Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent was an excellent Romance. I had a lot of fun reading this novel. Spencer and Melanie were two extremely talented and creative individuals. Their musical abilities had me full of envy. I really enjoyed following these two as their story progressed. Regent did an amazing job on their development.
This is the first book I have read in this series and will say that it can be read as a standalone. I felt the author provides enough detail to prevent readers from getting confused if they haven’t read the first book in the series. I do plan on eventually reading book one since this one was addicting. I highly recommend it!

What an unbelievable ending to this fantastic series! This is book 3 in the Shattered Hearts series and you must read them in order. Each book takes you on an incredible journey through the lives of these people. This final book tore me apart more times than I can count but I came out in the end all put back together again! This author truly knows how to pull every possible emotion out of her readers.
This is ultimately Kris and Chase’s story but all of your favorite characters from the first two books come out to play. I was so involved in the lives of these people. I felt like I was right there with them through everything they were going through. I laughed with them, cried with them, wanted to be there to protect them and help them work through their issues. While I can’t go into details without giving anything away, I will say that this book definitely keeps you turning the pages and won’t let you put it down until the very end. If you try to put it down, it will just drive you crazy because you absolutely have to find out what happens next! There were so many times I wanted to call the author and yell at her! (It’s probably a good thing I don’t have her number!) LOL! I couldn’t quite understand how she could possibly do this to me! But every time I was ready to start screaming and throwing things, she pulled me back from the edge. Just when you think you have it all figured out, it all changes. This story is full of drama and suspense, and plenty of romance and sexual tension that is off the charts hot!
I highly recommend this book and this series. Just be prepared for intense emotional overload! You will fall in love with 90% these characters and feel and see everything through their eyes. You will absolutely hate the other 10%! At least I did! There are still some lingering questions in my mind that I’m going to have to let go of. I would recommend you grab a bunch of friends and start a book club and read this series together so you can discuss it as you go along! Trust me you’ll want someone to rant to! 5 stars. Excellent work! I’m looking forward to more from this author!

Not So Wrong by Renee Regent is the second book in the Love Grows series.
This is Spencer and Melanie’s story and it was worth every minute I spent reading it. Though there were a few times I wanted to pop Spencer for being an idiot.
Melanie has the weight of her family resting on her shoulders. She has a Mom, sister, a niece and two nephews depending on her and she feels so torn about everything.
Spencer has a problem with looking bad in anyone’s eyes. He will do everything he can to be the hero. It seemed like that continued to blow up in his face.
I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I really love it when I find new authors. This book was a real good read. I found the author’s style to be quite refreshing. I found the characters to be very realistic and relateable. The book kept me glued to the pages.
I really like how the story isn’t predictable. The chemistry between Gwen and Joe is very electric. The way that their love story plays out is very realistic. The author has a good balance of drama and romance. I found myself routing for Gwen and Joe. I felt as though the characters just jumped right off of the page.I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

Jenny has gone through a lot and has come out on top but someone is still after her and its time to finally find out who is after her so she can finally live a peaceful life.
Her relationship with Brian has changed from sexually to them finally admitting their feelings to each other. Brian opening up his heart and showing Jenny the world she had always been curious about, but with danger lurking around every corner, who is really loyal to who?
This was another fast paced novel where I wasn’t sure what was going on and there was so many twists and turns and people in danger and mafia kidnappings, that I had to reread some parts.
This series surprised in some many ways and I am glad that I gave it a try.

With the news of her ex-boyfriend killed, all evidence points to Jenny, who did not commit the crime. Someone is framing her and even making up evidence. Knowledge of Ty, her ex boyfriend, embezzle money in the company she has worked so far to build up, Jenny has to make some tough decisions including what her relationship is with Brian before it becomes too late. She has people after her on every side, and not sure who to trust. Anyone could be working against her.
This novel was really fast paced with trying to find evidence to clear up Jenny’s name in the murder and to find out who really did it, but things weren’t looking so good for her. Her feelings for Brian are becoming stronger and wonders if she cares for her in the same way that she does for him.
I can’t believe I finished this a few hours and I am on the seat of seat to find out how this ends.

This story really surprised me. I thought I knew how it was going to go but I was so wrong. Jenny is a strong character who is trying to make a name for herself and make her father proud but there are things about her past that she is start healing and turns to alcohol to face her demons.
Brian has a hard life and is unable to trust people but shows he has a caring side when he meets Jenny.

Collision is the third and final book in the Shattered Hearts Series by Nicole Banks. This story has been a while in the making, and I am so happy to say that it was definitely worth the wait. Even though I loved the other two books, Ms. Banks saved the best till last with this one, as this is my favourite of the series. It’s a fantastic second chances story with emotion, obstacles, danger, suspense, chemistry, drama, angst, family, and romance. I waited so long to finally get my hands on this book, so I was really excited to get to finally dive in. The story held my attention from beginning to end, and I was so immersed in it all that I read it in one sitting. “Collision” has been quite a bittersweet experience, because on one hand I have been wanting to read this story for a while now and then finally got to dive into it and found it was everything I could have hoped for and more- but then in the back of my mind I know it’s also the final book in the series and that’s a little bit sad. Chase and Kris got together eight years ago and spent an unforgettable night together- before he up and left, and he hasn’t been back, till now. Kris hasn’t heard from him in eight years and was quite hurt when he left the way he did. Now he’s back and wants to pick up where they left off. How will that work out for him? Then add the danger elements with all the suspenseful details, some emotion, and this story becomes really hard to put down. So worth the wait!

At first, I was unsure of exactly how I felt about Gwen in the beginning but as I read and learned more about her history, I absolutely fell in love with her and Joe. First off I think Gwen is way too good for Joe. He’s kind of a baby about not having ever been introduced to her before, like is his best friend’s job to introduce him to all his in-laws. Secondly, I really didn’t like his line of thinking that Gwen could save him. That really put me off when I read the synopsis. It’s not a woman’s job to save the bad boy. She’s not his mother. That being said, I went ahead and read this and it was pretty good. Gwen and Joe had pretty good chemistry and I was able to ignore how much of an emotional child Joe was. I get that he’s done terrible things and even though he’s paid the price, it haunts him. But his reluctance to really deal with those emotions bugs me.

Collision (Shattered Hearts Book 3) by Nicole Banks was a pretty interesting read that kept me engaged, and flipping the pages.
This book was by far the better out of the three. I like these two from the other two books, and frankly, I liked their storyline better. Mainly because I felt they were better developed characters. So when I seen they got their own story I was all for it. Needless to say, I was impressed, hooked and fall hard for this redeeming third book, in this okay series. Maybe because the author was more mature when it was written, as it was started at the start of the book. You can tell there is a different tone a written style. The overall story was well put together, from the opening, to the reuniting, to the danger and the thick chemistry. I loved how Chase had to fight he way back in, and the way Kris wasn’t having any of his excuses. I was one her side, even though I was rooting for them the whole time. It was a wonderful, reconnecting second chance romance, that was heavy on the feels, and heart pounding suspense.
I have to say this book is worth your time, it can be read as a standalone, but it you want their full backstory and the building romance, then I do suggest the other two books. They’re good reads as well, and this whole series gets my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval

Another winner from Scott. This was a quick read for me, one that I fell into quickly and enjoyed every page. Scott has a great way of voicing the main characters, making them relatable, and providing a natural ebb and flow to the relationship that the reader ends up rooting for. I really enjoyed this book. Perfect for a weekend afternoon. I cannot wait to sit down and read it again.

I’ve been waiting to read this book until I had the quiet time to focus. I knew this book would be explosive and what’s been building in the background in previous books and boy was it. I felt everything on this book, and I was rooting so hard and I can say I yelled finally a couple times. I’m not giving much away but what would you do if after 8 years your should have been comes back into the picture after radio silence?
Not So Wrong is Book #2 in this series. This book was just as brilliant as the first if not better. I was captivated with this reading from the get-go until the very end, this author has created a world that immerses you in the characters and their journey and the incredible storyline. Renee Regent has created a book that makes you feel as though you a part of a story and the characters lives, I loved watching Melanie and Spencer relationship, chemistry and connection grow and seeing their journey progress.
I can’t wait to see what else this author brings to this series and also who’s story we will get next. Well, Done Ms Regent I can’t wait to read more from you!

Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent. I loved the first book in this series so I was super excited to read this book. It did not let me down. It’s an amazing story about Spencer Colebank who works for his family business and is a billionaire. He’s also has ghosts in his past he’s trying to run from. Melanie Parker is an amazing singer who is beautiful, strong, independent and is about to give up on her dream of being a famous singer because her family needs her. The only thing in common Spencer and Melanie have in common is music and he’s trying to convince her to stay in Atlanta because of the song they wrote together might actually become a record. As they work together they become more and more attracted to each other and sparks fly. Will their song make Melanie a star and will she and Spencer have more than a song between them. Read Not So Wrong to find out!

This is probably one of my favorite series that has sucked me in this year! I love the ups and downs Brian and Jenny has faced and how they fight for their love!
This was the ending that top any and all of my expectations. Throughout the other books in this series, the couple has had massive hurdles to conquer and honestly I believe many would’ve quit if they were in their shoes. This book and this series has brought so many feelings in the forefront and the feels will take on one heck of a rollercoaster ride.
I don’t want to give anything away but if you have been reading Brian and Jenny’s story then this is the ending you’ve been dying for. If you haven’t read this series yet, then this needs to be your next binge read!

Out bad is the start of a new series called Sinners or Saints series by Janice M. Whiteaker. And WHAT an amazing start to this series. You meet Joe, ex biker who wants to turn his life around. He continues to beat himself up for what he did when he was with an MC but he also tried often to make amends for his past. All things seem to change when he meets Gwen. Gwen, who also has her own issues from her past, is sassy, strong, smart, and beyond hardworking. The attraction between these two, is off the charts and they can’t even deny what is between them! But the question is, can these two look beyond the past and create a life together? I have never read this author and I will say I will be reading more. The writing style and strong story lines pulled me in and I can’t wait to read more by this author and more in the series. I highly recommend this four star read!

This story held me entranced. I just kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. Then I wanted to see the blow back because of the switch. And Oo La La did it drop! Not quite what I was expecting but HeLLO….talk about embarrassing and devastating. I had many feelings about these characters. They made me wonder and brought me joy. I also was frustrated at the situation along with fascinated with the art aspect. Hudson…Hudson..Hudson you are a wonderful man. I didn’t like you a first because of you womanizing ways but you redeemed yourself a couple times over. Abby I was concerned you would be too much of a pushover but you showed me that responsibility can pay off.
This is a first time author for me. I loved the idea of this story. It held up to my ideals. The story flowed along nicely and the characters were what kept me coming back and wanting more. This is a wonderful story that kept me guessing.

Collision (Shattered Hearts Book 3) By Nicole Banks. Now let me say that the first two books made me fall for every single character in this series, I was a little worried on how I’d feel about this one not being focused on the previous main characters. But I honestly worried for no reason. This author does a wonderful job of writing a story that very much involves all the characters. I highly recommend reading these in order. Kris and Chase definitely captured my heart and wouldn’t let go. I love the writing style of different POV it gives such a rounded view on everything going on. If you want a series where you connect with just about every character this is it! Five stars all the way!
Joe first notices Gwen while out at the bar, when he asks his best friend about her he’s warned off. Which causes him to be curious as to why his best friend doesn’t want him around his sister-in-law.
I’m not into docile woman. I want one that will give me a run for my money.
Gwen has moved closer to her sister so she can spend time with her nieces. When she meets Joe there is something about him that she can’t get out of her mind. Only thing is, she isn’t looking for anything serious and Joe is beyond just a fling, he wants more.
Can Joe break down Gwens walls and get more from her? Can they have a HEA?
Gwen was a strong and sassy character. Joe was great he was an original bad boy who has turned a new leaf, he’s now sweet, caring and so much more. I quickly fell for him. This is a well written story about following your dream because life isn’t always “sunshine and rainbows. Money helps tremendously, but it doesn’t solve everything .”

I liked this because it’s about an mid-age couple. Something that you don’t see every day. They are living their life and one chance meeting will alter the course. I loved the idea of Spencer writing music. I can’t even imagine the talent it takes so this always impresses me. I hope the career takes off for him as it seems he has been doing it a while. Singing is great as well (something I only do in my car or alone). I can’t imagine putting myself out there for many years over and over. Melanie seems to have the singing career but is struggling to make that last step. They are both wanting to follow a dream.
This is the second book in this series. It can easily be read as a stand alone. This is my second book by this author. She does a good job on making the characters well rounded and get better as the story moves forward. It was nice to see characters from the first book.

Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent is a beautiful romance story about two people on the opposite sides of reality and the most unlikely couple to fall in love. But when you make music and have such a passion for something you love then they make their own music. Renee has written a wonderful story that you cannot stop reading until you have finished the whole book.
Spencer is a billionaire who has secrets, ones he doesn’t want anyone to know, ones that could destroy him but when he meets a woman with the voice of an angel he longs for more than he ever has before. Melanie has longed for the love of her life to become a reality but after so long being in pursuit of her dreams, she is about to give. However, when she meets a kindred soul she must choice between the family that needs her and the man with a passion to match her own. I fell in love with the characters and know you will too. I am looking forward to what comes next.

5 Star Claimed (The Torzial Affair Book 3) by Via Mari
Claimed is the third book in The Torzial Affair Series by Via Mari. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t stop reading till the end. I highly recommend reading this series in order as you will get a better understanding of what is going on. This is the continuation of Jenny and Brian’s story and we pick right up where the second book left off. Jenny just got the verdict and is free but it’s far from over. Danger is still lurking. Someone wants her silenced and Brian is willing to do anything for it not to happen. This story is a nail biting on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what happens next especially with all the twists and turns. Its suspenseful and has just enough action to keep you hooked. Can Brian protect Jenny and keep her safe? Find out what happens next. I can’t recommend this book and the whole series enough. It’s a must read you won’t regret it I know I didn’t. I can’t wait to see what this Author has for us next.

September Breeze (Cinnamon Bay Romance Book 2) by Nikki Lynn Barrett – Review by Randall Murphy The setting is a quaint quirky little Bay-side town with all the adorable characters and close-knit environment that normally accompanies them. The plot is deep and had me laughing, smiling, and even misty-eyed at times. This story will draw you in and hold you captivated while it teaches some important life lessons. The characters will make you fall in love with them as well as the story. This story will make you want to know more about the town and the “magic love potion” that the old ladies brag about.

The story Not So Wrong (Love Grows Book 2) by Renee Regent is a contemporary/new adult romance book and it’s the second book that I have read by this author. The characters are well written and amazing and the things that they had to deal with in this story made them feel real. The plot was awesome. What happens when a billionaire who can’t face his past and an independent woman who has given up on her future meet? They have nothing in common except music so what can they offer each other? Will the perfect song give them a future, or tear them apart? Melanie after years of trying to make it as a singer, it’s time to stop chasing a dream that won’t come true. Her family needs her, and soon she’ll be leaving Atlanta for good. But Spencer Colebank is tempting her to stay, with hope the song they wrote together will win us a record deal. Spencer thinks Melanie Parker, sings like an angel gone bad, has taken his heart. His family’s business expectations have always taken priority, but writing their song together has inspired him to stop hiding his musical talent and show the world who he really is. But his past mistakes have come back to haunt him, and honoring the promise he can’t break means risking everything they’ve built together. Spencer has made Melanie believe again but can she trust him? Melanie has given Spencer his spark back that he thought he lost forever. Can she forgive him or will she walk away from him for good? I highly recommend this story/series and can’t wait to see what Ms. Regent has in-store for us next.

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) By Nicole Banks. Just as shattering at book one, I was completely hooked from page one again. I highly recommend reading these in order. Once again this author writes on a subject most can’t even think about. And did a great job of it, the strength the author gives the characters blows me away. Jasmine is one of my favorite female characters this year, she come back to herself from the unthinkable. And we could all use a little Angel in our life. These two had me captured in their world. I love the multi POV it makes the story fuller. I’m so excited to read the next one. Well written and paced nicely, with incredible characters. Five stars all the way!
