Fantastic! I really enjoy that while this is a series, it can be read as a standalone. I couldn’t put it down once I started and devoured it in one day. I enjoyed the dynamics between Ella and Jared so much. The characters and plot were both great. I look forward to reading more of this series.

I really enjoy that while this is a series, each book I have read can be read as a standalone. I read this in one day and enjoyed it until the very end, but I felt like the ending was rushed compared to how well-written and developed the rest of the story was. Overall, I would recommend this book.

This is the fifth book in the series but can definitely be read as a standalone. This book pulled me in from the beginning and I finished it so fast!
Lily is used to people using her for her money and connections. She just wants to find someone to connect with. She offers up a date for a charity auction. The problem: the person she should be meeting doesn’t show up! Is anyone worth the effort at this point? Rhys hasn’t been ready to date and he certainly isn’t about to start with a rockstar. Especially one like Lily. That is until he realizes he may have pegged her wrong. After spending some time together, Rhys and Lily realize they don’t want it to end. What will happen when their feelings are tested?
I really enjoyed this book. It was different than most rockstar tropes I’ve read and it was refreshing. Rhys grew as a character pretty quickly and you could see that change. Their chemistry was very evident! I highly recommend this book!

5 Stars Doctor Frank Enstein (Doctors of Eastport General) by C.A. King
Doctor Frank Enstein (Doctors of Eastport General) is a wonderfully written Contemporary Romance that once you start reading there’s no putting it down until you’ve finished. I pretty much devoured this book in one sitting. I’m a huge of this author and have read several books by her but this one definitely tops my favorite yet list. This is Frank and Barbara’s story. Dr. Frank Enstein is a Plastic Surgeon who wants to helpmake a difference in his patients lives. He has the passion but he lacks the proper bedside manner and doesn’t always make a good first impression. Barba just wants to feel normal and hopes Frank can her with that. She’s not impressed with him at firsy but man the chemistry between them sizzles. These two are such well developed characters that make the story come to life. Can Frank help her to feel normal? I highly recommend reading this fast paced story to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Lily Tyler is a rock star. Rhys Jones is IT support.
A charity auction date caused their paths to cross’. Rhys had stood Lilly up twice, so she had gone to his house to find out why. Something between them sparked her interest, and Rhys offered to go to a coffee shop. Despite being escorted by Noel, Lily’s bodyguard, Rhys’ niece, Sienna, interferes with their date. Lily doesn’t get upset and even promises to appear at Sienna’s birthday party. Rhys has a confidence issue since he divorced after catching his wife and best friend sleeping together. He offers to take Lily on a proper date. The second was in a private room in a Japanese restaurant and both of them agreed to continue their dates. The only problem is Lily is going on an international tour in two weeks. Can they manage a long distance relationship or avoid becoming emotionally attached?

Dr Enstein has tunnel vision. He has always had an agenda for his life. Well at least since the traumatic event when he was a child. When he was presented to run his own trauma center at the local hospital he jumps on it. While out with his co-workers he encounters Barbara the bartender. Dr. Enstein first meeting with Barbara did not go well. He was rude and at the 2nd encounter with her he starts to feel bad. As time goes on he realizes while he cannot personally help Barbara his old partner could. As time goes on, he realizes he has fallen for Barbara and she is what he wants.
As I read this story, my heart broke for not only the kid but the man he had become. I could only imagine how traumatized any one would be. The author pulls on your heart with trauma, love, and determination. Teaches you not to judge someone by their appearance.

I really enjoy reading books by this author. Braving Lily was no exception. It was wonderful! It makes you feel happy, sad, disappointed, ect. The author sets you up like an amusement park ride. You wait in line, you get one the ride, then you’re off on an adventure. Lily is a pop/rock star who has anything but a normal life. She wants love, happiness, stability, and most importantly privacy. But how can she do that when she’s always been hounded by paparazzi. Maybe auctioning a date with her for charity would do the trick. That was till the date didn’t show. Rhys is a man who doesn’t want to be back in the dating world, despite his mother’s insistence. His wife and best friend betrayed him, why would he want to go through that again? When his mother ambushes him with a popstar, he doesn’t want to waste his time. Well that was till she showed on his doorstep demanding to know why he stood her up. After reluctantly offering to go for coffee out of guilt, he never expected that one hour could change his life. They both saw each other for who they were and not the persona they needed to present. She was leaving soon and he wanted more time, so how does this work? The author takes the reader on a journey of healing and acceptance, for both parties. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. Yes, I said series. However these books read very well as standalone novels as well. So don’t hesitate to jump in!

This book is the latest in the series and is a great addition. I loved the two main characters and the chemistry between them. On paper, they really shouldn’t have worked so well and yet you could not deny the pull between them. I thought the story suited them perfectly and I wanted to see how things would turn out. This is still a relatively new author to me and I have really enjoyed getting familiar with her writing style. The pacing of her books is good and I find myself connecting with the storylines with ease. I am definitely looking forward to reading more of her work.

This story follows Lily, a rockstar known for leading the band The Brightside, and Rhys, a ‘normal’ IT guy who she’s set up on a date with. They’re complete opposites and both think there’s no chance they could get along, but apparently, opposites attract. They fall in love, but will those differences come in between them? My favourite character is Lily because she’s a badass rockstar and also a sweetheart, and my least favourite character is Sherry for breaking poor Rhys’ heart. I recommend this book because it’s a beautiful opposites-attract romance, a pure love story where two people meet unconventionally, think they have nothing in common but it turns out they have unbelievable chemistry. I think I’ll have to read the rest of Morgana Bevan’s work! ‘And I knew, no matter how our brief time ended, I would always cherish our stolen moments together.’

This was a great 5 star novella. I loved Frank and Barbara. Their story pulls you right in. We get some steamy moments among other things. All of the other characters added a great element to the story. I also had some LOL moments as well. You could feel the connection between the couple coming off the pages as their story progressed. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I can’t wait to read more from this series and author. 1-click and get started today.

Rae does her friend a favour and does an interview with a home designer , thing is when she gets there said home owner is there and he’s not very welcoming to say the least but for the sake of his sister Kay he “tolerates” his house guest for the weekend and it pays off well for Kay and him in the long run …, the very long and beautiful run …😉
Dean is a delicious and delectable speciMAN but a little jaded after being left at the altar and he’s met his match with Rae though and she gives as good as she gets and the 2 of them had me in stitches in the beginning with their banter …
Rae didn’t have the best childhood and after her mum dies her grandparents raised her so after they passed on she essentially had no family so her friends are her family and she’s especially close to Brandon and has even travelled with him and his band I really felt I could identify with Rae on a few things like the loss of her mother and her thoughts on friends being family and the fact that a man and a woman can be friends without romantic attachments ….
Dean and Rae are good together and Rae has a big heart , Dean needs to sort his “demons” Pune gore he looses the best thing that came into his life and he can thank his lucky stars for a friend like Chris and Brandon that’s so gracious and becomes a friend …..
The people working for Dean may be old but they’re wise and I just love his driver and wanted to hug him he’s a real sweetheart 🥰 all in all he had a loving tribe and his family is warm and loving and they adore Rae and they’re just what she needs ❣️I fell in love with Rae and Dean and yes I wanted to shake him a little but he does come to his sense and they have their HEA but I want to see Brandon get his HEA…… looking for to His Forever Muse

This story was fantastic to read. I love it when there are multiple characters vying for one main character and there is no having to choose. Brooklyn is a very complex woman. She has gone through some stuff and seen some stuff. She’s running from everything that makes her feel because it’s easier to handle In walks Aiden, Gideon, Oliver, Jaxon, and her world is about to turn topsy turvy. They push her boundaries and make her feel things she’d rather not feel anymore, and confront her darkest secrets. The chemistry between the 5 of them is undeniable and so well balanced out. There’s no favoritism, everyone has their balance and it works. Brooklyn’s story has kept me captivated and wanting more. I can’t wait to see what happens in book two and where the guys take her.

Brooklyn Reeves is thinking of ditching her best friend for a quite night in as Clubs is really not her scene, but the more Ash pushes her she is succumbing to the idea, plus it is one of the hottest clubs in town Club 4.
Once inside she feels eyes upon her not in a creepy way but a sexual chemistry kind of way until she is introduced to not but two good looking men, once on the dance floor she is covered with warm and trust with these two men and ask it becomes more intense she realises what she is doing and runs away in embarrassment.
Jaxson and Oliver are part of the “Club Kings” four brothers who forged a family from trust and courage not blood, but when they see the blonde walk in the club they are instantly drawn to her. As they have shared in the past this is nothing different but they have a deep feeling of protection for this beautiful woman, until she gets scared and runs from them. Week’s of trying to find her comes to nothing until one chance meeting may change there and the other brother’s lives forever.
They know she is hiding a secret but will they uncover it and can Brooklyn trust her attraction for all four of the men and will she let her guard down enough to live life.
This is the first book I have read but this author and oh my what a read. I always love a flawed character and this book had lots of them, the four men together have forged a bond of survival which plays into each character and shows each are loyal to the end for each other and there charges which was brilliant to read. I especially loved the character of Brooklyn with her visible and hidden scars which seemed to make her more determined to carry on with life even at times she struggled with anxiety but not letting it become her was a brilliant lesson to learn.
There are triggers in this book and if you are uncomfortable with aspects of mental abuse and stalking I may caution you alittle bit with the storyline, but overall the writing was brilliant it draws you into the story and makes you believe you are part of the world and invested in the characters as this is book 1 I can’t wait to get my teeth into the next instalment.

From the moment their eyes they see each other something changes and I think it’s for the better.
Brooklyn has her professional life in order, she is in charge for a large non profit. Her personal life is not nearly as in order. She has one close friend and a closet full of secrets.
The guys are Oliver, Jaxon, Gideon & Aiden the Knight Bothers who have built themselves into something impressive. They started with nothing but one another as kids, bow as adults they still have one another and so much more.
The sparks fly from the pages as you’re reading this book starting in Chapter One and the heat only continues to rise from there.
I already have the next book on my TBR and will be reading it as soon as possible.

Brooklyn is isolating herself at home and not living her life to the fullest and prefers it that way. Her best friend has a celebration at a club and Brooklyn has no choice but to go. This book absolutely blew me away and I loved every second of it!! I haven’t read anything by this author before so I went in not expecting too much from the storyline, but WOW was I proven wrong! Brooklyn has been through a lot in her life and assumes that surface level relationships are all she’s worthy of. Little does she know that there are two incredible (and hot) men that are ready to show her that she has so much to experience and love about herself. If you love why choose romances with TONS of spice and steam, this is the perfect book for you! It has a great storyline, in-depth characters, drama, and did I mention steamy scenes? I just picked up the second in the series as I cannot wait to see what this marvelous author has in store for us next!

This is the first book in The Club Kings Series and wow it is hot! Brooklyn has a lot in her past that makes her not trust easily. She is just lucky to be alive after all that she has been through. When she meets The 4 Knights they are very much her knights in, well not shining armor but in well made suits. This is a why choose romance and I can see where it would be hard to choose between these 4 men. I can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens next.

We are met with Brooklyn, who, despite her past is making huge strides in her life. Then we are met with our “four knights” Aiden, Oliver, Gideon, and Jaxon, who are making Brooklyn question everything she knew. THIS ENDS ON CLIFFHANGER, but I am here for it and cannot wait to continue!

First of all, let me start by saying that this book comes with a trigger warning that definitely should not be taken lightly. However, having said this, I completely loved this story. I think it was very well written. It is super steamy and spicy for sure! I will say I was not expecting to be taken on this emotional roller coaster. I knew that this book would pack on the steam but I did not expect to have all the feels. Brooklyn is truly an amazing character who has overcome so much but who has also built up so many walls to keep herself safe. However, the walls she has built around her will never be tall enough, she just doesn’t realize this. She meets some amazing club owners who begin to convince her to let her guard down. Who also share a background not so different from hers. The truth is – she needs them and they need her. There is so much in this story that it is nearly impossible to put down until the very end and it leaves you wanting so much more!

I had many emotions reading this book. Brooklyn had worked super hard to get were she is at today. She had a very hard past. Her abusive ex is released from jail, now she has to watch every turn she makes. She meets Oliver and Jaxon while out with a friend. They happen to be donors of her business. The brothers have also had a rough past. Sparks start to fly the more she gets to know the boys. She also meets Gideon and Aiden, together the boys make the Four Knights. She relies on the of the boys to help protect her for her ex. The boys don’t mind at all protecting her. This book was not the story I was expecting to read, it was way better.

Steamy? – check! Why choose? – check! Multiple POVs? – check! 4 insanely scrumptiously hot men and 1 gorgeous woman with them all to herself? – check! This book was everything I never knew I wanted and more. Add in a great plot line, descriptions (peep those spicy scenes), and character development and you’ve got almost 400 pages of can’t-put-down goodness! Charlotte St. Pierre makes you feel all the feels in this book and I cannot wait to get my hands on the second one! (Thank goodness it’s out!) This is a book you definitely want to read right now (or at least add it to your TBR so you don’t forget!) It does end on a cliffhanger BUT Book 2 is already out so you can just go right in to the next one! So glad I picked this up!

Follow your heart, even if it takes you all the way to Las Vegas.
For precisely $102 dollars, Mitch Benson and Lauren Templeton marry in a 15-minute ceremony inside a little Las Vegas chapel. Soulmates since elementary school, nothing makes more sense than eloping to Sin City for a secret wedding.
But seven years later, the brilliant glare from the city of lights has faded.
Scratch that. The bulbs are burnt out.
In fact, the wiring may have been faulty all along.
Bitterly accepting that their marriage is coming to an end, Mitch and Lauren stray further and further from the love that once blossomed on the playground of their youth.
Lauren sells her soul to Pier Ninety-Two, her once-fabulous restaurant in downtown Los Angeles now a sad shadow in the Saturday night party scene. And Mitch falls into the arms—er, legs—of none other than childhood enemy, Tess Browning.
Devastated by the direction their love has spiraled, Mitch and Lauren make one last trip to the city of second chances, hoping to turn their pennies into the million-dollar love they once shared.
Will their last roll be a miracle—or a mirage—in the desert?

I absolutely loved the Hawke Family series by this author. When I saw there was a spin-off, I quickly got to reading.
This novel picks up 5 years after the events of Night Hawke. Isaac and Jack still think about the time they spent together and although Isaac tried to find her after, he was unsuccessful. Fate brings the two back together with secrets and identities now revealed.
While I did not read the prequel to this, I did not feel lost while reading. Reading Night Hawke would have given more character depth and background for the characters, making this more impactful but I enjoyed the story and romance overall. I do plan on reading it.
It did take me some time to associate the name Jack with our female heroine because I am used to it being used for male characters, but once I did, I found that I really liked the character and started associating her with the phrase ‘a Jack of all trades’ which I think kinda fits.
The author has a way of using suspense to grip you where you can’t put the book down which is another really why I love her so much. She quickly started to become one of my favorite authors. I may need to binge read some of her other novels while I wait for the next book in this series.

This was a great 5 star read. It was a rollercoaster of a ride with everything going on. Brooklyn is a hard worker with a traumatic history. Brooklyn meets Oliver and Jaxon one night at a club. Fate steps in and they see each other again, this time there is more interaction and sparks fly between them. When Brooklyn starts getting dangerous threats, the Four Knights help her. Will they be able to keep her safe? Overall this was an edge of your seat read. I really liked how the guys got protective of Brooklyn and wanted to help her. My emotions were all over the place as well, they get you in the feels with their stories. All the characters added a great element to the story. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today.

This book had me completely captivated right from the very start and proved to be so, so much more than I could have ever predicted. Brooklyn has had such a very cruel past and because of that she avoids real love and relationships then along comes the 4 Knight brothers who are bound so strongly by much more than just blood ever would. They are drawn to Brooklyn and are determined to show her what love can truly do. They will do anything they have to in order to keep her safe when her past comes back to threaten her! This was a creative storyline that had me eagerly turning page after page but what truly had me completely hooked was the amazing characters created by this extremely talented author. They weaved their way into my heart and held on tight! I can’t wait for more! There is so very much I need to know. I don’t just want to know what is going to happen for them all but I NEED to know.

Brooklyn is a tough survivor, raised in the fostor system; got serious with a boyfriend who ended up attempting to kill her. She avoids anything romantic related at this point in her life. She’s worked hard to become a director of a non profit, and her roommate is going away for a couple months on a work assignment so they go out for the night to a club. Brooklyn (and let’s be honest also myself) was not prepared for the instant red hot chemistry between her and two of the “club kings”. They make her feel things and she runs… but they aren’t about to let her slip away. This book had red hot smexy scenes, Romance and action when the past comes calling for Brooklyn once again. This is an absolute can’t miss book!
