Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) by Nicole Banks – Review by Michelle King

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts #2)Into Pieces by Nicole Banks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m not sure exactly where to begin with this one. There is just so much to this story! I fell in love with these people in book 1 and that carried on into book 2, only much, much deeper! My emotions were all over the place. Love, hate, anger, frustration, betrayal, shock…I’m fairly certain that at several points while reading this book my heart ACTUALLY STOPPED! It felt like it was being ripped right out of my chest! This author gives you absolutely everything.

The chemistry between the characters is off the charts. Angel and Jasmine. Kate and Chase. You find yourself rooting for them, cheering them on, feeling their emotions as intimately as if they were your own. We finally find out the answers to many of the questions that were hanging from book one, but be prepared! You may not want to know them all! Some of these truths will hurt…and quite frankly make you want to punch the author in the face at times! LOL!

I don’t want to say too much about the story and give anything away. If you love well developed characters, romance, and suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat, then start reading! Just make sure you read book one, Shattered, first. Nicole Banks has quickly become a go to author for me and I will most definitely be reading anything she puts out! I can’t wait to start book 3 of this series and see where this journey is going to take me next!

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2)
By Nicole Banks
5 out of 5 stars!

Nicole Banks has once again entranced me into the lives of Jasmine and Angel as they struggle not to fall apart as they stumble through hell. This second book told me more about each character and the ways that they impact the story as a whole. I was treated to a more personal side of the lives and love shared between Jasmine and Angel. This book took me on a ride from one end of the emotional roller coaster to the other while keeping me on the edge of my seat.
I highly recommend this book! There is some sexual content so this read is absolutely for mature audiences only. Grab your copy today and join me and other readers on a wonderful Nicole Banks journey.

Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent – Review by Lisa Brydalski

Not So Wrong (Love Grows series, Book 2)Not So Wrong by Renee Regent
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When Spencer Colebank meets Melanie Parker at a party sparks fly and the billionaire is hooked. In book 2 of the Love Grows series, Not So Wrong, by author Renee Regent these two special characters are hiding behind masks and are afraid what would happen if others knew their real selves. Melanie is a singer who may have to give up her dream and Spencer is hiding his dreams in order to make his family happy.
This was an interesting story and I truly felt for the characters. Both were hiding and you had to root for them to achieve their dreams, no matter what. I look forward to seeing what is going to happen next in this series.

Not So Wrong (Love Grows series, Book 2)Not So Wrong by Renee Regent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Not So Wrong is the second book in the Love Grows series by Renee Regent. This contemporary romance is a great story with a wonderful emotive quality to the storyline. I really enjoyed the first book in the series, so I was excited to dive into this second book. I wasn’t sure I would like it as much as the first book, but I needn’t have worried- as Ms. Regent exceeded all my expectations and I ended up loving it just as much as Book one, if not a little more.
Melanie and Spencer make beautiful music together- and they were so easy to like and emotionally invest in. Spencer is Gibson Colebank’s brother- from Not So Broken- Book #1. He’s also a billionaire with baggage and secrets. She’s struggling to ‘make it’ on the music scene and is about to give up on her dreams. What happens when they unite and write music together? A sweet, sexy, and romantic story that’s definitely worth your time and money- so grab yourself a copy and discover all the intriguing details for yourself!
A wonderful addition to the series and I can’t wait to read Ms. Regent’s next book!

Thank you, Ms. Regent!

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts #2)Into Pieces by Nicole Banks
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Into Pieces is another fantastic addition to the Shattered Hearts Series, this series is not to be missed at all. I was completely and utterly captivated with this read just as much as the first, but there was something different about this read in the case of it feeling like it went deeper, the emotions that run through this book are so deep and real you can’t help but feel as though you are there alongside the characters or even if you were feeling all the emotions yourself.

This book is made even better by the fact it’s written in dual POV’s it really helps you connect more with the characters and also understand what they really are thinking and feeling.
These books are so captivating & real it’s a book that you can’t wait to delve into every time. I cant wait to see what else is to come to this series and I look forward to another read by this incredible author.

The Bad Twin by Avery Scott – Review by Angela Hayes

The Bad TwinThe Bad Twin by Avery Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Bad Twin by Avery Scott grabbed my attention from the moment it showed up on my recommended book feed. I couldn’t wait to dive in and find out what this book was all about. To say that I enjoyed this story is an understatement- I F-LOVED it! It was such a fun read- with a sweet, romantic, and emotional story that had just the right amount of drama and angst to keep things really interesting. There was so much to love about this book as the story delved into mistaken identity, family ties, sibling bonds, secrets, recrimination, guilt, passion, love, longing, courage, acknowledgement, discovery, being true to yourself, and chasing dreams.
Ms. Scott paints such a vivid picture- she took me on a sightseeing tour of Paris, creating such rich, vivid imagery- it felt like I was watching a movie and ‘seeing’ the story, instead of reading it.
Abagail Levesque is the practical, responsible, and reliable sister- while her identical twin is more of a spontaneous wild child. Abby had been struggling to make ends meet, especially so since losing her job recently in a company takeover. With a mortgage payment due sooner that she’d like- Abby is worried that they may lose their home. So when her sister’s boss turns up at the house expecting Gabby (her twin) to be packed and ready for a very important business trip to Paris, Abby is left with no choice but to assume her sister’s identity and try to salvage the situation- as Gabby seems to have gone AWOL. She’s totally unprepared for the job- and she’s going to have to ‘fake it till she makes it’. But not before making a few potentially costly mistakes- and falling for her ‘boss’ in the process.
Hudson Quinn is a bit of a playboy billionaire, who has a bit of a heavy heart. He’s under a lot of pressure to make sure an incredibly lucrative deal goes through without a hitch. He thought he’d hired the perfect person to assist him with the task- but he’s beginning to suspect that hiring her is just another mistake to add to his long list of failures. But their time in Paris has him questioning a lot of things, including his feelings. But what happens when things go off the rails? Can they salvage the situation? What happens when secrets are revealed? Will everything work out- or will it all end in emptiness and regret?
I loved Hudson and Abby right from the beginning- they were really interesting and incredibly endearing! I didn’t like Gabby much- she was so irresponsible, self-indulgent, spiteful, and careless. Even after she’d ‘turned over a new leaf’ I was still annoyed with her.
The story is told from duel perspectives- which gave me a complete ‘picture’ of what was happening and how the characters were feeling. It has such a great pace, and a wonderfully smooth flow- the story was incredibly easy to read, and I devoured it in a matter of hours.
The ending is perfect!!
Can not wait to read whatever Ms. Scott does next! I’m going to be all over it like white on rice!

Thank you, Ms. Scott!

The Bad Twin
By: Avery Scott
5 out of 5 stars

The story The Bad Twin by Avery Scott is a new adult romance book. It is a story that pulls you in from the beginning and doesn’t let you go until the last page. I loved reading about the characters of Abby Levesque and Hudson Quinn. Abby is a young woman who has an identical twin. She considers herself the responsible one while her sister seems to just cruise through life. Abby is smart, beautiful, and independent. Hudson is a man that works for the family business. He is haunted by the past. His father is at times harsh and Hudson feels his displeasure at his decisions. He is working on the deal of a lifetime. What will happen when he mistakes Abby for her sister? Abby finds herself in Paris with Hudson. She also finds herself attracted to him. They seem to have a connection. Will Hudson find out the truth about who she is? What does the future hold for Hudson and Abby? Read this book to find out. This story has romantic scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. There is passion and desire between Abby and Hudson. I found myself caring about them both and wanting them to find happiness. Don’t miss out on a book that is sure to grab your attention and keep you turning pages to find out what happens next. I highly recommend reading it.

Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent – Review by Karyn Taylor

Not So Wrong (Love Grows series, Book 2)Not So Wrong by Renee Regent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Not So Wrong is the 2nd book in the Love Grows series by Renee Regent. It can be read as a stand-alone, even though Gibson and Sacha from the first book, Not So Broken are also in this book. In this second book Spencer is the cousin of Gibson and Melanie is Sacha’s best friend so it was an added bonus catching up with this couple again.
Like the first book, our hero and heroine are a very unlikely partnership. Spencer is a billionaire whereas Melanie grew up in a trailer park. What brings them together is music. Melanie is a fantastic singer/songwriter whereas Spencer has secretly been composing music for years. Having met at a family party, they discover this connection.
I have to say that I loved both of these characters. Melanie has had such a hard life so far. Her passion for music is what keeps her going. Spencer is an extremely likeable character, who also happens to be drop dead gorgeous. I was very intrigued as to why he and Spencer did not get on. What was the secret that Spencer was holding onto?
The story is action packed and fast paced, so it keeps you gripped from beginning to end. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope that this series will continue.

I loved this book! This is a romance story that pulled me in right from the start. The author writes with emotion and well developed ideas. The characters pop off the pages and made the story feel realistic. I read this book in one sitting, a page turner to the end. Two sisters, Gabby and Abby. Abby is the responsible one and Gabby is more wild. What will happen when the sisters are mixed up? Can there be a happy ending for one of them? This is my favorite yet so far and a must read.

Out Bad (Sinners or Saints Book 1) by Janice M. Whiteaker – Review by Jenni Bishop

Out BadOut Bad by Janice M. Whiteaker
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Out Bad (Sinners or Saints Book 1) by Janice Whiteaker is a wonderful contemporary romance story with a bad boy ex-biker who has spent several years trying damn hard to turn his life around. He is full of pain and angst, guilt and turmoil, longing and want and is really hard on himself with what he has done even though he has paid for it, it still doesn’t quiet the negative thoughts he has of himself . He wants to settle down but isn’t sure he is worthy for it as much as he longs to have love and a family. I really loved this character but I wish he would have stopped putting himself down as much as he did, sometimes it was a bit overkill. He is an alpha male who is caring and when he sees something he wants he doesn’t stop to go after it.

Gwen is one sassy and independent, hard working woman but she is living with the pain of loss. She is in a job where men think with their second head making her become someone she no longer knows, she has become hardened. So when a sexy domineering man sets his sights on her, she knows she should stay away but she cant and she doesn’t know who she is in the process.

Both characters have a lot to sort through to get to a healthy place in their relationship but will they survive the truth that is yet to be told?

I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to see what is next in the series.

Not So Wrong (Love Grows series, Book 2)Not So Wrong by Renee Regent
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really couldn’t wait to get my hands on Not so Wrong. This is book two in the Love Grows series from Renee Regent, and I fell in love with this series and author in book one. They are written as of now where you could read them as stand alones or out of order. However, you do get to meet the main characters for Not so Wrong briefly in book one. Either way, both are fab and your won’t want to miss out on either of them.

I truly loved reading Melanie and Spencer’s story. These two captured my heart fairly quickly and I was consumed with them from beginning to end, well past my bedtime. I truly think the only negative for this story for me was that it ended. I loved the music theme with this. Melanie and Spencer both have a love for music in common. Sencer writes and composes music and Melanie loves to sing. The music that is possible to be made when these two come together is beautiful and ever present in the writing. I was captivated and could almost feel as if I was there watching these two in person. I absolutely cannot wait to see what will come next in this series!!

YES! This book is perfection! I have followed the Prestian Series all the way to the Torizial Affair and this is by far my most favorite of them all. Claimed is book three in the Torzial Affair series and I HIGHLY recommend that you read these books in order. You will really be able to understand and see the series for what it is, the romance and progression of a couple discovering they are meant for the BDSM lifestyle. In fact, Claimed, is the culmination in fact of that journey, where Brian and Jenny truly realize the roles in which they desire and need to have a successful relationship. This was such a beautifully written journey and I cant wait to see what will come next from the ever talented Via Mari.

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts #2)Into Pieces by Nicole Banks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

UGH!! Where do I even start with Into Pieces? First of all, I cannot say enough good things about this book but I will start with the gorgeous cover! If I hadn’t already read book one I would have grabbed this novel without even knowing what it was about. I had to have this book once I finished book one, Shattered. I was lucky in that I read that only recently so I didn’t have the dreaded wait it seems for some, a thing I am glad about.

This book really reached the high expectations that book one set and actually for me in some ways exceeded it. I loved the dark almost thriller like undertone that kept me intrigued and on my toes as I fell in love with Jas and Angel. These two really tore me apart, literally ‘into pieces and slowly put me back together. Its beautifully written even in the dark parts. I can’t wait to see what we will get with book three. I can only expect that it will be just as fabulous as the first two.

I have been really looking forward to reading the second book in this series as I was especially excited to read Melanie and Spencer’s story! And as expected I was not disappointed at all! I fell in love with the two main characters straight away. There was just something about them both that drew me in straight away – Melanie was a strong, independent woman and Spencer – well he was just so hot I fell in love with him as soon as I met him – but as well as that there was a slight vulnerability about him that I really liked. There was just something so special about the two of them that together they just seemed to work, they both had their own secrets to deal with and I just knew that together they would be able to help each other out.
The author has written a really beautiful tale, the pace and flow of the story is excellent and my interest was kept from beginning to end. I absolutely loved Not So Wrong and I cannot wait to read more from Ms Regent again in the future!

Miss Barrett has created a world of small town life with vivid, delightful people who make the reader want to visit Cinnamon Bay. I was so looking forward to this book. I met these two in the first book in this series and knew this was their story and couldn’t wait to dive in.

Spencer and Melanie won me over immediately and the world around me did not exist while I read this book. It brought out all the feels and I’m not sure why but books that have to do with singers or music in general don’t normally catch my attention but this one sold me completely. I sincerely loved every word and that is thanks to this author’s beautiful writing style and her way with words.

“There are so many regrettable things I’ve done in my life. But it turns out, there was nothing so wrong that it couldn’t be made right. All it took was the truth.”

That statement totally touched me and I’m not sure why but I dont think Ive ever had it put like that and I love it!

I can not wait for Audrey’s story and I also can not wait to read these books again..I can not recommend enough!!

LOVED IT!!

Not So Wrong (Love Grows series, Book 2)Not So Wrong by Renee Regent
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Not So Wrong by Renee Regent is the second book in the Love Grows series. This is a standalone contemporary romance with great characters.
Renee Regent is an author that really knows how to write a great book. She weaves such a tale with strong and engaging characters. This is definitely something that is prevalent throughout this book. Melanie and Spencer were brilliant together. Their chemistry was instant. The whole way through the book I was willing them to find a way to make things work.
I thought the overall story was good. It was well paced and the author did a great job of developing the arc. It was an easy book to fall into and one that I found I had read quicker than I thought – it was definitely over too soon! I can certainly say that this author is one that, although I have only discovered recently, I enjoy reading every single time.

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) by Nicole Banks. This is the second book in this series and its amazing. Fair warning, It’s not for the faint of heart. Its the continuation of Jasmine and Angel’s story. This book is better than story 1 because you get more in to the emotional side. Jasmine is becoming a stronger women in this book and Angel just wants to help her heal from the past. The horrible event that happened to her is still causing her pain but she is trying to heal and move on. Angel is trying to get over the guilt of feeling like he should have done more to save her from the attack. We are introduced to another couple in this book that I hope to read more about; Chase & Kris. They seem super fun! I just can’t wait for the next book to see how Jasmine & Angel have grown as a couple.

This book will tug at your heart strings. I loved the strength that Tess had after everything that she went through. She was afraid to open her heart again but how could you not fall head over heels in love with Tatum, Alice and especially Brian. My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) by Nicole Banks continues from book 1 and I must say I enjoyed this part of the story than the first. It is well written and it is about real life problems and the angst of love. It is a story where all your emotions are out on display right along with the characters. The characters are more developed and you could feel that Nicole really put her emotions in them as well. This heart wrenching, soul searing and yet beautiful story will leave you wanting more. It also features our next couple in the romance department and it will be just as interesting read I am sure as this one was.

Jasmine and Angel and finally got their shit together and decided to work as a couple but as we all know falling in love and nothing is ever a walk in the park. They still have a lot of work to do on themselves and as we know taking a good hard look at yourself in the mirror is never a pleasant thing. Just when Jas thought her life was safe the horrors of her past are once again front and centre and taking its hold of her and threatening everyone she loves and her own sanity.

I look forward to reading Chases’ and Kris’ story next, I just know it will blow us away.

Tess arrives in Cinnamon Bay and finds that she doesn’t have a place to stay during her short stay in town. She is a songwriter hired to write songs for a movie that is filming in the area. When someone overhears her conversation she is given an ad looking for a nanny, she decides to go to the house out of curiosity.

Tess ends up meeting Brian and his girls and they love her. She gets the job and starts to grow very close to all three of them very quickly. Tess tells them that she will only be there temporarily, when she finds out what happened to Brian’s wife she starts to understand the girls better. When Brian gets some news that could change things for him, Tess steps in and offers to help him.

Brian and Tess start to have feelings for each other, but she can’t stay no matter what her heart is saying. She can’t stay in one spot too long or he will find her. He continues to call her just to let her know he hasn’t forgotten about her. When she gets a call from home she rushes back, will she return to Brian and the girls or will she move on once again?

Overall I really loved the story and all of the characters, even the three nosy matchmaker ladies that brought them together. The way that Tess connected with Brian and her girls was great. The author does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing and I couldn’t stop reading until I was done. My emotions were all over the place. I look forward to reading more from this series and author. This is going in my must reads for 2019. 1-click and get started on this great series today.

Collision (Shattered Hearts Book 3) by Nicole Banks – Review by Kerry Baker

Collision (Shattered Hearts, #3)Collision by Nicole Banks
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Collision by Nicole Banks is the third book in the Shattered Hearts series. This book can be read as a standalone although for the full experience I would recommend reading them in order.
Knowing this was the book coming next I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. We are introduced to Kris and Chase briefly in the previous books and I just knew how explosive their chemistry was going to be. I couldn’t wait for their story to unfold.
This was definitely a strong follow up to the previous books as well. Nicole Banks has a way of crafting such a detailed and interesting story that you find yourself getting lost in them. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) by Nicole Banks – Review by Shannon Fowler

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts #2)Into Pieces by Nicole Banks
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Into Pieces is the conclusion to Jasmine and Angel’s story. This time around, Banks lets out all the demons that could possibly break Jasmine and Angel, together and separately. Their pasts are hard to read about but the story as a whole is easy to read as the plot moves quickly and sometimes unexpectedly. Banks ended the first book in this series with a twisted cliffhanger and this one is no different. I loved how even though this was Jasmine and Angel’s story we get to read about how Kris and Chase may one day get together! They are pretty hot themselves.

I recommend this story and can’t wait to read more about in this series and any other stories Banks may write!
