I loved reading the book Self Made (Freshwater BOOK 2) by Belinda Williams. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and I was hooked. I love the characters of Jessica Jinks and Ant Monticello. Jessica is a woman who has an online fitness brand. She is smart, independent, and determined to be successful. She is the perfect one to help transform Ant. She doesn’t expect the feelings that she begins having for him. Ant is a man who has a comedic comeback for anything. He can make you laugh. His makeover has changed Ant. Is there a future for Ant and Jessica? Read this book to find out what happens. I grew to care about Jessica and Ant with each chapter that I read. I enjoyed the bantering that goes back and forth between them. I couldn’t help but wish for them to be successful and happy. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that interacted with Jessica and Ant. Each one has a part to play in the story. The author does an amazing job of making both the storyline and the characters come alive on the pages. I found myself lost in the book. Don’t miss out on an entertaining and exciting story. I highly recommend reading it.

This is the 3rd book in the Chase Security series and it was definitely my favourite! I liked the first two but I just found myself completely gripped by the story in this one. I really liked the characters Julian and Holly and I absolutely adored Holly’s daughter Sadie! She was such a special little girl to read about. Julian’s character appeared in book 2 of the series but I really enjoyed getting to know him more in this instalment. He’s such a lovely character, really genuine and I loved the connection he had with Holly. I was definitely rooting for these two the whole way through because they both deserved to be with someone special. Overall a really enjoyable read, although part of a series it can be read as a standalone. I look forward to more from this author in the future!

I really get excited when I see a new IRRESISTIBLE anthology from some of my favorite authors. This one is the fall theme and really makes the reader ‘fall’ into love over and over again with each of these 8 wonderful romance reads. I personally love The Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series from Tamara Ferguson and this one has a short that falls into the series so I was super excited to get my hands on it. The others are also by some of my fav authors and even a few new ones that I look forward to discovering more in the near future. I loved that this was in a nice and sweet box set available to share and gift easily with family and friends as this is about the time of year I start looking at gift options. Secure Heart by R.L. Dunn is the third book in the Chase Security series. This book can be read as a standalone although I would definitely recommend reading the whole series. This is a story that is full of action and has some strong characters to back this up. Holly and Julian were such a good match for each other their story just seemed to work. The whole book was really well developed. The author knew when to push things forwards but she also knew when the story line would benefit from taking a step back. I thought the characters were really the focal point of this book. While there was a great storyline the characters are really what shone through. They had a strong connection and that you could feel on every page. This has been a brilliant series so far and I am looking forward to seeing what is next.

Spicetopia Boxed Set by Phoebe Alexander is books 1-4 in the Spicetopia series. This is a fantastic series that I cannot recommend highly enough. Each and every book is amazing in its own right. They are interesting and well written with some utterly brilliant characters it them. Each book is distinctive and well written and I would honestly struggle to pick a favourite between them. Phoebe Alexander is one of those authors who has firmly cemented herself as one of my favourite authors. There isn’t anything I have read so far that I haven’t absolutely loved and this series is the perfect example as to why! If you buy no other book this year I would fully advise you pick up this series today!

I love getting my hands on a great anthology, especially one that features so many of my favourite authors. This is a collection of wonderful romance stories from eight very talented authors. Self Made is the superb second instalment in the Freshwater series by Belinda Williams. It was such a fun read- with just the right amount of tension, drama, and spice to keep my interest elevated. As with the first book, it is a contemporary romance- with endearing, relatable, and interesting characters- and a wonderful and fun storyline. Having read the first book and enjoyed it a lot- I was really happy to dive into Self Made. This is Jessica and Ant’s story, meeting both as support characters back in book one. I was quite intrigued by them in the first instalment in this series- so it was great that they got their own book. Their story kept me entertained from beginning to end- And I love the humour, emotion, tension, and chemistry that Ms. William’s instils into each of her stories- it really makes for a wonderful read.

This was one of the best Anthologies that I have read in awhile. These were eight wonderful authors all wrapped up into a perfect book. These stories will tug at your heart, each and every one of them. There were a few authors that I have read before but I was happy to find some new authors to add to my list. Every time I read one of Tamara Ferguson I fall in love with her writing all over again. Her characters know exactly how to wiggle their way into your heart. I can not wait to read more by all of these amazing authors.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this book because I have never read Danielle Jacks prior but once I saw the cute and fun cover I just knew I needed to give it a go and see what story was there. This is one that will make you remember everything you love about summer, that magic that is in the air when you are a young adult is something that seems to go by the wayside to adult things as we get older but this captured the fun and adventurous time that can be. Kara and Bear were a blast to read and the way the story unfolded led the reader on until the last page where you just hope and pray for the happily ever after to come for these two. You will have to read this for yourself to find out if they get that but the adventure it takes you on is well worth the few hours you will spend with Kara and Bear. I can’t wait to see what else is available from Danielle Jacks!
I enjoyed this book. This is the second book in this series which I enjoyed just as much if not more than the first book. This is a sweet romance story that pulled me in right from the beginning. The characters are well developed and I had no problem connecting with them as they brought the story to life. Jessica is the face of her fitness business that is going strong. When Ant comes into her life, she is faced with a challenge to make him ripped in just a few months. She is attracted to him right from the start, will she lose her heart to him? Ant makes the changes but are they good? Now she starts questioning herself, business and if he was perfect before she changed him. What happens next you will have to read but you won’t want to miss it. I enjoyed their chemistry and watching their relationship grow. They made great characters, they certainly made the story easy to read. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Secure Heart is the 3rd book in the fantastic Chase Security Series by R.L. Dunn. Each book in the series could be read as a standalone but I would recommend them all, and doing so in order as previous events are mentioned and may make more sense if you have read the previous books. Added to the fact that they are all fantastic books then I’m sure it would be no hardship to read them all. We got to know a bit about Julian Dupart in the 2nd book Secure Again and I’m so glad that R.L. Dunn chose to give him his own book as I was interested to find out more about this intriguing man. We really get to know Julian throughout this book and I absolutely loved this man. He’s super smart and a total whizz at his job but we get to see so much more of Julian and discover that he has a heart of gold. His leading lady in this book is Holly Dupree Morrison and I adored her too. She’s had a horrible life so far and will do absolutely anything to protect her adorable daughter Sadie. I must add that Sadie absolutely stole my heart. She is the most adorable child ever and had me in tears at a few points with her whole outlook on life (and death). As with the previous books in the series there’s so much more than the romance story going on and in Secure Heart the storyline running alongside the romance is dark and dangerous and very entertaining. I was really gripped by the story and did not want to put this book down. I desperately hope that R.L. Dunn choses to write more about the Chase Security team.

Secure Heart is the third book in the Chase Security seriesby R.L Dunn. It is a bit of a romantic suspense, with second chances, danger, stalking, drama, emotion, chemistry, spice, and plenty of character growth. I am really having trouble picking my favourite from out of this series (so far)- as each book is quite riveting. Again, as with the previous books, there is a lot going on in the book- and I liked the fresh feel to the storyline- as well as having a lot of characters to keep track of- which all the series books seem to have, and is a characteristic I now associate with R.L Dunn’s work. It definitely adds extra interest to the story. I loved Holly, and Sadie. They’re such great characters- and I loved the extra emotive quality that Sadie brought to the overall storyline. Julian is just as smooth as I would have expected, being a Chase Security team member, not to mention former Navy SEAL- and it was great to tag along for the ride, and really ‘get to know him’. The story is really well developed, with palpable tension and suspense woven throughout the storyline. The emotional component was both heartaching, and at times very touching. This was a really engaging and enjoyable read! Looking forward to the next book!

I loved reading the book Secure Heart (Chase Security Series #3) by R.L. Dunn. It is a story that once I started, I was hooked. I love the characters of Julian “Smooth” Dupart and Holly Dupree Morrison. Julian is a man who has taken the helm at Chase Securities branch in San Diego. He has discovered problems that include substandard care of patients. He is a man who works hard and because of the past doesn’t easily let anyone into his heart. Then he meets Holly. Holly is an amazing singer whose whole life revolves around her music and her daughter, Sadie. She has found herself in need of a security team. She then meets Julian. Both Julian and Holly find themselves in the path of danger. Will those who wish them harm be caught? Will Julian let Holly and Sadie into his heart? Read this book to find out. I love that Holly is a strong and independent woman. She also realizes when she needs help and finds herself putting more and more trust in Julian. I grew to care about Julian, Holly, and Sadie with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. This story had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. There are also romantic moments. The author does an amazing job of writing a story with characters that come alive and that you can root for their success. Don’t miss out on this wonderful book. You won’t be able to put it down.

I enjoyed this book. It is the third book in this series. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series as they are just as enjoyable as this one. This is a second chance romance story that is fast paced and engaging. The characters are well developed and are full of heart and soul. They bring the story to life and really made it pop. I had no problems connecting with them with each page I turned. I was pulled into the story with ease from the beginning to end. This story is about Julian and Holly. Julian is a widow and former Navy Seal and is in charge of running Chase Group in San Diego. Holly is an artist who seems to get involved with the wrong men. She also has a stalker who wants to kill her. What will happen when she hires Chase Security? Will Julian be able to protect them? This story is full of action and romance. I enjoyed their chemistry and watching them grow throughout the story. I had a hard time putting their story down and I think you will too. I highly recommend their story and this author.

This set has romance, suspense, mystery and friendship so it has something for everyone. My favorite was Two Hearts Truce by Tamara Ferguson. I love Tamara Ferguson and this book is a great one. Its the story of Amanda and Jeff. Amanda is nursing a broken heart and Jeff is the cause. Wills he ever be able to love again and will she ever be able to trust Jeff again. He is determined to win her back. I also enjoyed Falling Into Love by Natalie Ann. Its the story of Ryan and Shannon. Ryan has decided he doesn’t have time to fall in love and he doesn’t want to risk getting hurt. Shannon is a believer in love even though she’s not sure if she will ever find it again but when she meets Ryan her happily ever after may come true. This box set is full of love, loss, friendship and hope. You will not be disappointed by reading it!

I loved reading this collection of stories. They have steamy romance, suspense, and two people falling for each other. The authors have wonderfully written stories that will make you believe in true love. The stories are written in such a way that both the storylines and the characters come alive on the pages. There are plenty of swoon-worthy moments as well as moments that will make you go “Aww.” I enjoyed reading about the additional characters in each story and their interactions with the main characters. This is a collection of stories that will in some cases make your heart beat faster and touch your heart in others. I love anthologies because I not only get to read stories from authors that I know, I also am introduced to new authors and their writing styles. This is a collection of stories that I would highly recommend reading. There were a couple of stories in this collection that I wanted to write about. They are:

This is a story that I loved reading. It has romance and suspense. It is a story that made me believe in true love and soulmates. I loved the characters of Amanda and Jeff. What does the future hold for them? Read this story to find out. I grew to care about Amanda and Jeff with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. I also enjoyed the additional characters who interacted with Amanda and Jeff. Jeff is a man that has plenty of patience and he shows his deep attraction to Amanda.
WHISKEY SOUR By Jen Talty This is a story that I loved reading. I loved the character of Boone Wilder. He has an attraction/chemistry to a woman that he wants not just as a friend but something more. What will happen when he must come clean about a lie he has told? This story has passion, romance, and two main characters that heat the pages. I loved that the woman Boone cares for is independent and strong. Boone is kind, caring, and a fighter for what is right.

I loved reading the book Kickflip Summer by Danielle Jacks. It is an amazing romance story that pulled me in from the beginning. I loved the characters of Kara and Bear. Kara is a young woman who is smart, strong, and independent. For her last summer before university, she has decided to follow her best friend Toby and work in the Blue Oaks Theme Park. Then she meets Bear. Bear is a young man whose passion is skateboarding. He is not thrilled at the idea of going home. He finds himself very attracted to Kara. Is what is happening between Kara and Bear just a summer fling or is it turning into something more? Read this book to find out. The story has romantic moments as well as funny moments that made me laugh out loud. I grew to care about what happens to Kara and Bear with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are introduced. I loved the character of Toby who is Kara’s best friend. They make sure to look out for one another. The author does a wonderful job of making you fall in love with the characters and making the story come alive. Don’t miss out on a wonderful romance story that you will not be able to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

I loved this anthology. This is a collection of eight authors who put together eight romance stories that will pull at your heart strings. I found some of my favorite authors and also a couple of new authors. One of my favorites is Two Hearts Truce. This is a story of learning to trust again once a heart has been broken and being able to move forward. Another one of my favorites is Bayou Cottage. This is a story about second chances. What does fate have in store for Maggie. There is something for everyone in this book and I know you will find a favorite or two too. This is a must read anthology written by some awesome authors.

I enjoyed this sweet romance story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her. This is a well developed story that has characters that really make this story pop. It is written with a ton of heart and romance. I enjoyed being pulled in right from the beginning. It is a fast paced story that I found to be engaging and kept me turning pages. This is a story about chances. Kara has one summer left before she goes off to college. She decides to make the best of it. She takes on a job where she never expected to meet Bear. Neither one expects to meet each other which makes their story even sweeter. I enjoyed watching them grow and their chemistry is off the charts. I had no issues connecting with them and they really made the story for me. I highly recommend this book.

This book had me reading the book and not wanting to put it down. This was a phenomenal read and I really want more. Matt and Emilia are by far the cutest!
Chloe is a young clothing designer who seems to have it all – a job she loves, living in New York, working with her best friend Maria, and a new boyfriend! While she is at her big sisters wedding. A wonderful celebration of love and family. One of the most important things to happen at the wedding is Chloe & her extended family meet Sebastian, the net veterinarian in town. Sebastian seems to fit right in, is smart, and is very attracted to Chloe.
I don’t want to give away the story. However, I will say that this is a lovely romance. Shows different kinds of people that make up an amazing extended family. As with any couple, Chloe & Sebastian have their ups and downs. I really enjoyed this story and I’ll be checking out the earlier books in the series soon.

This was an enjoyable and fun read, and although part of the ‘Fairy Tale Series’ it can be read as a standalone story. This novel has a heartwarming storyline with a very likeable and relatable main character, Chloe Wheeler, who appears to have it all. However having dated the wrong man her life and career as a fashion designer in New York all fall apart, branded as a gold digger and a thief Chloe has to start over. Chloe thinks that things are finally going well for her when she meets vet Sebastian Adams at her sister’s wedding. Along with his two rescue dogs, Pit Bulls, Bonnie and Clyde Sebastian has moved to a small Kentucky town to also start over. Sebastian is instantly attracted to Chloe as she walks down the aisle at her sister’s wedding looking to him, like a princess, and luckily his two dogs also like her. Chloe also can not deny their chemistry, which sizzled off the page and their relationship develops. All is going well until a secret from Sebastian’s past could potentially ruin everything the couple have achieved. No spoilers as I recommend you pick up this book! I loved Chloe and Sebastian and really wanted them to both get their happy ever after. Although a romance the story also had plenty of drama which kept me hooked from the start until the last page. A great summer read and wonderful escapism.

The Princess and The Pit Bulls is a very sweet romance by Jody Lynn Daniels. This was the first time that I had read any of this author’s work. I was enticed by the blurb and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did as I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Chloe Wheeler is an up and coming fashion designer which is her dream job. When all goes wrong at work her life takes a new turn. Sebastian Adams is the new vet in town. He’s very charming and easy on the eye and comes with 2 adorable pit bulls Bonnie And Clyde. He first sees Chloe when she’s bridesmaid at her sister’s wedding and he thinks she looks just like a princess. I loved both of these characters. Everyone just adores Chloe and she’s a huge hit with the animals at the vet practice (and their owners). She has a huge amount of love and compassion for others and is willing to help anyone in need. Sebastian is just an all-round great guy. He’s sweet, loyal and trustworthy. The fact that he’s gorgeous is an added bonus. I loved how he fought for Chloe, both for her heart and to clear her name. This lovely romance had me gripped to the story from the beginning and was a definite page turner. I was hooked to Chloe and Sebastian’s story and couldn’t wait to see how it turned out. 100% recommend this book!

What another great read from Jody Lynn Daniels. Once again she has absolutely no problem connecting me to the story or the characters from the get-go. This is a read that just transports you into the world of these characters you get so hooked up into their story that the next minute you know you finished the book, and left wanting more! This is one of them books that just makes you feel good while reading it and after. I loved following these characters journey I really connected with them, they were real, relatable, loveable and just really made this book what it is! I can’t wait to read more from this author. I highly suggest you get comfortable and enjoy this read!
