Every time I read a book by Amy McKinley I don’t think that she could top it but once again she did it again with this read! I was captivated with this read from the very beginning it pulled me in with this brilliant storyline and even better characters. These characters bring us undeniable chemistry and ups and downs that really keep you hooked. This book took me on a journey one with the characters development and also with the emotions that go along with it! I thoroughly enjoyed this read and can’t wait to read more from this author! I highly recommend this read.

Holiday Terminal by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson is book one of The Warren Family Holidays series. I read this book in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down!
Penelope didn’t intend to get stuck at the airport in the middle of nowhere on Christmas Eve but now she has no choice but to wait out the snow storm. She never would have expected that the one person she didn’t think she’d ever see again would get stuck at the same airport. Nothing good could come from both Penelope and Artemis being stuck at the same airport, or so Penelope thinks.
I really enjoyed reading this book! It was a quick read because you get sucked in and don’t want to put it down. I could feel Penelope’s terror when she first saw Artemis and realized it could spell disaster for her. I also spent a bit of time being mad at Artemis. He has a few less than favorable moments. Overall, it was very well written and a great read!

Fletcher gets me every single time. Her stories five straight into my heart and leave such an impression. And to now hear the author narrate her own work. And with such brilliance. It took this beautiful book to a completely new level for me. If you are a fan of contemporary romance, you must read anything written by KG Fletcher. And now I will have to add that if you love to listen to contemporary romance, you have to listen to anything written and performed by her as well.

Sweet quick holiday read! Pen and Art have so many emotions running through them. The authors really know how to pull you in! I got frustrated and excited along with the characters in this story. Will have to look into the other books in the series!

I had the pleasure of previously reading this hard copy book and was thrilled to get the audio recording in my hands. Narrated works always take the story to a whole new level when done correctly. And I felt as though the two narrators of this work certainly added a layer of emotion with their interpretation of the author’s words. The storyline was compelling and I found myself entranced while listening to the story unfold. A great story that I will continue to recommend in both written and audio formats.

Lauren is a lounge singer it Atlanta. During a break one night, she finds herself in conversation with a male model. David is in Atlanta for his sister’s wedding. While enjoying a drink in the lounge at the hotel, he finds himself instantly attracted to the lead singer with the sultry voice. As a model, David’s world is chaotic and he has a hard time with a relationship because he doesn’t know if people are with him for the right reasons. But…there is something about Lauren that makes David want to try.
As Lauren tries to find a way to be a part of David’s world, she is quickly introduced the harsh reality that some people don’t want her there. While navigating the waters of a high profile relationship, there are ups and downs. However, the thing that endures every time is David’s belief that they can make it work. When tragedy strikes, they must decide if their relationship can actually survive.
I found myself immersed into the story from the first page. David and Lauren are both characters that I found myself rooting for. I could not put the book down until I got to the end…I needed to know what would happen….and I enjoyed every second of it!

Fletcher – Review by Rosanna Ingram
This is an enjoyable and engaging standalone story which had me happily turning the pages late until the night as I could not put it down once I had started reading. I fell in love with the characters and so then felt invested in their story and I was fully immersed in their world. The storyline is a love at first sight, opposites attract romance between Lauren and David and it also involves their worlds of music and fashion colliding. Lauren Rose sings classic love songs in posh hotel lounges as well as teaching theatre to kids whilst waiting for her big break. British supermodel David Randle is in need of a break from his successful modelling career and the launch of his high-fashion debut cologne, Drive. The couple first meet when Lauren is singing at the hotel David is staying at for his sister’s wedding. Their instant attraction and chemistry, which literally sizzled off the page, led to David inviting Lauren to New York. Lauren is then worried that she might be a distraction to his fashion shoot to promote his new cologne and his assistant is also trying to interfere with their new relationship. The celebrity couple have to learn to navigate the world of fame and fashion or their relationship could be over before it really began. This is a wonderfully written heartwarming romance between two likeable and relatable strong characters. It is fairly fast paced and has, romance, drama and suspense, all of which had me hooked. The narrative really brings the characters to life as well as the worlds of music and fashion which make a great backdrop to the story. The book contains some very sexy scenes between the couple and so is recommended for adult readers. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and as usual was not disappointed with a book by K.G. Fletcher.

Holiday Terminal was such a great 5 star read. Just what I needed in my life right now. This second chance romance had everything I always want to see in a book. Artemis Warren and Penelope Barnes met one summer on the beach in Cape Harmony. Artemis was vacationing with his rich high profile family and of course they didn’t want their oldest son involved with a local girl. Artie and Penelope fell in love that summer. Unfortunately Artie left at the end of the summer and him and Penelope never spoke after that. Now 6 years later they are both flying to their respective homes but both planes need to make an emergency landing because of a really bad snow storm with whiteout conditions. What are the odds that these two long lost lovers have to land at the same airport, on the same day, at the same time ? It must’ve been fate. What will happen when these two come face to face? Penelope has feared this moment and now she has no choice but to face it head on and tell him the truth. She really doesn’t have to tell him because he can see it with his own eyes. I absolutely loved this book and wish there were more just like this one.

This was a lovely second chance at love Christmas romance which left me with a feel good factor and put me in the festive spirit. When Penelope Barnes and son Max get stranded at a tiny airport in the middle of nowhere on Christmas Eve she thinks things can not get any worse but then Artemis Warren, her first love and the man who broke her heart walks into the terminal. Whilst Penelope has been transported back to being a teenager left on the beach wishing the boy would choose her, Artemis is happy to be reunited with the only woman he’s ever loved. Due to an emergency landing he’s been stranded as well and just wanted to go back to civilisation until he spots Penelope and hopes to turn the bad situation into the opportunity of a lifetime. However, old wounds can be hard to heal and both of them have created new lives and then there’s the secret that Penelope is hiding that will have consequences for both their lives. I loved Penelope and Artemis who were both likeable and relatable and I was cheering them on hoping they would both get their happy ever after, especially as it’s Christmas and a little Christmas magic was just what the couple needed. Max was also a lovely character. The storyline flowed well and the descriptive narrative made the characters and the setting come alive. I found the cold, snowy Christmas Eve to be a really Christmasy backdrop to the story. It was an enjoyable and engaging read which had me hooked from the start and I felt immersed in the story, making this a perfect book for the festive period.

Claim Me Now by Lea Nolan is the second book in the Heron Harbor series. This book can be read as a stand-alone and is a great story with strong and interesting characters. I always love a story when the characters don’t know the full extent of who the other is so I was excited to start reading this book. Jack and Raven worked so well together. They had such a strong chemistry right from the moment they met. Their journey was one that had highs and lows which only made them more interesting to read about. I couldn’t wait to see what would happen when they discovered the truth about each other. The overall story I thought was well written. The author has a found balance between developing the story and providing a level of detail to keep your attention. This isn’t the first book that I have read by this author but it is definitely one of my favourites. I will definitely be going back to read the first book in this series and I would recommend this book to anyone.

Holiday Terminal: (A Second Chance Secret Baby Billionaire Holiday Romance) (The Warren Family Holidays #1) by Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson
This is the first book I’ve read by either author. It won’t be my last as I’ll be watching for others. This book was fantastic and I know others will love it.
Penelope is a single mom and is stuck in a little tiny airport. The last thing she wants is to be stranded on Christmas Eve with her mom and son. The straw that breaks her is her son’s father being in the same airport, stranded as well. The quote I chose for Penelope is: “Seeing is believing, Artemis. And I haven’t seen anything that suggests you’re any different than your family. I’m sorry, but I just can’t believe that. Your promises may be enough for Max, and of course, he would love if you moved to Nashville to be close to him, but they aren’t for me. I can’t give you my heart again. I’m sorry. I just can’t.”
Artemis didn’t want to spend Christmas Eve in an airport. He wanted to be at the family party to announce something. What he doesn’t know is that the one he keeps thinking about is there. In the tiny airport. The quote I chose for Artemis is: “Penelope. I think you and I need to have a little chat.”
Highly recommended for contemporary romance lovers.

Second Chance eX-mas is a great contemporary romance by N.D. Jackson. At 123 pages it is a quick, but very enjoyable read. I devoured it in a few hours. It’s always a worry when you try out a new author but this was a very pleasant surprise as I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ally and Archer had been the perfect couple until he broke it off and went away to join the military. Years later he is back home and he wants Ally back but Ally has a huge surprise for him. A gorgeous little girl called Glory. For me Glory was totally the star of this book. She’s absolutely adorable and very quickly has Archer totally twisted around her perfect little finger. I really loved reading Ally and Archer’s story. Both are amazing characters that I fell in love with. Ally’s been hurt badly by Archer and is vert sceptical about letting him back into her life although she won’t stop him seeing Glory. Archer is determined to win Ally back and for the three of them to be a family. Although this is a short read, there is so much packed into this story. It’s angsty, romantic and had me hooked from the very beginning and I didn’t put it down until I finished it. A great read!

5 stars! I LOVE a holiday romance. This book delivered in putting me in the Christmas spirit and giving me all sorts of feelings. I really love when the characters miscommunicate with each other, that may sound weird, but when I see the hurt caused by miscommunication my heart jumps a little because I know that everything will be okay in the end. Penelope and Artemis are beautiful together, I love them as a couple. Penelope did annoy me at times but overall, I understand why they were in the situation they were in. If they would have just talked everything out, things may have been different by now, but, being young and immature the first thing in your mind is to run, so that is what Penelope did. I was nervous for a minute when Artemis finds out about Max but knew deep down that everything would work out, it’s a holiday romance after all. I really enjoyed meeting all these characters, and quickly got lost in the story, I can’t wait to see what is next and would highly recommend this read.

Holiday Terminal (Warren Family Holidays) by Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson. This is a great second chance romance read. Its the story of Penelope and Artemis who meet on the beach one summer and fall in love. Artemis is from a very prominent New York family and Penelope is a shop owner’s daughter. As the summer comes to a close a misunderstanding leaves them both with a broken heart. Penelope goes on to be a single mom and works in Nashville while Artemis continues on the families wishes of running the family business as an attorney. They both still think of each other but know they will never reconnect. 6 years after that summer Penelope, her mom and son Max are flying back to the beach for Christmas when the run into a freak snowstorm. They are stuck in a small terminal with no where to go and Penelope thinks its horrible until she runs right into Artemis who is stuck in the same terminal on his way to New York. Once Artemis sees her son Max he realizes Penelope has kept a secret from him for 6 years. Will they be able to reconnect and rekindle their relationship and be a real family or will they have even more miscommunication and lose each other forever. This is a steamy, sweet holiday read.

After being fired from her job, Raven escapes to a beach house to get away (and drown her sorrows in a bottle of tequila). Jack, a workaholic, also heads to the beach to seek refuge from the stress of company takeovers. As luck would have it, Jack and Raven end up in the same house. Neither is in the market for a relationship…but a couple of steamy days with a stranger is something they both agree on. Mother Nature, however, has different plans and puts them in situations neither of them expected. As they begin to open up to each other, and truths start coming to light, they find out that they have quite a bit more in common than they thought…and that’s not necessarily a good thing. Can they look beyond their jobs to make a real go at a relationship…or are they meant to be just a fling? I enjoyed both Raven and Jack’s characters (even if I wanted to bop both of them upside the head a few times). There were some steamy scenes which I enjoyed and story line that kept me turning the pages til the end. I read the first book in this series, but this book can definitely be read as a standalone. There are some supporting characters in this story that I loved! This is a series that I will continue reading as more are published.

If you want a feel good Christmas book then give this a read you will not be disappointed. It gave me the feels of a hallmark movie. Chloe is a strong independent woman who thinks she can do everything on her own without a man. Until Jason swoops in and steals her promotion, except it seems he is more interested in his top advertiser Chloe than the job he has just been given. Can he convince Chloe he is not the bad guy in all this.

Be Brave With Me by CA Miconi and J.B.Havens Five Stars
Be Brave With Me is the first book in the Finding Love in Green Springs series by J.B. Havens and CA Miconi. This series is going to be both heartbreaking and heartwarming if this first installment is any inclination. This book had me on an emotional roller coaster. I have to say this is the first book of the year that left me with a book hangover. I had to have a box of tissues on hand. The main characters, Meg and Drew, are both broken and dealing with loss. I would highly recommend this book and look forward to reading the next book in this series.
Tyler Darby and Tara Langella narrated this book with such feeling and emotion. They really brought the characters to life. Their voices blended well together and the southern accents were wonderful. I look forward to listening to more books narrated by these two! Review by @sunbarn View all my reviews

Holiday Terminal: (A Second Chance Secret Baby Billionaire Holiday Romance) (The Warren Family Holidays Book 1) By Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson
I enjoyed reading this holiday romance. This book is full of romance, forgiveness, passion, great characters, and some heated moments. There was a lot of pent up emotion between Art and Pen, and seeing each other again while stranded at the airport brought all those feelings to forefront. Even though this was a quick read for me there was still plenty of emotion and dialog between the characters. This is a good mature holiday read and I recommend this book. I have read other books by Gwyn McNamee and she never disappoints.

Penelope is flying home for Christmas with her son, Max, and her mother. However, a snow storm forces them to land at a small-town airport until the storm passes. Hoping it will only be a couple of hours, the three of them hunker down in the terminal to wait out the storm…hoping to be home in time to open presents in the morning. Artemis is on his way to New York where he plans to make a big announcement to his family. Due to the weather, he must land at an airport in the middle of nowhere and wait for the storm to pass. Imagine his surprise when he sees the girl from his past, who has grown into a beautiful woman, as another stranded passenger. The past between Penelope and Artemis is a mix of young love and heartbreak. Both of them have their own ideas about what happened on the beach years ago…but it seems as though both of them have it wrong. Years of not talking has led to a mix of longing, anger, and distrust. Can they reignite the flame they once had? Or are secrets from the past (and Artemis’ last name) going to keep them apart once again? I enjoyed this book and read it all in one sitting. It was an easy read and a really good story. Penelope and Artemis are both great characters who just need a little slap upside their heads to knock some sense into them…but, then again, most adults do! I enjoyed the story and will be checking out Archie’s book when it is released.

All I Want for Christmas by Vivian Fiano was a great 5 star read.
Kinsley is excited and planning for when Brysen comes home on leave for the holidays. She hasn’t seen him in months. But she ends up getting a call that ends up ruining her plans and breaking her heart. Brysen feels terrible for having to break his girls heart but he has a mission to complete. Will he be able to make it up to Kinsley?
Overall I really enjoyed this short read, there is an unexpected twist that makes your heart melt. My heart went out to Kinsley coming from a military family myself it does get difficult not having family home for the holidays. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. We also get a glimpse into another read following the ending of this one. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1-click and get started today on this holiday romance.

I absolutely loved this Christmas short story. I literally finished in one afternoon. My emotions were all over the place, I was almost in tears and I felt heartache in one part but felt happy pretty much the rest of the way. This is my first read by this author but definitely not my last. I definitely plan on checking out more. Kinsley and Brysen’s short story. She’s been waiting on Brysen to get home from his deployment but one phone call may change that. Brysen is a pilot and has found himself in some seriously dangerous situations but this one may be the most dangerous one of all . Find out what happens next in this must read. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

I’ve always enjoyed a good military romance and I am a sucker for anything Christmas so this story was an immediate interest. I love that All I Want For Christmas by Vivian Fiano was a short story that I could enjoy it all at once! Lucky for me it had been snowing the weekend I chose to enjoy it, great for setting the tone. This was the first I have read by Vivian Fiano and I would definitely be interested in reading more by this author. While I liked the plot and the story overall, I was not a huge fan of Kinsley. I am curious if the story had been longer, if she would become a character I would grow to love. All I Want for Christmas really did deliver overall, a short but sweet holiday romance. I would give it 4 stars and most definitely recommend.

I really enjoyed this romance story. I loved the twists and turns and how fate has a plan for the two lead characters no matter how much they fight it.
Raven is a strong successful business woman but when she is fired from her job she retreats to her family home hoping for a weekend of alone time and peace. That is until Jack arrives.
Jack is a friend of Raven’s sister who rented him the cottage without telling her sister. So imagine both Jack and Ravens surprise when they realise the mistake.
After not finding a solution apart from sharing the house the attraction between them grows. However Jack is hiding a secret which could destroy their relationship before it even begins.
Can they survive Jack’s secret? Can they stop the attraction between them growing? Can they build something new together or will they fall apart?

Second Chance eX-mas is a super sweet, sassy, and cute Christmas story. It follows Archer Black and Ally Faulkner, first loves that lost everything they had back in college.
When Archer makes it back home to Blissful for the first time in six years, Ally’s whole world is turned upside down. Ally’s surprise for Archer leaves him speechless, but more determined than ever to win back what he mistakenly left behind.
I very much enjoyed this story and read it in less than 12 hours! Such a cute story!!

Run to the Sea (Reigning Hearts Book One) AUDIO BOOK by KG Fletcher
5 ++++ Stars
Emeline and Cappy’s story in the author’s own voice..OH MY!
It’s been well over a year since I read the ebook version of this story and when I saw that it was released on audio I was thrilled, but then I saw that the author was reading this book herself, I was totally over the moon. Who better to put the feelings into the words then the author herself! I’m glad it has been awhile since I read it because it’s been long enough to where it still felt fresh and I fell in love all over again!
I loved these people and the story about their bond as teens and how they came back together as friends dealing with the loss of a character who quickly became one of my favorites in this book. The scene with the box and the missing ring literally took my breath away and that’s when Pop completely won my heart.
I love how she transported me right into the story, I could see everything clearly and feel like I was right there in the same room with these people. I’m so excited that she has also done the reading and has released Stars Fall From The Sky on Audio as well as that book stands up in some of my all time favorites, I loved Ginger in this story and can’t wait to add this to my audible library.
Grab this book or grab this audible, it is amazing and I’m sure you will love following Emeline and Cappy’s story as much as I did. This author did an amazing job narrating and my only fear now is that I’ll never want to read another of her books because I will want her to read them to me! LOL and of course I’m kidding because I’ll read anything this author writes!!
Phenomenal!!

I sincerely enjoyed this story. This is my third book by this author and I’m loving each of the books I’ve read more and more and she has become an automatic one click for me.
This was a second chance romance that takes place during the holidays and gave me everything I wanted in a Christmas story. I must say I loved all the characters in this book but my two favorites were Cindy and of course Glory. I loved Ally and Archer and loved their story but it’s the first time I think I’ve ever read a book where the secondary characters really made the book for me.
I read this book in less than an hour and a half and really was sad when it was over, I had fallen into total “bliss” while reading and really felt like I was right there watching it all play out.
I highly recommend picking this one up if you’re looking for a feel good Christmas story. This one has it all.

I am so lucky to have found this novel by CA Miconi and JB Havens, both new to me authors that I have got to do some more reading/listening of in the very near future! I loved this novel and how well it flowed and created this little town and characters that I found it very hard to deny myself the love for. I was only going to listen to a few chapters in the morning before some errands and ended up not. I had to listen to this novel in one go because I just couldn’t pull myself away. The hardest part of the book was the ending because I just could never get enough of this. I found solace in the fact this is book one of a series and I am so excited to see what other love stories we get from Green Springs.
Meg has been running hard, long, and fast from the past demons of her life when she stumbles into the town of Green Springs and smack dab into the life of Drew. Both of these people have a delicate and sad past that has made them the people they are today. Drew sees the pain in Meg’s eyes the moment he meets her and he wants so badly to help heal the brokenness she feels. He will need her to ‘be brave’ with him and trust him enough to stay and try. But Meg has a deep and long past and trust and bravery are not her strong suit because of it. Will she be able to be brave and stay? Can these two be the pieces they need to put themselves back together? For that and the beautiful story these two have you will have to trust me and one click this novel today! You won’t be sad you took a trip to Green Springs. I can’t wait to go back!

I enjoyed this Christmas romance story. This is a shorter story that brings Christmas spirit and magic together. This is a well developed story that has characters that made the story easy to read and entertaining. They are connectable and really made the story pop. Audra is up for a promotion but so is her co-worker Charlie. There is an attraction between them that has been ignored until now. After she ends up in his bed, will she take a chance on an office romance even if they have been proven to be bad? I really enjoyed these two and made the story for me. Their attraction is off the charts. Will they find their HEA? I highly recommend this book.
