I fell in love with these two characters right from the start. Mia and Noah both reeled me in and their connection and how it grew through the story was once again vintage Tamara Ferguson. I love this author, I love that even after so many books in a few series that take place in Crystal Rock, Wisconsin, I never ever get tired of revisiting. I’ve said this before but opening a book by this author is like coming home. There’s a comfort zone I know I’m going to enter as soon as I open the book! Might sound sappy but it is Fact!

This author writes a second chance romance like no other. They are each unique and believable and I can not recommend this book high enough. This was the best way for me to end my Christmas reading this season, and might just be one of my favorites by her to date.

Loved it!!

Ferguson does a beautiful job writing relatable books of second chance, romance, and military heroes. I have loved every book I’ve read by Ferguson thus far and couldn’t wait to read this one. I was certainly not disappointed. I love a well written second chance romance. And this was just a truly beautiful story. From beginning to end I was completely captivated. Loved every page.

Once again we are in Crystal Rock, a place that makes me feel like I’m home even though ive only been in these books. This author has such a way of detailing everything you need to know and helps along the way to be able to see it in your mind as you’re reading.
I love second chance romances and holiday romances so I got a two-fer here.
Mia and Noah and even others we’ve met in other books, are sure to be a fan favorite and can’t wait to visit this place again soon!

I fell in love with this heartwarming and sweet romance with a second chance at love theme. I always enjoy a Tamara Ferguson novel and this one definitely did not disappoint. The added festive feel added to the storyline making this an enjoyable and engaging read. I loved the two main characters and was really cheering them on hoping they would get their Christmas happy ever after. Mia Michaels and Noah Erickson first met as teenagers whilst they both lived in Crystal Rock and attended the local music camp one summer. Mia is determined to have a career in music whilst Noah although being both musical and a scholar, is going to be enlisting in the Air Force to help support his grandparents who have raised him. One Christmas Mia and Noah arranged a romantic rendezvous at Mistletoe Lodge before Noah is sent to Iraq but Mia’s overly controlling father sabotages their plans. Six years later and having escaped from her father Mia returns to Crystal Rock to learn that Noah, now Lieutenant Noah Erikson never stopped loving her. However, over the years Mia has given up on love and so Noah needs to break through Mia’s hardened heart if they are to spend Christmas and forever together. The storyline flows well and the descriptive narrative brings both the setting of Crystal Rock and the characters to life which gave me the feeling of being immersed in the story. I found Mia and Noah likeable and relatable characters and their chemistry really came across in the story. The novel was full of the Christmas spirit and left me with a real feel good feeling. A lovely read.

Tamara Ferguson once again brings us a wonderful happily ever after story. A Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon is the 4th book in her Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock N Sweet series. Like many of her stories, it takes place in Crystal Rock, with overlapping characters and locations. However, the book can be enjoyed as a stand alone. This book focuses on Mia and Noah, in their junior and senior years of high school. It is a clean sweet romantic story about finding your first love and perhaps soul mate in your high school sweetheart. The characters are all great, like always. I love Ferguson’s writing style- as its very relatable and real life stories. This book has a happily ever after. I recommend this book for a quick good read.

It has been a long time since I have read something by Tamara Ferguson but as expected, she did not disappoint with a Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon. While this is the fourth story in the Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock ‘N Sweet romance series, it is the first I have read. This is a great standalone read.
I enjoyed the story from the start, finding the young characters to be sweet and enjoyable. I loved the way the author wrote chapters from both Noah and Mia’s perspective. While so many authors use this writing style, something about this felt unique. I enjoyed the roles of the supporting characters almost as much as both Mia and Noah and really felt drawn to Amanda, as subtle as her character was.
I would give a Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon 4 out of 5 stars.

This is another sweet and romantic story by Tamara Ferguson. I really love her stories as she really bring the characters to life and the  emotion she puts into her books is beautiful.

In this story we meet Mia and Noah. They are teenagers in love but with Mia’s father not allowing them to be together and Noah  leaving for the Air Force they go their separate ways. Is young love everlasting?

Fast forward 6 years and Mia is finally away from her controlling father. She has a successful career and she travels back to Crystal Rock. While she is there she bumps into Noah again. Have the feelings between them lasted all these years? Did Noah stop loving Mia or did he carry his love for her all these years? Can Mia learn to trust him again and give them a chance or are they destined to have another blue Christmas without each other and alone.

As always another wonderful read from Ms Ferguson. I absolutely love reading books by this author, I always feel like I am right there with the characters and I loved Mia and Noah’s story. Both characters were deep and complex but so wonderful to read about. There path to being together wasn’t smooth one with Mia’s controlling father but I was rooting for them the whole way through, in my opinion they were perfect for each other.
As always the authors writing is engaging and my interest is held from beginning to end. I love that even after so many books her characters and storylines are always different.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon is the fourth book in the Daydreams and Dragonflies Rock ‘N’ Sweet Romance series by Tamara Ferguson.
This book can be read as a standalone story, but I would definitely recommend starting at book one, just because this is a series that I have enjoyed so much and I feel that knowing the back story and knowing more about the background of where the book is set has really added to this enjoyment.
In this story, we meet Mia and Noah. Their talent and love of music bring the pair together at the famous music camp in Crystal Rock. They soon become more than just friends, but a disapproving father and family duties to honour mean that their love story is not a smooth one.

As with the other books in this series I was hooked by the sweet characters and storyline. I feel like I know Crystal Rock pretty well now which makes this series so much more enjoyable. The author brings this location to life with familiar faces and new sweet characters, I’m looking forward to revisiting soon.

If there is one thing, I know with certainty is that I am never disappointed in any book that I have read by Tamara. When I see her name, I jump at the chance to get my hands on it. I have said it before, but I have yet to read a story I have not fallen in love with and the sexy men and equally strong women. This is another wonderful story in her series of books centred around Wounded Warriors and Crystal Rock, the most magical place when it comes to love.

When Noah sees Mia, he is instantly taken with her, he even serenades her. But her father puts a stop to their relationship fast. Fast forward six years, Mia is finally away from her father and returning back to Crystal Rock. What will she think when she finds out that Noah has never stopped loving her? A Kiss Under a Blue Christmas Moon is the fourth book in Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock ‘N Sweet Romance series by Tamara Ferguson. It is a sweet, heart-warming, and very enjoyable contemporary romance- with a little drama, angst, emotion, music, and more.
I have read most of Ms. Ferguson’s books now, and am always quite excited to get my hands on her new release/s as I am intrigued to see what she has in store for us each and every time.
This book was everything I have come to expect from Ms. Ferguson- a really well written and charming story- with wonderful characters who not only have depth, but are also realistic, relatable, and entirely connectable.
And as with her other books, Ms. Ferguson’s warm and inviting style easily pulled me into her story, coaxing me along for the ride. Sprinkle in a little bit of Christmas magic- and this story is a must-read for any second chance romance lover.

Thank you, Tamara Ferguson!

Running In Snow: A Holiday Novella by Renee Regent is a super quick read and is made up of two short stories in which are set around Christmas and New Years. I found myself lost in the pages and truly enjoyed both stories and was wishing they were longer. In the first story Noelle’s Promise we have Noelle she hates the holidays but has promised her boyfriend and lilly his daughter that she will spend the Holiday them. She makes it through the party until a family member gets loud which brings back memories from her childhood. What does the future hold for Noelle? In the second story Eve’s Hope. Eve doesn’t like the holiday either and New Year’s eve is no exception. But when her heat goes out she accepts her neighbors invite over to his party. This is a lovely read for the holiday season, with two heartwarming tales to get you in the mood (plus there’s snow!). Although a quick story with little plot, the way the backstories of the main characters were revealed and the way this played out into the character development was delightful. This was a warm book and super quick and easy to read. I would have loved them to be a bit longer. Nevertheless, the characters were relatable and well-written, and the stories were interesting. These two stories were the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. The author did a wonderful job illustrating how past experiences should not dictate current life experiences, which is a great lesson for readers to learn. The first character Noelle had to overcome her past anxieties to be able to celebrate new traditions with her boyfriend. I feel like I related with Noelle the most because I also deal with anxiety and the holiday season can be a very trying time. The second character Eve had to learn how to break her holiday bad luck by going to her neighbor’s New Years Eve party. These two stories were a quick afternoon read that left me feeling uplifted and in the holiday spirit.

Running In Snow consists of two short, sweet novellas that I thoroughly enjoyed! It was absolutely perfect for a quick afternoon reading break!

Story One is Noelle’s Promise. This is about a woman who had something bad happen as a child that resulted in her never, ever celebrating Christmas in any way. She avoids all this Christmas cheer like it’s the plague! This year, against her better judgement, she has agreed to spend the holiday with her boyfriend and his family. Can she get through one week without being overwhelmed with tragic memories? Can she get through one week without making these people think she’s completely crazy??? Noelle and Logan are such a great couple!

Story Two is Eve’s Hope. This is about a woman who swears she is cursed and refuses to leave the house on New Year’s Eve and refuses to drive ANYWHERE in the snow! So what is a girl to do when her heater breaks in the middle of a freak Atlanta snowstorm that happens to be on New Year’s Eve??? Head over to the HOT neighbor’s house is what! Will her curse continue or will things change at the stroke of midnight?

Both of these stories were beautifully written and pulled me in. You know it’s a great story when you are completely absorbed in it and can feel an emotional pull to the characters in a book that only takes about an hour to read! These stories will leave you with feelings of hope and happiness which is something we can all use this time of year and always!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Noelle has faced a tragedy at a young age that has left her a bit anxious about the holidays as she’s gotten older. For her, they hold very bad memories along with the wish to just skip them altogether. She’s been lucky enough to have met a man who not only respects her wishes but doesn’t push to hear the reasons behind it. Within a visit to his family during the holidays she is confronted with her past, faced with the reality of what the bitterness and sadness can do to her in time as well as how deep her love runs for her boyfriend. Can that love help her overcome the bad?

Eve has had a good life, enjoying her relationship, work and is happy. But new years eve has been a day of unease for her since she was dumped. She’s content with keeping to herself on that day and hiding from the world. Instead, her house works against her and makes it difficult. When she decides to take a chance with an offer to spend time with her neighbor it isn’t what she expected. She’s faced with yet another bad memory in the making, realizes she misjudged and has to decide if its time to turn it all around. Can she open up her heart again to find a happy memory?

With short stories its sometimes difficult to capture the true essence of a character’s story from the background, to the present. However, I didn’t experience any lacking of depth in either story. I felt a connection to them both of the women, they’ve had to conquer some pretty bad moments. I loved their journey and had a few aww moments along with a tear or two for Noelle. This may be a quick read, but it’s such a good one! It’s the perfect pairing for some hot cocoa, a blanket, the book and some quiet. Which is exactly what I did.

Running In Snow, A Holiday Novella by Renee Regent.
This was a novella made up of two short stories that take place on Christmas and New Years Eves. My only issue with reading a novella is that I never get enough.

Noelle’s Promise
Noelle has vowed not to celebrate the holidays again except now she has Logan in her life. Now she will be spending Christmas with Logan and his family. Can her holiday be happy or will her memories come back and ruin it for her.

Eve’s Hope
Eve doesn’t like New Years, it is always an unlucky night for her. When an unforeseen incident happens and she end up at her neighbors before midnight, will this be a New Years Eve to remember or will her bad luck strike again?

This novella was a quick, wonderful read. I enjoyed it a lot.

2 short novellas by Renee Regent will leave you with a smile on your face. Both of these novellas are sweet happy reads just in times for Christmas that you will love

Noelle has had a rule to never celebrate Christmas since she was a little girl. She never does gift exchanges with friends or coworkers but this year she was invited to her boyfriends family celebration. She feels a bit uncomfortable for a little while until the moment arises and she goes running. To many memories are brought back to the surface and she cannot handle it. Will she make it back to Logan and have a happy ending or was this trip a big mistake. Loved this book. Loved the characters…and you will too!

Eve’s Hope
Last year Eve had a horrible New Year’s Eve so this year she plans on staying home in comfy clothes watching an X-Files marathon. Now she finds herself bundled up in her warmest clothes including a parka because she has no heat and no one is able to come fix it for her. Suddenly, her hot neighbor knocks on the door and invites her over to his house for a little get together. She wants to decline because it is a last minute invite but at least he has working heat.
The last person she expects to see over at Kirks house is a guy she had spent a night with not to long ago. She tries hiding from him but somehow he found her and was harassing her about getting together again. Can this New Year’s Eve get any worse? Sure it can but it can also get a lot better.

2 great reads you will be glad you read. Renee Regent is an amazing author and these novellas are no different from her great writing style.

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is getting to devour sweet and soul-warming novellas that center around the magic of the season. Running In Snow: A Holiday Novella, is just that. Two heart and soul warming short stories that bring to life the promise of hope. I loved that these books were taken from the experiences of the author and spun into the stories. It made them seem just a little bit more magical.

Noelle’s Promise:
This lovely novella brings us the story of Noelle. Noelle has a history of bad Christmas memories and is determined to avoid celebrating the holiday forever. Things soon start to look like that is not going to be an option since she has developed a relationship with her boyfriend Logan. Him and his family convince her to give it one more shot. Nothing of course comes easy and the past begins to rear its ugly head. Will Noelle run and avoid the feelings that come to head or will she face the past long enough to bury it and start anew? This was a sweet and short novella, almost making me want a tad more. I think a lot of that has to do with how much I enjoyed Noelle’s character. I feel like she has even more story in her, or just maybe one with a tad more detail, but for the holiday novella idea this covers everything.

Eve’s Hope:
Eve of course is the main gal for this novella. She was a bit more light-hearted of a read. Even doesn’t enjoy New Year’s Eve, in fact she thinks the whole thing is just jinxed for her and she does everything in her power to keep herself in a safe and neutral space for this one evening. Of course we need a sweet twist to make that interesting so things don’t quite go as Eve had hoped they would. Will she be able to embrace the ideas of NYE and start new memories that will be worth celebrating? I think this one has to be my favorite of the two and again I would have to say I would love more of Eve as well.

This is a super quick and easy holiday read. The holidays are always stressful, more so when you’ve suffered a traumatic event so close to them. In this novella, we have 2 stories-2 women, 2 holidays, 2 horrific past events. Each woman comes full circle and gets her happy ending after confronting the issues that keep her from fully healing. Great job. 5 stars.
