Sage Advice by Cori Cooper – Review by Jenni Bishop

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sage Advice is a clean romance story about a young woman who needs to work on some issues that have haunted her and has stopped her from moving forward. It is a story of a young woman who slowly discovers herself with the help of family and friends.
Being a YA romance story, it has sensitive and emotional girls and “I am man hear me roar” boys all just trying to cope with growing up and the pressures of high school and life from that age. It is filled with the usual traits with angst, drama, pain, self-doubt, peer pressure, bullies and best of all first love. Thank God I am not that age anymore.
Pyper is a giving person but listening to and taking that advice on board herself is another thing. We journey along with her as she puts on a front but internally struggles. It was good to watch her grow and come into herself.
This fun tale will have you laughing out loud at times and wanting to wrap your arms around them at others.
YAs are going to love this tale.
