So far I have enjoyed all of the books in this series. I really enjoy this author’s writing style. In this story Justine Saunders and Jackson Maddox are our main leads and of course seem like night and day. Jackson is looking forward to wrapping up the last of his mother’s affairs and getting out of dodge. Justine is itching to get her hands on the vintage clothes from a recently deceased actress that was well known. While getting the clothing unloaded and going through it Ms. Saunders finds a path to find the man who fathered Jackson. Who was he and why did his mother protect the man’s identity until her death?

Dr. Gene Rowland has recently returned to his hometown of Gainesville, Georgia and boy what a welcome he gets. He witnesses an accident of the local baker, Amanda Garner, who swears she crashed trying not to hit a teenaged girl running across the road. No girl can be found and even if there was one she was long gone. She doesn’t want to go to the hospital but ultimately goes and talks Gene into staying with her over night. He tries to keep things strictly professional but his feelings grow day by day the more time they spend together. Little does he know that Amanda had a crush on him in high school and her feelings may have never gone away. I enjoyed the Echo Series very much and I had fun reading this one. This doesn’t necessarily need to be read as part of the series, but if you want the complete collection do pick it up.

Well this one started off with a bang. Detective Scala is on the case trying to find out who unalived two cousins. All of the time he is putting into this case is taking time from his loved ones and his home life is suffering. The more he digs the more danger he potentially puts himself in. As he digs for evidence, he gets deeper and deeper in the underground of illegal activities. Is this where the answer lies? Even though this is book six in the series it can be read as a standalone. I say that as being a reader who picked this up before reading the previous books. If engaging murder myseries are your cup of tea I do suggest giving this a try. It was engaging and the author gets you invested in solving the case.

Historical romances are quickly becoming one of my favorite genres. This is the first book in the Daughters of Dishonour series and it was a good one. It started off with a bang when our female lead, Margot Keating, finds out that she is not the daughter of the vicar but a Duke! Unfortunately the Duke ends up being killed during a break in and his last words are urging Margot to catch the culprit. When chasing the culprit through the neighboring house she runs into Lord Beresford. He has quite the reputation due his unorthodox parties, his good looks, and most of all his unwillingness to be married. These two are thrown together and form an unlikely relationship on their hunt for a killer, missing diamonds, and a map. They also have intense feelings for each other but will they act on them or continue to be in denial?

However, he seems to be in over his head being buried in paperwork and interviews. It has given him far less time to spend with Lark which makes them both unhappy. Now companions are starting to go missing and Jaru has been warned that his are next. Will Jaru be able to keep everyone safe? This story was fun and engaging. I will be going back to read the three books before this one to get a better understanding of the characters.

I can’t believe we are almost at the end of this series! It has been such a good series and I have enjoyed each book for different reasons. The vampires are still on the hunt for the rogues and they keep coming ever closer. Like the masters before, Oradea meets his fated mate when she puts herself in danger. She has powers of her own, some of which she didn’t even know about. Unfortunately when she uses her powers she puts them all in danger. This has all of the elements and steam we have come to expect if you have read all the books in the series. Master Oradea is just as enjoyable as all the others and just as fast paced. Just make sure you don’t have anything important planned because you won’t want to stop reading until the book is finished.

Drs Liccione and Finnerty have lost a dear friend, Dr. Gennifer Drake. She was found deceased on a beach in Galveston Island, TX. They decide to investigate her murder themselves and uncover that she had been researching a new form of a mosquito born illness. They also find that this may be tied to a QAnon conspiracy. But who is behind her demise? Will the doctors be able to find who is responsible before it’s too late? I enjoyed this book and found it hard to put down.

In this story the widow of veteran Josh Baker is seeking answers to her husband’s untimely passing. She is unsure if it was self inflicted or was it homicide? Drs Liccione and Finnerty are prepared to investogate and help Mrs. Baker get spme answers so that she can properly grieve. Will they be able to help her get the closer she so desperatley needs or will the bad guys stop them from finding the truth? Peppered throughout the story are things that are happening to our vets in the real world such as PTSD and addiction. Writing about things that are happening outside of this fictional world makes the book so much more relatable. It helps us to better understand what these men and women deal with daily. I’m glad I took a chance on this medical mystery as it is something outside of what I would normally read.

Kaitlyn and Bennett met around a decade ago in an airport and lost contact, but now they are back in each others lives. Bennett was on the verge of renewing his contract when he was dropped by his agent. A friend calls in a favor to Kaitlyn when no agent was willing to represent Bennett. She’s at the top of her game in a field dominated by men. Sealing an epic deal for her newest client will ensure her the top spot. Aside from wanting to unalive him for dumb stuff that makes her job harder, these two are insanely attracted to one another. Of course dating is out of the question. Or is it? These two together were a rollercoaster of emotions at times but they were good together. Even though I haven’t read the first book in the series I plan on doing so in the near future.

Abigail Dilworth is your normal and average everyday girl. However, she also is a huge pop star that goes by the stage name of Kaia. She has just come off of a world tour and intends on finishing her teaching degree. She will be going incognito at a high school in Maine, but after that she doesn’t know which career path she wants to continue. Everett Reynolds is the vice-principal at this school, and he also has a job working for the EPA. Nobody else knows about his second career and much like Abigail, or Kaia, as she is known, he does not want anybody to know. Things could get a little hairy when Abigail asks him to become her alter ego, the pop stars fake fiancé. Will he take her up on this offer? They got off to a rocky start when they met in a bakery, but as they continued to work together closely the lines started to blur. This was a fun book to read and the characters were enjoyable. Their interactions seemed genuine and were relatible in some instances. Although this was the first book that I have read by this author, I do look forward to looking for more of her published works.

Colin was on the brink of losing his job, but the last thing he expected was to find his boss deceased. The lawyer was disliked by just about everybody in town so it’s going to be hard to prove who committed the crime. Colin’s sister is determined to investigate in spite of Daniel’s wishes. While she knows her brother is no angel, neither she nor her boyfriend believe he is guilty. Daniel feels like all the puzzle pieces are coming together, but there is one that is elusive. He is determined to figure out what the missing piece is before things get worse. Will the culprit be found or will they go on to commit another crime? This was a fairly fast place book and the author draws you in from the beginning. You don’t necessarily have to read book one in order to follow along with this one, however, it might give a little bit of a better understanding of the characters.

I haven’t read too many historical romances so these three books are in a small handful. These stories are set in the beautiful country (what I have seen in the pictures) of Portugal during the 1800s. Each story has their own set of unique characters and circumstances with complex characters, but they are easy to follow. Even though you could attempt to read each book individually I highly suggest reading them in order. The author did a great job in her descriptions that you are able to see everything so clearly. I haven’t read anything by this author before picking up this series, but I can’t wait to read more.

This was a great set of books to get into. Each story has a strong female lead and a great strong and supporting male counterparts. If you like stories that deal with second chances, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and undeniable chemistry this boxset has it all. All of the characters are well rounded and the stories flow nicely. Each story is unique and has its own storyline so if you wanted to read these individually you could. If you pick this up just be prepared to stay up well past the time you should be in bed because you won’t want to put it down.

Don’t feel bad if you don’t know much a out ballet when you pick up the book. I feel that the author did a good job describing and explaining so I knew what was what. The characters are also well developed and they, along with how the author tells the story, draw you in. Elena has been invited to perform at a Gala that takes place in the school she used to attend. She has also been invited to audition for the unfinished play, Black Raphsody. Elena holds secrets and as they slowly come to light strange things start happening. All of the evidence points to her, but did she do it? This is a fast paced story with plenty of twists. You may think you have it figured out but then it switches up and you need to go back to the drawing board.

Perfect was a fun and well written book. Chloe is a college student still trying to figure out her life and what she wants. We see her go through several relationships as she tries to navigate this thing called life. Some relationships are good and some not so good. Although at first I found it a bit odd to have the story broken up into parts it made sense as the story progressed. This was a fast paced yet enjoyable book that can be read as a standalone.

Valeria seems to be living a dream, however that all comes crashing down. She is a lead actress on a soap opera called Charming Lives, but her ex-boyfriend is her characters love interest. Of course she was hurt when she was dumped, but it really stung when she found out her best friend was dating him at the same time. A newcomer to the show, Cecily, is quickly becoming a friend as they are around the same age and seem to get along well. They learned a bit about each other while stuck in traffic and ultimately opted to walk when it came to a standstill. They end up running into one of Valeria’s exes, Davis, that she still has feeling for. He is having a tough time and feeling the pressure of being in college. Although she wants to rekindle her relationship with Davis, Cecily ends up fixing her up with an up and coming pop star, Dex Doyle. Due to his popularity it also makes Valeria’s star rise and they are constantly in the spotlight. Does she choose the guy that wants to stay out of the gossip magazines? Or will it be the guy that has her feeling like she’s in a real life TV drama? This book was a fun and quick read. I do believe I read the books that featured Cecily and how she came to date her boyfriend which were also enjoyable. Even though I am a bit beyond the targeted audience I still enjoyed the story and how the author pulled the story together.

William Stanton is back home from Oxford for the summer. He has plans to hang with his friends and have a good time, however those plans change when he sees just how bad things have gotten. He instead spends time following his cousin around learning how to be an Earl and make acquaintances with the other gentleman for future business or political dealings. Charlotte has just stepped back into society after losing her husband to a fever a year prior. She feels out of place as she is not young enough to be a debutante, nor is she old enough to be a matron. She is in a gray area and isn’t quite sure how to proceed. When she and William lock eyes at a ball he wants to ask her name, but loses sight of her before he can approach her. In hopes that his cousin or good friend know her he asks them, however they do not. At the next big function the host is a common friend and makes an introduction, albeit it’s not full and formal but hasty. It was nice to see their relationship grow organically even become more even with Charlotte’s reservations due to her status. The characters were very likeable and well developed. I also liked that the steamy scenes weren’t so long that they felt overdone, but not so short it didn’t seem like there was any intimacy involved. They were tastefully written. As a first timer with this author I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next in the series.

Liam is itching to get his hands on his inheritance, but it is untouchable until he is either married or turns 35. He didn’t believe in love and never dated someone for longer than a few months. He felt he didn’t have good role models on the love department as his parents marriage was a disaster and not something he aspired to have. That all changed when he met Emma. At first it was about the hooking up but that soon led to him wanting to spend more time with her outside of their bedroom escapades. Emma was all for the no strings attached hook ups and she was quite good at not committing until she meets Liam. She is weary of falling for anyone after an ex did her dirty. Emma had rules and they were strictly followed until Liam. She slowly threw those out the window and found herself head over heels. Things seem to be working out until her ex comes barging back into her life and airs all of her dirty laundry. Will Liam want to stick around or will he run for the hills? Emma and Liam give you all the feels in this book. Their passion jumps off the pages. I enjoyed their story and hope to read more work by this author in the future.

If this is the end if the series as I have been hearing the title is definitely fitting. This enemies to lovers has plenty of drama. June and Dallas also have plenty of chemistry and it oozes off the pages. June and Dallas have known each other for a while. Something went wrong over a decade ago and June swore never to work with the man again. However, due to an investor backing out of financing the business she is trying to start she is in a pinch. Dallas, ever the knight in shining armor, knows a guy in Argentina. Is it safe to take money from a stranger? Overall this series has been a good one to read and can all be read as standalones.

Marjorie’s life has gone off the rails a bit and it started with an accident. She carries major guilt and has lost the trust of her parents. She goes about her life and keeps her head down until a new boy, Kyran, arrives at her school. They have a magnetic attraction that Marjorie can’t explain. Kyran tries to keep his distance due to the curse he has on him. It could also sever the last strings holding the twins relationship together. Marjorie may be the key to everything but at what cost? I enjoyed this book and the characters and look forward to reading more from this author.

I don’t think I have read a book with this many pages in quite a while. While I did enjoy the world building and characters the constant change in POV threw me a bit. Normally I would give up on reading a book that does that but this story had my attention. As I got further into the book and learned each character it became a non issue. The imagery that was painted with words made it easy to picture everything that was being described. With all of that being said I did truly enjoy this book. Amazon should really upgrade their star system and add halves as I am rating this a 4.5/5.

This was a great series and every book was just as good as the one previous. How the author wrote the stories of these characters lives made them feel real. You will get invested in what is happening and time will pass fairly quickly. Don’t feel pressured to read these books in the order they are written. Although the characters may appear in any of the books, they can be read as a standalone and in any order you choose.

So many bags travel with their respective owners and many of us have the same one. Many put something special to differentiate their luggage from another and some don’t. That’s what happens to Evelyn on her first trip overseas. She grabs what she thinks is her bag but it actually belongs to another girl who happens to looks a lot like her. Now she has a major crime boss after her. PI Patrick Miller is the only guy that can possibly keep her safe. This story has many twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. I am very much looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book.

If you are looking for steay stories look no further. This book has a collection of several stories that range in length on chapters. Do you like enemies to lovers or perhaps dad’s best friend? Those are in here and more. Yes the page count is high at over 700, but don’t let that scare you off! Each story has well rounded characters and descriptive enough that you feel like these short chapters are a whole story. Lastly, be prepared to have an answer as to why a book is making you blush. Enjoy!

Stevie Capot has awaken after many, many years. She is taken in by a widower and his son for the next 10 years, but leaves when people start to question why she hasn’t aged at all. It’s better to move on than try to explain something that you don’t have an answer to. Gabriel and his cousin Sebastian have been traveling all over not staying in one place too long. One night Gabriel catches a glimpse of Stevie and he cannot believe how similar she looks to the long gone fae princess, Stephanie. Upon this discovery he immediately returns to his king and is then ordered to find out Stevies true identity. Sebastian was madly in love with Stephanie all those years ago, surly he would know if she is the long lost princess. These cousins, however, are not the only ones looking for Stevie. There is also a bounty hunter seeking her and he has found her location. Will he get to her before all of her memories come back? I enjoyed this story and all the twists and turns. I am very much looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
