Jordan’s Justice: A New Adult Sport Romance (Tessa and Jordan Book 2) by T. Christensen
I was patiently (well as patiently as I can) waiting for this books release since I finished the first. I was not disappointed and could not put it down. It’s been a long time since read a book in a day but this one I couldn’t put down. I couldn’t wait to see what happened with Jordan and Tessa.
This book is set four years after the last ended and there was no playing around, got straight to the story and we got to read everything unfold.
I wish Lindy was in it more, but I do hope she gets her own book. There are so many things to talk about but I won’t mention them due to how they are part of the story.
This is part two of a series and you must read the first book to have any understanding what’s going on here and I highly recommend both of these books, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

I have read a few books from this author but she always blows my mind with her writing. This is the second book of the college sports romance about Tessa and Jordan. I absolutely love sports romance but this book exceeded all my expectations. You have to read the first book in order to understand what is going on. I was excited to start this book. I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. Once I started this story I could not put it down until the end. I was so addicted to this book I read it all the way through. I can’t wait to see what this amazing author will write about next.
Tessa was forced to leave her love four years ago. Now Tessa has a great job and she has a lot to keep her busy. She is in complete shock when she runs into her ex Jordan. Tessa doesn’t need more things to juggle right now but Jordan wants answers and he will stop it at nothing to get them. Tessa didn’t realize how much Jordan hates her but she has a secret she has been keeping from him for years that could change both of their lives. Will Tessa find what she is looking for or will Jordan destroy all of her happiness?

I loved the story by Marie Skye, ‘Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You’, it was an enjoyable and engaging read. When Perrie advertises for a roommate her requirements were simple, they must be clean, not smoke and won’t touch her things. Perrie definitely did not expect her new roommate to be the man she had a one-night stand with whilst in Vegas and who she briefly dated during University. Ash is just as surprised when he find himself face to face with the women he last saw after a steamy night together in Vegas, when answering an ad for a roommate. The fact that Ash had been married at the time and did not tell Perrie just complicates the situation further. Perrie and Ash’s chemistry literally sizzled off the page and the tension between them also came across in the narrative. ‘Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You’ has a fun and lighthearted lovers to enemies and then back to lovers again storyline and characters who are likeable and relatable, which kept me happily turning the pages.

I loved this story. I have read several books by this author but this is by fair my favourite. It contains elements I love in a book, romance, murder mystery and paranormal. I especially loved how the author leads you to think the murderer is one person to then switch it around and keep you guessing.
Miriam is a police officer. She is a strong confident women in her job but in her relationships she is closed off. All due to having the love of her life break her heart years ago. She closed herself off and couldn’t trust again.
Jesse is the love of her Miriam’s life and he returns to their home town looking for closer. What he doesn’t expect is for their connection to be as strong as it was all those years ago.
Miriam has a lot going on in her life though. With a murderer on the loose and having her as a target she can’t be distracted by these emotions and feelings.
Will they realise they are meant to be? Will Miriam be able to solve the case before she becomes a victim? And who along the way will make an appearance to help guide them?
Jordan’s Justice is the 2nd book in the Jordan and Tessa Series by T. Christensen. In my opinion this book could be read as a standalone. When I started reading this book I had no idea that there had been a previous book and the author does such a great job of making sure that you have all the information necessary to have full enjoyment and understanding when reading this book. It was my first time reading any of this author’s work and I was very impressed with this book. I absolutely adored Tessa. She’s had a very tough life and works her backside off to support her mother and her daughter. She’s an amazing woman. With most book reviews I usually comment about how much I loved the main female and male characters but in this book I pretty much hated Jordan about 90% of the time. I loved how he was with his daughter Jordis but I hated how he treated Tessa. Although this certainly made for a story that I was totally gripped to and couldn’t wait to see how it all panned out. The storyline is fantastic and is very well written. The story flows well throughout and keeps the reader very engaged. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’d love to go back and read the first part of their story.

This is such a heartwarming book from the start. Laim and Rose have a history together. This story went too fast for me as I was reading I didn’t realise I would actually reading. I felt right Roses position and really connect with a character. Laim is struggling with his emotions and revelations , I like how his character has developed over time.
Jake and Sandy are working through some trials and tribunals. These are things we can all realte to. The Clark Family Series is something different indeed it throughs in dynamics you don’t even realise are there. She touched on a subject that is rarely done in books. There plenty of action and heated moments. Evelyn Sola succeed In writing an tredmous and engaging story.

Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You by Marie Skye was a quick, engaging read. When I saw Marie Skye had a story, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I could feel the chemistry and the tension is palpable. This steamy tale keeps you interested from start to finish. Marie’s writing is delightful, and you will fall in love with the characters who made me laugh and cry and everything in between as I journeyed along with the them.

Stormy’s Thunder is the second book in Satan’s Devils MC Utah Chapter Series by Manda Mellett. I have eagerly followed the Satan’s Devils since the very beginning, all through the original series and on to the newer spin-off chapters. And as always, I know I can rely on Ms. Mellett to deliver a story that not only captures my attention, but will also bring some unexpected developments, which inevitably make me sit up and really take notice. To be honest though, I really didn’t like Storm going into this book- having met him previously. But as the story progressed and we were taken back in time, I was given a different perspective of the man- and Stormy and Ms. Mellett not only won me over, but had me rooting for him (and Cat) right till the end. As always, if you love a really beautifully written and riveting MC story- with complex, quirky and endearing characters, steam and sizzling, emotion, action, suspense, and dramatic developments- then you definitely won’t want to miss this. Be warned though, as you may discover that one of Ms. Mellett’s books may prove addictive, and one will never be enough!

I pre-ordered this collection months ago and have been anticipating the moment it would arrive and I would finally be able to jump in. It is always wonderful to read stories from authors you know and love- but the bonus here is that I was introduced to some authors who are new to me, and got the chance to see what they do, too. So now I have some more authors to add to my list and lots of waiting catalogues of books for me to one-click and explore. One of my favourite authors, Marie Skye, has contributed to this collection with “Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You”. It is a sexy romp full of the humorous touches, banter, witty sarcasm, and steamy encounters that I love about her work. I really enjoyed meeting Perrie and Ash- and only wish their story was longer, but in a good way- as I would to have wallowed longer with them.

Crave is the first book in the Clark Family seriesby Evelyn Sola. I have read a couple of Ms. Sola’s books now, and this is definitely my favourite, so far. The story oozes angst, drama, push-pull, past hurt, family dynamics, chemistry, some humour, and sizzle. Jake will definitely have a lot to work through, and will need to let go of the past if he has any hope of making a future with Sandy. Sandy is strong and independent woman, a hard working nurse who knows when to leave well enough alone. So, after an intense connection when they first meet, things crumble when issues arise from the past. So is Jake wants any chance, he is going to have to work hard to earn it. What awaits in Book #2? Mmmm I wonder….

I anticipated liking this book but wasn’t quite prepared for the emotional journey it took me on. I immediately connected to Tara and Jace and fell head first into their story. The author did a beautiful job creating their story and their backgrounds and building a wonderful foundation for this tale to take off from. Loved every page.

Wildfire book 2 in the broken bow series by Ashley A Quinn. In this book Tara returns home and she is hurt by the past. She is recovering from her past when she runs into Jace Travers. Jace is everthing that scares her!! Or is he? I think once she gets to know Jace a little more she releases he is what she wants. Jace also has a bad past and moved so he can start healing. I loved everthing about Tara and her family they are loving and just all around great people to read about. The way Ashley describes Jace also attracts you to his character as well. I look forward to reading book 3 in this series. I want to learn more about the characters in this series. Jordan’s Justice: A New Adult Sport Romance is the second book in the Tessa and Jordan series by T. Christensen.
For me, this is not a stand-alone novel that can be read by itself. You really need to start at book one to appreciate the storyline and the characters. The backstory makes this book so much more, and this is a continuation of book one. Jordan’s Justice took me on an emotional rollercoaster. It had me in tears more than once. I loved the character of Tessa. She is a single mother, and is strong, and has her child’s best interest at heart throughout. Jordan needs to win me back over again. Even though I sympathised with him, and felt for what he had been through, he reacted very badly and made Tessa’s difficult life even more difficult at times. I thoroughly enjoyed this book though, and highly recommend this series.

Happily Ever After: Don’t Worry I Still Hate You by Marie Skye is a brilliantly entertaining book. This book really highlights how good this author is and how amazing her stories always are. I loved the characters in this book. They had such a strong connection but the history between them made for a hilarious and entertaining journey. Although this is a short story I found myself fully immersed in it and it didn’t feel like anything was missing or like the story was rushed. This is such an great example of enemies to lovers and second chance romance I would highly recommend reading it!

Crave: An Instant Attraction Romantic Comedy by Evelyn Sola is a novel in the Clark Family series. This is an absolutely brilliant book – entertaining, great chemistry, fantastic characters. This book grabs your attention from the moment you start reading it and doesn’t let go the whole way through. The connection between these characters is palpable – you can feel it on every page. I found that I just couldn’t stop reading about them and had to find out what was in store for them. The author has written and brilliant and in-depth story. If has been developed so well – she knows exactly when to push the story forward and when to hold back a little. The author has a strong writing style that is an absolute joy to read. EEEK! This BOOK! I was frustrated upon beginning reading. So much anger and resentment from him as well as her. Then all of a sudden I was sucked in and read the rest late into the night. Wow! I really needed to see how this would all play out.
Jordan throws me off all the time. I can never tell if he is just doing all this to only acquire Jordis or to appeal to Tessa. There is so much up and down. I feel like I am reading with a frown because of all the seriousness and unknown.
Poor Tessa. She is between a rock and a hard place. I can’t believe she doesn’t have an ulcer with all her stress and worrying. I get it! She is trying to not rock the boat and just be peaceful for Jordis’ sake….but at times it’s nice to see her backbone show up.
Overall this is an enticing second book. It had me cheering and jeering. When it all comes down to it…who would you believe or trust? And how much devastation would you allow to rule your life? How important are those “three little words”?

I was so stinking excited to get my hands on Matching Miriam by Mya O’Malley. I loved her books featuring paranormal and grit with Naomi and was even more stoked to see her pop up in this novel. I knew this was going to be a story that consumed my energy and time as I read it so I curled up with a good drink and blanket and dove right in. It was wonderful, more than I had hoped following Miriam as she found her way through this stage of her life. This book included more of the mystery with Miriam being a detective. I liked the undertones of romance between her and the ex that comes back into her life at the worst possible time, or best, depending on how you look at it. I loved how I literally could not put this down until I knew how things would unfold and finally end up for Miriam. I hope and pray we get more of her because this book was amazing and I really fell in love with the characters. If mystery is your thing with some hints of romance this is a read you won’t want to miss!
Wildfire by Ashley A Quinn a great four-star read. This is number two in the Broken Bow books, but it doesn’t matter if you haven’t read the first story, I hadn’t and didn’t feel lost, it appears that each story is about a different couple as the main focus so you’re okay. Tara Miler was a great character, she was one that I would follow through any story, the suspense in this story is immense and will keep you on your toes, it could do with another run through the editor but honestly if you overlook that it is a very compelling story. Both Tara and Jace have faced loss and it is done well, it’s not they loved they lost and their happy again, there is real drama there. Then you have the mystery that keeps moving, and it just makes this a winning story.

When you have tried to put the past behind you, a chance meeting can turn your world around but is that a good thing.
Tara has travelled the world and has finally decided to return home with her family. One day when in her restaurant she walks a face from the past and although she tries not to fall for the smile and the quirk of his lips but nothing can stop her falling for Jace Travers.
Jace has had his troubles and heartache through the years, but he is hoping that the new surroundings and job will help him heal and move forward. He does not accept a delightful past to be staring at him when he walks into the restaurant, will he be able to past behind him and have some happiness.
This is the first time I have read anything by this author and let me tell you she is now on my to read list. This story is full of action, thrilling suspense and of course a romance running through it to add to the well written and developed story. The story weaves into intrigue with some angst and emotion running through.
Once I started reading, I could not put the book down and must admit I had a late session to finish off the book. The characters are brilliantly written and compliment each other perfect, with the addition of the secondary characters giving the story a great depth. If you enjoy a good thriller with a hint of love then this is the book for you.
I can’t wait to read the first book in this series and this is on my kindle ready to go, can’t wait to see the next instalment and see where this series goes too. Ashley Quinn you have a new fan in me.

As a pretty new to me author, I am kicking myself for waiting so long to read her books. I am getting there slowly but this book, if I wasn’t already planning on reading her collection, this one would have made me run to one click everything. I was hooked, the characters, the storyline, the chemistry, just everything was amazing with this story. As I haven’t read much of this author, i was able to read this as a standalone but do see Miriam is in other books so I wasn’t left feeling like I was missing anything.
Matching Miriam by Mya O’Malley is a gripping story with characters that are so strong you won’t be able to stop reading! Although we are introduced to Miriam in other books by this author this book can be read as a stand-alone. For me this book is the perfect example as to why this author is so good. The characters are absolutely everything in this book – they are strong, engaging, have chemistry that you can feel on every page. I felt like I was fully immersed in them and their story from the word go. The story itself is so well written – it is action packed and full of twists and turns. It was a genuinely exciting book to read. The author has done a great job at developing the plot and keeping your interest as a reader. This book is definitely worth reading and I am looking forward to what is next from this author.
Happily Ever After will give you a warm happy feeling no matter the genre of romance you like. I read Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You by Marie Skye, and I really enjoyed it once I got into it, at first, I did feel a little lost and almost like this was the second part of a story, and I missed the first, but then once I got into the story, I just simply fell for Perrie and Ash and their crazy journey to each other in the most backwards forwards roundabout manner. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into the other stories.

Jordan’s Justice: A New Adult Sport Romance is the second book in the Tessa and Jordan duet by T. Christensen. This is an angsty and emotive New Adult romance and follows on from Breaking Tess (Book #1)- so if you have yet to read the first book in this duet- I highly suggest you do so before starting on this one, as there is a lot of backstory and important information in that first book, which you will need in order to fully appreciate this book. I had trouble connecting with the characters back in book one, and unfortunately I still didn’t connect with them the way I would have liked. Jordan really made it difficult to like him- he really frustrated me and made me angry with his actions, so I think that’s why he didn’t win me over- although I did warm to him a little in the end. I really felt for what Tessa had been through- but there was a lot of frustration there for me as well. This story takes place four years after the first book, and a loot has happened since then. Tessa has moved on with her life the best she can, doing her best to move forward- but the weight of responsibility weighs heavily on her. She has no time for anything else and definitely doesn’t need any drama or upheaval in her life- but that’s exactly what happens when Jordan shows up unexpectedly turning her life upside down once again. Get set for some angsty, emotive, and drama-filled reading. How will things turn out for Tessa? You will just have to read the story for yourself to discover what happens. I wonder what T. Christensen has in store for us next?

Matching Miriam by Mya O’Malley definitely makes for some engrossing reading. I have explored many of Ms. O’Malley’s books now and can always count on her to deliver a great story. This is a suspenseful crime story, woven with mystery, tension, drama, intrigue, romance, and more. We have met Miriam previously in the Maggie Trilogy/series. She is Naomi’s neighbour and good friend- but most importantly she is a dedicated, tough, kick-@$$ cop who is now working on the toughest case of her career- tracking down the Decade Killer. This is one wily serial killer, and Miriam will find herself tested in more ways than one. Especially when her former love returns to town. Juggling matters of the heart with tracking down a serial killer won’t be easy- leaving us guessing what will happen next, the whole way through. Looking forward to whatever Ms. O’Malley does next- she never disappoints!

I just had to get my hands on this book the moment I saw the cover. Ashley A Quinn is a new author to me, but I can assure this is not going to be the last novel I read by her. I cannot wait to go back and read book one of this series as soon as possible. Wildfire is the second book in The Broken Bow series but not reading book one yet was not a hindrance to this story at all.
Wildfire far exceeded all my expectations and then some. Quinn darn near set my kindle on fire with this romance and the drama and mystery that is woven through it. I adored Tara and Jace and together they were even more formidable. They just had to figure that out for themselves. I won’t give one single juicy detail away because this is one you just have to experience for yourself. You will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to get my hands on book three too!

Matching Miriam is a great psychological thriller by Mya O’Malley. I had first read Mya O’Malley’s books when I read her Maggie series and was even more delighted when I started reading this when I realised that this book includes Naomi who was the main character from the Maggie series. While this book does not contain the large paranormal content of the Maggie series there is still an inkling of the paranormal in this book. I loved the main character Detective Miriam Marty. She’s feisty and takes absolutely no nonsense from anyone, so when her ex Jesse comes back into her life she’s totally thrown and struggling to deal with him. Then, when Naomi tells her that she sees great danger coming her world is totally changed. This is a great psychological thriller that I absolutely loved reading. Mya O’Malley does an amazing job of keeping the reader totally hooked on the story and on the edge of their seats, wondering what’s going to happen to Miriam next. Is she really in as much danger as Naomi thinks she is? Is she willing to let Jesse back into her life and help keep her safe? I’d definitely recommend this book. The characters are very well written and the story flows extremely well, carrying you along on a journey that you won’t want to get off.
