Wow! I still haven’t recovered from the book hangover from reading Avenging Devil Part One by Manda Mellett. I knew the book had a cliffhanger before I read it but I just wasn’t prepared for how emotional this book would make me feel and how much I wanted to throw my kindle away when I reached the end and realised that there wasn’t any more…for now! I have been a huge fan of Manda Mellett for a couple of years now and absolutely adore the Satan’s Devil MC books. I swear that they get better and better each book I read. I don’t know how she has the imagination to continually bring new fresh stories about this wonderful group of men and the women who ensnare them. She’s not afraid to tackle difficult issues and this book tackles the heartbreaking topic of pregnancy troubles (I wont say any more then that). In this book we get the start of Niran and Saffie’s amazing story and we get an update on Grumbler and Mary from the last book. Saffie’s story is dark and heartbreaking. You are dragged through every emotion possible reading about her life previous to meeting Niran. I was totally hooked on this story and did not want to put it down. Why do we have to work to earn a living? It totally gets in the way of reading time and I did not want to take any breaks from this book. It’s definitely what’s described as a page turner. If you really hate a cliffhanger so much then wait a few weeks for part 2 to come out but please read this book. You will not be disappointed.

OMG what I just read is amazing. Manda Mellett has done it again with Avenging Devil Part 1. I couldn’t put it down after starting it. I was hooked from the beginning of this series and this novel just makes it even more. Manda Mellett is a fantastic author and storyteller. Warning there is a mega huge cliffhanger at the end of this novel. I can’t wait for part 2 to come out so I can see what happens to Saffie and Niran. Avenging Devil is the third novel in this series and I think the best one yet. Manda Mellett keeps things consistent with characters and they make reappearing roles in the novels.

I loved this book. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. Her writing skills and attention to details just give life to her stories. They are written with a lot of heart and not only hot, steamy MC but some action as well. This book is no different. The characters bring the story to life and are connectable. They pulled me in from the beginning. This is an engaging, fast paced story that kept me turning pages to the end. This is a story where the past comes crashing into the present and could get a little dangerous. This is a dark story that could have some triggers for some but if you are able to get past that, this is an awesome story that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book and this author

Unable to make it himself, Grumbler had made a simple request that I accompany his old lady to her prenatal appointment.
If I hadn’t, I would never have come across her, a woman broken in only ways a woman could break. Someone who desperately needed a friend in her corner.
Why did that have to be me? Believe me, I’d asked that of myself, but I couldn’t just walk away.
I had to use a truck when I visited her, which meant I wasn’t wearing a cut. She didn’t know I was a biker.
Perhaps it would have been better had she never found out.
Saffie
I’m a woman on the run from my past, a past so horrific I’m surprised I survived. I thought I’d known the worst that life could throw at me, but I was sadly very wrong.
When Niran came across me, I was breaking apart, and nothing could put me back together. Nothing, perhaps, then this man who seemed determined to try.
Until I found out he represented all my nightmares rolled into one.
The past, which I thought I’d left behind, is closing in on me. And to fight it, I need Niran by my side.
Note: This book is ends on a cliffhanger, Part 2 can be pre-ordered now. It’s also dark and is not for the faint-hearted or those easily triggered.
Manda’s life’s always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?
There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.
Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.
Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.

I absolutely loved this novella! Sons of Sindicato by Sonya Jesus & Cam Johns is a captivating suspense filled novella to start off the Sons of Sindicato series and I couldn’t help but fall in love with Braelynn and Seth!
Braelynn is a successful criminal defense attorney who put everything she has into her career. And it could all be lost in a blink of an eye. Not only is she having a secret affair with a client but she just committed murder. Surely that would get you disbarred.
Seth is the son of the leader of the Sindicato. He finds himself needing a good attorney to help get him out of the trouble he was in and man did she do her job! But from the beginning, Braelynn had his attention and he’s not sure that’s a great idea considering how his family fells about it. But he’s willing to do anything for her. He would even help cover up a murder. Will he go as far as walking away from his family?
This was an amazing story. Yes, I do wish it would have really gone into their story more but wow did it pack a punch! I will be adding Sonya & Cam as my list of “must-read” authors!

So until that happens, and knowing that, I need to work to make my family, and myself whole again. I think novellas should be illegal. I was on the high from Brink of Denial and expected the same lengthy and delectable story. Delectable it was, lengthy it was not. Sonya and Cam- I was disappointed concerning the length of Seth and Shaw’s story. I wanted a detailed experience of their relationship/connection as opposed to getting an overview. Short, spicy, steamy, and savoury are the themes for this novella. Do not make the mistake I did by reading Brink of Denial first. Sons of Sindicato did a wonderful job of piquing the reader’s interest and introducing them to the world of Sindicato. It gave me a taste of the exciting, fast-moving, and creative writing of the dynamic duo, Sonya, and Cam. Kudos to the heroine, Shaw, for holding her own is not one but two distinct situations. A woman with a backbone will always be appreciated in my book. #GirlPower

This book was passionate, thrilling and had me on the edge of my seat. Braelynn Shaw is an ambitious, lawyer who works hard and plays harder! She is the very definition of Bold and Beautiful! When Seth was introduced, I knew right then this novella was going to be exciting. Seth can only be described as a hot headed, stubborn, and full of passion. I loved watching these characters protect each other with everything in them and go to the mat time and time again for their relationship, despite the challenges they are facing. This is a great start to a Mafia Romance Series; I can only guess how good the next books will be! Sons of Sindicato by Cam Johns & Sonya Jesus

Read this before getting into Brink of Denial! Such a fantastic kick off into the characters you will inevitably want more of. The novella is one you can get through in one sitting but give yourself time because you will want to immediately start the next book in the series.

Fun quick read. Very quick plot with serious plot lines and some smut. A great palette cleanser between books. I like this book cause it’s like nothing I have read before and more contemporary, would def suggest.

What an awesome way to start a series! Sons of Sindicato is the first book in the series by Sonja Jesus and Cam Johns. This book is only 108 pages but it truly is amazing! Braelynn Shaw is a criminal attorney that has just been promoted. Seth Giordano is a mafia crime lord. She’s in love with him. His family isn’t very fond of her. That is until they face the same enemy. This book is one of those edge of your seat books that you definitely cannot put down once you start reading. I was enthralled from the moment that I started this book until the time that I finished it. It was really great storyline and had really awesome characters. I honestly cannot wait for the next book to come out! This is a book you definitely do not want to miss!

Shaw is an amazing kick-ass defense lawyer who has gone through some shady things in her past One of those is back to haunt her as she makes partner. Will she be able to keep her law career or will this affect it? Mmmm, hot son of Sindicato mob boss, Seth, has it bad for Shaw. They have been dating in secret. Where will this lead? An intriguing tale of good vs. evil with some hot romance mixed in.

Braelynn Shaw is a criminal defense lawyer for Braxton and Wexler, one of the most prominent law firms in New Jersey. Her most prominent client now is the leader of the Sindicato. Her most recent case was to help get the youngest son free of an attempted manslaughter charge.
Seth Giordano is the youngest son of David Giordano. He’s hot-tempered and fully in love with his lawyer. He would do anything to make sure nothing bad happens to her. They’ve even kept their relationship a secret from his family because his father believes that he should marry an Italian woman.
The Sons of Sindicato is full of all the twists and turns you would expect (and not expect) when a lawyer becomes involved with a member of the mob family.

Sons of Sindicato is the first book in the Sons of Sindicato series by Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus. If this book is anything to go by then this is going to be an amazing series. I had not read any previous work by these two authors so was unsure what to expect from Sons of Sindicato. This isn’t a full length novel, it’s a novella that introduces you to the players in the series and gives you the story of Seth and Shaw. I loved Seth and Shaw’s story. I was hooked from the very first chapter and was drawn further and further into the story as it progressed. It’s action packed from the very start and keeps you entertained and on edge throughout. If you like to read about feuding Mafia families then this is the book for you. It’s a trope that I really enjoy reading and I’m so glad that I chose to read this book. It really does set you up for what could be a very explosive series. I really can’t wait to read more from this series.

This book is only for those over 18 due to the adult nature of the content and themes which some may find triggering.
Lexi and Lucca are back in another installment of the Luminara series and it is still them against the world, but this time, they have the twins to think of, after their mothers abduction and brutal beating which started the premature labour, four weeks later and they are improving, although both Lexi and Lucca are exhausted they are still a team and still looking after their two miracle babies. This little girl is finally out of the hospital and allowed home, however, their little boy is still in the SCBU unit, although that is a huge downgrade in levels from the incubariot he has been in since birth. They have been able to have family and friends to visit, as well as trying to look after each other, but between Lucca being hands on with most things, Lexi is still trying to get into a routine with breastfeeding, expressing and all the other things that babies need, especially when premature.
As they are allowed to take their little girl out of the hospital, they decide to stay in a hotel across the way so that they can be close to their little boy. They regularly go to see him and are overjoyed with their little miracle bundles. However, they are still reeling from the events and the consequences associated with them, the fact they still need the security detail, the fact that two pasts combined to create a horrific present, the loss of close friends and the seemingly endless media scrutiny surrounding it all. However much they are trying, Lexi is in denial and Lucca is struggling to keep his head above water as well, but they have support all around them and this is something that they will come to rely on sooner rather than later.
On the day that their little boy has his final xray before getting the all clear to come home, they are preparing the baby bag, stroller and necessities while planning the tasks for the day ahead depending on whether the results are positive or negative, while all the time praying that they can take him home, so they check the post and find that an old acquaintance has sent them something which is undesirable, but they brush it off as purely being bitchy. However, when they get to the unit there have been some unplanned and unforeseen changes in staffing and when they ask who is with their child, they find out that it isn’t his normal nurse, but it is another two whom they have known and trust, so Lexi is encouraged by Lucca to take a nap while they are waiting for his return and she is happily asleep in her carrier. Lexi is suddenly awoken in a panic by the sound of Lucca’s voice shouting, her daughter missing out of her carrier and realises that she is leaking all over her shirt, wondering what is happening, she approaches the voices, however, she is horrified to find that the nurses who were meant to be with their son aren’t and that their son is actually missing!
As Lucca crumbles to the ground screaming, wailing and breaking, Lexi is screaming while trying to find her son, but when she sees the state that Lucca is in and that his PTSD and past experiences are coming back with full force to haunt him, she takes control of the situation and starts to deal with the police, security and everything else around her. As he is breaking, she is being reformed into a master multitasker and all the while juggling motherhood, but will Lexi be able to keep all the plates in the air, or will she crumble and break as her emotions cascade around her? Will Lucca be able to come out of his downward spiral and help Lexi to find their son, or will he let his demons get the better of him while he gives up the ghost? This is another rollercoaster ride of emotion as you are hauled along on their journey with them and experience every twist and turn at the same time.

All i can say about Sons of Sindicato is oh my gosh. Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus had this reader hooked from chapter one in this mafia book. Their character descriptions are beyond words, you almost feel that they are real people standing in front of you. I found the flow of this novel to be catchy and very graceful, so much so that I read the whole thing in one sitting. Every character is just as important as the next, and you will find yourself quickly falling in love with not only the two main characters but also the axillary characters. Personally I have never been one for mafia books but Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus have completely changed my perspective and I for one can’t wait to see what happens next.

Sons of Sindicato by Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus brings us into an intense world filled with wonderful, strong characters and creates an interesting foundation for what I think is going to be an amazing series. In this peak into the mafia world of the Sindicato we meet Seth, the son of the head of the Sindicato, and Braelynn (also known as Shaw), a young strong lawyer who after defending Seth has fallen for the powerfully intense and of course extremely hot man. After months of seeing each other secretly events bring their relationship out into the open and force them to face up to weather they are a couple meant to last or if pressures around them will be too much to bear. This is definitely a very exciting first step into this series and i personally can’t wait to read more!!! please keep them coming!!!

WOW!!!… I don’t really know what to say about Luce Eterna Part One. My brain is totally scrambled and my emotions are all over the place. I’ll need some time to recover from this book. SJ Molloy was new to me until I discovered this series and now I can’t give her enough praise for this amazing series. This has definitely been the most powerful, emotional book of the series so far. This book is so different from the first 4 books in that the tables have totally turned for Lucca and Lexi. Lexi has struggled with major anxiety due to a horrifying childhood and Lucca has totally been her rock, the person who grounded her. Now Lexi has recently given birth prematurely to twins and is excited to start a life as a family when their world is turned upside down. Surprisingly Lexi is the strong one who takes charge while Lucca totally falls apart. My emotions were all over the place. One minute I felt heart sorry for Lucca, then in a blink I wanted to kick his butt and tell him to get a grip. On the other hand sometimes I loved Lexi and other times I wanted her to calm down and just give Lucca a hug. I didn’t know which side I was on. It changed from page to page. This is a deep and dark book, like the previous books in the series. I recommend that you have some tissues handy as this book is heartbreaking. I really can’t wait to read the climax of this amazing story.

This is book 5 part one in The Luminara Series. And this book is just as gripping and emotional ride from start to end. I do really recommend reading these books in order so you get a full understanding of the characters and their pasts.
In this story we are back with Lucca and Lexi. We also now have 2 babies. After Lexi was kidnapped and went through a traumatic birth the babies are here and thriving. However the couple need to adjust to being parents and all the exhaustion and complications that involves. While learning to be the best parents possible they also have their issues from the past to deal with.
In this book we see a role reverse with Lexi being the strong one, which most people do when they become a mummy and Lucca is the one struggling with his new life and his past.
Can Lexi and Lucca work through these new obstacles? Will every parents nightmare destroy they both? How can they keep their relationship alive when they are struggling day to day? This books is a great insight to what most new parents think and feel with regards to caring for their little ones and the impact it had on their lives.

Sons of Sindicato: Seth’s Novella by Sonya Jesus and Cam Johns was a great read! For such a short story, this one was packed full if drama, action, romance and suspense. I wasn’t sure how I would enjoy this book when I picked it up but I was very surprised! This book definitely left me wanting more. It didn’t end on a cliff hanger exactly, but it definitely leads up to a sequel. I can not WAIT to read the next installment soon!

Wow, this novella was a thrill ride! Murder, mayhem, and the threat of the law is in full swing in Sons of Sindicato.
I really enjoyed the introduction to the Giordano crime family and the power struggle they are having with the Rossi’s, another Sindicato family. I also liked the tension of when to follow the law and when to break it. Those here for the romance will be happy that there is enough spice to qualify as romance without it being overdone or distracting from the overall story.
Something that stood out to me in this novella is that despite the fact that the two main characters, Seth and Braelynn, and supporting cast already knew one another it isn’t a shock to be introduced the middle of everything that’s going on. I admit I’d love to know more of the backstory of the Sindicato as a whole, and from the preview of the next book it does seem we’ll get a peek into some of that.
Trigger warning for sexual assault and fictional murder.

I love a good mafia romance. This book though does have a triggering moment in it, was a nice intro into the Sindicato World. Seth is the son of the leader of the Sindicato family and falls for his leading lady is a criminal lawyer that got him off in more ways than one. This book is honestly a quick read with some unexpected turns. I think it took me about an hour to read. I am looking forward to seeing how things play out with this family. Luckily I don’t have to wait long as the new book was just released today.

Book 5 of the series and I just have to say that it gets better with every book. The characters are well-written. I feel like the characters could have been a few people I have met throughout my life. The plot is a page turner with many little twists. Just when you think you may know what’s going on, BAM, twist! I You feel every emotion that Lei and Lucca feel as the story goes along It’s not often that you can feel that in a story. This story left me on the edge of my chair and now I will be eagerly awaiting Part 2…

Braelynn Shaw is a defense lawyer defending the rich and the worst of society. She finds herself in deep when she commits murder. Will she get help from her secret lover? The book had me captured from the very start. I found at times I was holding my breath hoping beyond hope all will turn out for Braelynn Shaw. Although she committed murder I was cheering her on. The author has a way of making you feel compassion for the characters. I looked forward to Book 2 and getting to know the other characters in the mafia family.

This book is just so full of emotion. Page Turner with ups, downs and definitely a few tears from me. The love between Lucca and Lexi….undeniable. The strength that SJ Molloy puts into Lexi’s characters is just amazing. Lexi no doubt is a survivor and a very strong woman. Lucca…oh Lucca, my heart!!! This series is just fantastic and this book is just as amazing as the other books!! Its one heck of a roller coaster ride, so hold on and have some tissues ready too. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Lexi and Lucca have been through the wringer. Michael Parks, David, Gina and Kimberly are still causing massive amounts of havoc in the background With the help of their friends and family, Lexi and Lucca show how much love and support can help you get through things. Lexi shows her strength as we see her grow while dealing with issues from the past. The plot in this installment had more romance and twists which I loved. The beauty of Italy can be felt in the descriptions that SJ puts in her writing. Someday I will experience the beauty of Tuscany…Thank you, SJ

I had to go back and double check that this book was only 108 pages. I truly think that it takes a huge amount of talent to put so much “story” into just 108 pages. From the very first uncomfortable moment in Wexler’s office through all the tuff times and ooooo so sexy parts this book had me hooked. Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus make one dynamic duo of talent. The flow of the book is AMAZING. I’m extremely excited to see how these two continue their co-writing.

Luce Eterna Part One is the fifth instalment in the Luminara series by S.J Molloy. This is a dark and erotic romantic suspense- with angst, emotion, drama, danger, and twists and turns. As the story follows on from the previous books I really recommend reading the other books first in order to fully appreciate the story. I had been on the fence with this series, especially through the first couple of books, but S.J Molloy has definitely won me over. I still think that the first three books could have been condensed into fewer books, but have enjoyed the story nonetheless. This is not a light fluffy read- the series is quite raw, with dark themes that could be considered triggers for some people. The characters have been through so much, and there is no respite in sight yet! The author has certainly put them through the wringer. So bring on Book #6!!
