Then also showing up with an all new coach to boot? Flynn Dryden is a self help guru that is on her way to becoming a household name through her books. These two strong willed individuals have a chance encounter that is about to send them on a rollercoatser ride of emotions. They both have skeleton in their suitcases waiting to burst out. Chavez is willing to share his but will Flynn do the same? This is a good book that flows very well from beginning to end. The sparks between the characters jumped off the pages and has you rooting for them to get a happily ever after.

They’ve known each other since they were young. They were always off limits to each other because they didn’t want a friendship to be ruined. Now they are both grown and reconnecting at a time when they could both use a friend. Calliope is trying to find herself again after a toxic relationship and Brandon is trying to find inspiration after hitting a mental block with his song writing. Although they never hooked up they always had a strong attraction to one another. Even though it’s been almost two decades the attraction hasn’t dulled one bit. After all she’s been through will Calliope be willing to take a chance at happiness once again? Has Brandon found the muse he’s been searching for and be able to keep the inspiration flowing? Most importantly will they get the happily ever after they’ve both been longing for?

Both of these characters come from a place of hurt. Rae when she watched her mother spiral into a depression stemming from having her heart broken and Dean being ditched at the alter. When they are in close quarters for a weekend they both discover that they in fact have started developing feelings. When Rae’s Rockstar friend Brandon shows up feelings of jealousy begin to stir. Can Rae convince Dean that Brandon is strictly in the friendzone? Will they both be willing to take a chance on happiness?

As the title of my review states I didn’t realize this was a series, let alone the fourth book. With that being said I didn’t feel like I was missing out on anything. A Romanian actors’ troupe is in Italy to help a floundering theater by putting on the play, Macbeth. Of course every actor and actress knows that the play itself is cursed, but this acting company tries to shed all the eerieness and rumors surrounding the play until strange things start to happen. Maybe the curse of Macbeth is truly with them when one of their own is discovered deceased. Detective Scala and his partner have a mystery on their hands as they start to dig and find that the deceased is not who she was thought to be. But who wanted her dead and why? I enjoyed reading this book and it kept me guessing until the end. The twists and turns the story took in sorting out the life on the victim kept me turning the pages. If you like a good who dunnit this is a good book to add to your collection.

Fenimore James dreams of becoming a famous outlaw in the West and chooses the name Simon Shaw. He finds the Red Evans gang and joins up but soon finds that robberies aren’t as fun as he thought when members turn up dead. Whoever is behind these murders may be someone in their ranks, at least the leader seems to think so. In the midst of all the madness Fenimore, or Simon, finds himself falling in love with a fellow Red Evans member. Will a relationship happen? With the leader getting more and more paranoid by the minute anyone is liable to become the accused. This book has twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages. It does start out a bit slow, however if you stick with it you will be glad you did.

Yet another great book in the series. It’s fast paced with action and some steamy scenes. Master Calabrea is content to not have a mate and have non-committed relationships. That is until he meets Tansia. It’s been told in the Vade Mecum, the book that the Vampires value as a set of rules, that a woman who resembles Tansia in looks will save their race. She will partner with a fierce and noble vampire leader who could possible be Calabrea and have the power of site. How much of it is true? Calabrea is if course attracted to her physically but finds that he is becoming enamored with her for her feisty personality. Soon things between these two heat up in the bedroom but end up getting a bit messy when a former lover of Calabrea gets jealous. In the midst of these two trying to figure out how to make a relationship work between a Vampire and a human they are also helping Overmaster Descallia hunt down Isala. She is still out there building an army to take them down, but will she be successful? Or will they find her before any more damage is done? This books, as well as the others, can be read as a stand alone however there are some parts that make more sense when reading them in order. You won’t get lost if you don’t read the other stories, but you can get a better sense of what is happening instead of being thrown to the wolves so to speak and having to play catch up.

I have to say that this book was a good one to pick up. I’ve never read anything by this author before but I will definitely be reading the other books in this series as well as be looking for other books written by her. The story keeps you engaged from start to finish with the great plot and character development. Aubrianne is determined to find out what her husband does when he leaves for days at a time. She was tough when it was needed especially when it came to her loved ones. Her husband, Larkin, is seeking adventure and jumps head first into investigating Lord Roger who deals with a rival realm. Will he be implicated as one of those that has committed treason? I’ve only started getting in historical romance books and read very few fantasy. These two genres mixed together was not what I was expecting and was pleasantly surprised. If you’re looking to mix up your book shelf a bit this would be a good book to add.

I have come to really enjoy reading about the Hawke’s. The Hawke’s have always been about protecting their family, their legacy and this book was no different. Isaac is no different when it comes to being a protector, but when a blast from the past shows up with a child in tow that could only mean one thing. He knows from the moment he looks into her eyes that she is his and he will do whatever ot takes to keep her safe. But why has Jack shown up out of the blue after all these years? If you want to find out whether there is a happily ever after for these two you will have to read the book to find out. You won’t be disappointed.

What was meant to be a one night stand has turned into something much more. When they get trapped together during a snowstorm they are learning more about one another and falling in love in the process. While Walt is a country boy, Elyse is a girl who can’t be torn from the concrete jungle. Will their lifestyle choices be too much for them to over look and give a relationship a shot? I enjoyed this book just as much as the first one. Although this is part of a series you can read it as a standalone.

I haven’t read any other books by this author but I will definitely be reading the others in this series.

Noah Pierce is a whorkaholic and confirmed bachelor. He much prefers crunching numbers to people but that is about to change. When his childhood friend passes away he becomes the guardian of her infant daughter. He is way over his head and he needs some help ASAP. Amy Highgate, a good friend to his sister-in-law, is going to school to become a teacher. When he sees ber calm down the wailing baby he knows he has to have her be the nanny he needs and start as soon as possible. They share a mutual attraction from the beginning but Amy is determined to make this new job a success. Will they be able to keep things strictly professional or blur the lines? This has been a great series to read. The author has done a great job bringing all of these characters to life. It’s definitely worth it to take the time to read the books in this series.

Another good book in the Benoit and Dayne Series. As with the other books this one will also keep you turning the pages with the twists and turns. Just when you think you’ve got it figured out you get thrown a curve ball. The Sheriff is experiencing a sort of deja vu when a young woman is discovered in the same circumstances as her best friend 25 years earlier. She has a gut feeling the ex-sheriff is involved but without hard evidence she can’t put him away for these crimes. Lila tries her hardest to pin down a suspect but even her investigative skills are getting nowhere. When her sister is taken along with several prominent community members she can’t stay away. She knows she is too close to the case but she doesn’t have a choice. Will she be able to find the culprit before anyone else loses their life to this monster?

Kayla’s blind date app and restaurant are starting to thrive. Evan, as a silent partner, wants nothing more than to see this become a success. When he decides to try out the app and see if he can find his one and only everyone is for it. Even if Kayla is happy to let Evan try out the app she does become a little jealous. Evan on the other hand is adamant that he will not have good dates and soon realizes he has more than friendly feelings for Kayla. Will he ever be able to tell her? Along the way there is someone who is trying to ruin the business but who and why? Will these two get a happily ever after together? Evan and Kayla had great chemistry throughout the whole book. Kayla was very relatable when it came to wanting to solving her own problems. While Evan was only trying to make things a little easier on her it only had him getting the stink eye and an earful, haha. The supporting characters were also great and I look forward to reading their stories later on down the road.

This was a quick and easy read that will have you feeling all kinds of emotions. Riley has been living her life on the run for years taking up new identities when the situation called for it. Now she and her mother were about to settle for good in Santa Monica but Riley didn’t want to get her hopes up. Cole was living the perfect life, at least that’s what it looked like to those on the outside. When they run into each other at a party their attraction is instant. With all the drama going on in both of their lives will they be able to find happiness? We of course will have to read the rest of the books in the series to find out and I can’t wait!

After six long years will Kasper and Krysta get their happily ever after? When Krysta was a teenager she fell in love with her brothers best friend. Rather than ruin a good friendship they kept their relationship secret. After seeing the love of his life be thrown into the back of a van, Kasper knew it was time to fess up to what she truly meant to him. I enjoyed this book and was able to read it in one sitting. I hate to admit it but I haven’t read any of the other books in this series, however I will definitely be checking them out.

Elinor is trying to have herself a good holiday when she finds that someone has targeted the king. Duke de Archambeau is also on the case and feels he can solve this mystery before Elinor. She’s being kept busy with other paranormal happenings as well but she is determined to find who is behind the plot against the king. The pace of this book was a little quick, however it never makes you feel like you’re missing out on any part of the story. The author does a great job building onto the story and the characters from the first installment. If you like paranormal crime and mystery this would be a great book to read.

If you haven’t read any of the books about the Hawke family you should. Not only are they steamy but they are also well written. Of course this book can be read as a stand alone since it’s a prequel to the next generation of Hawke’s. Isaac meets Jack in a bar while he is spending his last days in Chicago. He’s just finished law school and is about to enter into the family business. They don’t exchange names and there are no expectations for it to go further than a roll in the hay since it’s only for one night. But one night turns into two and then they want more. I’m looking forward to the full length novel as this has built up anticipation to find out more about Isaac and Jack.

This is a great series to add to any collection. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you on your toes in the first book, Savage Collision. If you like hot headed, intelligent and feisty leading ladies then you will love Danika Eriksson. She stormed into Savage’s office to hopefully save her sister from working in his club. What she wasn’t expecting was to be attacted to the man. In return Savage Hawke wasn’t expecting that being told off by an attractive woman would be so enticing. With their attraction to one another being off the charts will they be able to tame the fire or get burned? <br /><br />In the second book, Tortured Skye, we get the story of Savage’s sister and his best friend. They have been dancing around each other for years and one kiss shared between then has the potential to ruin everything. Do they risk it all to be happy? <br /><br />Stone Sober is Stone Hawke and Nora Erikssons story. They are opposites in every way, but their building attraction cannot be ignored. Stone dabbles in things that he doesn’t want Nora exposed to because of the danger. However he cannot seem to keep himself away from her. Nora was on her way to getting a degree in the medical field before she dropped out of school and became a stripper at The Hawkeye Club. She knows what kind of man Stone is, or is perceived to be from others, but she can’t help the pull he has on her. Will they have to keep their love affair a secret? <br /><br />Building Storm follows Storm Hawke and Landon McCabe. Storm is trying to piece her life back together after seemingly losing it all. She has her daughter to look after so she soldiers on through her pain. She isn’t looking for love but love has found her even if she hasn’t realized it. Landon McCabe is running from his problems in Chicago. He figures he can get a fresh new start in New Orleans and not get attached. They are both broken in different ways but they help to heal each other in this story. Will they get a happily ever after or are they too broken to be fixed?<br /><br />The final books in the series Tainted Saint and Steele Resolve tie up this series beautifully. <br /><br />Tainted Saint follows Caroline Brooks and Solomon “Saint” Clarke. Caroline is a good friend to the Hawke sisters and Saint is a bouncer at The Hawkeye Club. They have been eyeing each other for a while but have never acted on their feelings until the night of a masquerade party. Both parties used the anonymity to get what they want but it may come at a price. <br /><br />Steele Resolve follows Byron Harris and Luca “Steele” Abello. Byron knows that he has to come clean to the Hawke’s at some point, but how? He knew he should have ended what he had going with Luca the moment he found out his identity but the attraction was too strong. There is no question that his loyalty is to the Hawke’s as they are the only family he has, blood or not. Will the Hawke’s turn their back on him? Luca Abello is a Mob boss who is trouble. Just like Byron he knew things should have ended after their first night together. He knowingly risks their lives every time he sees Byron but it’s a risk worth taking. Is bad blood between the Hawke’s and Luca too much for their relationship to withstand or will everyone get their happily ever after?

With her marriage falling apart she is trying to keep things professional, but how much longer will that last?<br /><br />Beckett has been tearing it up in the NHL for the last several years, but his days just might be numbered. He has had one too many problems that no teams want him for fear of him bringing down their image. Now that he has found himself out of a job that he loves he must come up with money to cover his debts. In comes Paige, or Andie as he affectionately calls her, to save the day. He knows he needs to change his ways for not only himself but his career. He has never been one to make a commitment when it came to relationships but Paige is making him want to settle down. Will she be willing to be more than friends?<br /><br />I enjoyed this book as well as the writing style of the author. It was nice to see how much Beckett changed over the course of the book and how he saw he could be a much better person being sober. The banter between the characters was fun as well.

This was a great sequel to the first book, Secrets Never Die. We get to know Tallie even better and follow her journey of still trying to figure things out. She has found out that her father is a man named General Cai Kaswell. She has been using the set of skills her mother taught her on tracking to help find people that have vanished. Unfortunately the father she just discovered is among the missing. Will she be able to find him? <br /><br />There is a lot going on in this book and it definitely keeps you on your toes. Just when you think you have the plot figured out and you know what’s going to happen you get thrown for a loop. If you like books like this I highly recommend taking this one for a spin.

This story had a good plot to it and I was pulled into the story from the start. The author did a good job with moving the book forward and developing the characters a bit. Katarina is on a business trip in Aruba gearing up for a week long meeting about the development of a new medical facility. Chase is a wealthy businessman that had contracted the company Katarina works to oversee said project. As I moved through the first few chapters and saw the interaction between these two it was evident there was a mutual attraction. It was hard to tell whether Chase knew that Katarina was working for him from the beginning or if he found out through the interaction in the emails. She though was surprised to find out whom she had been corresponding with when he showed up to do his part for the meeting. Will she be willing to move forward with their relationship after being lied to? Will there be a happily ever after?
