This is a great read by an exceptional author. I have read many books by this author and they are always among my favorites and this one is no different. I was pulled in from the start and entertained throughout. Marvel and Virginia have been through so much in their lives that they tend to keep to themselves. Marvel at least has his MC brothers and their families but Virginia is alone. They meet in unexpected circumstances. Will their past keep them acting on the attraction and chemistry between them? This story has suspense, twists and turns, wonderful characters and so much more. This is a must read that I highly recommend.

This was a great read. I was pulled in right away and kept on reading until I got to the end. This is the first book I have read by this author and I look forward to reading more. Both of them don’t want or need any distractions because they are working toward their future but their chemistry is hard to deny. This book has romance, struggles, family, and emotion. I enjoyed this quick read. The author did a fantastic job pulling me into the story and connecting me with the characters. I didn’t want this story to end. Bullet, who is a prospect, is dealing with a lot, guilt, nightmares, and anger. He wants to do his best for his brothers but he feels like he’s letting them down. Clementine is an independent woman who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. When these two meet the chemistry is evident. When you read this book you will find out where his nightmares are coming from. This was a quick read but it packed a punch. There is a lot happening in this story, and it’s told from multiple pov’s. I read this book in one sitting and when I was done I wanted more. There are so many good characters in this story. We got to see character growth and change in both Jason and Lilly which will help them with what they will be up against next. This book touches on some sensitive subjects that might be a trigger for some people. I found this story to be engaging, emotional, and written in a way that sucks you right into it. This was an emotional read. I found this story to be original and unexpected. Grace and Ian become roommates because of circumstances that have Grace needing to move out of her friend’s place quickly. Ian has a very big secret that he’s trying to keep from ever coming out. Grace has some issues in her past that she’s not sure she will ever be ready to talk about. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. This book had romance, pain, love, a shocking surprise that I didn’t see coming, great characters and so much more. This is the first book I have read by this author but it definitely won’t be the last. This author wrote a great story that I highly recommend.

This is the third book in this series. Scott is in the first two books, but you don’t need to have read them to know what’s going on in this book, having said that I do think you should read them because they are good books. Scott runs a hospital and has hired an obstetrician named Franceen. These two find themselves attracted to each other but since they work together neither one of them have acted on the attraction, not to mention that both of their past relationships have made them apprehensive about taking a chance on relationships. They find that as their attraction and chemistry grows they can’t deny it anymore. Can they get over their past hurts to find love? Will their careers get in the way of having a relationship? To find the answers to these questions you need to dive into this romantic emotional story with great characters. I loved reading this book and I think you will too!

Gil and Sophie just finished wrapping up their movie. These two have amazing chemistry on and off the set. Sophie is used to being alone and Gil is afraid of commitment. There are a lot of obstacles in the way of these two while trying to see if a relationship is what they want. There are a lot of great characters in this book. I loved Gil’s family and even some of the animals. There is good character growth in this story for both Sophie and Gil. Will Sophie decide what she wants to do? Will Gil work out his commitment issues? This story had funny moments, romance, twists and turns and was written in such a way that I was pulled right in. The author kept me entertained throughout the entire story. I enjoyed this author’s writing style. I recommend reading this story.

This Sci fi military story isn’t a genre I would normally read but I am glad I gave it a chance because I enjoyed it very much. This book is full of action, great characters, suspense and danger. The author did an exceptional job keeping me entertained and the detail was so vivid that it felt real. I was kept on the edge of my seat wondering who was the enemy, who was working for who? Kat found herself in some dangerous situations, but she didn’t let it stop her from doing her job and what she believes is right. There are many other great characters. When I got to the end I wanted more. I look forward to reading more from this author.

A Hundred Wishes (Band of Sisters)A Hundred Wishes by Marianne Rice
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Gina is a very strong independent woman. She got injured pretty badly in a roadside bomb and even though she’s physically healed there are some emotional scars. Gina has been through quite a bit of stuff in her life which is why she’s such a strong woman, plus she has a close knit set of friends that she calls her sisters, who are there for her.
Bryce meets Gina at a crafting fair and he finds her very attractive. He tries to talk to her and she shuts that down quickly. These two happen to see each other again and the chemistry is very apparent. Bryce asks Gina out but she turns him down because of a misunderstanding. After the misunderstanding is cleared up they end up enjoying each other’s company but Gina has her heart guarded and tells herself she won’t be anything but friends with him. In this story we see both of them learn more about each other. Can Gina get past her insecurities to make it work? Can Bryce get past his fears? To find these things out you must read this wonderful story. This book hits on a lot of different emotions and makes it a good read. I can’t wait to read the next one. I recommend this book.

She runs into Theo who is also a cop and that makes her apprehensive because she doesn’t trust the police but she decides to give him a chance. This story progresses quickly but you still get all the feelings and twists and turns that you want in a good story. I dove right into this book without having read the first four in this series. I found this to be an enjoyable read without feeling lost in any way. I do however plan to go back and read the other books for more of a back story and because I’m sure they are just as good as this one and I would like to know whilst I missed. This book kept me entertained throughout the entire story. I loved how strong Miles and Bella’s marriage is even with the obstacles and outside forces that can cause problems. Miles’ success is important to him but is the cost too high? To find out this and more you must read this book. The magic in this story is an added bonus to an already good read. This story drew me right from the beginning. I couldn’t put this book down because I needed to know what was going to happen. Kirsa and Brock have been best friends since they were four and a few years later Victoria becomes their friend as well. Then something happens that ruins the friendship. Being a teenager is hard and then insert lies, misunderstandings, hormones, and gossip makes it even harder. I felt so bad for Kirsa, no teenager should be treated that way. I found myself so angry because Brock and Victoria couldn’t just leave Kirsa alone. I was so happy when Rylan showed up during senior year. Rylan didn’t give in to peer pressure and I liked him even more for that. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. This is a must read.

She is tough, smart, independent, a good lawyer and also flawed as many of us are, which makes her very relatable. As an ex prosecuter she is now in the other side defending a high profile teenager accused of murder. This book is full of suspense, great characters, twists and turns, and much more. This isn’t a genre I read often but I thought I would take a chance on this one. It took me a little while to get into it but once I did I was hooked. The author did a great job building a world full of fantasy, action, magic, and great characters. This book is different from any other fantasy books I have read before and that sets it apart and makes for good reading. Ian Troy has spent a very long time running away from his past but people haven’t forgotten what he did. There is certainly a high price to pay for using magic. We are taken on an adventure in this story and left wanting more. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book.
