Stars Fall From the Sky (Reigning Hearts Book Two) AUDIO BOOK by KG Fletcher

5 +++++ Stars

This is my 2nd AUDIObook by this author, I’ve read the ebook and just like the first one I had to have the audio because it is told in this author’s own voice and I fell in love all over again with this book. Most of this review is a copy from my ebook review because the feelings are the same after settling in and listening to it being read to me.

This story grabbed me from page 1…squeezed the ever loving life out of me…destroyed me …blew life back in to me, knocked me back down again, and then picked me back up…I ugly cried more than once, well more than twice actually and felt completely worn out. I’ve read I think all of this author’s books. I’ve loved every one of them and will read them all again at some point, but this one even though the second in a series stands within my top favorites of all time.

Ginger and Jonathon brought out every emotion I didn’t know I had. This story was written so beautifully and felt so real. I swear I feel like I stepped back out of Sandersville Beach after reading the last page. I loved Ginger in Emmy and Cappy’s book and love her even more now. Speaking of which, it was so completely awesome being back with Emmy and Thomas again as well..I loved their story and it was nice to be a part of their continuing journey. I love this town and I love the people in it…I want to move there!

I want so bad to get into more details of the story itself but I don’t trust myself to do that without giving away things I shouldn’t be so will end here and leave you with…these books are a must read and now a must listen, there’s too much in the first book to skip it so I don’t recommend that. I’m so hoping she decides to narrate Fiona’s story as well.

Grab the books or the audios or both..I swear reading them first makes them like a favorite movie, then watching that favorite movie again this time in her voice and anticipating some of my favorite parts and how she handles them. I just LOVE it beyond words!

Many thanks and much love to this author!

OFFICE MISTAKES by BETH HALE – Review by Chantelle Smith

Office MistakesOffice Mistakes by Beth Hale
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a brilliant first read from this author and really set me up for looking forward to more reads by her! Office Mistakes is a feel-good holiday romance read that while short, really does bring you quite a bit in a short time. Audra and Charlie have a connection that is undeniable but has been put to the back as they both are hoping for the same promotion, until one night! These two have amazing chemistry and I loved watching them work through the glitches they had at the beginning as it showed what they were both willing to put into things, it also showed what their real feelings were, in a short period of time! Can Audra put aside her past enough to allow Charlie to come and show her what she really needs and wants? I highly recommend this read.

Moonlit Whisper: An Irish Romance (Moonlit Destination Series) by Amy McKinley – Review by Bobbi Wagner

Moonlit Whisper (An Irish Romance)Moonlit Whisper by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this romance story. It is a shorter story that packs a real punch for romance. I was pulled into the story right from the beginning and it certainly kept me turning pages to the end. This is an engaging story about Fiona and Connor. She is asked to tutor a football player but what she doesn’t realize is that she is about to face someone from her past. The problem is that he left her all that time ago, will he make amends with her? Connor is determined to have her back and show her he isn’t leaving this time. What happens next you will need to read this book. They are such great characters and really made the story easy to read for me. Their chemistry is awesome and couldn’t wait to see if they get their HEA. I highly recommend reading their story and this author

The Nearness of You: A British celebrity, standalone love-at-first-sight romance by K.G. Fletcher – Review by Kerry Carr

The Nearness of YouThe Nearness of You by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a very sweet romance. It was an enjoyable read with characters that were well written and you can’t help but fall in love with them. This book gives you all the feelings from excitement and love, to tears and sadness. There are also twist and turns which keep you guessing which I liked as its not a straight forward boy meets girl and falls in love.

Lauren is an aspiring singer on the local bars. She wonders if she will ever get her big break. What she doesn’t expect is to bump into a famous model during one of her shows.

David is in town for his sisters wedding when he hears Lauren sing and instantly falls for her. After spending time together he realises he needs to be with her so asked her to come with him for his big launch.

But not everyone is happy for David and Lauren. Will their spark grow into a fire? Will Lauren be too much of a distraction for David? Will their careers suffer for their romance or will they make it work?

But there is always the one who got away, would you ever be able to extinguish that old tiny flame? As it may be tiny, but its ultimately very strong. Then you have Archer, who is strong and tuff and has been fighting but now he may need to fight harder than ever. This was a great story, short and spicy and filled with festive spirit.

5 stars!

I always love a good holiday themed read, and this one did it for me. Although short and sweet, it had everything I needed to fall in love with this book. The characters were well developed and I was quickly turning the pages to find out what happens with Archer and Ally and of course Glory. Their story is sweet, beautiful and their second chance at love and a life together had me excited. The drama involved with Archer being in the military and him leaving everything by behind gave the story that little extra kick. I really look forward to reading more from this author.

Be Brave with Me (Finding Love in Green Springs Book 1) AUDIO BOOK by CA Miconi – Review by Jenique Bornman

J.B Havens & CA Miconi joined forces in this heartwrenching romance.
Meg & Drew are both broken, they have both lost someone close to them.
Meg is on the run from her heartbreak and ends up in the small town Green Springs. There she runs into Drew, also heartbroken.
They keep on running into each other….. will these to people begin to heal….. you’ll have to read it to find out.

Both these MC’s are amazing and well written but I must say that I was drawn more towards Meg with her foul mouth and cheeky attitude.

Tyler and Tara also did and absolutely superb job with the narration of this book. I’m definitely checking to find more books narrated by them.

The Nearness of You: A British celebrity, standalone love-at-first-sight romance by KG Fletcher. This author has truly stolen many pieces of my heart with other books so I knew getting this one was a no brained for me. And of course once again I lost a couple more pieces! Each character brings something unique to the storyline and they had me so completely drawn into their world I definitely lost all track of time and I loved every minute of it. The storyline has a nice steady flow that gives readers exactly what they need. The characters are complex and relatable, each one written in the greatest details. The author put in every feeling she wanted felt and I felt them all from beginning to end. Can’t wait to see where the author takes readers next. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Corporate Christmas by Bernadette Marie. Want a Christmas story like you get on tv this is right up your alley in all the right ways. I love heartwarming stories at Christmas time they just have a life of their own that captures a piece of my heart every time. This is a shorter read but trust me that in no way hindered this wonderful story. The characters are complex and relatable I found myself completely drawn in to their world and connected with them right off. Chloe and Jason gave me all the feels and I absolutely loved getting lost in the pages of their story. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m definitely looking forward to more from this author and I can’t wait to see what more is offered to readers. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Fake Fiancé: A Second Chance Office Romance by Amy McKinley. I’ve already fallen in love with most of this authors work so I was definitely excited to gym hands on this story. And again I wasn’t disappointed! The characters had me hooked from the very first page and I happily got lost in the pages for a while with them. Each character was easy to connect with and brought something unique to the storyline. It’s a smaller read but in no way was it hindered by that fact. It still had everything I needed from great characters and a wonderful storyline. I love when I can finish out my reading year with strong five star reads and this is definitely one! This is my first book by this author which I enjoyed from beginning to end. I look forward to reading more from her in the future. This is a well developed romance story that I was pulled in right from the beginning. The characters are connectable and engaging as they brought the story to life. They made the story easy to read and entertaining. This is a story about Tara. She just wants to put her past in the past and be able to move on and heal. As she opens up a new restaurant, she finally starts to heal. Then he walks into her life and things start to happen. Jace just needs a change and heals from the loss of his family. Taking on a new job is a start. When he meets Tara, he wants to know more about her. What will fate have in store for them? When the past comes crashing into the present, how will things change. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is my first book from this author and I have absolutely fallen in love with Amy McKinley’s writing. I was expecting a short and sweet office romance between an assistant and her boss. Instead, I became heavily invested in Adeline and Stone within the first chapter of each respective character. McKinley did a fantastic job of giving Adeline and Stone more than just their appearances or wealth. They felt like individuals with their own personalities and dreams, and I would have enjoyed getting to know them and follow their stories whether there was a romance plot or not. It takes a lot of talent, attention to details, and good pacing to be able to pull off a novel like this, and Fake Fiancé: A Second Chance Office Romance has me thoroughly impressed.

Wildfire (The Broken Bow Book 2) by Ashley A. Quinn and is a contemporary romance with suspense thrown into the mix. It is an engaging and well written story with strong characters. It is an emotional read that is both intriguing and gripping and I found myself fully immersed and lost in the story. All she wants is to put down roots and leave the past behind but just when things seem on the up the ugly past comes crashing back to the fore. He is trying to forget his past and start a fresh and he may have just found the one person to help him on his way.

Wildfire (The Broken Bow Book 2) by Ashley A Quinn

This was an engaging and emotional romantic suspense which had me gripped from the first page. Main character Tara Miller is home again after years away travelling the world and she’s determined to put her painful past behind her but she’s being stalked. With the distraction of her family and a new restaurant Tara finally feels she is healing. Then, she meets Jace Travers and the more Tara try’s to avoid him the harder it gets. Jace moved to Silver Gap, Colorado to become the Chief Deputy in order to avoid the memories of his wife and daughter. However, Jace is instantly intrigued by the sister of his Sheriff, Tara and her attempts at trying to avoid him just make him even keener to learn more about her. But when Tara’s past comes back to haunt her things turn deadly for them both.
I found myself immersed in this story and felt engaged with the characters all of whom were well defined, and I found the fiery and strong Tara who is a real survivor particularly likeable and relatable. I enjoyed the romance elements of the storyline and the chemistry between Tara and Jace did come across in the narrative. Quinn really made the characters and the setting come alive with her descriptive writing and the suspenseful plot moved the story along at a fast pace. I found that I could not put this book down and read late into the night, always a sign of a good book. I look forward to reading the previous book in ‘The Broken Bow’ series and any future ones.

5 out of 5 stars

Second Chance eX-mas is the first I’ve read by N.D. Jackson but it most certainly will not be the last. I don’t read very many second chance romance novels because I often feel the plots to be too corny or redundant but this one certainly surpasses all expectations. I was drawn into the story line right away and something about the author’s writing style was intriguing and familiar. I was drawn to Ally and her interaction with Cindy right away.
I love when books are written in multiple point of views and with the plot of this book, I thought it was great to see things from Archer’s perspective. Overall, I can’t say enough about this book and highly recommend it. Especially if you like a sweet romance during the holidays.

Run To The Sea is the first book in K.G. Fletcher’s Reigning Hearts series. A fantastic start to the Reigning Hearts series. This novel is based in a sleepy Florida seaside town. I enjoyed from beginning to end. She has a writing style that is easy to read and her stories flow really well. I. G. FLETCHER had created some amazing characters and Thomas and Emeline were no exceptions. I love a second chance romance how these two absolutely interact with each other. You root for these two. The Nearness of You: A British celebrity, standalone love-at-first-sight romance by K.G Fletcher

Not the first book I’ve read by Fletcher, but a must read like this brought me back. She knows how to capture her readers attention and keep it.

Lauren doesn’t expect to fall in love within a couple of days, but it happens. She is living her life doing what she loves doing. When she meets the supermodel things change drastically. The quote I chose for Lauren is: “I’m just really happy in this moment with you and I don’t want it to end.”

David is used to his career being the only thing in his life. On a Friday night he meets someone who turns his world upside down. In a good way. The quote I chose for David is: “It’s chemistry. It’s adoration. It’s unexplainable, really. All I know is I want more. I don’t know what that looks like entirely, but if we stick together, I believe the two of us can explore something truly special.”

Highly recommended for contemporary romance lovers.

Ally is a single mom working hard to get her grow her business so her and her daughter, Glory, could live comfortably. However, he quiet life is thrown into chaos when Archer comes back to town. Archer has been serving in the military and is moving back to his hometown. He hasn’t seen Ally in years and hopes that she is happy. However, his mother gives him news on his first day back home that will change his life forever. He has a daughter. Now Archer is determined to get to know his daughter and, hopefully, get to know her mother. Ally isn’t going to make it easy for Archer…but sometimes old flames don’t completely die out.
I enjoyed this story from beginning to end. Ally is a strong, independent woman and I love how she handled Archer coming back into her life. I can understand where her feelings were coming from and I enjoyed watching their relationship grow and evolve since they are adults and not the children they when they last saw each other. This was a cute story of reigniting old flames while coming to terms with the changes life has thrown their way.

I loved this sweet and steamy Christmas romance which had me hooked from page one. Although a fairly short book it was packed full of, romance, emotions, family dramas and wonderful characters. Set in a small town called Blissful, childhood sweethearts Ally and Archer get a second chance at love when Archer returns to his hometown after leaving the military. Archer is determined to win back the women who he left behind but has always loved but Ally can still not get over the heartbreak she suffered when he left her. Archer gets a big surprise when he meets Ally’s daughter Glory and realises that when he left Ally she was pregnant. Although Ally is happy for Archer to spend time with and get to know his daughter she is less keen to spend time with him herself, despite his best efforts and that of his Mum who is a doting Grandmother to Glory.

When a steamy kiss leads to an even steamier night together they both recognise that the chemistry they shared is still definitely there and as they spend time together as family leading up to Christmas Ally realises that she has always loved Archer and still does. Archer has a Christmas Eve gift for Ally that he hopes will ensure that they can both let go of the past and have a happy future together that lasts beyond Christmas Day.

Full of Christmas magic and the festive spirit this is a lovely lighthearted and heartwarming novella. I loved all the characters and they all added to the overall story. The chemistry between Archer and Ally sizzled off the page. The author made both the characters and the setting of Blissful at Christmas time really come alive. The narrative flowed well and I felt immersed in the story. An enjoyable and engaging Christmas romance with a real feel good factor.

The Nearness of YouThe Nearness of You by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Nearness of You by KG Fletcher is a beautiful love story between a singer who loves the oldies, like Frank Sinatra, and loves the 60’s style, and a very handsome model from England. Lauren can’t believe she’s met and connected with David at the hotel where she works weekends singing at the bar. David is mesmerized by Lauren in a way he’s never expected. The two connect so well, they both seem to know they’ve met the one but will they follow it through?
I love reading books by Ms. Fletcher. I connect with her characters pretty quickly. The books are well written and you can’t help but continue reading until you are finished.

If you are looking to read a good second chance magical Christmas love story, then this book is for you. This is not my first book by N.D. Jackson and it will not be the last one either. Her attention to detail is what makes this story on my list of books to read. This story is about Archer and Ally. They were a couple and then they broke up. Archer moved away and Ally stayed. Archer came back to town because he knew what he did was not right and truly not the decision he did not mean to make. Can Archer use the Christmas magic to help get back with Ally? Does Ally want Archer back after he had left her in the past? I highly recommend reading this book.

What I got was a well written story with strong characters that really drew me in. I liked the suspenseful element to the book and how that was combined with the great chemistry between the two main characters.
After reading the description I wasn’t sure what direction the author might take with the book but I loved the track she went down. Second Chance eX-mas by N.D. Jackson is a quick holiday romance that will really have you rooting for the characters. It is a great second chance story with just the right amount of holiday magic to make it feel special.
Although this is a pretty quick read – it is a novella after all – the book doesn’t feel like there is anything missing or it has been rushed. The author has managed to create a short story with a full storyline to it. I loved that I could really get behind the characters and couldn’t wait to see how they would work things out. Even with so much between them it felt right that they should end up together in some way!
This isn’t the first book that I have read by this author and it definitely won’t be the last either. She really has a great way of creating brilliant stories and this one is no exception. I would certainly recommend this book to anyone who was a nice quick read to get them in the holiday spirit.

Second Chance eX-masSecond Chance eX-mas by N.D. Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a story about Ally and Archer, childhood sweethearts who had it all, the looks, the hope and the future as well as every chance for it to come true, that is until Archer left and never looked back but also never knew what he left behind until he returned home and found out.

It is Christmas in Blissful and Ally is busy preparing orders and making deliveries for her customers and as always is running late for her other responsibilities, but when she finally arrives home with everything she needed to complete her work before she can relax and enjoys the holiday season properly, she receives a piece of news which shakes her to the core, Archer is coming back to Blissful. Archer who left her, Archer who hurt her, Archer who she had learnt to live without and survive the wounds in her heart which he gave her and Archer who she would not let back in no matter what he tried to do, she had just gotten her life to a position where she could look at the future and be hopeful, despite the time and energy she had spent to get there and she wouldn’t let that future slip away.

Archer is thinking about coming back to Blissful and what that means, he is thinking about the day he left and the decision he made which led him to do so, it is a long drive from the airport and it is giving him more time to think than he would like. He knows that she probably hates him and has a life without him, but he doesn’t want to see it if she has, he is remembering all the places in the town as he passes them and some of the memories of Ally which are associated with them, as he thinks about turning the car around, but that all fades into the background when he pulls up outside his mother’s house. He sees the shutters and thinks about his siblings and how they each chose their own colours for them, he then sees his mother bounding down the steps and into his arms for a hug and to know if he is home for good, his reply is as long as she will put him up for and with that out of the way, he goes to eat what she has cooked for his homecoming meal and they start to catch up on what the other has been up to since he left, including exactly what he left behind and it is the shock of a lifetime.

This information leads to Archer and Ally meeting again and Archer trying to mend all that he broke when he left, he knows now what he wants and will stop at nothing to get it, but will he manage to reform these bonds, will the magic of Christmas be able to help, or will the past be too much to overcome? This is a story of second chances, but what they look like is not always what people plan them to be.

So, they get stranded in an extremely small town in Tennessee. She isn’t the only one who gets stranded there either. Artemis Warren has an infamous family and has the money to go with it. The one thing that he doesn’t have is the girl that broke his heart one summer in North Carolina. He’s carried a torch for her ever since. As fate plays it, these two get stranded at the same time at the very same airport their planes had to land at due to the storm. In less than 24 hours their lives get turned upside down and they leave to a happy ending. This book is a little bit of an emotional roller coaster. It was such an easy read and it pulled you in from the start and didn’t stop until the very end. I am so glad that there is a second book! I can’t wait to read it! This book is a Hallmark movie waiting to happen! I absolutely adored it! I have no complaints at all! Well done ladies!
