His only family is the Satan’s Devils and if they find out his secret, that could mean being kicked out of the club. Can Lady help Joker to come to terms with his secrets? Will the Satan’s Devils really turn on him? This author has once again sucked me into her series. A place I love when reading/listening to her story. The story is fast paced and easy to follow. Be prepared to experience many emotions. The characters are just plain loveable. If you follow the series you will see just how close they really are. Nite Fire: Exit Strategy Audiobook by C.L. Schneider – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Dahlia has worked so hard to build a safe Sentinel City. That all changed in a blink of an eye. As the blight continues to devour everything in its path. Most of Dahlia’s team have gone missing and she must try to save them. I found Dahlia Nite to be strong and independent, with the desire to save those around her. The author of this story has once again kept me reading. This story had so many feels and the suspense was that of a rollercoaster, you never knew what was going to happen next. Which makes for an interesting and well written novel. It is a fantastic audiobook to listen to while traveling. This is the fifth book in this series. It answered so many questions as the book came to an end. It is important that you read the series in order. As I am so sure you will love it as much as I did.

Carl and Mira are siblings and as we all know there is a love-hate relationship between them. Just as we all did with our siblings. Carl loves building sand castles, while Mira loves breaking them apart. The stronger the castle Carl makes. Mira must find another way to destroy it. This is just another example this author has written to involve the children. This story has so much to give to siblings and all children in general. As a child care providerI find these to be fantastic stories for children. I will continue to recommend this author’s books.

What a fun read for middle elementary school agers. I’d say to anyone who is ready to read a chapter book, this one is perfect. It has everything a reader is looking for. Fantasy, magic, journalism, and the most important is the adventure. Gwendolyn is a Dream Shifter so she shifts in her dreams but wakes up as a girl. That is until she is woken in the middle of the night to the fire alarm. Her life changes drastically and now she needs to turn things around. Elk season is here and, well she is an elk. How will she change? Can she change back to the girl she is? No Spoilers. This author has become one of my favorite writers for children’s books. All of her books are fascinating and easy to follow. Her stories never drag on, she keeps the reader reading. Her characters are always fun to read about. They are also easy to relate to. I am looking forward to the next story.

Rage (Marcy Series Book 1) Audiobook by Linda Burson – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Only one word to start this review off, WOW! This is a great start to this series. Marcy is extremely independent and strong. Finding herself in a store robbery, her anger gets the best of her. As she gives the robber a beat down. Okay I had to laugh at the fact she just responded so quickly that the people around her were stunned, including the man at the register. But when her boyfriend and employees insist she get counseling for her anger issues. She decides to go as she knows she is angry but does not know why. Then in walks Liam who needs Marcys help in making mends against the people who killed his family. That’s it! No Spoilers! I have read many of this author’s books, and she never disappoints. Marcy is definitely strong and independent, Liam is seeking Marcys help and Brad, the long time boyfriend, is wanting to keep Marcy close. I love the characters in this story and am looking forward to seeing where this series goes next.

That is all I will say about this fast paced and emotional story. This author has always impressed me with ner stories. This one did not disappoint. The author writes clearly and sends you through her book. I love her characters as they feel like friends I would love to hang out with. Welcome to Petty’s and Roselyn’s story. Petty is working a case protecting Roselyn. Roselyn is hiding from her abusive ex boyfriend. I admire both Petty and Roselyn! Roselyn left her ex boyfriend the first time he hit her. Smart as well as strong. Roselyn absolutely hates Petty, on the outside. Petty finds out his wife is coming home after being in prison for 7 years. Being the man he is, he gets an apartment to set up for her. Afterall he is still married to her. Things take a horrible turn for Petty. If his brothers find out his secret, Petty feels they will kick him out of Satan’s Devil’s MC. That’s all I am going to say, no spoilers. I absolutely admire this author. All I have to do is see her name and the book is mine. She wrote this series and wrote it well. Her characters are believable, strong, and loving in their own way. Breathless in Love Audiobook (The Maverick Billionaires Book 1) by Bella Andre & Jennifer Skully – Review by Cindy Mayberry

Listening to this story brought me so much joy. Will Franconi has almost everything. But something is missing from his life. Harper Newman has only her brother, who has special needs and loves cars. After losing their parents, Harper is now responsible for Jeremy. So she does everything to keep her brother’s life stable. Which means she has no time for dating. Jeremy is high functioning but Harper does not see that yet. In a simple letter to Will, Jeremy asks to see his car. Which is granted. That is where this story takes off.  I love this story. Harper is strong and loving towards her brother. Will is intrigued by Jeremys request. Not realizing his life is about to change. This author has written a different kind of love story. One that has come close to my own life. I fell in love with the strong characters as well as this story. It is well written and easy to follow, with many twists and unexpected romance. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next story in this series.
