Whatever Tomorrow Brings (Embrace Tomorrow Duet Book 2) by Amy Argent – Review by Candida Hopper

Whatever Tomorrow Brings (Embrace Tomorrow #2)Whatever Tomorrow Brings by Amy Argent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

An emotional must read. I knew I had to read this one after reading the first book. I recommend reading Come Back Tomorrow before diving into this one. This book is the continuation of Will and Tori’s relationship and Will’s fight to beat cancer. In this book there are definitely challenges as Will fights for his life and Tori is there with him and for him. Although there is sadness and heartache in this story there is also hope, love, romance, friendship, and family. I found myself completely invested in their lives and had to read this book in one sitting. I am so glad that we got to see how Will and Tori’s relationship grew as they lived outside of the hospital. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another great read. This book picks up right where book one left off so it is my suggestion you read that one first. It is also my suggestion you read all the Satan’s Devils MC books because they are awesome and you will get to know more of the men and their journeys. Red is such a good man and I was hoping he would find happiness with someone. Cher and Red have changed a lot since they last saw each other and they definitely get tested in this story. This is an emotional read full of action, twists and turns, romance and I even learned some things that I didn’t know and I’m glad I am more informed. This author is always a must read for me, I am never disappointed and the writing style always pulls me into the story and gets me completely invested in the characters. I highly recommend this book; it’s a definite five star read!

This was a short book but it packed a punch. I was pleasantly surprised that the Dom in this story was a female. The connection between Elgin and Mary Beth can be felt as I read about these two. There is healing, romance, emotion, and obviously plenty of steamy moments. This is the first book I have read by this author and I am definitely going to be reading more. I enjoyed the writing style and how smooth the story flowed. I think you will enjoy this book. When I finished the story I wanted more which makes for a good read in my book. I recommend giving it a shot.

This book was hard to put down. There were some unexpected secrets revealed that I didn’t see coming. This story is full of danger, lies, action, and some great characters. There are some graphic scenes in this story which may be a trigger for some people. It was hard to read about everything Liz went through but at the same time I couldn’t look away because I became completely invested in her and rooting for her. I also found myself rooting for her Liz and Alex to take the next step. If you want to find out what happens between these two then you must read this. I look forward to reading more from this author. I recommend reading this book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book had me hooked from the start. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one after reading No Way Out, the first book in this series. You don’t have to have read the first book to enjoy this one but it is my suggestion that you do because it’s a great story. I have read other books by this author and I enjoy the writing style. Sophia and Enzo have been part of each other’s lives since they were children and have loved each other for just as long but Enzo is contracted to marry another and Sophia has secrets that could have deadly consequences. This is a must read if you want to find out what happens between these two and if the secrets get revealed. This book is filled with danger, suspense, romance, great characters and so much more. I was thoroughly entertained, and I think you will enjoy it as well.

Check In (Bobbins Sisters Series Book 2) by Debra Parmley – Review by Candida Hopper

Check InCheck In by Debra Parmley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the second book in this series and a bit shorter than the first one. You don’t need to have read the first one to read this one, but I think it’s a good idea to read it because you will have some back story on Leann and her sister. In this story we get to see how much Leann has matured. This was a really quick read, I honestly wish this book was longer because it felt a little rushed at times and I would have liked to get lost in the story more. I was happy to see that Leann finally met a good guy. Len is a police officer who checks in with her to make sure she’s safe and then one day she isn’t. If you want to find out what happens then you need to read this story that has romance and suspense.

This is the second book in this series and it is my suggestion that you read book one before diving into this one. After reading the first book I was excited to jump into this one and it was as good if not better than I hoped it would be. In this story we learn more about Derek and Julia. Rain, Hunter and Derek saved Julia from the monster that tortured her and did other unspeakable acts toward her. Derek is very patient with Julia and I love how he takes care of her and helps her realize her strength. I got so engrossed in this book that I read it in one sitting. There is suspense, danger, action, manipulation, romance, and wonderful characters which makes this such a good read. The author does an exceptional job building a world that drew me in and kept me entertained. I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to read what comes next.

This story took me on an emotional roller-coaster. This book is not for the faint of heart. This was heart wrenching as well as heart warming. You will definitely need to have a box of tissues near when you read this. This is the first book I have read by this author and I am glad I took the chance because the author sucked me into the story and the lives of the characters. The struggles Will goes through while battling this awful disease was hard to read. I am glad that Tori was there with him and brought up the good feelings I needed to feel in a sea of sadness. This book leaves us on a cliffhanger but it is one of hope. I look forward to engrossing myself in the next book. This is a must read.

Wow, this book took me on an emotional roller-coaster. It is my suggestion that you read the first two books in this series before diving into this one for more backstory of the characters and for better enjoyment. Scott and Zelda go through so much in this story. I found myself completely enthralled and invested in their lives. This book is full of action, ghosts, heartache, love and so much more. Red’s Peril Part 1: The making of an MC Prez (Satan’s Devils MC Las Vegas Chapter)
By Manda Mellett

I am so happy that I got to know Red better. The author took us back to where Red came from. I went through so many emotions while reading Red’s story, I laughed, I cried, and I swooned. Before Red became one of the Santans Devils he met a girl while he was heading south to start his new life and she went along for a short time but decided to go back home and leave Red, that didn’t stop him from thinking about her has he got older. This is an excellent read and I cannot believe I have to wait until the end of November to read the second part of this story. Every book I read by this author blows me away. This is definitely one of my favorite authors and each of these books draw me in and keep ahold of me so much so that I don’t want the stories to end. This book is no different, I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this book.

I am a sucker for a good Rockstar Romance. I am so glad I picked up this book because it did not disappoint. The author sucked me into Melody and Joe’s story and I became completely invested. This is a friend’s to lovers story with drama, secrets, loss, love, and great characters. Melody is the daughter of a legendary drummer and she has known Joe and his band, Gracefall for a long time. She is asked to manage their tour and although she has reservations about it she decides to go and that’s when things get going. I don’t want to give anything away but you need to put this on your must read list. I experienced a myriad of emotions while reading this story which makes it a great read for me. There is chemistry between these two but Hunter isn’t used to having these feelings and Rain has a secret that she’s afraid will change everything if Hunter finds out. This book is full of action, danger, love, betrayal, great characters and more. I found myself on the edge of my seat at times wondering what was going to happen next. This book captivated me from the beginning. I enjoyed the fact that the main characters were a bit older. The characters come across very relatable. Callie has been through so much at the hands of her husband and she’s trying to get away. CC has been through a lot himself and when his sister in law asks for his help because her neighbor is in need he is there to help. The attraction between Callie and CC is apparent from the first time they meet but there are more important things to deal with first. I enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more by this author.

This book pulled in from the beginning just like the first two in this series. This series just keeps getting better with each book. This one gets a little more steamy than the first two, I am definitely not complaining. In this one Vanessa finds herself in a race against time on a mission she needs to complete to save her soul but it doesn’t seem to be going as planned. I loved how we got to know some of the characters better in this story. This book starts up right where book two left off so it is my suggestion you read this series in order. I was pulled in this story as soon as I started reading it. This was an interesting and intriguing read. There were times in this story that I felt a little confused but overall it was well written. We get introduced to a few different characters in this book and each of them are living with their own struggles, some just struggling to feed themselves. The author was very descriptive in her words so that I was able to picture life in this dystopian world. I am hoping for another book in which some questions might be answered and we get to go into more depth with some of the characters. I gave this book 4 stars.

I became so invested I read it in one sitting. This book can be read as a standalone but it is my suggestion that you read these books in order for a better backstory and understanding of Sam’s and his brothers history. This book does contain triggers for some people. Both Sam and Ellie are at the end of their rope, they can’t take anymore mentally or emotionally, they are ready to give up on life. A wrong number changes everything for these two. Sam recognizes the same darkness that’s pulling him under in Ellie’s voice and he feels a very strong need to save her. By Danielle Jacks

I fell in love with this book after a few pages. Jody has some major insecurities, mostly from her lack of keeping a job long term and her family’s view of her being a screw up. When she finds out her grandmother has fallen and hurt herself she soon realizes that she will be the one to go to Clover Bay to help out at her grandmother’s bakery. Jody is not feeling very optimistic and she’s afraid she will screw it up. Adam is the one who called and told Jody and her sister Hannah about their grandmother, he was expecting Hanmah not Jody who looks to him like a high maintenance city girl. Adam has been hurt in the past by an outsider so he chooses to stick to interacting with the locals. I really enjoyed watching both of these characters grow throughout the story. They both tell themselves not to get close to each other but both find themselves enjoying spending time together while Adam helps teach Jody a few things. Will Jody find her niche working in the bakery? What will happen between these two? This is a must read to find out. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

This book had me hooked from the beginning. This was a quick read for me, full of romance and relatable characters. Jody is living in the shadow of her twin sister. One night Jody decides to let out some steam and go for a night out and that’s where she meets Holt. It is supposed to be a one night stand but the chemistry between these two cannot be denied. Jody’s twin Jilly is a spoiled brat and I so wanted someone to teach her a lesson. I was hoping that Jody would find her way out of her sister’s shadow and away from her parents who can’t seem to see how they treat her. Holt is a pilot on leave and looking for some fun but he can’t seem to get the woman he met out of his head. This is a must read if you want to find out what’s going to happen between these two. I recommend reading this book. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
