Naughty & Nice (Spicetopia #4) by Phoebe Alexander – Review by Michelle Mulvey

Naughty & NiceNaughty & Nice by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Naughty & Nice by Phoebe Alexander is book 4 in the Spicetopia series and definitely my favorite in the series so far. Micah and Natalie couldn’t be any more opposite. Sometimes opposites attract though right?
Natalie is the event planner and she is currently planning the biggest event to happen at Spicetopia. Cy and Jolie’s wedding!!! Very exciting. We have watched these two grow since book one. They have had a lot of stuff happen to them and those around them but, it has only made them stronger.

Micah is the person who will marry the happy couple and he comes in about a week early. What is a man of the cloth to do in an “Adult Only” amusement park? Well Natalie and Micah become quite close and she shows him around the park. The first 2 days or so, they stick to the calmer things for Micah to see. Then a challenge is made for him to let loose and not be so closed minded. All bets were off after that. Natalie and Micah got to spend some time together as two average people. Not an event planner and a minister.

Everything should be happy and wonderful with this big wedding about to happen but, Mr and Mrs Sweet were there and problems started occurring. Natalie planted some seeds in their heads and it was up to them to listen to what she said or ignore it. Things couldn’t go on the way they were.

This author has become one of my “go-to” authors. She gives us alittle romance, heat, drama, and of course some bumps in the road.

Naughty & Nice (Spicetopia #4) by Phoebe Alexander was the best one yet! This is book four in the series and as the books have progressed I have loved the next couple more and more. I give this book a five out of five stars. I loved the whole opposites attract, it’s my go to plot with romance books. Micah was a sweet character to read and I enjoyed the shock that he was presented with once he stepped on the island. Natalie is a go getter and knows what she wants and I just love that Phoebe Alexander has these strong women in her stories. Again, this definitely takes the cake for me, I can see this series easily becoming a yearly reread for me

Naughty & Nice is the fourth book in Spicetopia by Phoebe Alexander. Phoebe Alexander has amazing attention to detail. Her characters are fully developed and you can relate to them. The characters have chemistry that does not stay on the pages. This is Micah & Natalie’s story. Micah is the officiate for the owner of Spicetopia. He really did not know what he was getting into. Natalie is the official event planner for Spicetopia. The wedding is the first event and it will be the best event. Natalie really wants to make a mark as the new event planner. Now Micah and Natalie were not looking for anyone and both made a promise to themselves that they will be good this week and not get involved with this event going on. Will this be the event of the century or will this be a flop? Will Micah be able to distant himself from Natalie? Will Natalie behave herself and stay clear of Micah? You will not be disappointed in this installment of Spicetopia.

Naughty & Nice (Spicetopia #4) by Phoebe Alexander was a steamy and romantic read. Natalie and Micah were amazing characters in this story. They are preparing for Cy and Jolie’s wedding at Spicetopia and things are heating up between the minister and wedding planner. I loved how Natalie seemed to break through boundaries to get Micah to open up. This story was easy to read and fun. It features the characters from the previous books in the set but can be read as a standalone. I loved how to completely different characters came together. It was wonderful. Excellent read, I highly recommend it!

Courage of Us (Code of Honor Book 1) by Brooke May is an amazing book to read that hooks you from the very first page and ensures you can’t put it down until it’s done. The cover of this book along with synopsis is what drew me in to read this book. This book is about Patience and Duke who have been best friends until he left for the Marines. They both had a lot of obstacles to overcome over the years. When Patience is starting to learn who she is again Duke walks back into her life unexpected. Will they be able to fix their relationship after everything? This is a must read and I can’t wait for more to come from this series.

I think this may be the first book I’ve read by this author and I will absolutely be reading more in this series.

This second chance, military romance is full of feels and emotions and breath taking moments. The story is written very clearly and is full of detail. There is a very strong beginning, middle and end with great world building and interest building to keep a reader interested in turning the pages.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Courage Of Us is the first book in the Code Of Honor series by Brooke May. I had previously only read one book by this author which I thoroughly enjoyed and this looked like just the kind of book I’d enjoy. I tend to enjoy second chance romances and this has to be one of the best ones that I have read.
Patience LaClare has loved her best friend Duke Michaels all of her life but he left her devastated when he slept with her on the night of their High School graduation then left to join the marines the next day without saying goodbye.
Years on and Patience has just divorced from a man she never loved and Duke returns to town having been medically discharged from the marines. Can they go back to the best friends they used to be? Can they have the relationship that everyone assumed they would have? If 2 people are meant to be together then it’s Patience and Duke but Patience is trying to get her life back together after her divorce and Duke has some secrets of his own that he’s hiding.
This is a beautifully written second chance romance. The 2 main characters are both broken but have always loved each other and that has not changed. I loved watching as they both fought their demons to see if they could possibly have a future together.
I was totally drawn into this book and did not want to put it down. It’s a definite page turner.

Naughty & Nice by Phoebe Alexander is the fourth book in the Spicetopia series. This book can be enjoyed as a standalone but enjoyed more when reading in order. Natalie has been hired by Spicetopia to plan the holiday wedding of the owner but encounters Micah who has been hired to officiate. Natalie and Micah are in two different thought modes concerning hookups and more. Can the two of them come to a compromise and give in to the passion growing between them?
This is another fun and steamy read from the Spicetopia series. The characters are fun and I like each character is different. This one is funny because the two main characters seem very different when introduced. I look forward to reading more in this series in the future.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Courage of us by Brooke May was an absolute great read. I was hooked from the very first page. The author gives the reader happy parts, sad parts and funny parts. This book has it all. I almost felt like I knew the characters.

Duke and Patience have been best friends forever. Their parents are best friends and they used to bathe Duke and Patience together when they were younger. Patience has no female friends but her group of guys are all she needs. Duke and Patience obviously have a stronger bond but all of them protect her as if they are her older brothers.
They have graduated and most of the guys are all headed off in the next few days to different branches of the military.
Patience chooses one special night to confess to Duke that her feelings run much stronger then friendship. The only problem with that is, when she wakes up he is gone. She doesn’t know if she ruined her friendship with her best friend over one crazy night or what.

Duke hides the fact that he too is joining the military. He doesn’t tell Patience his plans. Now he has been away for 7 years and has thought of her every single day since he left. He can’t believe she went and married the loser she was dating even after the night they spent together.

When Duke finally comes home for good, he runs into Patience that first night. Can they pick up where they left off or is their friendship gone after what he did to her? A lot has happened in the last 7 years. Patience has baggage, Duke has baggage, lots of secrets. So much has happened. Will their chemistry they always had get them back to where they should be or is 7 years just to long to be away from each other.

I absolutely loved this book. Patience is one strong girl who can do anything she sets her mind to.

Naughty & Nice is the 4th book in the amazing Spicetopia series by Phoebe Alexander. I have read many books by Phoebe Alexander now and this is definitely up there among my favourites. This has been a fantastic series and I hope it will continue.
Spicetopia is an anything goes, adult theme park, so when virgin Minister Micah Greene arrives to officiate the wedding of Spicetopia creators Cy Sweet and Jolie Cox, he is certainly in for an eye opener and comes to re-evaluate many of his beliefs. Helping him on his new ‘journey’ is Spicetopia event planner Natalie Roux, who is coordinating the wedding.
It was fantastic to see old favourite characters appear in this book but I was totally gripped by the interactions of Micah and Natalie. Watching Micah being introduced to new things and seeing his reaction to them, made this a fantastic story to read. Seeing the struggle he has with his religious beliefs and also the growing friendship between him and Natalie made for an amazing read.
This story has a fair bit of angst, not just from Micah and Natalie but also from Cy and Jolie as they deal with his parents, but as with other Phoebe Alexander books, the sexy times are well and truly smoking hot.

Patience and Duke have been best friends since forever. However, Patience knows that her feeling for Duke go beyond friendship. She is even dating Greg, a guy who barely makes time for her, so she won’t ruin her friendship with Duke by wanting more. On a drunken night after graduation she confesses those feelings and crosses that friendship line. When she wakes up the next morning, Duke is gone.
Seven years later, Duke returns to their hometown to a recently-divorced Patience. Those seven years have not been easy for Patience and she is angry and betrayed that her best friend up and left after the night they shared. Duke knows he needs to make it up to Patience. With the help of their still-present chemistry (and some sneaky family members), Duke is determined to prove to Patience that they are meant for each other. But there are secrets and events in the time they were apart that could put an end to the relationship before it gets started.
This story felt so real and I felt connected to it from the beginning. The characters were brought to life by the words of Brooke May and I found myself immersed in their world until the last page. The story was full of emotion and feelings that relationships go through, which lead to me laughing and tearing up at different parts of the story. Brooke May is a new author that I have now discovered, and I look forward to future books that she writes.

Naughty & Nice by Phoebe Alexander a five-star read that you will pray never ends. This is number four is the Spicetopia series, they can be read as stand-alone, but I have read and enjoyed them as a series and this one blew my socks off. Micah Greene what a man, even if he is one of the cloth variety, not someone I expected to see popping up in the Spicetopia world, but I am so glad he does as he is a character I am so glad to see, he just warmed parts of me that have been cold for a very long time. I think he warmed parts of a certain wedding planner as well, but well the cloth thing can be an issue. This whole story just built everything up and gave us a great story, one I was sorry to see end.

This book might seem naughty, but it’s more about openness and acceptance. There’s finally a wedding planned; but a minister at an adult theme park? Micah’s background allows him to see things differently than the church where he serves as a counselling minister. Natalie has the hots for Micah from the very first sight, but she needs to fight her attraction, so she doesn’t ruin the wedding. Everyone is trying to keep the dreadful parents of the groom from destroying the whole event. This book has a lot of twists and naughtiness, along with some romance and faith. In the end they all learn some important lessons and open their hearts. It’s a really good story with just enough spice added to the life lessons to make it a great read.

I fell in love with the cover first of Courage of Us by Brooke May. I have read a few other novels of hers so I knew it would be something I would enjoy and it was a no-brainer to one-click for me this one. I am so happy to say that the book lived up to its cover and so much more.

I loved the characters Patience and Duke. Now, at moments I didn’t really care for Duke which will all make sense when you read it for yourself, but this guy felt like he got off the hook a tad too easy for my liking. That is until we find out the secrets haunting Patience’s past can be just as big a factor.

Patience and Duke were each other’s everything from the moment they met as infants. Unfortunately, life had other plans when they grew up. Patience is stuck behind and finds herself in a terrible marriage. Meanwhile Duke takes leave with the Marines and basically abandons Patience. Now the two have a chance to meet back up and put the past to bed. Will they be able to do so and build the happily ever after they both so deserve? This is one you do not want to miss and I am so excited to find out there will be more books to come! I can’t wait to see what will happen next!

Courage of Us (Code of Honor Book 1) by Brooke May is a story that you can easily get lost in. It is a military romance and it is one story with deep feelings and emotions, heartache and love, loss and pain and Brooke has written the characters in such a way that you become so immersed in them that you feel everything right along with them. It is a tale of young love that was lost and secrets that may destroy them.

Patience’s world was changing, everyone she loved went away but what hurt the most was the loss of her best friend. Nothing for seven years but heartache and loss but she is slowly rebuilding her life that is until her past comes back and she has to face it head on. Will she be able to share her most terrible secret with the one that could destroy her?

Duke could not bear to see the pain so he took off without a word and now he is coming home after years away and is determined to get back what is his. But there is one thing stopping him and he doesn’t want to share that secret with anyone who could see him less than a man. Will he take a chance and share every secret or will it be too much and lose his chance at love?

Brooke’s story is a second chance at love and about healing through the pain that life has thrown at you by being with the one you love.

Naughty & Nice (Spicetopia #4) by Phoebe Alexander is my absolute favourite of the series. This wonderfully sinful tale gives us a wedding and an unlikely couple come together. There is never any question when it comes to one of Phoebes books, I jump right in and she never disappoints. The Spicetopia world is vivid and alive and the characters are well developed and loveable.

Natalie is planning the biggest event since it opened for Cy and Jolie’s wedding. Nerves are strung tight when the officiate comes and then Cy’s parents. Natalie meets the charming Micah and is surprised when he wants to see the park. Sparks fly and he realises there is more to life than he thought. Will Cy’s parents ruin the wedding? Will Micah decide it is more than he can handle and run for the hills?

Phoebe did a great job and it is one book you don‘t want to miss out on. If you like something oh so sexy and erotic, steaming and exciting then this is a book is one you should grab and dive right in.

What could possibly be bad about this book and series. An “adult” theme park, the wedding of the century, throw in a sexy event planner and an even sexier minister……. can they behave themselves or is one week just enough time to get in “trouble”?
While these books can be read as stand-alones, in my opinion, it is better to read them all together, to just the full experience. I can not wait to see what this amazing author is going to give us next!!!!

Naughty & Nice is the fourth book in the Spicetopia series by Phoebe Alexander. This is such a fantastic contemporary romance- with quite a lot of surprising elements to the story. Ms. Alexander takes all the stereotypes of contemporary romance and turns them on their head. This book is anything but the usual trope we may be used to. She introduces a few little twists of her own- and adds her own ‘spice’ recipe to the mix, to really hold our attention. This story is everything I had hoped for, and much more. It’s naughty, nice, sweet, and spicy- with drama, surprises, humour, discovery, chemistry, and a wonderful romance.
Natalie Roux is the event planner at Spicetopia, the ‘adult’ theme park- and her first big event is the owner’s wedding. No pressure, right? She is determined to make this the best holiday wedding, ever! But when she meets the minister who arrives to perform the wedding ceremony, she realises that it’s not going to be so easy staying on task. How hard could it be though? It is only for a week.
Micah Green is about to discover a whole lot more than he ever imagined, when he agrees to officiate at the wedding. The week is about to get very interesting. What ensues makes for a captivating read- and is one of Ms. Alexander’s best books yet!
I sure hope there are more books planned for addictive series!! Bring on Book 5!!! Hint hint hint, Ms. Alexander….
Happy reading!

Thank you, Ms. Alexander!

I give Naughty & Nice (Spicetopia Book 4) by Phoebe Alexander, 5 stars.

This is the latest in a great series, and the author has hit it out of the park yet again! Each couple has been different in each book, but I was never expecting Micah!!! That made it even better. Natalie and Micah are exceptional and the characters you loved from previous books are back too! You don’t have to read the previous books first, but I highly recommend it since they are each so good and you will learn the whole story. That being said, I love how the author has yet again added in the bullet points in the story leading up to this book. It’s a nice reminder for those forgetful like myself or those new to the series.

The story itself is so fun. Besides the attraction between the two main characters, there is also a wedding about to happen and chaos that ensues from that. There are so many feelings in this book.

For those who like their romance hot, heavy, and a little different, this book is for you. It relvoves among an adult amusement park, need I say more?

Another story from Spicetopia means another ride into a fantasy land. Alexander has created an adult world…well actually an adult playground that helps the reader escape real life problems. A dream land.

“No judgment. Everyone’s into different things, and it’s all good. I’ve never been in a place where I felt freer to be myself.”

There should be so many places where people can say this in the real world.

The plot idea is interesting enough, a male virgin…a minister virgin at that. Mix in a woman of experience, one with an open mind and you have the making of some sweet sexy fun. “Who knew?”
We follow many of the characters from Book one throughout the series. Each book looking at one
couple more than the others. Micah and Natalie are this book’s starring couple.

This story is such a fun read. Definitely recommend this story, series and author.

So when reading the end of Fire & Ice and she explained and gave us just enough of a teaser about this book I sat with a smile on my face wondering how this author was going to handle this with everything else I’ve read by her. I can only imagine this was a challenge for her 🙂

Bravo Miss Alexander..this was perfect! I want to say this is my favorite of the four but I enjoyed every one of these so much that its become one story for me and I so appreciate the work that went in to releasing these all so quickly, I was able to grab each one and jump right back in without any refresher time. Cy and Jolie will continue to be my favorite couple but Micah and Natalie won my heart almost immediately. There were a couple parts in this book that had me laughing out loud and most had to do with explaining some of the attractions at this park…This author never ceases to amaze me with how she can make this married for eons kind of woman blush. I love it!!

PLEASE give us more of this series, I don’t even care if it revolves around our already beloved characters..Just give us more!! I can’t wait to read all of these again!!

Naughty & Nice is the 4th book in the Spicetopia series by Phoebe Alexander. I thought it was going to be the final, but it looks like more will come, yay! I think this is probably my favorite book in the series so far. This one is the story of Micah and Natalie, two opposites, who are brought together for work. Natalie is the event coordinator for Spicetopia, and the wedding planner for Cy and Jolie’s wedding. Micah is the minister brought to Spicetopia to officiant the ceremony. Natalie has had a very adventurous sex life, while Micah has had none. It was joked he might do something he would regret, and she would corrupt the minister. But maybe its not so much of a joke, but a premonition. This unlikely couple has amazing chemistry and that is what made it my favorite. I recommend this book, and the series. The idea of it was crazy to me at first, but Alexander has done a wonderful job developing the theme park and the stories and characters surrounding. I can’t wait to meet more of the staff or see what has come from the prior stories characters.
