The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton – Review by Erin Wolf

The Matchmaker's Match (Man's Best Friend, #3)The Matchmaker’s Match by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I give The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton, 4 stars.

Meredith just got out a bad relationship. She decided she doesn’t need a man in her life. However, she sees a sexy man during her layover and decides to go for it. One night stands are not her thing, but it could help get over her ex. Never in a million years would she guess that same man she met in another state would be best man at her best friend’s wedding. And somehow she keeps running into him. Just when she has her life figured out, the powers that be seem to work against her. Is he what she really needs or just another wrench in her plan? And what does he want?

This is a great addition to the series. To be honest, Meredith annoyed me in the beginning of the book. But that is the point and she grows exponentially throughout the book. Lincoln has been a bachelor for so long and has no interest in having kids, but he startd to see things differently when he meets her. He changes in his own way too. The story of the two of them is quite interesting and very realistic. Throw in the dogs, and it gets even better!!

This is a contemporary romance revolving around therapy dogs and I highly recommend it.

Wayward (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 1)Wayward by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wayward was a great 5 star read and book one in the Billionaire Bodyguards series.
I was pulled right from the beginning and didn’t want to put it down. Jay is the head of the security team and Sasha is a ballerina from Russia.

Jay is called in to help Sasha and he’s not happy with what he finds at the club. Ever since Jay saw Sasha he’s always had a thing for her, so his protectiveness kicks in full force. When he finds out that she has ties to the Mafia and is in danger, he is determined to keep her safe.

Will Jay be able to keep her safe?

There are so many twists and turns. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next and my emotions were all over the place. All of the secondary characters were great. Via Mari’s writing pulls you right in, you feel like your right there with the characters, the detail is great. I highly recommend reading this series, you will love it. I look forward to reading more from Via Mari and this series.

4 out of 5 stars

Wayward is not my first experience with Via Mari’s writing, it’s the first of the third series I’ve read. While it isn’t necessary to read all of the books in each series, there are characters that show up throughout each and it’s always fun to see how lives are intertwined.
Via Mari has a talent for crafting hot and steamy chemistry between characters with strong storylines. I used to have a preconceived notion that if a book was sexy it couldn’t have substance too, Via Mari shatters that misconception with each book I read.
I have to say I loved Wayward and it may have been my favorite Via Mari book thus far. I look forward to seeing what more is to come.

Another awesome story from Via Mari. This author does an exceptional job pulling me into her wonderfully detailed, action packed stories. This book is no exception, there is plenty of steamy, dangerous, and suspenseful moments in this read. I was happy to see that some of the characters from the Prestian series are in this series, it’s like visiting old friends. You don’t need to have read her previous series to follow this book but I do recommend reading them to enhance your experience and also because they are great books. This book is Jay and Sasha’s story and I found myself unable to put this book down as soon as I started reading it. This read is full of emotion throughout and I became completely invested in what happens with Jay and Sasha. This is a must read if you want to find out where the story goes for these two. I highly recommend this book.

Another great story from this series. These may be very quick reads, but what a punch they pack! You get alot of need to know information along with the story and none of the extra fluff, so its a very fast read.
Meredith is best friends with Isabelle, from book 1. You don’t need to read that one to read this one, but you’ll want to,to get her story. Meredith is starting her plans in motion after life hit her hard. She doesn’t expect to see someone from a month ago, or anything that happens after.

I really loved this book, it was different but also sweet and funny. Highly recommend

The Matchmaker's Match (Man's Best Friend, #3)The Matchmaker’s Match by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Matchmaker’s Match is the third book in Nicole Flockton’s Man’s Best Friend series where the matchmaker meets his own match after a one night stand and a string of bad decisions … who knew that this one night stand will become a turning point that will have an impact on the rest of his life? You can read this story as a standalone but be not surprised if you find yourself reaching for Ethan’s story at the minimum!
Our matchmaker is Lincoln Forest who helped his best friend Ethan to meet the woman of his dreams and who also manages to have a one night stand with the said woman’s best friend Meredith! Can you imagine coming face to face with your one night stand at the rehearsal dinner and you can imagine how both of them are beyond socked! Throw into the mix Meredith’s health scare, four legged cuties, misreading of situations and you get yourself a beautiful story that makes you feel warm and fuzzy and you will find yourself finishing the story in one sitting!

Wayward (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 1)Wayward by Via Mari
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wayward is the first book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. You can read this story without having to read the other series associated with it, but if you want to know more about the characters you should read the Prestian series and Torzial Affair series to get more background on them.

When I first ran across the Sasha character (in a previous series), I didn’t like her very much. She was creating a lot of drama. In Wayward, you get a better understanding of why she is the way she is. I changed the way I felt about her in this book.

As you read this story you are likely to feel a wide range of emotions. The story keeps up a good pace and has characters you can connect to. Suspense, steamy scenes, danger…overall a great read.

….and just like that she did it again….

I have read both of the series before this one and absolutely loved them, this one comes out of the gate with a bang and had me totally hooked just like the rest immediately. I love the direction this series has taken and love even more that we get to see the other side of things a bit as well as some of our returning favorite people from the earlier books. Many thanks to this author for giving us more 🙂

I loved this one and the fact the main character has the same first name as my hubby was kind of fun, that’s the first time that has happened in the trillion books I’ve read and I loved it.

I’ll be honest I wasn’t sure about Sasha at first and a lot of that might be carry over but it didn’t take long for me to get an understanding with who she was and I adored the interaction between her and Jay and their connection was evident early on even if they didn’t know it.

This series I think might jump to the top real quick, I really love how this is going and can not wait to see who is up next.

Once again..Simply Awesome! If you haven’t read anything by this author yet you could start here I suppose but I recommend going back to the start with the Prestian Series…They are all amazing!!!

Wayward is the first book in the Billionaire Bodyguards Series byVia Mari. Although this is the first book in this series, it is not the first book in the world that Via Mari has created. Like the rest of her books I love the loyalty of the men in this world that she has created. This is Sasha and Jay’s story, and it is non stop action and hot sex scenes throughout. This one kept me reading long after my bedtime. I just couldn’t put it down until I finished it. I can’t wait to read what Via Mari has in store for us. I highly recommend this book.

This story is Meredith’s and Lincoln’s story. They meet without any expectations, except for a good time. Their chemistry is hot, but they really didn’t think that the see each other again. However, life likes to knock ya down a bit. Each have their own struggles and strengths. They were a fantastic couple to read about. They were relatable. So far, I have enjoyed this series, and this story was a great addition.

I was really looking forward to reading this book, First because it is a new author to me, 2nd the synopsis had me curious and 3rd the cover was awesome! I was definitely not disappointed and it lived up to what I was hoping for throughout the entire story.

The storyline was unique and had me guessing from the first chapter. I was even choosing because each brother won me over at one point in time or another and this author did such a great job leading you down the wrong path just to swerve and head back. I loved all the characters in this story, many times I felt like I was right there among many of them. I read this in one sitting and found myself laughing out loud at times and then very sad at times.

She comes home, all grown up and she has her sights set on one of the brothers, the brothers that vowed never to cross that line with her. You have to read as she weaves her way through this story and if you’re anything like me you will need some kleenex throughout.

Wonderful story and I can not wait for more from this new to me author..

Amazing 🙂

The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton is a contemporary romance. Nicole Flockton is a creative author and it shines brightly within this series. If you haven’t read another book in this series, you are absolutely missing out. In The Matchmaker’s Match, it’s a typical tale of the best man vs the maid of honor in the wedding party scenario, yet it is so much more than that. The author has add a mix of humor, sweetness and serious moments to make this a truly well rounded novel. Linc and Meredith are unique and captivating in this series despite the personal flaws that mark each of them. Reading through their inner development, as well as, working through obstacles in their path(s), it created a beautiful story that touches your soul.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wayward (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 1) by Via Mari is another fantastic read from this talented author. I see Via’s name and jump straight in. I don’t even read the cover because I always know I am in good hands when it comes to her books. Wayward is a great start to another of her fabulous series and has many of my old favourites from her other series. Hot alpha men looking out for their own with the backing of their employers who trust them like family. And the romance is all hot tamale and sizzling to the point of boiling. Via has once again woven her magic and puts you through hoops where the drama and secrets, fear and pain, love and lies is palpable and we travel to exciting place. There is conflict with some of the most powerful and dangerous men in the world including several mafia families.

Jay met a siren but she only has eyes for his boss. The beautiful ballerina takes his breath away but how does he get her to see she is made for him and him alone but when a secret is brought to light he may just have to walk away with his heart in tatters.

I suggest you read the other series in order so you get the backstory of the characters and how they all fit together. You will thank me later.

The Matchmaker's Match (Man's Best Friend, #3)The Matchmaker’s Match by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Matchmaker’s Match is the 3rd book in the Man’s Best Friend Series by Nicole Flockton. As the series name suggests, an adorable dog plays a very important role in the story. Each of these books can be read as a standalone. The characters from previous books are part of the story so If you are going to read them all, then I’d suggest you read them in order.
When your life is not going too great, the last person you want to see when you are bridesmaid at your best friend’s wedding is the hot guy that you had an amazing one night stand with as the best man. But when an emergency strikes at the rehearsal dinner Lincoln is the one who is there for Meredith to give her support.
I really loved the interaction between school teacher Meredith and K9 handler Lincoln. There are some funny, sad, emotional, heart-wrenching moment between the 2 of them and many of those surround the gorgeous little scene stealer, puppy Buster.
I loved that we got to see the couples from the 2 previous books and had updates on their stories. They are not just there as scene fillers, they are relevant to the story and are a valuable addition to the story.
I hope there is more to come from the Man’s Best Friend Series as I’ve loved it so far. Definitely worth reading.

The Matchmaker's Match (Man's Best Friend, #3)The Matchmaker’s Match
By: Nicole Flockton
My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton was a sweet, military romance, that hooked me from start to finish.

This series has become a fav of mine, it’s more than a sweet romance, it has a bit of mystery, suspense, and just a touch of action; with a cute dog that just keeps you flipping the pages. So don’t be fooled by the page count, this book may be short but it’s packed to the gills with everything that gets those feels going and the heart pumping. She’s small but mighty.

This story follows Link and Meredith as they navigate this crazy thing call love. Their meeting is suppose to be a one night thing, just two people passing in the night. It was a great start and you can feel the chemistry instantly. Meredith knew what she wanted and she went after it. I love when the female MC makes that first move. Confidence is sexy. As the story moved on, and we get into the main plot, things heat up, get witty, fun and so entertaining, that I just couldn’t stop reading if I wanted to.

Overall this book is a must read and it gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval

Happy Reading

The Matchmaker’s Match by Nicole Flockton is the third book in the Man’s Best Friend series. I have enjoyed this series because there is always a dog playing a part in the romance. After a one night stand, Meredith does not think she will ever run into Lincoln again. Paired up at her best friend’s wedding the two have to decide if there might be a second chance waiting for them.
I enjoyed both Meredith and Lincoln and was rooting for them. They are a good match and highlight each other’s strengths and help with the other’s weaknesses. I also enjoyed the story because they are not perfect and have issues to get over in order to move on and go forward with their lives. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

The Matchmaker's Match (Man's Best Friend, #3)The Matchmaker’s Match by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Matchmakers Match is Book 3 in the series and is just as good as the others in the series. I love any kind of romance, second chance or basically anything with dogs. These books all have dogs in them. Not just any dog but the dog holds important roles in the story itself.

In this book, Linc and Meredith meet one night and have the best night. Meredith is nursing a broken heart and figures she will throw caution to the wind and have fun for once. When she meets Linc he is everything her body could ever want in a man. She thought he said his name was Luke and he never corrected her. The next morning she is gone without a trace. These two thought they would never see each other again but, we know better don’t we? About a month later they see each other in church. It just so happens Linc is the best man and Meredith is the maid of honor in a wedding. What are the chances?
Meredith has to leave the rehearsal because of massive pains she is having and Linc is the one to take her out of there.
This is messing up all Meredith’s plans. She plans to have a baby on her own and doesn’t want a man in her life. Linc and Meredith try to fight the feelings they have for each other but it’s useless. The chemistry between them is insane even though a bunch of stuff happens between them they are both falling for each other hard! Then you throw the rescue dog into the mix.
What would’ve happened if Linc didn’t leave the army and set up that interview? Fate has a funny way of making things happen when they need to. Loved this book and cannot wait for more.

Bowled: Facing the Yorker of Love by Pamela Q. Fernandes is the first book in her To Love A Sportsman Series. I enjoyed all the detail that this author put into the story, there was so much that I was able to picture everything playing out in my mind.

Although, I will admit that at first I had a harder time getting into it as I found the storyline jumped around quite a bit, but I was able to get use to the writing style and ended up following along easily enough.

I just love the Man’s Best Friend series by Nicole Flockton. It is a sweet, fun, and innocent stories. Nicole Flockton has taken some of the most embarrassing situation and turn it into something magical. This story is one of those situations. Your best friend is getting married and you agree to be the maid of honor. You would not have any idea that the groom’s best man is the person who you may have had a one night stand with. This is Meredith Turner’s life and what’s worse is that she needs to leave the rehearsal dinner early. Lincoln Forrest has not had the best of luck with his decisions in his life. He is trying to turn his life around. In that process he is trying to help Meredith out. Will Meredith be able to let Lincoln help her? Will Lincoln be able to help Meredith? Will both Meredith and Lincoln overcome the awkwardness and move on with a fresh new relationship?

The Matchmaker’s Match (Man’s Best Friend Book 3) by Nicole Flockton. This is a sweet, emotional love story about Meredith Turner and Lincoln Forrest. Meredith hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to men so when she sees the guy (Lincoln) who she had a one night stand with she’s so embarrassed. She knows she has a bad track record but she can’t resist Lincoln. Lincoln has also made a lot of bad choices, the worst one being leaving the Army. He was a former K-9 handler as well and he’s looking for a new career. When Lincoln and Meredith meet again at a Wedding they can’t resist each other. The sparks fly between them. Buster the dog is so adorable in this book and I wanted a Buster of my own. Will Meredith and Lincoln try to make it work between them or will they let past hurts keep them from having a future together?

Bowled by Pamela Q. Fernandes a five-star read that should be a six. This is number one in the To love a sports man series and I can’t wait for more. This was such a great story, I loved the fact that it was about Cricket, something I secretly adore (and not just for the cute white outfits). Mathew Anderson wasn’t always someone I liked, but when I got to know the real him, not just the façade he shows us just how special he is. The second chance romance in this story is believable and honest, it shows us how beautiful life can be when we need it to be, it also shows us life isn’t always perfect and sometimes it needs a good shake. Rose was full of surprises for me, she made me feel a lot more than I imagined she would.

Bowled was a lovely, sweet romance story that I thoroughly enjoyed! I have read stories by this author previously so I was looking forward to reading more from her again and I wasn’t disappointed. The story had the pace and flow that I have come to love from this author as well as wonderful characters who are both likeable and realistic. It never takes me long at all to become absorbed in what I am reading from Ms Fernandes. I liked that both of the characters had their own stories to tell, both have been burned in the past and I knew as soon as that first initial contact was made, albeit with a pretty nasty tweet, these two would be perfect for each other! They did frustrate me at times but I couldn’t help but find myself rooting for them the whole way through.
Bowled was a really enjoyable story that I would definitely recommend to other readers! As always I will be looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future!

The Matchmaker’s Match is the third book in the Man’s Best Friend series by Nicole Flockton, I missed the first one in the series but since they can read as standalones it didnt cause any problems with me keeping up with the story line.

I love the human characters but the dogs always sucker me in and I end up loving them so much. Buster made me smile every single time, even during less happy parts.

Linc may be my latest book boyfriend, he melted my heart every chance he got by being the ideal man or at least in my eyes.

Meredith may not have had the best childhood but her life was far from the worse. I have ever read about. The way she is with Buster was so sweet and it made me like her that much more.

Great story which I enjoyed every moment of. Looking forward to seeing another book in this series and meeting another dog.

This is not my first book by this author and will definitely not be my last. Although this wasn’t my favorite of those I’ve read it was still written in the way I have come to enjoy by this author.

I’m not usually drawn to the sports genre and then throw in cricket and I was totally lost on that part so just concentrated on the characters. I really enjoyed reading about Mathew and Rose and there were some parts that seemed kind of predictable and then there were parts that broke my heart.

I will definitely be looking for more from this author and do highly recommend this book especially to those that like the sports kind of atmosphere. Its a quick read and flows smoothly.

Wayward (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 1)Wayward by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wayward is the first book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. This series is a spin off from 2 previous series: The Prestian Series and The Torzial Affair. In this series we see into the lives and loves of the bodyguards whose job it is to guard the billionaires from the other 2 series.
Wayward centres around Jay who is the head of the security team and Sasha Koslov, a Russian ballerina who was previously involved with one of Jay’s bosses. Jay has been captivated by the beautiful, graceful ballerina from the first instance he saw her. Now it emerges that she is related to the mafia and her life is in danger, Jay will do anything to keep her safe.
This book will have you sucked right into the heart of the story from the very first page and will not let you go. It will drag you through a roller coaster of emotions and you won’t want to put it down. The characters are very well written and have so much depth to them, you really feel that you get to know them.
I really loved this book. I had not read any of this author’s work before but now I really want to read the Prestian Series and The Torzial Affair as I’m intrigued as to what has gone on with these characters previously.

5 out of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read by this author Too Hot To Handle is the third book in the Catch series written by Ms. Scott. I simply fell in love with this couple Tony and Georgia. They were an awesome couple. The Main characters are well written and simply great. I loved there quirks. The story line was great and different.

Georgia “Gigi” Sinclair has it all in the spot light. Just look at her social media feed. It’s full of designer clothes, first class travel and snapshots of her TV-star fiancé. But behind the scenes, things are a bit more complicated.

Tony is a hot firefighter all his friends are getting tied down and he’s still the resident playboy, so his inner monologue is entertaining but when he meets Georgia the sparks fly and Tony wants to play with fir when it comes to Georgia.
These two come from different worlds can they make it? Can Tony help Georgia? Will they have a happily ever after.
You need to read this great book…

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Bowled: Facing the Yorker of Love (To Love a Sportsman Book 1) by Pamela Q. Fernandes. This is a new to me author. I really enjoyed this book, who doesn’t love sports and a sexy guy. Throw in a quirky, funny woman and you have one good book. This book is about Mathew and Rose. He is a cricket player and she is a teacher. What started at a joke tweet, turned into jokingly flirting, turns into Rose traveling to stay with him for a “visit”. They are both coming off of emotional and difficult times. I enjoyed this book and can not wait to see what else is in story.
