I'll See You Again (Reigning Hearts, #4)I’ll See You Again by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I’ll See You Again (Reigning Hearts, Book Four) AUDIOBOOK by KG Fletcher. I love KG Fletcher’s rock-star romance because I appreciate sizzling opposites-attract stories and heart-wrenching sentiments.

She envisions happy endings. He sings about them in his songs. But, will their star-struck romance last? Nicky Sinclair, a small-town wedding planner, yearns for true love and delicious pastries. But her world is turned upside down when a famous Scottish musician shows her the kind of love she’s ever imagined. Except, just as their hearts begin to beat in time, she receives dreadful news and finds herself in the news. Reid Macpherson, on the verge of glory, devotes his entire being to his band. But the last thing he anticipated when he went to a small-town pub to practice his new song was to fall in love with a stunning local who had no idea who he was.

When he discovers he has affection for her, he invites her to the start of his first global tour in New York City. However, Nicky’s emotions are running high after hearing the sad news that has reached the airways, and she believes Mac will abandon her and return to Scotland for good. And Mac is concerned about Nicky, who has been left behind; his voice will be muted forever, their love reduced to a lingering line in one of his popular songs. Will the happy couple reunite in the future, or have they spoken their final goodbyes?

I’ll See You Again is the fourth standalone contemporary romance novel in the series.I continue to enjoy this story. I loved every page of it. Every chapter was lovely. I can’t wait to read more books from this author.

Courage of Us (Code of Honor Book 1) by Brooke May – Review by Michelle Austin

Courage of UsCourage of Us by Brooke May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great 5 star read, once I started I didn’t want to put it down. The author does a great job with her writing, you feel like you’re right there with the characters.

Patience finally got the courage or should I say liquid courage to tell her best friend Duke exactly how she felt. It turned into a wonderful night between them….that is until morning and he was gone.

We jump ahead seven years, Patience made some not so great choices and had some heartbreaking moments and is now going through divorce. She hasn’t heard from Duke since he left. So when she comes face-to-face with him she is shocked to see him.

Duke knows the way he left things with Patience wasn’t great. Now that he has returned home he wants to make things right with her and maybe even pick up where they left off. He eventually convinces her to go on a date with him.

Can these two rekindle their friendship and possibly have more?

Overall I really enjoyed this book and the characters were great. I really liked both of them and I can’t wait to read more from this series. If you’re looking for a great 2nd chance romance this is the one for you. 1-click and get started today.

Mountains Wanted (Mountains, #1)Mountains Wanted by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Mountains Wanted is the first in the Mountains Series by Phoebe Alexander. While this novel is different from her other novels, it touches on an issue in today’s world. Follow along with Sarah as she learns more about herself and what she wants. Alexander took a topic that isn’t discussed that much and wrote a novel about it. The main character, Sarah, struggles a little bit about what she wants and with whom she wants it with. Can she settle for just one? This novel is a great start to a wonderful series and I can’t wait to read more.

I….LOVED….THIS…BOOK!!! The story was really great and it was very well written. She did an excellent job of making you feel what the characters were feeling. I loved Liam and Kendall. In the beginning I was totally adding to her list of ways to hurt him but at the end I found myself so happy about how it turned out. I give it a 20 out of 10. Definitely a great read!

Mountains Wanted (Mountains Series #1) by Phoebe Alexander – Review by Kayla Bullock

Mountains Wanted (Mountains #1)Mountains Wanted by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Hot, steamy, unorthodox romance writing at its finest! Sarah, single mother of 2, enjoys her life as a free spirit with no strings attached relationships. James is military and not looking for anything serious. When the two meet and begin a friends with benefits relationship, things become complicated as Sarah finds herself falling for James.

This story is HOT. Full of lustful, descriptive sex scenes, it is not for the faint at heart! Mountains Wanted explores relationships from all angles, including friends/boyfriends/friends with benefits/and everything in between. I could relate completely with Sarah as she dealt with her relationship with her teenage daughter! Great character development, great conversations. Would have rated it a 5/5 but there were some scenes that felt unnecessary to the flow of the story and could have been eliminated.

I’ll See You Again (Reigning Hearts, Book Four) AUDIO BOOK by KG Fletcher

I’ll See You Again is the fourth book in the Reigning Hearts Series by K.G Fletcher . Although this is a standalone I do however recommend reading/listening to this series in order as they are all wonderfully written/narrated and some of the characters are recurring . Fair warning be prepared to grab a kleenex because there are parts where you will find yourself tearing up to the point of balling, you be happ the sad to the point of mad. This author has a way of bringing her characters to life and makes you feel all the feels. This story literally wrecked my heart as I was taken on one heck of a emotional rollercoaster ride. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again I never realized Listening to books would be as relaxing as it is. I’ve become a huge fan. This is Mac and Nicky’s story. These two have extreme chemistry between them and the love between them with leave you almost breathless. You guys I’m not going to give anything away but I will say this is a absolute must listen/read and you won’t be disappointed. I look forward to reading/listening to more from this Author

I’ll See You Again by K. G. Fletcher

Narrated by Kelly Genelle Fletcher

Four Stars

I’ll See You Again is the fourth book in the Reigning Hearts series by K. G. Fletcher. This is my new favorite book of the series. I was looking forward to Nicky’s story, and Mac is just the sweetest Rockstar I’ve read/ listened to. The books in this series can be read as standalone, but they are all great books and they have recurring characters. K.G. Really knocked it out of the ark with this one. I was on emotion overload, but I just had to keep listening to see how it would end. Brilliantly.

This book is narrated by Kelly Genelle Fletcher. She does a good job of bringing the characters to life, and the emotional roller coaster had me in disbelief at times. I look forward to listening to many more book by Ms Fletcher.

The DonThe Don by Hazel Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Don by Hazel Storm is the first book in Her Three Immortals series. This book is a good story that clearly is setting the scene for whatever is going to come next. We get to learn about all the characters in this book and have the story develop slowly and right.
Although this is a genre I enjoy it isn’t one I read very often so it was a joy to pick up this one. This is a new author to me and I enjoyed how she built up the book and the characters. It caught me interest and has held it enough that I will certainly be read in the next book. It was a little bit more tame than I was expecting however it was a good book. I am looking forward to book two.

In His KissIn His Kiss by Ava Alise
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I definitely enjoyed the first book in this series. Ava Alise does a great job of making us fall in love with the main characters of this story. I was wondering “will they, won’t they?” on nearly every page. It’s got the “boy-next-door” vibes since Jordan and Xia grew up across the street from each other. Best friends in every sense of the phrase. Watching the one you love while they love someone else is difficult – and I think we have all been there. I caught myself not even bothering to stop reading until I had consumed the whole book. And now all I want is to read the next one because the ending to this one made me INSANELY curious about what could happen next! Don’t miss out, binge this book TODAY!

The DonThe Don by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a quick and easy read. It kept me very entertained and if it wasn’t for life I would’ve finished this book in one day. It definitely left me want more. This book ends on a huge cliff hanger and I cannot wait for the second in this series.

Vanessa is a hairdresser that seems to bring out the inner beauty in her clients leaving them with a glow. This book is centered around her and the love she has for her little brother Piper, whom is terminally ill.

We also have the three half brothers Grey, Raif, and Azoz. Grey is the first brother we meet in this book. He is a hard type A person. Next we run into Raif. Raif and Grey have a lot of similarities. Enough that Vanessa’s dreams start to get a little fuzzy. Azoz is the only brother that we get to meet but Vanessa has yet to. The adult scenes were a little mild and fast.

All in all this was a fun read.

A brother terminally ill, an employment covered in suspicion, a new mysterious neighbor, and a New York billionaire all mixed together to create a suspenseful, romantic, tear jerking journey. Can too many gorgeous men ever be a problem? I am excited to see how the next book continues this story.

4-stars

In His Kiss is an incredible angsty and steamy friends to lover’s romance read that I enjoyed from start to finish. It was dramatic, emotional, captivating and action packed. I loved how this author managed to connect me with the characters from the get go, they were really relatable so it made it easy to picture everything playing out in my mind.

I enjoyed how this story followed Xia and Jordan, along with the many secondary characters, there was truly never a dull moment. I look forward to reading more about this group of friends in the coming books of the series.

In His Kiss (The Unrequited Series Book 1)In His Kiss by Ava Alise
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

In His Kiss is book one in the Unrequited series by Ava Alise. This author is new to me and I was really excited to find out what her style was. And this genre is one of my favourites, so sinking into this story was bliss. I love nothing more than to read a romance where the characters are best friends and discovering these feelings they have for each other. Then all the emotions that come with it. There is the realisation. The denial. The resistance. The struggling. The fighting. The acceptance. The contentment. The belonging. The happy ending. In His Kiss had all the elements of a fantastic romance. The attraction and connection that existed between the characters was decadent, and the evolution of their love story was captivating, stimulating and impressive. New authors bring new writing styles and stamp their own signature on the genre. And I cannot get enough. A brilliant and well presented story that has me craving more. 5 stars.

Slow burn with a twist on mythology.
I like strong, female leads and interesting love interests each with a personality of their own. The Don by Hazel Storm did not disappoint. The story setting is strong, characters unique and enough action to keep my interest. There were times where I laughed out loud and other times I was huffing in frustration. This is definitely a slow burn – so don’t expect Insta-love or major hook-ups just yet. This book has left a lot to still be discovered – but is a solid first book to set the scene. I can’t wait for book 2.

OMG, I loved everything about this book.  The characters,  the story and the narrators Chrisopher Rourke and Ariel Royce who did an amazing job bringing Liam and Kendall to life.

I listened while working or for the short time I was in the car.  I drove the long way home just to finish that much sooner.

This was my first time listening to a book with these narrators but will be looking for them in the future. Absolutely amazing book all the way around.

How far would you go to save a loved one? Would you sign a contract with The Don of the Underworld as a Life for a Life? This book definitely has its steamy moments but there is also a mystery as well to it. This story of Vanessa, whom meets Grey, Raef and Aroz. No doubt they find beauty in Vanessa and she is mortal. Vanessa’s brother, Piper, is sick and all she wants is her brother to live and be healthy, would she make a deal in order for her brother to live? Raef wants to help with a more natural approach but when Vanessa finds out the powers that Grey has….hmmm….Then we have Aroz, I cannot want to find out what he has in store as well. I believe all 3 men are hot as sin no doubt. I am so on Team Raef. I cannot wait to read the other books in the series to find out what happens next. This book for me was hard to put down!!

What a great ride…though it ends on a cliffhanger. Vanessa is a very relatable character. She is a hairdresser that will do anything for her family, especially her 12 old brother who is fighting cancer. Her billionaire father left her family with nothing which has changed her outlook on men. Then she notices Grey across the street talking to her neighbor. She notices something different about him. She just isn’t sure what it is.
On a trip to New York she runs into Raef, who she mistakes as Grey. Similar looks, but definitely different personalities in these two brothers. She starts dreaming about both of them which makes her a tad uncomfortable. Raef turns out to be a perfect gentleman, something she hasn’t really come across before.
I loved the characters in this story and how they interacted. Ending on a cliffhanger, I am ready to jump into the next book, I want to know what happens!!

The Don was a very quick read, it took me a couple of chapters to get into it but once I did I couldn’t put it down. While I am a huge romance lover this book had me even more intrigued because it’s a Greek mythology romance. The Don is the first book in the Her Three Immortals series by Hazel Storm, the chapters were shorter and fast making the book easy to get through. Ms. Storm gives a great scenery setting and wonderful character descriptions, both of which make me look forward to the remaining books in this series. Her female characters are powerful, the male characters intriguing, and all so wonderfully described you won’t know who to root for. So if your looking for a fun, fast read this weekend I highly recommend The Done by Hazel Storm.

The DonThe Don by Hazel Storm

All I can say is WOW! This book was a serious page turner that keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more.
Vanessa Maan is a hard working hairdresser who has a flair for making her client’s inner beauty come to the surface. At home, she has a very sick younger brother who is battling cancer. Vanessa is a very relatable character who you can feel as though you could connect with.
Grey, Don of the underworld, has come to Earth to renegotiate a contract with a human and when he and Vanessa meet, sparks fly. On a trip to see a doctor in New York, Vanessa by chance runs into Grey’s brother Raef. Raef is a billionaire who aside from looking very much like Grey, is also immediately attracted to Vanessa.
Lots of twists and turns in this book and be ready for a cliffhanger at the end of this book. For me that didn’t detract from anything, this was still a great storyline and I will be looking forward to book 2!

The Don, book 1 of Her Three Immortals series by Hazel Storm was a quick read but left me wanting more!
I was not ready for it to end!! I love the multiple point of views from several of the characters.

Vanessa is a hairdresser and loves being able to bring out the inner beauty of her clients. It is what she’s good at. But it could also mean competition to others in the beauty industry.
Grey is The Don of the Underworld and is in town on business. Moving in across the street from Vanessa is just a perk.
Raef is Grey’s half-brother, a very sexy billionaire that is proving to Vanessa that not all financially successful men are A-holes, or are they?

Vanessa has some issues in her home life and just as these interesting men walk into her life her work life starts to suffer as well.
Can they help her? Is she willing to pay the price?

I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!

I’ll See You Again (Reigning Hearts, Book Four) AUDIO BOOK by KG Fletcher – Review by Angela Shirley

When you arrange the perfect weddings for people, Nicky can’t wait for her special day. Will it ever happen or will be she organising everybody else.

Nicky is a successful businesswoman who has always been professional and is a brilliant wedding organiser until Reid comes into her life will the chemistry between them be enough to spark a relationship they both crave.

Reid is a famous singer and has concentrate on his singing and his band but when a meeting with Nicky instantly creates chemistry will he be able to accept the attraction and can they have a happily ever after.

I love this series and I have read numerous books by this author and they do not disappoint. Each book within this story can be read as a stand alone but there is some crossover in some of the characters but this does not deter from the story.

The story is well read and the characters spark chemistry off the charts, this is also enhanced by the narrators love of them as people. I love the character of Nicky she is sassy and a strong female character which complements the character of Reid brilliantly. I would recommend listening to more by this wonderful author as her stories are always well constructed and have warm and brilliant characters, I can’t wait to read the next book in this instalment.

Mountains Wanted (Mountains #1)Mountains Wanted by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This isn’t my first book by Phoebe Alexander and it won’t be my last. Phoebe’s writing always knows how to draw a reader in and gets the readers attached to her characters. Oh, let’s not forget she knows how to steam up the pages!

Mountains Wanted is the first of 3 books (hint, you are left with a cliffhanger) that follows the love story of James McAllister and Sarah Lynde. Do these friends with benefits take to the next level or are they better as friends?

Sarah might just be my favorite heroine by this author, she is strong, speaks her mind, and confident. I can’t wait to continue their story in Mountains Climbed – because who won’t want to climb James like a tree.

The DonThe Don by Hazel Storm
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a story that I really enjoyed. It is a captivating read that leaves you wanting more. I love the leading lady Vanessa. I love her determination to save her brother and her drive. She has been burnt by love in the past and is wearing the scars to prove it.

The 3 men we get introduced to in this story are very unique in their own right but they all have one thing in common. They see something special in Vanessa.

Grey is the Don of the underworld. He rules over the dead souls of people who have been bad in their life. He collects the souls and send them to be tortured forever. On his trip to renegotiate a contract he meets Vanessa. He doesn’t know why he’s drawn to her. Her soul is pure so definately not what he’s looking for but the pull won’t go away.
Reaf  has lived in the human world and has made his fortune there. He feels the attraction to Vanessa and is determined to prove that not all men are bad like her father.

And finally we have Aroz. He is an angel/cupid. But is he as angelic as he seems.

Vanessa finds her self in the middle of these brothers. All of them have different ideas about what and who she is and all of them have different reasons for being attracted to her but which one will be the right choice. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

The DonThe Don by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Vanessa is a hard-working hairdresser trying to make life a little easier for her mother and her sick brother, Piper. Piper is a twelve year old with cancer…and the doctors have recently told the family that he does not have much time left. Vanessa will do whatever she can in order to save her brother’s life. When a stranger moves in across the street…and strange things start happening in her world…she is determined to find out if the stranger is good or bad…and can he help her?

Grey comes to the human realm to renegotiate a contract…and is immediately intrigued by Vanessa. Although she is distracting, in a good way, he needs to stay focused on his task. Vanessa has also caught the attention of a couple of other people. First is Grey’s half-brother, Raef. Raef wants to help Vanessa in her battle to save her brother…and keep her out of Grey’s clutches. Another person who has their eye on Vanessa is Aroz’s mother…the goddess of beauty. She wants Vanessa out of the picture…and sends Aroz to make it happen as only he can.

There are so many things going on in this story and they all come to a head at the end of the book. Spoiler alert…it ends in a bit of a cliffhanger. I am looking forward to reading the next book to see what happens next. I really found myself wrapped up in each of the characters and their individual storylines that are all connected in a way…just not quite sure of how yet.

Overall, an interesting story that is different from what I usually read…but such a good story!

The DonThe Don by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This story is different than other paranormals I have read. I loved that about it. It really kept me on my toes not knowing who or what was going to happen next. We get to meet all three gods (well one demigod) but learn the most about Grey. I just never knew where she stood with him. He likes her but from afar. He stays focused on business. He protects her from everyone but himself. Then there is Raef aka the gentleman. Thats truly what he seems to be. We get to know that side of him but I am sure there is another we haven’t seen yet. Then there is a few brief encounters with Aroz. I don’t have enough to form an opinion yet but it seems he doesn’t do much without his momma’s direction.

Overall this is a great eye catching story. It didn’t disappoint and kept me curious throughout. Wondering…always wondering. Will she? Won’t she? And now what happens next? While this does end with everything up in the air. The back of the book does have a few chapters into book 2. Which literally continues where this book leaves off. I cant wait to dive in!

In His Kiss by Ava Alise a fab four-star read. This is number one in the Unrequited series, and I am eager for more, this has everything it needs to be brilliant, angst, passion, drama, heart wringing emotions, friends to lovers. It just didn’t have characters I loved all the way through. There is lots going on with this story, and different story lines, but its easy to keep them clear as you read. Xia and Jordan will have your emotions running all over. Number two can’t come soon enough for me, as once I got to know everyone well, and started to really like them, I couldn’t wait for more.
