Sons of Sindicato (Sons of Sindicato #0)Sons of Sindicato by Cam Johns
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book that I have read from either of the authors…but it definitely won’t be the last!

This book focuses on Braelynn and Seth. Braelynn, also known as Shaw, has just been named partner in the law firm she works at. She is a criminal attorney and the mafia men call when they need help. However, her life is about to change when an encounter with another partner sets her on a path she never saw coming. The man she calls to help her is also the man she is having a secret relationship with.

Seth is the son of the head of the Sindicato. After meeting Shaw as she was getting him off of murder charges, he now finds himself sneaking away to spend weekends with her because his family will not approve of their relationship. However, when the unthinkable happens, Seth and his family are there to help Shaw. This leads to their relationship coming out in the open and having to confront his father about it. Can he make his dad see that his heart doesn’t abide by traditions? And what happens when evidence comes to light that can change the dynamics of the Sindicato?

I really enjoyed reading Shaw and Seth’s story. There was love and murder….drama and justice…and some humor thrown in. I am looking forward to reading Dane’s story in the future.

Sons of Sindicato is a short novella that tells the story of Braelynn Shaw, a quickly rising star attorney. Secretly dating a Mafia son, Seth, Braelynn represents his family in all matters criminal. But when Braelynn defends herself against a vicious attack, their secret affair comes to light, bringing with it mafia trouble and the scorn of Seth’s family. Sons of Sindicato was a fast paced novel told from both Seth and Braelynn’s point of view. The story was well written and character development was great. I will be reading the rest of the novels in the series!

Holy Cow what a wild intense ride! Luce Eterna : Part 1 is the fifth book in The Luminara Series by SJ Molloy. This is a wonderfully written story that will have you turning the pages all while on the edge of your seat grasping the Kindle. This literally took my breath away in a few spots and had me tearing up. So have a kleenex close by as you might need them. Lucca and Lexi are back once again to take us on a wild ride. This is the ultimate love story the most tragic love story. Can these two make it through together? I’m not going to give anything away. This is a absolute must read. I highly recommend reading this series in order as it will give you a better understanding of what has been going on. This is my favorite series I will definitely be re-reading several times. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

This was a totally new perspective of Lucca. Seeing the story from his view allowed us to see why he is so fragile and insecure at times. He has experienced loss and trauma. Hey, the man is rich and isn’t really sure who he can trust. Very few seem to get into the inner circle. The story has a rare masculine romance feel to it. Lucca describes his feeling for Lexi as “grab your breath.” SJ carries you right on into getting ready for book 4. The plot was well developed. It was pretty easy to follow along and now right where Lucca was. The characters still felt realistic. My favorite part was when Dominic laid one on Lucca. On to book 4…

This is the first book I have read from these two authors. I love a good mafia romance but they exceeded all my expectations. These two authors did an amazing job with their writing. I could not tell that there were two authors to this book. This is the first book of the sons of Sindicato series and wow what a perfect way to start a series. I could not put this book down until the end. It only took me a few hours to devour this addictive book.

Braelyn Shaw loves being an attorney. She loves when the guilty get justice. Braelyn’s life changes when her boss goes too far one night after work. She now have to cover a murder with her secret boyfriend. Braelyn is falling for a mob boss’s son. She knows it’s not right but she can’t help it. Braelyn knows the murder was self defense but it went too far. She knows that Seth’s dad will not like her due to the color of her skin but she doesn’t care. Braelyn and Seth are in this together but what happens when the enemy comes after them?

This is a great novella to start this mafia romance series, I am so excited to read the rest. This is about a powerful family and they’re attorney Braelynne Shaw. Seth Girodano fell madly in love with her when she represented him in a case, but they have to keep their relationship secret as no one will be happy with their choice. You see if she can still make partner whilst keeping the love of her life but it seems like his family are not the only problem they run into.

Luce Eterna: Part 1: Book 5, The Luminara Series by SJ Molloy is dark and erotic but is quite the emotional rollercoaster ride. Heart officially broken! Sobbing is a given so stock up on those tissues. SJ once again puts these characters through dark, raw and tumultuous times that would break even the strongest of people. With even more twists and secrets, angst, and turmoil I was engrossed and enthralled. SJ’s writing style turns her stories into page turners and become addictive.

I was so excited to get the final book in this love story. We have gone through so much with these two so many twists and turns and drama and this book brings so much more. I will warn that you better have some kleenex handy, my emotions were all over the place.

Lexi and Luca face so many difficult things as parents, things that will test their strength, love and courage. I will admit that Lexi had me frustrated on so many levels, I felt bad for Luca quite a bit. I really don’t want to say much more because I don’t want to give anything away. Be prepared for another cliffhanger that will leave you wanting the next book now. I have come to really enjoy this author’s books, she does a great job with her writing. Sons of Sindicato (Sons of Sindicato #0)Sons of Sindicato by Cam Johns
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sons of Sindicato is an edgy romance novel written by the collaborative efforts of Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus. Braelynn has just obtained her approval of being a partner in a notorious law firm. Despite all of her diligent work, Thomas Wexler seems to not be happy making her a partner. Determined to amend any hard feelings between them, Braelynn stays late and enters his office. Wexler is working on something and seems agitated at her interruption of his privacy. Tension is building and Wexler locks the office door; this isn’t the first time Braelynn has been at the mercy of her boss; only this time she has a secret that will be her saving grace.
Attorneys and clients should never be involved in anything beyond a business relationship. This suspense story involves the Giordano family and a young black female attorney needing to have a common goal. Braelynn is involved in a serious relationship with Seth, and their relationship has been a secret. After waiting on Braelynn, Seth enters the building and finds Wexler dead and his girlfriend’s clothing shredded from an attack. Immediately, his criminal mind turns on and Braelynn is thrown into the world of the Sindicato organization. Will she be able to keep her job as an attorney? Will the mob accept her as a family, or will she be left alone?
The writing is intense in this short book, and I am eagerly looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I am an avid fan of suspense crime novels and Sons of Sindicatio delivers everything I look for in a 5-star book. The action, raw emotion, and uncertainty of what path each character will take held my attention all the way to the ending. The end is perfect for a seamless transition into a sequel.

Luce Eterna: Part 1 is very different from the lust and sex-filled earlier books of The Luminara Series. Life has left Lucca and Lexi’s life together in upheaval. Lexi was abducted a second time while being very pregnant with their twins. Though the first few days were watching and waiting to make sure the twins’ lungs were able to function, being a Mamma is something that Lexi was made for. She is fiercely protective of their daughter, Alessia, and their son, Luciano.

Waiting for the day when Luciano would be able to come home has been gruelly for both Lucca and Lexi. Then the unspeakable happens, and they have another abduction to worry about. Lucca and Lexi have to pull together to fight a battle once again. Will the strain bring them together or force them apart? And what part will secrets held play a part in their future?

Wow… What to say for sure is hard for me with this review. SJ Molloy is new to me as an author. I was slightly warned this was a dark read with all the dark and twisted things that normally don’t bother me but actually tend to draw me into reads. You see, I like to escape and find things that pull me out of the darkness that can be my own life sometimes. I want it to hurt more than my own. Well Ms. Molloy, you have surely outdone yourself with this novel and this series. I like it. I don’t know what that says about me but I really, really like it and I want more. I am invested in these characters and I will be going back for more to see where they began and how we ended up here. I do slightly wish I had done so before diving in here but that was my own mistake. I won’t divulge what happens in this book. That would be a travesty at best but I will say if you want dark romance, erotica written with taste and done in a way you want to enjoy and feel as if you slipped away for a bit, this is the book for you, maybe even the series. I will say don’t pick it up if you are sensitive and have easy triggers. Just don’t.

Cam Johns really knows how to bring mayhem, murder, and mafia into a great story. I absolutely loved this book. Braelynn is a strong female character that really empowered me and Johns made you fall in love with all of the characters no matter how good or bad they were.

Braeylynn gets caught up in a predicament but is it truly self defense or is this something she has been wanting to do. She ends up turning over secrets that help her mafia boyfriends father gain power within the family. She struggles with the acceptance because she is not of Italian heritage.

I don’t know what you are waiting for! Go and grab this book!!

Braelynn Shaw, just made partner in her law firm. A law firm that defends the worst of the worst criminals. I loved this story of intrigue and romance. Not only does the lawyer fall in love with one of her clients, but she isn’t Irish, a requirement of his father. Can they overcome the hurdles put in their way? Will a common enemy help them to follow their hearts? I couldn’t put this book down and read it in one sitting. I fell in love with the characters and was rooting them on the whole way.
Definitely getting the next book to read.

Sons of Sindicato is the prequel in the Sons of Sindicato series by Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus. It was a very quick read, but boy did it pack a punch. I was hooked from page one!

Braelynn is a criminal defense attorney at a high profile law firm that works with known members of the mafia. But Braelynn has a couple of secrets that could destroy everything.

Seth is one of the sons of the Sindicato. He is implusive and hot headed and his dad, the leader of the Sindicato doesn’t approve.

This prequel is full of secrets, love, and strategy. And leads beautifully right into the first full novel of the series!

I’m continuing to get pulled into this great thrilling series. There was so much going on my head was spinning. I will warn this book is not to be read as a stand alone.

There is danger lurking around the corner for Lexi and Lucca is determined to keep her safe. They travel to Tuscany to get away. We continue to get a glimpse at memories that Lexi has which helps explain the darkness and her fears. Will Lucca be able to keep Lexi and her mother safe?

The author does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing. I continue to love the characters and Lucca is such a great loving man that I can’t help but grow more and more in love with him myself. His past does come back to haunt him in this book as well. My emotions were all over the place. Watching these two grow as a couple just makes your heart swell. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Lucca is trying to keep Lexi safe. He is doing everything in his power to do so. You can FEEL his love and his desperation to keep his love safe. Michael starts to taunt her, getting close and terrifying her. They return to Tuscany living closely with friends and family under security. The fear traps them mentally, the security traps them physically and they start to break. Lucca tries so very hard to be everywhere and everything Lexi needs. A baby! The love can only grow but the need to protect overwhelms. This continuation of Lucca and Lexi’s story is full of love, obsession, desperation, and sacrifice. There is nothing they won’t do to protect their love. Their light. I can’t wait for the next book!

Luminoso: The Luminara Series, Book 4 by SJ Molloy – Review by Roxsanne Lesieur.

Luminoso (Luminara, #4)Luminoso by S.J. Molloy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is only for those over the age of 18 due to it’s graphic nature, adult content and triggering themes.

This is the continuation of Lexi and Lucca’s story, and that her past tormentor has been released from jail in Australia and is determined to make Lexi pay for what she did in their shared past and he is finding the most innovative and underhanded ways in which to do this. He is praying on her family and friends, as well as finding out all he can about Lucca at the same time, he has done his research and done it well, however, when Lucca finds out about it, his only concern is Lexi and her safety, however, while they are on a trip to see her family, it all comes out and Lexi is told that he has been seen nearby, it is almost more than she can bear as it all comes rushing back to her.

On their fated trip, Lexi is feeling extremely unwell, but just blames it all on a stomach bug, but when she finally gets to her grandparents house and she settles into the visit, Lucca is still looking after her while getting to know the rest of her family, but when she is still ill a few days later, her mum suspects it isn’t a bug and insists that Lexi takes a pregnancy test, in the end she takes triple that and when the realisation hits that she is indeed pregnant with Lucca’s child, this puts even more pressure on the couple than before. One evening as they are spending time together, it is reported that Micheal has been seen near the house they are staying in and that despite all the security which is in place, they are not safe there, so Lucca makes the drastic decision to take himself, Lexi and her mum Grace back to Tuscany immediately, so the hurriedly pack a bag, say their goodbyes and hurtle to the private airstrip as fast as humanly possible. While on the plane, Grace takes her medication, Lucca drowns his worries and anxieties in whiskey while Lexi panics that it is going to be Tuscany all over again, so as she tries to talk to him and get him to open up, the only way he can is by her giving him over the control so that he can work out his frustration without resorting to drink. Lucca hates himself afterwards, however, he does finally open up and talk to Lexi about the situation.

When they get to the farmhouse, all they want to do is sleep, however, Lexi’s nightmares continue and her mother starts having episodes of her own brought on by the traumatic events of the night before, but Lucca is there to pick up the pieces as best he can and support both of the ladies in his life, while also running his business at the same time. As the stresses all pile up and the media get a whiff of the story, scandals are broken and the family’s haunted past is dredged up and brought back into the spotlight, this is too much for Lexi to cope with and she struggles with the stress and anxiety, but when Lucca starts to become distant and closed off, Lexi is even more worried about him. Neither of them want to hurt the other and by continuing the cycle of non-communication this is only doing them more harm, but when a new threat is unleashed and trusts are betrayed, Lexi and Lucca begin to wonder who is really on their side and it brings out the determined and strong willed woman in Lexi while pushing Lucca to breaking point while trying to protect her and their unborn baby.

Will they have any peace while Lexi copes with a difficult pregnancy, while having the eyes on the world focussed on her and Lucca, or will Lucca’s need to protect his family break the fragile bonds holding them together? Will they be able to fight the incoming storm together, or will it break them apart on the rocks of their pasts? This is another compelling installment in a darkly romantic series where love, lust, light and strength will all be tested as past and present combine to create a turn of events which will change perceptions and realities completely.

This details the next chapter of Lucca and Lexi’s lives as they embark on the journey of parenthood whilst still dealing with their issues from the past. I did enjoy finding out what was next in their story and how they respond and adapt to the new challenges in their lives and how their relationships with each other and their families cope under these new pressures. My only criticisms of this series is that it’s very heavy emotional subjects and at times I would have to have a break and refocus myself. I also found the many deep and meaningful declarations of love quite repetitive at one point and they aren’t always needed for the story or the character development.

Luce Eterna: Part 1: Book 5, The Luminara Series by S.J. Molloy is the next instalment of this fantastic series. This is a series that really needs to be read in order as it follows the same characters all the way through and is a continuation of their story.
This book is every bit as dark and intense as the other books but I think I found this on to be the most emotional. It felt like such a tumultuous rollercoaster and I never felt like I knew where the author was going to take us.

Luminoso (Luminara, #4)Luminoso by S.J. Molloy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Luminoso is the 4th book in the amazing Luminara Series by SJ Molloy. I have absolutely adored this series so far and Luminoso was my favourite of the series up to now. This book is not to be read as a standalone, the series must be read in order. This book, as with the others in the series comes with a trigger warning as it contains dark and highly emotive material.
As I said, this has been my favourite in the series so far. Most of this book takes place in Tuscany and I just love reading about all the family times that Lucca and Lexi have there. Gamily is such an important theme running through this series and we see much more of it in this book as everyone has to stick together against the threat of Michael Parks.
As well as the happy family times, there are also many dark times as Lexi and her mother struggle with their mental health and we also see cracks appearing in Lucca as he struggles to keep everyone safe. He takes everyone’s worries on as well as his own and it’s beginning to affect him.
The finale to this book is amazing and I felt that I forgot to breathe at times. It just has everything. The drama is outstanding and will have you on the edge of your seat.
I cannot recommend this book and this series enough. I have absolutely loved every book so far and I’m so glad that I have the 5th book Luce Eterna Part One on my kindle as I really need to know what’s in store next for Lucca, Lexi and the family.

Luminoso (Book 4 of the Luminara Series) by SJ Molloy was a great read! This book could be VERY triggering for some however, so be cautious when reading not only this book but the whole series. Once you get past all the triggers and pages of sex, the storyline is incredible. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series however due to some events that transpired in this book, I may not continue this series. But again, besides all the triggering content this series has been really good and I have for the most part really enjoyed reading. Sons of Sindicato by Sonya Jesus and Cam Johns is what I would consider a dark romance.

Seth and Braelynn are doomed from the start. An attorney and a crime lord just aren’t meant to be, right? With the law coming at her, and the mafia less than happy about the relationship, what can Braelynn do? Is she safe anywhere?

Suspense, mystery and love can all be found in this novella. I can’t wait to read more!

Luce Eterna: Part 1: Book 5, The Luminara Series by SJ Molloy. Wow ok so I’m not even sure where to begin this review like I’m at a complete loss. What words can possibly do this story justice? Amazing? Incredible? Freaking out of this world good? All those will have to do. Lexi and Lucca have a huge chunk of my heart and I’ll be honest I don’t think I want it back. These two have taken readers on quite a journey and it’s been down right emotional. But I love every minute of it. Even though I’ll be honest this book just about broke me but I’m still anxiously awaiting the final installment. You definitely need to read this series in order and it’s not for everyone as it does have some difficult situations but I want to praise the authors efforts on handling those situations well and giving us characters we love and love to hate sometimes. I’m so excited for the next one but also sad as it’s the end I believe but I’ll be reading this series over and over. Five of the biggest stars I can find.

Luminoso: The Luminara Series, Book 4 by SJ Molloy. I simply cannot get enough of Lexi and Lucca. These two pull me in and I love getting lost in their story. Book four was just as amazing as the rest of the series. Yes this book may have triggers for some but I think the author handles them well. The situations in this book and series can be extremely difficult to see but I love how the author created our main character Lexi. She’s just so strong even even she feels at her weakest. And Lucca had me swooning just as much in this part of their journey. I love spending time with these two and all their amazing family and friends. So excited for more! Five stars all the way and highly recommended!
