Four Stars

Bound is the second book in the Torzial Affair series by Via Mari. This is the continuation of Jenny and Brian’s story. This series should be read in order and I would also suggest reading the Prestian series before you read this series. They are all excellent books and they will give you the backstory to fully understand this series. This story is full of action and suspense. It had me hooked from the very first page. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend this story if you love Billionaire love stories.

Proper Ink (Jaded Lily #2)Proper Ink by Zeia Jameson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Proper Ink is the second book in the Jaded Lily Series from Zeia Jameson. I struggled with book one, mostly because I couldn’t connect at all with the MC’s so I was truly looking forward to getting more with a new focus being the center of the novel. I am so stinking happy that I decided to stick to it and read this book. I personally adored Luca. He has to be on my top ten list of book-boyfriends that I have read this year. I am absolutely in love with this book. I will say that it struggled a tad for me with some of the finishing/flow, and it could have stepped up the steam factor with the couple. It was there as far as potential, it just fell a tad short. This book does follow up or basically take place right after the first book, but I do think you could read these out of order or just choose this one if you so desired. I personally love having the whole series read. Overall this was a solid four-star read with a swoony lead to boot. I will be back for more with book three as soon as it is available!!

Proper Ink (Jaded Lily #2)Proper Ink
By: Zeia Jameson
My Rating: 4 of 5 stars

Proper Ink (Jaded Lily Book 2) by Zeia Jameson was a pretty enjoyable read that had me hooked, and flipping the pages.

Not my first read from this author or in this series, so I new going in that it was going be something fun and entertaining. I wasn’t let down, and I very much enjoyed this book.

I liked the MC’s, both had strong qualities and personalities, that you know, got in the way of them progressing. But in truth that made this romance all the more realistic. I actually related hard to Luca, I tend to fight my feelings hard as well. I understood him, got why he was standoffish, and why it took him a bit to gather himself to make a move. Yes, it’s frustrating, but like I said, it made the story all the more real, as it reflects how real people deal with emotions and hurt. Kerry, I found was that good match, and fit well with him. I got more frustrated in the way she handled work, I get it, sometimes you can’t take a stand, but then again, I felt like she could have use her voice more.

Overall this book was well written, detailed, and it had a sweet, feels invoking romance that was anything but normal. This book is worth your time and energy, and it gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Happy Reading

Proper Ink is the second book in the Jaded Lily series by Zeia Jameson. This can be a stand alone story but reading the first book will enhance the story that much more. Zeia Jameson has a flowing descriptive story telling ability. This keeps the story interesting, and would keep the pages to turn to the next part of the story. Lucas is a tattoo artist that has been unlucky with the ladies. He was not looking for any lady or relationship for that matter. Lucas met Kerry while she was looking for a tattoo. There was something about her that peaked his interest. He wanted to stay away from her, but the universe had another idea. Kerry was a strong lady who for Lucas interesting because he was pushing back. Will Lucas allow Kerry to be in his life? Or will Lucas keep his focus on his art?

Having read book one, I had high hopes for the second installment in the Jaded Lily series. And I was not disappointed. At all!!! I loved this book from start to finish and LOVED that it was told from Luca’s POV. Strong characters with a wonderful story. Absolutely a fantastic book. You do not have to read book one in order to appreciate Proper Ink. However you will appreciate the character and plot development much deeper if you do. Highly recommended!

Proper Ink by Zeia Jameson was a quick romance. I would give this read a 5 out of 5 stars. I really enjoyed the pace of this book and the backstory was filled in beautifully. Luca was a fantastic read and I was impressed with the detail from a male pov. I loved the emotions and character building. Kerry was nice to read about as well. I would love to read something from her pov versus two people now describing her. This is the second book in the Jaded Lily series, I would not recommend it without reading the first book but you could.

It has been awhile since I read the 1st in this series, which I loved by the way and it says a lot about an author in my opinion when I pick another book up down the road after reading a trillion in between and the whole first comes back to me immediately..The characters from the first book weave through this one and we met the mains of this one in the first book. I’m not normally a fan of books running alongside each other in some parts but in this one it definitely worked.

What can I say about Luca? I fell head over heels for him and my heart completely shattered for him, I loved getting to know him as he fascinated me in the first book. I love his friendship with Padraig and his connection with Kerry was off the charts hot and completely awesome. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd book I’ve read where the whole story is told from the lead male’s perspective and I loved it!!

This author transported me into this story and I could see everything described, Luca was an artist and I swear I could see and feel all that he did. It was awesome!

You could probably read this as a standalone but I am so glad I didn’t and I can not wait for the next story in this series.

Amazingly Awesome!!

Proper Ink (Jaded Lily #2)Proper Ink by Zeia Jameson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Proper Ink is the 2nd book in the awesome Jaded Lily series by Zeia Jameson. Most of the storyline runs concurrently with the first book in the series, Proper Irish. I had devoured the first book in one sitting and this one was a repeat performance. We had met both of the main characters in Proper Irish and I was really looking forward to reading Luca and Kerry’s story.
Luca Cipriani is a wonderful character. Having been seriously heartbroken in the past, he doesn’t let anyone in to his little bubble. His life revolves around the tattoo shop that he owns, Jaded Lily. I loved that we are given so much of Luca’s history, from his heartbreak and to how he came to be friends with Padraig (hero of Proper Irish) and then become a tattoo artist.
Kerry Frazier is a sweetheart. Best friend and working partner of Stella from the first book. She’s intrigued by Luca and wants to help him move on. I loved that this book is told from Luca’s point of view as it really allows the reader to understand the pain and struggle he has gone through.
This series has grabbed me so far and I can’t wait to read more of it. Highly recommended.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Proper Irish (Jaded Lily Book 1) by Zeia Jameson is a five star novel. This novel will have you wrapped around the author’s little finger. I loved every minute of it. When we are introduced to Stella, she is almost maniacally busy and off kilter. I feel like that is my life sometimes so I love reading about other people whose lives rare more crazy than mine. When she meets Padraig, he is the worst person ever and is very offensive. As she continues to try to find him, she runs into him and continues to have unkind words with him, that is until they are finally able to get on common ground and let down their barriers. As she plans an event for the mayor’s wife, Padraig tells her she needs to have more of a true Irish flair. As they start to plan together, both are happy and excited to see where this leads.

Proper Irish is Book One in the Jaded Lily Series and my second book by this author. I did read these books out of order but I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything, I just gained more from it this way!

This author has a brilliant writing style that is descriptive, flowing and writes a brilliant storyline with some even better characters. I was totally captivated with this read, I couldn’t wait to see whether our two main characters Padraig & Stella get a HEA, but even if not I just loved following their journey in this read! I loved their connection and the interactions they had throughout.

I loved this book and cant wait to see what else will happen with this series. I highly recommend this read and everything else Zeia Jameson brings, you won’t be disappointed.

Bound by Via Mari is the second book in the Torzial Affair series. You really do need to read this series in order as it does follow the same characters.
Out of all the books I have read by this author for me this one has been the most emotional so far. I could really feel Jenny’s pain and the struggle that she is going through each day. I enjoyed her character on the first book but there was something in this book that just made me connect with her even more.
The story was really intense. I was sucked completely in to it and devoured the book in one sitting. I am excited to see what else is to come from this series.

This is a story about how someone who you hate becomes someone that you love and can’t live without.

Stella is a hard working event planner whos alway’s busy rushing around. One day while carrying heavy things she falls and hears a voice calling her a stupid girl.

That voice belong to a guy called Padraig, he looks like a thug full of tattoos and a aggressive temper to go with it.

But people aren’t always what they seem and as they begin to get to know each other they realise just how wrong they were. First impressions aren’t always the right ones.

I loved this book, the love/hate relationship keeps you gripped and their path to true love is anything but smooth sailing

The Fisher Men X My HeartThe Fisher Men X My Heart by Rebel Nicks O’Dey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Fisher Men X My Heart is the first book in the Fisher Men Series by author Rebel Nicks O’Dey and is about four brothers and the girl next door and about the love they have for on another. After an incident occurs during their youth all the Fisher brothers make a pact to take care of Samantha in a brotherly fashion making am unavailable to each one. But the heart wants what the heart wants and Samantha falls in love with one of them. When she comes home from college she must decide if she loves him enough to possibly end relationships with the rest of the Fisher family. Which Fisher man has she chosen? Read the story to find out!
This was a story that was cute at times and sad at others with a good story line. Unfortunately for me something was missing. The back and forth with the diary entries and interviews kept throwing me off, so maybe that was it. Plus at times, Sam came off a little whiny but I did love the Fisher men and they were the characters that I fell in love with and they were the characters I finished the book for. Will I continue this series? Absolutely! I’m too invested now with the guys and I can’t wait to see who they end up with as their love interests.

Via Mari lives in the Midwest with her husband and their loveable fur baby. As a child who was raised in both the United States and the United Kingdom, she spent countless hours traveling and developed a passion for the written word at a young age.

She is an avid reader of romance. In fact, you can still find her curled up in an overstuffed chair, especially during winter when the wood fire is crackling and popping, reading a page-turning novel until the early hours of the morning.

As she began researching and writing love scenes for her own series, it became apparent there seemed to be a cultural divide between what people believed was normal sexual behavior, or vanilla, and that which people considered BDSM. She enjoys creating characters and scenes that allow the reader to safely explore what they would and would not be willing to try.

This is a new author for me, and I enjoyed this story. At the beginning, the author placed a warning about some of the scenes may be triggers for those who have experienced sexual assault. This book had laughter, happiness, sadness, and love for us to enjoy. Rebel Nicks O’Dey did a wonderful job, and I am excited for book 2.

The Fisher Men X My Heart (The Fisher Men Book 1) by Rebel Nicks O’Dey was an eye opening, heart wrenching and romantic read. I was hooked by the storyline from page one. I loved the writing style the author used to portray the story as an ongoing journalist interview. It really helped me focus in and gave me breaks from overwhelming heartache at times. I loved all the characters in this book except I seriously disliked the antagonists. They were created to be disliked though. The author made it easy to feel the pain and emotions of the main character during and after “the incident”. This story does feature graphic rape and sexual assault scenes that may not be appealing to some but really set the tone of the story. This is also the first book of this series. I highly recommend it and I look forward to reading more.

I found this book to be fun, romantic, and unique. I loved how a lot of the laws include Aiko. Although she goes about things in a very unconventional way, I still thought she was sassy and really wanted to do the right thing. She night bend the rules a little but it’s for all the right reasons. I felt like her sisters were really hard on her ( not that they didn’t have good reason) but it would be interesting to get to know them better. I like Alejandro’s character as well, even the times I rolled my eyes at him. Over all I really enjoyed this book and I recommend reading this story.

The Fisher Mex X My Heart is the first book I read by Rebel Nicks O’Dey, and I loved it. I am so glad there is going to be a whole series about this family! The synopsis drew me in, and I was curious how it all would unfold. In the beginning I thought it was weird that Samantha is so close to all of the Fisher boys, but by the end it totally made sense. I do feel bad for Chrissy for loosing a close friend to her brothers, but she handled it well and seemed okay with it. The characters are so well developed, and I love that each Fisher has a unique relationship with Samantha. Rebel has a way of writing that lets us envision the scene, and it was great. The end of the book almost made me cry, but I wont say why. Highly recommend this book and cant wait for the next in the series.

5 out of 5 stars

The story Proper Ink (Jaded Lily Book 2) by Zeia Jameson is a romance book that I loved reading. It pulled me in from the very beginning and I found myself lost in the story. I loved reading about Luca and Kerry. Luca is a man who knows tattoos. He has been building his reputation in his business. He doesn’t date. Then he meets Kerry. Kerry is an event planner and good at it. Although it may be hectic at times, she finds her job exhilarating and rewarding. Then she meets Luca. They agree not to label themselves; they are just hanging out. What happens when emotions begin to grow between them? What does the future hold for them? Will they take a chance on each other? Read this book to find out. This story has romantic scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. There are moments that are sad and others that are heartwarming. I grew to care about Luca and Kerry with each chapter that I read. I couldn’t help but want them to be happy. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are in the story. Some of them are familiar as they have been brought forward from the first book. Don’t miss out on a wonderfully written book that has unforgettable characters. I would highly recommend reading this story.

The Fisher Men X My HeartThe Fisher Men X My Heart by Rebel Nicks O’Dey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Fisher Men X My Heart is the first book in The Fisher Men series by Rebel Nicks O’Dey. All I can say is if the rest of this series is anything as good as this book, then we are in for one hell of a ride. Can I also mention that this book has absolutely nothing to do with fishing. The Fisher Men are 4 adorable brothers with the surname Fisher.
This book had me captured from the very beginning and didn’t let me go. 4 brothers: Morgan, Connor, Xander and Zack are there to protect their neighbour Samantha after a terrifying incident. They will do anything to protect her and have a pact never to date her. The all love her in their own way and she loves and needs them all in return BUT she is in love with one of them and now that she’s older and has graduated college she’s out to get her man. But which one has she chosen?
I have to say that I adored Samantha and all 4 brothers. They were all so different and each had their own amazing qualities. You won’t be able to put this book down, firstly wanting to know which brother she has chosen and then, how can they have a relationship without breaking the Fisher Men rules.
I loved that the author gave forewarning of a possible trigger in the story and also highlighted where the trigger was so that the reader could skip this part if they felt the need to do so.
I can’t wait to see what this author has in store for this amazing family of brothers in the remaining books in the series.

4 out of 5 stars

Aiko is the first book in The Heartstrings Series written by Brooke May and it’s the first book that I have read by this author but it won’t be my last. The story line is very different which I like and the characters are well written. I loved the little quirks they have.

Aiko is back after a forty-year exile. She has been given another opportunity to help humanity.
Alejandro Gomez is everything a woman could dream of in looks. His romantic abilities gyrate to the beat of mariachi. He is also Aiko’s new assignment.

Aiko is the worst cupid she is responsible for extermination of civilizations, plagues, and possibly the worst tragedy in human history may rest on her tiny shoulders.

Can Aiko help Alejandro find love or will she create another deadly consequence?

I simply enjoyed this story and I’m looking forward in reading the next book in this series?

The Fisher Men X My Heart by Rebel Nicks O’Dey is a lovely romance story and one I really enjoyed. The story kept me glued to the pages and wanting to know what was coming next. It is a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. There are just as many heartbreaking and heartwarming moments, one minute I was laughing out loud and the next breath I was in tears. There are some dark moments in the book but there is also light. Yes you will need the story for myself, kind of like unwrapping a christmas present. The bonds and friendships between the characters is one of love and caring and they are also very protective of one they consider their own.

The woman they love and whom they have helped shaped has returned but who will she pick?

I was hooked from the start and look forward to reading more from Rebel.

Aiko (The Heartstrings Series Book 1) by Brooke May is a romantic comedy and a wonderful original idea. Brooke has written a winner with this story that drew me in from the start and I found myself getting lost in the story. You can;t help but fall in love with this cupid as she is unique and I found myself laughing out loud with her antics. Being the worst cupid out of all but is certainly not for the want of trying.

Aiko is once again on an assignment to help Alejandro Gomez find love but nothing ever goes quite like she would like.

You really need to grab a copy of this clever and interesting story. I know you will fall in love with it. I am counting down until I can get a copy of the next book. Well done Brooke.
