This is such great addition to this series and it was so nice to be drawn back into the world of this character. I have found it so easy to get lost in her story and she is really a wonderful character. This whole series has been heartwarming and this book just rounds that off.
The author has created something absolutely perfect for her intended audience and has also created something that will appeal to many. This book is thoroughly enjoyable and one I am glad I read.

Cat has got this baking happy thing down! She visited her family’s bakery and learned so much from her aunt and GG. Cooking for parties and family members has been great practice and she’s baking the world a better place one recipe at a time. Everything is going great until she has a surprise visit from someone she’s not fond of. Not only that, but her aunt JoJo has an announcement that no one saw coming! Wishes get thrown around and magic baking gets mixed up with some crazy effects. How can Cat bake happy now?! Life has turned upside down and she hasn’t a clue of how to fix it all. Bake Happy is the last funny young fantasy book to the Bake Believe series. It’s such a fun book and I can’t wait for my daughter to read it so we can talk about the series while we bake some of the recipes that are included in amazing book set!!

Cat and her family are on a family road trip to Arizona for a Thanksgiving week. While on the break they hope to find some answers about their family bakery and the way they can bake. Now that she knows what she can do, she NEEDS to know how this happened and why! Cat has to know EVERYTHING, which is a lot. While hunting for answers, Cat and her family gear up for a baking showdown with the other bakeries in the area. Cat, her best friend (and cousin) Robyn, and her sister investigate the competition in disguises and find out a lot about the different characters who bake in their town. They also find out really quick just how crazy things can get when they bake with magic without following the number one rule: Bake Happy. Bake Off is the second book in this fun unique high-jinx kids fantasy. I personally read this book, but I think my ten year old would love this book too. If is so funny and has recipes too!! I know my daughter and I will love trying some of these recipes and trying to make them low carb and low sugar.

This trilogy comes to an end with this book that focuses on Cat’s continued baking escapades. I’m going to miss this neat little series of books that features some really good recipes, as well as a great story!

Cat and Nate still have a love-hate relationship. More on the hate side. When they swap family curses, things become a little more interesting. I do like that Cat got a taste of what Nate felt. Not sure the curse had the same effect on Nate in regards to Cat. I think it gave Cat a better appreciation for Nate, although she continued to be pretty icy towards him.

This is a great book for pre-teens and teen girls and boys who enjoy baking. It would be a great book to read with a trusted adult that could help them bake some fun recipes! There is a hint that Robyn might get her own story and I do hope she will!

I really enjoyed reading the story of Cat and her journey from “making” frozen waffles and microwave dinners to learning how to bake. It is a sweet story of a middle school girl who’s finding her way in more ways than one, from navigating her crush on a cute new guy who just moved to town to learning more about her family history she is discovering what makes her happy. Cat’s unique journey has allowed her to learn her family history and discover more about why baking is just so important to her family. Bonus: there’s a recipe after every chapter 🙂

If you haven’t read Bake Believe and Bake Off, do yourself a favor and read those, then read this you won’t be disappointed! I’m so grateful to Cori for introducing the wonderful world of Cat Anderson and her family. This story tied together the mystery of their family’s blessing/curse and I can’t wait to share it with my daughter, who is a big fan of baking. I’m sad that this is the last book in the trilogy but it concluded in a way that leaves me satisfied in spite being sad to see it end. PS- I have definitely bookmarked several recipes I plan to try soon 😉

I have been a fan since book one. Watching Cat grow and learn about herself and her family has been a fun journey. Book three is bittersweet, but was such a fun end in an amazing series.
Cat and Nate are back at it when a mishap takes place and forces the enemies to join forces. Still quirky, sweet, and full of smiles we watch Cat in her element with the whole family close by. One of the funniest young adult books I have loved and read

Cat and Robyn are at it again! When a surprise brings Cat and her enemy Nate together, their worlds are turned upside down. There is no choice but for them to work together and try to fix the situation. Can they find a way to stand one another long enough to fix the biggest problem Cat has faced?

This was such a fun and feel good read! I am SO sad that this is the last of Cat’s story. I have fallen in love from day one, in Bake Believe. Cat is fun loving and adventurous. Like the other books in this trilogy, I love the point of view the author has created. Readers are inside of Cat’s mind while she is going on rambling tangents with her as she figures out her world. Cat’s brain works a lot like mine and I love that. Of course she could do nothing without her cousin and best friend Robyn, who compliments her perfectly while still being her partner in crime. One of my favorite parts is of course the recipes! Each chapter has a delicious recipe at the end that compliments the story. My daughters and I actually baked our way through this book and the recipes are DELICIOUS. It was such a fun way for us to connect as we read this story together.

Such a good ending to an enjoyable trilogy. Cat loves baking, but things change after a surprise dinner with family. Nate is family but Cat cannot stand him. After the dinner, Cat and Nate both have their lives changed. Cat wants things back to the way they were but in the end learns a valuable lesson.

What a wonderful end to this series! I have thoroughly enjoyed these books and really taken Cat and her family/friends into my heart. I really do love Cat, she has been such a great character to read about across all three books, she’s definitely made me laugh with her humour and her love of baking came across so well. She is truly wonderful at her job. I loved that the recipes continued in this book – such a quirky addition to the stories that I absolutely loved!
Ive really enjoyed this book and indeed this entire series and would wholeheartedly recommend it to other readers.

Bake Happy is a great and funny book filled with comedy and recipes. Cat is a fourteen year old girl who is sarcastic and loves to bake. Her family has this gift where they can bake something and make people feel certain emotions. One day, Cat loses the ability to bake her feelings and she gets upset. Eventually, she realizes that people don’t need to feel happy in order to make the world a better place. Helping others is more beneficial than getting them to feel certain emotions. As a fellow baker, I love that the author included recipes for the baked goods at the end of every chapter. Bake happy is great for someone who loves comedy movies and baking.

~ A Third Dose of Family Fun~

I will definitely be re-reading this trilogy from the first book through the third. I picked it because I was needing a little bit of a pick me up in life. This was just so much fun, there was laughter, smiles, and “good feel” emotions that just can’t be simulated on your own. Despite not knowing the backstory of the characters, I still found this to be a charming read.

Cat is obviously a baker, and her confidence inspires me to really enjoy my own hobby as well. It also makes me wonder what I can do to make my world a better place. I think this will be a good re-read for the holidays, as there is a lot of family and tight-knitted “ness” between the characters.

Bake Happy is the third and final book in the Bake Believe trilogy by Cori Cooper. This was both a fun and bittersweet read, as I knew it was the final book in the series and I wasn’t ready to say goodbye yet.
This follows on from the previous books, so I suggest reading the first two instalments before beginning on this one.
As I have said before, I love how original and fun this series is. Ms. Cooper has crafted such a clever and imaginative teen/YA fantasy story- with magic, family, humour, recipes, a sprinkle of drama, teen life, adventure, emotion, heart and soul. Oh, and recipes, did I mention yummy recipes?
I have loved Cat (and company) right from the moment I met her back in book one. I love how wonderfully quirky and endearing the character/s are- they really brought the story to life and things definitely wouldn’t have been the same without them.
Our adventures all started in Book One when we met Cat Anderson for the first time and saw how her life was turned upside down after she discovered baking, and found out exactly what her baking could do. It took her a while to get a handle on her baking ‘skills’ which may have caused a little chaos in the process. But now things are going smoothly and she has everything under control…. or does she? Stay tuned for a surprise or two, because things are about to get quite interesting.
I’m really hoping that we may get to revisit Cat again in the future. In the mean time I’m looking forward to seeing what Ms. Cooper does next!
Happy reading!

Thank you, Cori Cooper!

Bake Happy is the final book in this YA romantic fantasy trilogy. Make sure you go back and start with the first book Bake Believe.

I love stories that are a little different and this trilogy is definitely original and imaginative. It is fun and entertaining and has humour that will have you laughing. This quirky tale will have your taste buds salivating with the magical recipes included. It is interesting and unique and gives us the usual raging teen angst and grumpiness. The story is humorous and engaging as we adventure along with Cat and her magic. It’s hard to say goodbye.

Cori has hit the spot that YAs are going to enjoy reading about Cat and her family.

Cat finds herself in a dire predicament. Her favorite aunt is marrying into the enemy’s family. Cat and her nemesis, Nate Walker, are being thrown together at family dinners as the happy couple, her aunt and his uncle, announce and celebrate their engagement. After a particular loud argument between Cat and Nate, experience some freaky consequences.

This author makes me laugh and smile. I absolutely love the way the author/characters blend baking/ cooking/ food into their expressions! This series has been a delight to read!

Maybe Penny could be next!! It would be a shame to have to say goodbye to these wonderful characters. I have enjoyed this series completely.

This book is book three in a series. I did not read the first two books and was able to still enjoy this little story. It is a YA book filled with recipes, relationship drama, and how to deal with teenage troubles.
Cat has a passion for baking, a passion she inherited from her grandma. She has realized that the things she bakes are impacted by the feelings she has while preparing them. In comes Nate – joining a family dinner celebration, he and Cat get into it. When this happens – they experience something that comes right out of the movie Freaky Friday! If you have seen that movie, you know what I mean! When Cat and Nate flip abilities, Cat finds she can’t bake her feelings and Nate goes wild and crazy with his new ability. It is up to Cat and Robyn to find a way to get him to use his powers for good.
This book is a book for young adult/teen readers. It has all the feel good loaded inside of it!

This is the third book in the Bake Believe series. If you haven’t read the first two, go do that now. It was a great ending to the series. I really enjoyed all three books. It was very cool to have recipes so we can actually bake these things too. I believe this would really draw in the teenage group, especially those who like to bake and like magic. I think the morals being visited are easy to understand. Definitely recommend this story.

This is book three in the trilogy about Cat Anderson and her magical baking. It was nice being back with Cat, as she is a very likeable and relatable main character. Cat has to navigate being a teenager alongside her magical baking abilities. Having been to her family’s bakery and learnt all about her magic baking, Cat is happier and more confident. In fact she’s making the world a better place through her baking, and is using her abilities at class parties and at family meal times. Just when everything seems perfect a surprise visit and a big announcement turn Cat’s world upside down, leaving her wondering how she can continue to ‘bake happy’. This is a fun and lighthearted read with a quirky and unique storyline, which had me happily turning the pages once again. I felt engaged with the characters and immersed in the story due to the descriptive narrative. An enjoyable read for both YA and adults alike.

This is a great junior level book for girls (or really anyone) who likes baking, and doesn’t mind a little relationship drama thrown in for good measure. Sometimes those relationships are family issues, and sometimes they are friends, but always they make for drama. One bonus with this book and the other two in the series is you get several recipes to go along with the story. Who couldn’t use that?
Cat and her family and friends are back for one last baking adventure. When Cat and Nate accidentally swap family curses, Cat is no longer able to bake her feelings, but Nate is…and boy is he misusing his abilities. Cat and Robyn try to stop him from doing bad things with a good gift. Meanwhile, Cat can’t seem to get boys to leave her alone. Between presents, over the top presentations, phone calls and texts, hundreds of boys are bothering her constantly. Cat and Nate are forced to live out the “walk a mile in someone else’s shoes” idiom. The question is, will they be able to fix it?

This is another amazing book in one of my favorite book series ever. I think the author was able to end the series in the right way, although I personally will miss these books. And their recipes. In fact, I would not recommend reading this without eating beforehand. Otherwise, you will find yourself hunting in your cabinets for ingredients to make these wonderful goods. Or perhaps that was just me. I love how the chapter title is the recipe is that you get at the end of the chapter. Such a cute and clever way to include that. I love how the author once again was able to make me laugh at all the things these teens did. Not to mention tug at my heartstrings with the morals being taught. There were a couple of times I had tears welling in my eyes at the thought of having to decide if the ability of magic was a gift or a curse. Especially when it involves your family and isn’t something that only one individual has. An amazing end to what has become a book I look forward to reading. I hope that perhaps she will revisit the series later.
