Echoing Hearts is a wonderful modern romance. This story is of love, friendship, trust and heartbreak, is very relatable. The characters are beautifully written and the banter between Rae and Dean is perfect. These two who come from different back rounds are more alike than they’d admit. Their story was a page-turner from beginning to end.

Alam – Review by Diane Sennett
Ella’s sister, Chrissy, has recently died and Ella has been left to raise her young niece on her own. Ella loves Tessa as her own child and has helped to raise her since she was a baby because Chrissy was too sick to care for her on her own. Ella is still coming to terms with the death of her sister when she receives a letter summoning her to Taylor law to discuss paternity and custody of Tessa. Ella is in shock over the letter and is scared to death of losing Tessa.
When Ella arrives at the law office of Jacob Taylor, she is expecting to meet him alone but instead finds him sitting with an older gentleman. It turns out the older man is the father to the man Chrissy has stated was Tessa’s father, Drew Browning. Ella is shocked when news is revealed to her of a letter that her sister Chrissy was supposed to have written to Drew prior to her death. It seems that her sister had some secrets that she kept well hidden from Ella.
Jake has the best interests of his aunt and uncle at heart and thinks that Ella is trying to con them by saying his cousin, Drew, is Tessa’s biological father. Before they have even determined that Tessa is their granddaughter the Browning’s develop an attachment to the young girl and this concerns Jake. He thinks that Ella is lying and will do everything in his power to protect them from getting hurt and conned. Drew only wants to exploit his relationship with Tessa for his own selfish gain. As secrets are revealed and things ensue Ella and Jake are on opposite sides of a custody battle for Tessa. Both Ella and Jake want to protect Tessa but that becomes complicated by their undeniable attraction to one another.
This book had an overwhelming theme of the love of a family and never giving up. Ella loves her niece as her own child and will do anything to protect her. Jake loves his aunt and uncle and will do anything to keep them from getting hurt. Both Ella and Jake want what is best for young Tessa but Jake is conflicted between the love of his family and the love of a woman. Will he be able to make the right decision? There was a rollercoaster ride of emotions throughout as the story unfolded and secrets are revealed. I highly recommend!

I know this isn’t on the author but I’d like to warn other readers. On my phone, the formate is an eyesore. There’s no space between the chapter number and the paragraph, making it look like it was part of the sentence. However, on my kindle the pages were normal and better to read. I will admit I judged this book on its cover, even after reading it the photograph doesn’t match the characters to me. At least not for Rae, but I really loved the story. I swooned over Dean. When he wanted to spend the day with her to just get her out of his system and then telling her that he’d be thinking about her all day if they didn’t, I was like even thinking, ‘I would spend the day with this man.’ I loved Rae’s character, she was her own person, sure, most independent women written in books have a thing against love but that wasn’t her personality. She has a going with the flow vibe, who might push away men but hasn’t signed off on them completely. Spoiler, the story does end in a happy ending. Which I wasn’t a fan of. Not that they’re happy, I’m glad they are but it felt unrealistic to me considering they just had a breakup over trust issues. Other than that I still loved the adventure these two had together.

Rae Allen has everything she wants in life, her dream job which takes her all over the world reviewing the best hotels and resorts, but when she is begged by a friend to cover a story regarding local architecture she jumps at the chance to review the house and its on her way back home.
Arriving at the house she is amazed by the sheer beauty of the surrounding area, but when she knocks the door and no one answers she investigates around the back and is stopped in her tracks by the most handsome man she has seen, but that all fades when he opens his mouth and he becomes an ass.
Dean is recovering from a heartbreak which happened three years earlier, sworn off relationships but when Rae stumbled into his life he knew she was different. When he becomes in the friends zone he tries to make he see that they could be much more, when one night sparks fly and there is no going back. Can Dean get over the past and can Rae trust he really has feelings for her, you will have to read to find out.
I loved these characters from the start of the story. The story is complex and well written with the suspension of will they, won’t they but you are so drawn to the characters that you want everything to work out. I loved the Rae character and her fierce independence which is refreshing sometimes in a romance novel but she gives as good as she gets to Dean. I loved the dynamic between Dean’s family and the way they are as a family was brilliant.
I liked the way the author always drew in the element of friends can be just as close as family and the relationship between Rae and Brandon was written brilliantly. I can’t wait to read the next book and see if Brandon gets his love and fairy-tale that he so desperately wants.

Wow, did this book play out into a book that is everything. Jack and Nolan aka Mina and Isaac, their story is everything and the prequal barely touched the surface. I don’t want to share any spoilers. They do have their daughter, Vivi, and I can see her in my head while reading. This beautiful little girl with caribbean blue eyes like her daddy and the smartest little thing. Jack comes from a loving family but I definitely didn’t see coming what was laid out in this book. Isaac’s back story was a bit more forthcoming in the prequel. There was action, comedy, suspense, romance, an amazing family dynamic. The dinner and Nana’s was awesome and so funny. My last tid bit is will there be a next book on Jude……? I really want to know his story.

A beautiful love story between two people who were not looking for love, but have been missing it their whole life. Jake is a cowboy rancher who has never been in love. Lily is a lovely English woman who moved out to a small country town in the US from London to find herself and her past. With Jake’s sister in the middle as Lily’s new BFF, this story is so fun, loving, and absolutely enjoyable for everybody to read.

Wow this book was so good! I have read other books by this author and once I saw this one, I knew that I had to read this too! I could not put this book down! I felt as if I was a part of the story and not just sitting there in my office at work reading. I cannot wait to read the next book that comes out in this series to read as it was such a great book to read!!

This is such a good book! I truly enjoyed the characters and have to say these are some of the most detailed characters I have ever read. This is the second book in the series, however, it definitely can be read without reading the first one. However, I recommend reading the first one just so you gain a better appreciation for the Bennet family and what all they have been through. This book has the perfect happy ending and definitely leaves me wanting more (in the best way possible).

As always, this is a Hawke family book that does not disappoint. This is the first book in the Hawke Family Second Generation series. However, it does contain some of the characters in the original series. This book also has a prequel, it is not necessary to read it to understand this book, it just demonstrates the amount of chemistry between MIna and Isaac. This chemistry was absolutely undeniable and continues in this book. Isaac is a man who will do anything to protect his family but in this book the danger is so close. I definitely recommend this book, just as much as I have recommended every other book by Gwyn McNamee.

Let me start out by saying that this is the second installment of this amazing series, and I highly suggest you take the time to read Jake! This book focuses on Evan, who we meet in the first book of the series. Evan is a silent backer of a dating business called “Blind Date”, which is owned by Kayla, a wonderful woman we also met in the first installment. Kayla and Evan have a good friendship, but that seems to be all, at least on the surface. Evan’s friends talk him into trying out the Blind Date, just as he had talked his friend Jake into doing. The rules stayed the same, four women would be chosen, one by each of Evan’s friends, and he would go on a blind date with all of them. Evan has a terrible experience with the first two dates, but the third seems so right to him, that he feels almost comfortable, almost familiar. This is an amazing short and beautiful read, and I highly recommend that you take the time to read the first installment and keep your eyes open for the third book! I’ll be impatiently awaiting its release! <3

With plenty of steamy scenes and twists and turns to keep you pulled in, this book is one of the best I’ve read so far this year. Giacomina Marconi is awakened and rushed out of the only home she and her daughter, Viviana know and unceremoniously dropped into the laps of the Hawke family she had previously only known by reputation. What Mina doesn’t know until that moment is the family is also that of the man who fathered her daughter on a long ago weekend away with only fake names and more steamy time together. Mina’s mom runs one of the mafia families of Chicago, while Isaac’s family is legitimate, but has some…questionable business interests and ties.

Shameless Love is the second book in The Bennetts of Langston Falls Series by K.G Fletcher. I have read and LOVED all her books- and she is on my automatic one-click, no questions asked author list- so it was a given that I would snap up a copy of this latest release and I was really excited to dive in and immerse myself in the story. As expected from Ms. Fletcher, the story and characters were fantastic and comes with an emotional wallop that I’ve come to expect from her. She has a knack for making my heart ache and go pitter-pat all at the same time. It’s a wonderful, contemporary opposites attract romance with plenty of emotion, small town, chemistry, sizzle, forced proximity, family, finding love unexpectedly, and more. Can’t wait for the next instalment! Happy Reading!

Ruthless Hawke is the first book in the new Hawke Family Second Generation series by Gwyn McNamee. It follows on from Night Hawke (the prequel) and is every bit as brilliant as I thought it would be, and then some. But we are talking Gwyn McNamee here- and she sets the bar incredibly high, so this book/series was always going to be stellar! But even knowing and expecting greatness, she still blew me away!! As I mentioned in my review for Night Hawke, which is where we first meet Isaac and Jack, I am a HUGE fan of the original Hawke series….. so I was really excited when I discovered Ms. McNamee had plans for this second-generation series. I absolutely FLOVE the original Hawkes with such a fiery passion, but this new series- starting with Isaac and Jack- OMG #newobsession #addicted #needmoreSTAT- this book is EVERYTHING!!!! And finding the family tree at the beginning- made my heart so happy- and I am beyond excited for the (potential)l books to come!!!! Seriously, I cannot recommend this book/series/author highly enough! You NEED this book in your life. Bring on Reticent Hawke (Book #2) Happy Reading…

The first full novel for the second generation did not disappoint. The number of twists and turns made this a fast-paced exciting book. I do recommend reading the prequel to this book first as it makes each revelation all the more shocking. I loved how action-packed this book was while maintaining an air of sexiness. I also enjoyed seeing how the first generation grew up and continued to work together, all while still embracing those that are blood and those that are not. Proof that even the mob can not keep this family from keeping each other safe. I’m ready for the next book, especially with the final sentence

This was my first book from this author, but I am absolutely looking forward to reading her previous and future works. Overall I found this to be a very sweet and sexy romance novel with some suspense twisted within the story. Elyse and Walt were electric from the start and their chemistry was palatable from the moment they saw each other. I loved the secondary story line regarding his sister Becky’s online cooking show which helped bring them together. I thought Becky was a wonderful character and absolutely enhanced the story. The Bennetts of Langston Falls is definitely a wonderful series and I can’t wait to see what happens to the rest of the family. It’s an easy read that kept me reading straight through until the final page.

OMG I don’t think I can honestly come up with the right words to describe exactly how damn AMAZING this book is or how much I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! Sorry I know I am shouting but I just don’t know what else to do! 5 Stars just isn’t a high enough rating. I read the Prequel to this book and was not so patiently awaiting for the rest of the story. I just knew it had to be amazing and it in no way disappointed! I was completely hooked from the very first sentence until the very last word and I stayed up half the night to finish it because I simply could not Put it down. The chemistry between Issac and Mina (Jack) is indescribable and right from the start you want everything to work out for them. There are some great twists in the storyline that will keep you turning page after page and all the characters will tunnel into your heart. I can’t wait for more from this truly amazing series and this extremely talented and creative author.

This is the second book in the Langston Falls series and we follow Walt! This was such a great second book in the series. I do recommend reading the books in order so you can know the back story to the characters. Walt is still young and has a lot to learn but when he meets Elyse he is instantly attracted to her. Elyse being attracted to him finds ways to spend more time with him. Of course what would any romance be without bumps in the road. This book leads so seamlessly into the third book. I cannot wait to read Breathless Love next!

Shameless Love: A Small Town Opposites Attract Romance is the second book in The Bennetts of Langston Falls series. Walt is the brother who is fierce and will do anything to take care of those he loves. Elyse is a television producer who is helping his sister Becky find more success. This is a definite opposites attract story with sultry flames attached. I was excited to learn more about Walt after his introduction in the first book of the series and was not disappointed. Also, this can easily be read as a standalone book (but read the first one). I enjoyed the character of Elyse and how she became involved with the Bennett family. The tension between Walt and her was great. I look forward to the next book in this series and getting to know the Bennett’s a bit more.

Five years ago Isaac spent time with Jack and he has never been able to forget her. Now he is called in for a family matter and finds himself face to face with Jack again, only there are secrets that have not been revealed. Can they resist the chemistry around them when danger lurks?
Another wonderful story by this author. Sizzling chemistry. Isaac oozes charisma and power. I liked the fact that neither knew who each other were before thrown together. If you have not picked up series, this is one you will get hooked on quickly.

Gwyn does it every time. She is one of my all-time reads I really love her work. The book title is a very apt title. Ruthless Hawke can be read as a stand-alone. It is more than just a contemporary romance tale. Ruthless Hawke is the first book in The Hawke Family Second Generation Series but can be read as a stand-alone. It is a contemporary romance story that is full of tension and angst, secrets and lies, fear and danger and so much more. I love the characters in the first series and now the second generation are taking over and are just as loveable and sexy. He is a man who will do anything to protect his family and what they have built. When his past turns up he is in shock at what he finds. But danger is nipping at their heels. Can he keep it all safe without losing a thing? I can’t wait for more.

K.G. has never written a story that I have not fell in love with and Shameless Love book 2 in the The Bennetts of Langston Falls is another one on the list. It is a standalone book that is sexy and steamy and full of tension and angst. K.G. is one of my must read authors which shows the strength of her writing skills because I am a fussy reader. Langston Falls is a beautiful small-town tale and feels like the kind of place you would want to go and never return from. He never meant for it to happen. He doesn’t do relationships. Until her. She loves the city and he loves the country. She loves the fast life and he likes it slow. They will never work. Right? Well you will have to read it to find out. I look forward to the next Bennett story.

I honestly just absolutely adore this author. She creates the most amazing stories and characters and picking up one of her books is always a pleasure. I loved the first book in this series and couldn’t wait to get my hands on the next, Walt’s story. and as I expected it didn’t disappoint at all. Walt and Elyse were such amazing characters and the chemistry between them was on fire! I really liked Elyse, she was such a string independent character and so genuine as well. Walt was a little grumpy but I think that definitely made him even more desirable especially once we finally got to know the real Walt! I loved the two of them together, they were just so perfect in my opinion. Another wonderful read from this author, it is the second book in this series but could be read as a standalone however I would recommend reading in order as they are both amazing reads!

I’m so excited that this series has a Second Generation Series. The Hawke Series was one of my favorites. Especially the book about Stone. Which should tell you how excited I am that Ruthless Hawke is about none other than Stone’s son Issac. This author pulls you in, in so many ways it’s easy to get hooked. If this is the first time you’re stumbling across this series, you can definitely start with the Second Generation Series, you won’t be missing much. However if you want to understand the family as a whole better, you definitely want to go back and read the original Hawke Series. It’s also worth it to read. Issac is continuing what his father started with the family law firm. Fighting for what’s right, but also for his family as well. Family is everything for the Hawkes blood relation or not.(It could be why I’m drawn to these books. I’ve never had a close family like this.) But family is exactly what turns his world upside down. He’s readying for the fight of his life, and his family has shown him the way. Again I can’t even explain how much this series and world are an escape for me, that I love. It has everything. It’s sad, happy, funny, loving, ect. It’s so worth it and you will absolute not be disappointed!

I really enjoyed this second installment of The Bennetts series. The chemistry between Walt and Elyse was very good. I enjoyed his character and appreciated how he interacted with his sister. I loved the grump but secretly a teddy bear angle for Walt’s character. I think that is a relatable trait for many men. I can relate to that. It was a quick, enjoyable read and look forward to the next installment.

This is the second book in this series which I enjoyed just as much if not more than the first. I highly suggest you read the first book as well to help your enhancement for this author. This is a well written story where the author used her writing skills to bring the story to life. The characters pull you into the story and kept me engaged to the end. This is a fast paced, hard to put down story. A story that will make you question if it is true that opposites attract. A story where the characters are relatable and have greaty growth as well as chemistry throughout the story. This is a hard to put down story that you don’t want to miss. I really enjoyed reading this story. I highly recommend this book and this author.
