Planting Hope by Jennifer Raines – Review by Jenni Bishop
Planting Hope by Jennifer Raines
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Jennifer Raines is an Australian who writes lovely contemporary romances. It’s great to see an Aussie Author hitting the market and bringing wonderful and unique stories to life. The original storylines are refreshing.
Planting Hope is a bit of an emotional journey as our well-developed, yet characters go through so much. The characters are complex and.
Jennifer once again has cleverly woven the story together with complex layers that leaves you with an intriguing and compelling tale. There is a bit of everything with fear, angst, passion and compassion, love and loyalty and some humour and more to keep you glued to the pages.
Holly is still haunted from a tragedy she witnessed firsthand and needs to find new roots. Nature, helping kids heal and a passionate man are just the things that may help her.
Kit is a passionate but wary man and isn’t sure what to think of the free spirit that is now an inclusive part of his project. Now he just has to prove them all wrong when things take a turn. Will he come to terms with himself and be there for those who need his help?
I look forward to more from Jennifer.
