IRRESISTIBLE - FALL INTO ROMANCE (Irresistible Romance Book 5)IRRESISTIBLE – FALL INTO ROMANCE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Irresistible – Fall Into Romance anthology is the fifth book in the Irresistible Romance series. This is another great collection of romance stories by various authors who are all brilliant in their own right. As with the other box sets in this series each of these books are different from the other so there is no trouble with telling them all apart and really getting invested in each of the stories.
This anthology has a great mix of everything you could want out of romantic stories – great characters, entertaining story and a lot of sweetness and love. I have definitely enjoyed each and everyone of these books and can definitely say you will be able to find something you like. For me this is a great way to introduce yourself to these authors if you haven’t read any of them before and I would suggest getting this box set immediately.

IRRESISTIBLE - FALL INTO ROMANCE (Irresistible Romance Book 5)IRRESISTIBLE – FALL INTO ROMANCE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This Irresistible – Fall Into Romance anthology is a collection of Stories by 8 amazing authors: Tamara Ferguson, Natalie Ann Suzanne Jenkins, Cynthia Cooke, Alicia Street, Jen Talty, Angela Stevens and Patrice Wilton. I love when a new one of these anthologies comes out as I get to read some great authors all wrapped up in one neat package.
One think I love mot about these anthologies is that they usually contain a book by Tamara Ferguson who has become a favourite of mine over the last year or so.
The offering from Tamara Ferguson in this anthology is Two Hearts Truce. I have now read several of the Two Hearts books and I am a huge fan of them. This one was no different as I was hooked from the beginning as it started with a flashback to another Two Hearts couple that I adored in Christine and Jeremy Northrup.
The hero couple in this book are Jeremy’s sister Amanda and his sergeant Jeff. I loved reading this second chance romance. Amanda is an amazing character trying to come to terms with a horrific event from her past and is scared of getting into a relationship. Jeff is an amazing guy and the support he gives Amanda is second to none, I just adored him.
This is just one great read in this anthology. We are totally spoiled for choice in getting 8 great reads to occupy the autumn evenings.

Secure Heart (Chase Security Series Book 3)Secure Heart by R.L. Dunn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Secure Heart (Chase Security Series Book 3) by R.L. Dunn does not fail to deliver and this third book is just as enthralling as the previous two. It is nonstop thrills and action and this enticing fast paced story sees lots happening. R.L. keeps us entertained with lots of players and masters the art of giving us something that will have you on the edge of your seat and your heart pounding, the tension rising and your emotions on high. I can’t say enough about my love of the Chase Group stories and the characters. It is full of action and danger, secrets and lies, heartache and love, suspense and mystery, lies and deceit, alpha hot men and strong women. As you journey along with the wonderful characters your heart will be pumping, jaw clenching and times your heart will melt.
The book will have you biting nails and on the edge of your seat. Not one to be missed.

IRRESISTIBLE - FALL INTO ROMANCE (Irresistible Romance Book 5)IRRESISTIBLE – FALL INTO ROMANCE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read 1 of these amazing stories, but I will be going back to read the rest over the next couple of weeks to add more to my thoughts here.
I read Tamara Ferguson’s book and like all her other stories I was hooked to see what would transpire in this one.
Amanda and Jeff dated years ago and after something happened, things shifted and they split. Now they’re back in the same town and feelings are high. Can they make a go of it this time, or will Amanda’s past be the barrier keeping them moving forward? Or even Jeff’s job?
I really enjoyed these two and they had such a great story, very believable and relatable and I love that.

Self Made (Freshwater BOOK 2) by Belinda Williams – Review by Jennifer Gordon

Self Made (Freshwater Book 2)Self Made by Belinda Williams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this contemporary romance by Belinda Williams, ‘Self Made’ is book two in the ‘Freshwater’ series and we are back in beachside Sydney with another high-achieving women and the man who is not afraid to be challenged by her. It can be read as a standalone story although the setting and some characters do crossover books. Jessica Jinks is the face of her online fitness brand and with her business going from strength to strength she is feeling pretty confident. Even when tasked with transforming comedian and co-host of an evening current affairs show, Ant Monticello, “from unfit to ripped in three months” and with the whole country watching his progress Jess is positive she can deliver. However when she meets Ant and he wants to go for fast food before his cardio exercise, Jess realises the challenge she’s up against.
The more Jess and Ant work together on his fitness, diet and exercise Jess is shocked that Ant actually makes her pulse race and she loves that he makes her laugh. Ant meanwhile is determined to turn himself into the man Jess wants and loves making her laugh. Jess is very aware that with the country watching and the success of her business relying on his transformation that Ant is definitely off limits and so even though she’s attracted to him she keeps things professional. As Ant undergoes his transformation physically he also starts to change his personality and Jess realises that he’s changing in a bad way and that maybe Ant was perfect just as he was, but how does that leave her business.
This was another wonderful romantic story with some great characters and a lovely setting, which the authors detailed descriptions really made come alive. I loved Jess and Ant as they were both so relatable in different ways and I and was really cheering them on wanting them to both get their happy ever after. The chemistry between the couple really came across in the narrative and I liked how their relationship developed throughout the story. The storyline had plenty of drama along with the romance and the plot along with the characters had me hooked from beginning to end. This was an enjoyable and fun read, and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Self Made (Freshwater BOOK 2) by Belinda Williams – Review by Kerry Baker

Self Made (Freshwater Book 2)Self Made by Belinda Williams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Self Made by Belinda Williams is the second book in the Freshwater series. This book can be read as a standalone. The characters and their chemistry are what make this book entirely. They have a great connection that you can feel from the moment they meet and it carries on throughout the whole book.
The overall story is fun and entertaining as well. You find yourself easily becoming engaged with the storyline and wanting to see how it is all going to end. Belinda Williams isn’t an author I am overly familiar with but she is someone that I definitely want to read more of. I enjoyed her writing style, the whole book has a great pace to it and the words just seemed to flow really well. It didn’t take much to get into this book right from the start and the whole thing was really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend giving this book a try!

Self Made (Freshwater BOOK 2) by Belinda Williams – Review by Carrie Reed

Self Made (Freshwater Book 2)Self Made by Belinda Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 stars!!

Such a wonderful book! The story really pulled me in, I could not put this book down. The characters were all really well written. The chemistry between the 2 main characters, Anthony and Jess was off the charts. I love how Jess was into Anthony no matter what he looked like. I can understand why Anthony wouldn’t want to commit to Jess in the form of marriage and children due to his childhood and his father, BUT I also was so mad that he couldn’t see he wasn’t like his dad, and he would be perfect for her. When he decided to date the annoying Alicia, my heart broke for Jess, and then there was that one night that almost ruined everything for them. I was very pleased with the ending, but could have really done with an epilogue! I want to see how Jess and Ant ended up, but I am holding out hope I will see them in the next book. This is book 2 in the series, but it can be read as a standalone.

Self Made (Freshwater BOOK 2) by Belinda Williams – Review by Liz Vrchota

Self Made (Freshwater Book 2)Self Made by Belinda Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As soon as I saw there was a second Freshwater book from Belinda Williams available, I one-clicked without a second thought. This one was just as gripping and fabulous as the first and I am so happy I dove in head first. In Self Made we get the story of Ant and Jessica, two characters that I instantly fell in love with and was cheering for to find that happily ever after. Jessica is on top of the world and making her gym business soar. The challenge that Ant presents to her is one she feels she will overwhelmingly win at but is met with much more of a challenger than she anticipated. Ant is fun and light hearted and in love with his fast food. His comedian side keeps the book lighthearted and one that elicits lots of laughter as you read. I especially loved the premise of what if he was perfect from the get go? Does the body have to match the personality? I can’t wait to check out the rest of the series!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a lovely teenage romance that just goes to show that a summer fling doesn’t have to just be a fling. The characters are well written and engaging and the story is relatable to young people

Kara and Bear are two young people who are both moving forward in their lives. Kara to university and Bear to work with his dad in the family business.

During the summer Bear wants to enjoy his time teaching kids to skateboard and even though Kara would love an adventure with her best friend Toby family commitments means its not possible.

However when they meet their summers seem to be looking up. Is this just a summer fling? Or will their romance last longer than either of them expect it too.

Secure Heart (Chase Security Series #3) by R.L. Dunn – Review by Rosanna Ingram

Secure Heart (Chase Security Series Book 3)Secure Heart by R.L. Dunn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am loving this series!! It is dangerous and sexy…emotional and thrilling…I just can’t get enough.

This is third book of the series and focuses on Julian. Julian has recently become the head of Chase Security’s San Diego branch. He is digging himself out of a past that has beaten him down. Upon arriving in San Diego, he finds out that Chase medical is endangering its patients and putting their lives at risk. One of those lives belongs to a little girl named Sadie. Sadie is suffering from the same condition that took Julian’s wife from him…but he is determined to save her. Her mother, Holly, has her own past demons that force her to keep her walls up. However, when Holly and Julian are together, the chemistry is definitely there. However, more danger lurks around the corner when a serial kidnapper targets women and their children. Julian, and the rest of Chase Security, are trying to find out who is behind everything while keeping everyone safe.

I found myself really invested in both Holly and Julian. Their pasts had me hoping that each of them would find happiness and not be faced with heartbreak again. Holly is a strong character and not quick to let a man take care of her…and I loved that about her. This is another great book in this series and I am looking forward to Zach’s story next!

They meet by chance and then end up working together. While Kara just wants some fun for the summer, Bear is a focused on the future and how to get there and when. This is a fun summer read you can just get lost in. I enjoyed all the secondary characters as well, they added to this story which makes it even better.
Will be reading more from this author.

I found this book rather enjoyable, especially watching the character, Ant, transform from being the cute and funny guy but into a hottie right before her eyes. Jessica is also trying to remain professional as she helps transform him into more than meets the eye but all good things aren’t made of gold as his whole personality transforms. This story was a classic movie turned book for me because it’s an interesting dynamic that makes for an incredible read.

If you love a chick lit this is the book for you, its light hearted and had me laughing on occasions. I like how it has both POV from Kara and Bear. Kickflick summer had me hooked from the start as I couldn’t wait to see where their relationship was going to go when they crossed paths, Kara has just become a young woman waiting to start university and she needs to find her way in the world away from her family whilst Bear worries about the shoulders he has to fill and whether he is up to the challenge, this made it great as they each have their own journey of discovery throughout whilst their worlds collide. I wish I could read this book for the first time all over again. Great writing and can’t wait to read her next book.  Danielle Jack has wrote a great book about first love and new adventures.

IRRESISTIBLE - FALL INTO ROMANCE (Irresistible Romance Book 5)IRRESISTIBLE – FALL INTO ROMANCE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a lovely collection of romance stories from different authors. Each author has a unique way of telling their stories and their characters are well written and easy to fall in love with.

One of my favourites is Two Hearts Truce by Tamara Ferguson. It follows the story of Jeff and Amanda. Brought into each others lives by Amanda’s brother Jeremy, Jeff and Amanda fight and bicker like cat and dog. In the past after a small time together they separated which left Amanda heartbroken and unable to trust Jeff.

With secrets she kept hidden for all these years can she now finally trust Jeff enough to reveal them? Can they both work around their past and make amends and work towards a future or is it a case of two much time has passed? Can love last the test of time and still remain strong?

It was a captivating story and definately a roller coaster of emotions.

This was another great addition to this series, and I swear the more I read from this author the more I fall in love with her books and writing style. Holly and Julian are the characters in this story and boy are they an amazing combination with the connection and chemistry. The book is written amazing where it just flows and the storyline is strong. I had trouble putting this book down for the simple fact I got lost in its world. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Kickflip SummerKickflip Summer by Danielle Jacks
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kickflip Summer is a sweet romance novel from Danielle Jacks. I had never read any of this author’s work before so I was unsure what to expect. What I got was an enjoyable read with characters that I really liked and could relate to.
Kara has just finished school and is looking for a summer of fun with best friend Toby before heading off to college. What she doesn’t expect is to meet up again with Bear (Julian) who had been her niece’s skateboarding coach.
I really enjoyed reading Kara and Bear’s story. It’s obvious straight away that they both like each other but both have stuff going on in their personal lives and a relationship isn’t what either had in mind.
Kara and Bear are both great characters and a loved them both. I have to admit to not being a fan of Toby. I know he is Kara’s best friend but I didn’t like the way that he treated her at times, especially where Bear was concerned, although I expect that this is what the author had in mind.
Running through the story is a storyline about family and how important your family is. I also really enjoyed this added storyline and have to add that I loved Kara’s family. They were so supportive of her.
Overall I really enjoyed this sweet romance story.

Secure Heart (Chase Security Series Book 3)Secure Heart by R.L. Dunn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This has been a fun series to follow and this book being the third, I would suggest reading the previous two before diving into this one. We really grow and get to know the Chase Security team throughout them but the characters overlap from book to book. Dunn really has a knack for writing a well developed and layered story. I love that the romance is simply a layer, not the whole read, and in doing so it becomes an enhancement not a chore to read. I was anxious to get my hands on this one and discover more of Julian, and was he as smooth and sexy as I ever expected. Holly and Sadie bring a sweet and sassy side to the story and kept me giggling at times with some of Sadies antics and points of view. I really look forward to seeing what we will get in the next installment.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Irresistible – Fall Into Romance a great collection of stories by some amazing authors. All of these stories bring something to the collection, I adore these types of collections as they bring authors to my attention that I may have missed and they bring authors that I have read before and brought them to my fore front, authors like Jen Talty who I had read previously but not for a long time, and I don’t know Whisky Sour lit a flame under me, it has romance and passion and just strong characters who make you care for them, care about what happens to them. Then you have Ignore my Heart by Alicia Street, an author I haven’t read previously but will be checking again, as oh my goodness I thought it was going to break my heart, but in the end it warmed it so much I thought it may set a flame. I can’t wait to try my hand at another of their stories. Another favourite of mine was Tamara Ferguson as it made me remember the two Hearts Wounded Warrior series and they encapsulate your heart and don’t want to let go. Overall This is a collection you don’t want to miss, especially when you think of the quality and amount of words you get for the price.

IRRESISTIBLE – FALL INTO ROMANCE (Irresistible Romance Book 5) I’m a sucker for a great set of stories that pull at my heart. That’s exactly what the set of stories has done. Each one brought me all the feelings. Each one with amazing characters that were all so easy to connect with and had me lost in each of their worlds for a bit. One of my favorite things about an anthology is I get to visit new authors as well as some authors I already love. I think anthologies are a great way to bring authors together and readers also. This set pulled at every single heart string I’ve got an I truly loved every minute of it. I had a couple favorites I’ll be honest one of which was Two Hearts Truce each character pulled me in from beginning to end and I was sad to leave them but there was more to read! Another favorite was The Lies between Us this one really kept me on the edge of my seat. While I say those are favorites I promise you each story is awesome! Five huge stars and highly recommended!

It’s so hard to choose favourites when you enjoy all of them but as always I have to mention Tamara Ferguson! I absolutely adore her stories long and short! The characters she creates are just amazing and in the story included in this anthology Two Hearts Truce they were just as I expected wonderful, relatable characters who you just cannot fail to take into your heart. I love how her stories are always different, nothing is every the same. I also really enjoyed Whiskey sour by Jen Talty – I fell in love with this story straight away, Boone was so lovely and I desperately wanted everything to work out for him – there was definitely some chemistry going on in this story. I’ve read a few stories by this author now and I love her writing style, she never fails to engage me and writes about wonderful characters! Another story I really enjoyed was Falling into Love by Natalie Ann, this was a really nice read with wonderful characters.
Overall another AMAZING anthology that I would 100% recommend!
