This is one couple that you will root for to overcome tragedy to find love and triumph together. One has lost her grandmother only to find out she is now a millionaire. She will be staying to continue running the farm (with lots of life challenges ahead). The other is a returned vet with PTSD just looking for a calm job. He finds that working on the farm brings him peace. Together they work to overcome trials and find they are falling for each other. Can they get through the challenges? Will the voodoo get them (a gift from granny? along with her love of pink?) I laughed so hard at times through this book. Grandma Sophie reminded me of my grandma and her hijinks. Love the plot of the book. It was totally realistic. I look forward to reading more in this series.
