Loved this book! Very emotional, plot twists every direction, and very relatable characters. Lucia is a girl who grew up with her best friend watching over her, Angelo. Their moms are best friends so they’ve been in each others lives forever. Reading this book, you feel so many different emotions. Love, happiness, pain, sorrow, joy, grief, and many, many more. This book teaches you to hope for the best and fight for what you want. Read this book if you love romance, emotional roller coasters, and amazing characters!

Breathless Love: A Small Town Friends to Lovers Romance (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 3)

My emotions were all over the place while reading. I got excited, frustrated, laughed and cried which might have happened in the break room at work with people coming in and out

I love the Bennett family so much. They are all such good people and I wish more families were like this.

It’s Hank’s turn to fall and boy does he. Ella Mae is exactly what he needed at that moment. I would like to think she was a gift from his Mama.

Each of the stories is a standalone happy ending, but I always prefer to read the series in order so I know who everyone is.

I cannot wait for the next book. October can’t get here fast enough.

Breathless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #3)Breathless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone. Although you don’t lose anything in relation to the couple by not going back and reading the first two books, I do recommend going back to read them.

The author’s descriptive writing paints a vivid picture of the scene and how the characters feel. The descriptions really let their personalities shine through and make the characters lovable.

I absolutely loved Hank and Ella together, they had such great chemistry and I almost squealed in delight as things developed. Ella’s brother was an interesting character and felt very real to me as I’ve known people with similar motivations.

This has been another great read and I’m gutted I must wait for the next book to be released to continue the series.

This is the second book in the series and although it can be read as a standalone, I wholeheartedly recommend going back to read the first book.

The author has done it again, not only by creating brilliant characters for me to fall in love with, but also the use of descriptive language making it so easy to fall into the scenes with the characters, and feeling what they feel.

From the very beginning I was hooked (again), emotionally invested in the characters and the outcome of their relationship. I am so grateful that this series has happily ever afters otherwise I’m sure I would be curled up in bed grieving for days on end.

I’m so happy I found this series; I binged it in about two days and am left wanting more!

Breathless Love by KG Fletcher is the third installment to the Bennetts of Langston Falls, however I read this as a standalone and really enjoyed it! I am very intrigued to pick up the others due to how much I enjoyed this story- which is more than I thought I would! I really enjoyed Hank a lot and the connection between him and Ella Mae was really enjoyable, and it wasn’t really over-the-top as it unfolded. I felt like this was an enjoyable read, great writing and would recommend to others who enjoy a really sweet romance that is believable and easy to follow along with.

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #1)Faultless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book in the series, and I have fallen in love with it!

From the offset, the author had me intrigued with the wrongful conviction and how Teddy would cope. Not only this but the descriptive language painted a vivid scene that I was easily able to step into alongside the characters. Just the simple act of eating an apple was written so well. You can feel the emotions of the characters and I got so emotionally invested I had to move straight onto book 2 to at least try to avoid the inevitable book hangover.

From the very first chapter you get a clear picture of who Teddy is and insight into his vulnerabilities. He’s such a sweet character, you can’t help but want to scoop him into your arms and squeeze all the hardship away!
Robyn was so right for him she never stopped believing in him and seeing their reunion and how it progressed was a treat.

I binged this series so hard while on holiday and I loved every second of it!

This was a good book and flowed nicely. Rockstar/musician stories are hit or miss for me but this author delivered a good story. I really liked Hank a lot and found him to be refreshing in this trope. Ella Mae was just ok for me but she did fit nicely with Hank. I look forward to other books by this author.

Hank and Ella Mae’s story was more than I expected. A chance encounter with Ella Mae, sister and songwriter to his musical idol, Travis, leads Hank into the world he always dreamed of. On the road with Ella Mae and Travis, Hank’s passion for music is reignited. He is also smitten with the songwriter and these two begin their own discovery together. I love how even with Hank on the road, we are given glimpses into the Bennett Family and stay connected to them throughout the story. The dynamic between Travis and Ella Mae was very detailed and so relatable to real life siblings. I did not expect to be so moved and saddened by this story. It was another heartfelt read to an incredible series.

Breathless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #3)Breathless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is book 3 in The Bennetts Of Langston Falls Series. This a a sweet romance and just like the other books in the series you can’t help but be captivated by the story. The author writing has the ability to transport the reader into this small town and the characters are so well written then could be your friends, they are easily to relate to and emotions and feelings came through in this story.
This book can be read as a standalone but because these books are so good I would recommend reading them all.

Hank has always wanted to become a famous country star but when his band decides they don’t want the same thing it leaves Hank feeling lost and wondering if all he was made for was working on his families farm after all. That is until a chance meeting changed his life in more ways than one.

Ella Mae is a talented songwriter. She has been touring with her brother Travis and when she meets Hank she feels such a strong connection that she invites him to join the band too see what life on tour is really like. The more time together they spent the more perfect the duo seem to be, both musically and romantically but it’s not going to be an easy path to their happy ever after.

One of the things I loved about this pairing is that support for one another. Elle Mae supports and encourages Hanks dreams to become a country star and when problems hit Elle’s personal life he is there standing and supporting her in the same way. Their attraction and connection is so pure that you can’t help but want them to succeed and get everything they dream of.
As well as the excitement of being on tour with the band and the romance that is building between Hank and Elle Mae the author also deal with topics such as drug and alcohol addiction and the effect that has not only on the person going through it but also everyone around them. It’s a beautiful story that shows that no relationship is perfect and that there could be problems along the way. The question is can Hank and Elle Mae overcome them together? Or will Hank decide that he prefers the quiet easier life on his families farm?

This the third book in the Langston Falls series and it was so good! You do not have to read them in order but I recommend it so you can have some back story to some of the references in the book. This story follows Hank and his road to finding love and possibly stardom. When he meets Ella Mae he is blown away by her personality and talent. They immediately hit it off and as they spend more time together their passion grows. You can feel the passion between them and their mutual love for music. This was a really great and quick read. I really enjoy reading about the Bennett family and cannot wait for the next book!

Acting Counsel (Kings of Screen, #3)Acting Counsel by Morgana Bevan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Catrina is a lawyer, who spends a night with a man who turns out to be her client, Nathan. As they spend more time together professionally, it becomes clear that they both want to take their personal relationship further, but their careers get in the way. It is the perfect level of “will they, won’t they?” You root for the characters to end up together but simultaneously fear that they might not get their happy ever after. A strong, independent, female love interest with a cute, sexy, male love interest, and it’s refreshing to see a male love interest that is certain of his feelings from the get go. My favourite character was Nathan, because how could I not fall in love with him? And my least favourite character was Mike, what a hypocrite. I recommend this book because I was hooked from page one. It is beautifully written, poetic, romantic, intense, with great dialogue. I think Nathan Logan might be my new favourite book boyfriend. ‘I wanted to brand myself onto her skin, her soul, make it so she could never forget these moments we’d shared beneath a sea of stars with the crash of waves our only soundtrack.’

Someone to Watch Over Me (Wounded Hearts Series Book 3) by Debbie Cromack – Review by Angela Shirley

Someone to Watch Over Me (Wounded Hearts, #3)Someone to Watch Over Me by Debbie Cromack
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Angelo had loved Lucia since the first time he saw her, but being her brother’s best friend, he always put himself in the role of protector until one night Lucia asked him for the thing he could not give. Lucia was devastated with the rejection from Angelo but although heartbroken she will carry on with her life and leave him and their friendship behind.

Months go by without them speaking and Angelo is becoming more agitated that he has not spoken to Lucia for ages until the summer when their family’s holiday together and there she is more beautiful than ever and still stirs the attraction within him, but he has to keep it in check until he is more stable and reliable in his work and life to offer her the vey best she deserves. Lucia is nervous to see him but as the holiday goes on the slip back into the ease of friendship until one night when he kisses her all her worlds come together only to be rejected again and heartbroken all over again.

Years later, water under the bridge Lucia discovers something which turns her world upside down, but all she can think about is the only person who can help her make sense of the situation and take care of her is Angelo, but will he be onboard for the long haul.

This is not the first book I have read by this author, and this certainly won’t be the last, although this is the third book in the series this book can be read as a standalone. The story is about a bond which although we try to dismiss seems to guide us back to the light which shines. Angelo was a great character full of honour and morale’s although through the story his loses his way with Lucia in the end it works out brilliantly. Lucia’s character was strong and resilient and even though she was rejected a couple of times by Angelo she knew he was the one for her and pursued until the end.

I thought the tragedy in the story was written brilliantly and with compassion for someone who has never been through such tragedy the emotion through the writing was gut wrenching and my heart just hurt with the emotion. The writing was engaging, and the story flowed easily, with me not want to stop until I had finished the story. Thank you for a wonderful book and can’t wait to read more in the future.

If you asked me to choose a favorite by this author it would be impossible. Each book I’ve read has had the characters steal pieces of my heart, Hank and Ella were no different. From start to finish I was completely hooked. They just pull you into their world so effortlessly and you find yourself never wanting to leave them. I promise you they will live rent free in your mind long after you finish the book. It’s well written and you can feel every emotion written into it’s pages. I’m a huge fan of this author and all the characters created. Five big stars and highly recommended!

Someone to Watch Over Me (Wounded Hearts Series Book 3) by Debbie Cromack – Review by Kiana Corley

Someone to Watch Over Me (Wounded Hearts, #3)Someone to Watch Over Me by Debbie Cromack
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was a good read with a unique storyline. Debbie did an amazing job at developing the characters and the locations for this story.

This book follows the story of Lucia and Angelo. Lucia and Angelo have been friends for their entire lives. With families that are so close, it is not a surprise that they would be best friends. Unfortunately for Lucia, she falls in love with the one guy she feels she can never have.

Angelo is determined to protect Lucia and keep her out of harm’s way. However, how can one do that when they are not around all the time like they were in the past? With life events cause them to drift apart a little bit. There is nothing Angelo would not do for his best friend.

What happens when Lucia shows up to ask the man she loves to help her since she is pregnant by the one person he told her to stay away from? Would things have been different if that one night Angelo’s answer to her question was different? What is going to happen with the baby daddy? What happens when you put two best friends in close quarters for a while?

Read this book to find out what happens with Lucia and Angelo. This story is a great read and was hard to put down. I suggest reading this book after the first two in the series.

Music is the words of the soul.
In saying that I love this series! And I think Breathless Love took the cake for me! My favorite book in this series. I had a feeling Hank’s story would be special. Since he’s different. Restless in his job in the family business Hank is destined for more. And with the help of Ella Mae, that destiny could become a reality. However you know how these books go. Nothing is ever cut and dry. There’s always some sort of drama. This time it’s family/fame. Ella Mae’s brother Travis is a wildcard.
Will he derail everything for Hank?
How will his behavior affect Ella?
The author puts forward a beautiful story about rising out of the shadows. Filled with wonderful character growth by not just Ella but Hank as well.
However I think this author is saving the absolute best story for last. The Bennett boys’ stories have been told, now all that’s left is Becky. And you know what? I can’t wait!
If you enjoy a book series that revolves around a big loving family, this series is perfect. You can read the books in succession or however you want. Just because they are a series, they work very well as standalone novels as well. Book 3 for now is my favorite, which ones yours?

I absolutely LOVE this series! This truly wonderful author always creates such relatable, heartfelt characters and interesting storylines that you are completely hooked right from the start and this book definitely delivered that and more. I was instantly captivated by sweet Hank and sassy Ella Mae and I loved reading about them, their lives and seeing their relationship develop and grow into something really special. I was suspicious of Travis and his true motives right from the start even while my heart broke for him but I wont say too much as I don’t want to give anything away. Someone to watch over me, is the third book in the Wounded Hearts Series by Debbie Cormack. This is the first book I have read in this series and it can be read as a standalone. This story focuses on best friends Angelo and Lucia, brough up together since they were little, Angelo is very protective of Lucia. She thinks it is because he sees her as a little sister, however that is very far from the truth. Angelo and Lucia are both in love with each other however neither seems ready to admit it to the other. After Angelo leaves college there is a period of absence which does not dampen their feelings, and when an unexpected event brings them back to gather it is fingers crossed that they can work it out. I liked this book, I wanted to knock their heads together a few times and wanted Lucia to be more selfish but this is testament to how well written it was. I will definitely be going back to read the other books in the series.

Someone to Watch Over Me (Wounded Hearts Series Book 3) by Debbie Cromack – Review by Dr. Anya Schultz

Someone to Watch Over Me (Wounded Hearts, #3)Someone to Watch Over Me by Debbie Cromack
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Someone to Watch Over Me is a friends-to-lovers romance. Angelo and Lucia’s moms have been best friends forever, so naturally growing up together the two were inseparable. However, secretly both are in love with each other but develop a million excuses to never share their feelings. The book starts while Angelo is a senior in college and about the graduate, but Lucia still has 2 more years. He is so used to being her protector that both are feeling uneasy about being apart. In conjunction with this, Lucia is a virgin and has been waiting for Angelo but decided to shoot her shot a little and is rejected. This rejection leads to a damper on their friendship. Basically, this tends to be the trend throughout the who book. This back and forth of wanting each other, not telling each other, and then oh yeah throw in the troubling pregnancy troupe. Can they get over themselves enough eventually and drop the excuses of timing to finally have their happily ever after?
This book, while a cute romance when things were good, drove me a little nuts. I loved the characters as people, but the thought process behind why they were not together, then together, then not together drove me insane. Maybe it is because I am in my 40s now, that I read these types of plots and just want to shake the main characters and say “Will you just be honest and say you love them – things would be so much easier”. Because of this thinking, I really wanted to smack the 2 of them so many times along the way of the book. However, I did enjoy the author’s writing style and Angelo as a character. Lucia was fine but you can hear how young she is in her actions, words, thinking, etc. While Angelo made me plenty mad with his unrealistic thinking, how he responds to Lucia made him loveable. He is a loving, protective, caring man that knows how to properly love a woman. Don’t get me wrong, it was a good read, I think I just don’t want young people to make these mistakes in life because all it is is a waste of precious time when you could just be happy!!

Breathless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #3)Breathless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Totally loved Breathless Love. This is based primarily in Tennessee when a farmer dreams of being a country star, and almost was until his band broke up. One night Hank decides to go to his country idol’s concert not knowing things would never be the same after meeting Ella Mae. Hank and Ella Mae quickly build a friendship and with her position in the music business things began to happen for him. However, he quickly realizes that the music isn’t the only magic that is sparking in his life – these friends quickly become more – lovers, confidants, and kindred souls. Ella Mae provides him with a realistic picture of what being a star looks like, but with fame comes so many other responsibilities. Is all of the love, music, and trauma worth the fame?
I loved this story so much. I don’t want to give too much away because it is just so heartbreakingly beautiful. First, the storyline – I loved the no-bullshit romance. The two were so honest and went for what they wanted. There was no back and forth, no telling each other their feelings and the drama that seems to come with romance books lately. Second, the characters were amazing. Hank, I can’t say enough about this man – he is what girls think of when they want a gentle, sexy cowboy. He is driven, honest, sweet, sexy, and straightforward in an unapologetic way, but in a gentlemanly way. Ella Mae, I also adored her. She is strong, passionate, straightforward, and independent, but a little broken. Her journey for herself is a great one. There will be other characters such as Ella Mae’s brother – it’s a love-hate relationship but so necessary for the plot. Last, but not least, it was face- paced. I was always interested and actually surprised I didn’t see the end coming till right before (it was nice just to be engaged in the book). Really recommend it for a great thought-provoking, encouraging life-love story. FYI read your trigger warnings.

So it’s off with the suit and on with leather jacket and I’m still weak at the knees 🤣🙈

Royce is a volcanist and very much like the volcanoes he studies he’s unpredictable and volatile but there’s a healing balm out there and she’ll see the man that is hiding behind the facade ….

Michelle is a traveller and blogger and emotionally detached due to the demons that haunt her ,that gnaw away at her self confidence and self worth , she needs a man stronger than her demons ….

We met Michelle and Royce briefly in “ The Mastermind “ and I was eager to see how their story unfolded and date I say it but this book was more enjoyable than the first and that says alot !

It was fun travelling through Michelle’s eyes and it makes you itch to travel . I just want to thank NadiaHan for broaching the subject of ED , so many folks think it’s a “ teen thing” , Michelle is fortunate to have Royce on her side and his support and the way he build her just makes me love him even more ….

Strange and unexplainable things happen in Royce’s business and it impact on both him and Michelle and he’s determined to protect Michelle at any cost , this man really is a keeper

There was murder , revenge , dark twists and turns and of course there was spice and all things nice to add a well rounded effect , love you guys 🥰

Remington Starke is a man with a vision and he’s dangerous on so many levels , he’s a delectable speciMAN and he has a past , a frightful one at that big that just adds to his “ Yumminess” I know I’m such a weakling just to cave to these alphas ❣️🤣🙈

Audri is bright , creative and consumed by guilt and she’s got it bad for the man that is jut only her boss but her brother’s best friend and his past can threaten the both of them ….

This was a first read for me from this author and it was good ! It had mystery , suspense , thrills , chills and spice ! It was intense at times and other times there was just good old fashioned fun between friends 😉looking forward to the rest of the series 👍

This is the third book in The Bennetts of Langston Falls series and is a Contemporary Romance/Friends to Lover’s Romance that I absolutely loved reading . I’m a huge fan of not only this author but this series is hands down one of the best I’ve read in a while. Each book is about a different member of the Bennett family. This can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading this series in order as each book is just as good as the last and you get to know the characters better plus you get to fall in love with Langston Falls. This is Hank and Ella Mae’s story and let me tell you my emotions were all over the place. This one definitely pulled at my heart strings. Hank dreams of being a Country music star and it hasn’t been easy for him but a chance of a lifetime comes his way and he finds himself tagging along with Country Music Royalty on his latest tour. Ella Mae is a Nashville royalty songwriter. These two have great chemistry between them. Will this tour bring them together? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

The story is forced proximity with a touch of surprise set in Hollywood. Catrina is an ambitious lawyer and Nate is a movie star who crosses paths in an unlikely scenario! Cat is determined to make a partner and nothing will stand in her way, not even being tall, English, and handsome. The writing is good and easy to follow along, however, it did move a little too fast in the flow for me. Overall, if you are looking for a day read this one is for you!

Hello the cover art is enough to make you combust 😉🔥

So I get why Riley has a jaded view on life and love after all she’s seen in her line of work as a PI and her mother leaving her and her dad when she was little shes on her latest case and as she’s about to leave armed with evidence she gets knocked out …..

In and out of consciousness and the smell of smoke lingering before Riley can actually panic her firefighter cones to get rescue , again ….

Tristan and Riley met by accident , literally , she was involved in an accident and he was on hand to help her

Tristan has a stage 5 clinger though and I think Shannon is a tad unstable and she just creeps me out and rightly so ! She does however add drama and suspense to the story

I just loved how Tristan watched over Riley the whole time and how protective he is , these 2 have some serious chemistry and left my kindle a little hot and bothered 😉

A quick hot read 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The characters in this book are great. They clearly have a strong connection from the start, but with so much to overcome you have to question if it will be enough. They v are v easy to engage with and I enjoyed getting to know them.
The overall story of this book was great. I wanted to see how everything would work out.  This book had left me excited to read the next book in the series.
