Wow… What to say for sure is hard for me with this review. SJ Molloy is new to me as an author. I was slightly warned this was a dark read with all the dark and twisted things that normally don’t bother me but actually tend to draw me into reads. You see, I like to escape and find things that pull me out of the darkness that can be my own life sometimes. I want it to hurt more than my own. Well Ms. Molloy, you have surely outdone yourself with this novel and this series. I like it. I don’t know what that says about me but I really, really like it and I want more. I am invested in these characters and I will be going back for more to see where they began and how we ended up here. I do slightly wish I had done so before diving in here but that was my own mistake. I won’t divulge what happens in this book. That would be a travesty at best but I will say if you want dark romance, erotica written with taste and done in a way you want to enjoy and feel as if you slipped away for a bit, this is the book for you, maybe even the series. I will say don’t pick it up if you are sensitive and have easy triggers. Just don’t.

Cam Johns really knows how to bring mayhem, murder, and mafia into a great story. I absolutely loved this book. Braelynn is a strong female character that really empowered me and Johns made you fall in love with all of the characters no matter how good or bad they were.
Braeylynn gets caught up in a predicament but is it truly self defense or is this something she has been wanting to do. She ends up turning over secrets that help her mafia boyfriends father gain power within the family. She struggles with the acceptance because she is not of Italian heritage.
I don’t know what you are waiting for! Go and grab this book!!

Braelynn Shaw, just made partner in her law firm. A law firm that defends the worst of the worst criminals. I loved this story of intrigue and romance. Not only does the lawyer fall in love with one of her clients, but she isn’t Irish, a requirement of his father. Can they overcome the hurdles put in their way? Will a common enemy help them to follow their hearts? I couldn’t put this book down and read it in one sitting. I fell in love with the characters and was rooting them on the whole way. Definitely getting the next book to read.

Sons of Sindicato is the prequel in the Sons of Sindicato series by Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus. It was a very quick read, but boy did it pack a punch. I was hooked from page one!
Braelynn is a criminal defense attorney at a high profile law firm that works with known members of the mafia. But Braelynn has a couple of secrets that could destroy everything.
Seth is one of the sons of the Sindicato. He is implusive and hot headed and his dad, the leader of the Sindicato doesn’t approve.
This prequel is full of secrets, love, and strategy. And leads beautifully right into the first full novel of the series!

I’m continuing to get pulled into this great thrilling series. There was so much going on my head was spinning. I will warn this book is not to be read as a stand alone.
There is danger lurking around the corner for Lexi and Lucca is determined to keep her safe. They travel to Tuscany to get away. We continue to get a glimpse at memories that Lexi has which helps explain the darkness and her fears. Will Lucca be able to keep Lexi and her mother safe?
The author does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing. I continue to love the characters and Lucca is such a great loving man that I can’t help but grow more and more in love with him myself. His past does come back to haunt him in this book as well. My emotions were all over the place. Watching these two grow as a couple just makes your heart swell. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Another intense novel by S.J. Molloy. Lexi and Lucca once again must undergo an intense and terrifying journey as they try to find happiness and enjoy their love. S.J. Molloy takes the reader to a really dark place and slowly leads them back to the light. This novel is definitely not for the faint of heart but is it worth reading. If you enjoy dark drama filled books, you should definitely read this series by S.J. Molloy.

Luminoso (The Luminara Series, Book 4) by SJ Molloy – Review by Krista Vaughan
Lucca is trying to keep Lexi safe. He is doing everything in his power to do so. You can FEEL his love and his desperation to keep his love safe. Michael starts to taunt her, getting close and terrifying her. They return to Tuscany living closely with friends and family under security. The fear traps them mentally, the security traps them physically and they start to break. Lucca tries so very hard to be everywhere and everything Lexi needs. A baby! The love can only grow but the need to protect overwhelms. This continuation of Lucca and Lexi’s story is full of love, obsession, desperation, and sacrifice. There is nothing they won’t do to protect their love. Their light. I can’t wait for the next book!

Can I say, what a ride! This series I am so emotional over and this continuation of the story is definitely no exception. There is just so much raw emotion and the story sucks you in. Lucca and Lexi continue to grow as a couple, and the roller coaster of this relationship….wow! Lexi’s step brother, gosh, he is just …… his character is scary to me. SJ Molloy really captures each character and continues the Lucca and Lexi legacy in my heart so wonderfully!

This book is only for those over the age of 18 due to it’s graphic nature, adult content and triggering themes.
This is the continuation of Lexi and Lucca’s story, and that her past tormentor has been released from jail in Australia and is determined to make Lexi pay for what she did in their shared past and he is finding the most innovative and underhanded ways in which to do this. He is praying on her family and friends, as well as finding out all he can about Lucca at the same time, he has done his research and done it well, however, when Lucca finds out about it, his only concern is Lexi and her safety, however, while they are on a trip to see her family, it all comes out and Lexi is told that he has been seen nearby, it is almost more than she can bear as it all comes rushing back to her.
On their fated trip, Lexi is feeling extremely unwell, but just blames it all on a stomach bug, but when she finally gets to her grandparents house and she settles into the visit, Lucca is still looking after her while getting to know the rest of her family, but when she is still ill a few days later, her mum suspects it isn’t a bug and insists that Lexi takes a pregnancy test, in the end she takes triple that and when the realisation hits that she is indeed pregnant with Lucca’s child, this puts even more pressure on the couple than before. One evening as they are spending time together, it is reported that Micheal has been seen near the house they are staying in and that despite all the security which is in place, they are not safe there, so Lucca makes the drastic decision to take himself, Lexi and her mum Grace back to Tuscany immediately, so the hurriedly pack a bag, say their goodbyes and hurtle to the private airstrip as fast as humanly possible. While on the plane, Grace takes her medication, Lucca drowns his worries and anxieties in whiskey while Lexi panics that it is going to be Tuscany all over again, so as she tries to talk to him and get him to open up, the only way he can is by her giving him over the control so that he can work out his frustration without resorting to drink. Lucca hates himself afterwards, however, he does finally open up and talk to Lexi about the situation.
When they get to the farmhouse, all they want to do is sleep, however, Lexi’s nightmares continue and her mother starts having episodes of her own brought on by the traumatic events of the night before, but Lucca is there to pick up the pieces as best he can and support both of the ladies in his life, while also running his business at the same time. As the stresses all pile up and the media get a whiff of the story, scandals are broken and the family’s haunted past is dredged up and brought back into the spotlight, this is too much for Lexi to cope with and she struggles with the stress and anxiety, but when Lucca starts to become distant and closed off, Lexi is even more worried about him. Neither of them want to hurt the other and by continuing the cycle of non-communication this is only doing them more harm, but when a new threat is unleashed and trusts are betrayed, Lexi and Lucca begin to wonder who is really on their side and it brings out the determined and strong willed woman in Lexi while pushing Lucca to breaking point while trying to protect her and their unborn baby.
Will they have any peace while Lexi copes with a difficult pregnancy, while having the eyes on the world focussed on her and Lucca, or will Lucca’s need to protect his family break the fragile bonds holding them together? Will they be able to fight the incoming storm together, or will it break them apart on the rocks of their pasts? This is another compelling installment in a darkly romantic series where love, lust, light and strength will all be tested as past and present combine to create a turn of events which will change perceptions and realities completely.

This details the next chapter of Lucca and Lexi’s lives as they embark on the journey of parenthood whilst still dealing with their issues from the past. I did enjoy finding out what was next in their story and how they respond and adapt to the new challenges in their lives and how their relationships with each other and their families cope under these new pressures. My only criticisms of this series is that it’s very heavy emotional subjects and at times I would have to have a break and refocus myself. I also found the many deep and meaningful declarations of love quite repetitive at one point and they aren’t always needed for the story or the character development.
Luce Eterna: Part 1: Book 5, The Luminara Series by S.J. Molloy is the next instalment of this fantastic series. This is a series that really needs to be read in order as it follows the same characters all the way through and is a continuation of their story. This book is every bit as dark and intense as the other books but I think I found this on to be the most emotional. It felt like such a tumultuous rollercoaster and I never felt like I knew where the author was going to take us. This is easily my favourite series of the year so far. It has been gripping from the moment started reading it and I cannot wait to see how this is all going to end. I am already itching to re-read it all from the start! This series is definitely worth your time.

Luminoso is the 4th book in the amazing Luminara Series by SJ Molloy. I have absolutely adored this series so far and Luminoso was my favourite of the series up to now. This book is not to be read as a standalone, the series must be read in order. This book, as with the others in the series comes with a trigger warning as it contains dark and highly emotive material. As I said, this has been my favourite in the series so far. Most of this book takes place in Tuscany and I just love reading about all the family times that Lucca and Lexi have there. Gamily is such an important theme running through this series and we see much more of it in this book as everyone has to stick together against the threat of Michael Parks. As well as the happy family times, there are also many dark times as Lexi and her mother struggle with their mental health and we also see cracks appearing in Lucca as he struggles to keep everyone safe. He takes everyone’s worries on as well as his own and it’s beginning to affect him. The finale to this book is amazing and I felt that I forgot to breathe at times. It just has everything. The drama is outstanding and will have you on the edge of your seat. I cannot recommend this book and this series enough. I have absolutely loved every book so far and I’m so glad that I have the 5th book Luce Eterna Part One on my kindle as I really need to know what’s in store next for Lucca, Lexi and the family.

This book continues where from it left off. SJ Molloy’s writing style is such that you really feel everything that Lexi and Lucca go through. The love Between Lexia and Lucca is so genuine and unique. This book is of adult content. It contains strong language, hot sex, and violence so it is not suitable for everyone to read and has many triggers in. This book is a roller-coaster to read.

Luminoso (Book 4 of the Luminara Series) by SJ Molloy was a great read! This book could be VERY triggering for some however, so be cautious when reading not only this book but the whole series. Once you get past all the triggers and pages of sex, the storyline is incredible. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series however due to some events that transpired in this book, I may not continue this series. But again, besides all the triggering content this series has been really good and I have for the most part really enjoyed reading. I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future, hopefully with some less troubling content involved.

Sons of Sindicato by Sonya Jesus and Cam Johns is what I would consider a dark romance.
Seth and Braelynn are doomed from the start. An attorney and a crime lord just aren’t meant to be, right? With the law coming at her, and the mafia less than happy about the relationship, what can Braelynn do? Is she safe anywhere?
Suspense, mystery and love can all be found in this novella. I can’t wait to read more!

Luce Eterna: Part 1: Book 5, The Luminara Series by SJ Molloy. Wow ok so I’m not even sure where to begin this review like I’m at a complete loss. What words can possibly do this story justice? Amazing? Incredible? Freaking out of this world good? All those will have to do. Lexi and Lucca have a huge chunk of my heart and I’ll be honest I don’t think I want it back. These two have taken readers on quite a journey and it’s been down right emotional. But I love every minute of it. Even though I’ll be honest this book just about broke me but I’m still anxiously awaiting the final installment. You definitely need to read this series in order and it’s not for everyone as it does have some difficult situations but I want to praise the authors efforts on handling those situations well and giving us characters we love and love to hate sometimes. I’m so excited for the next one but also sad as it’s the end I believe but I’ll be reading this series over and over. Five of the biggest stars I can find.

Luminoso: The Luminara Series, Book 4 by SJ Molloy. I simply cannot get enough of Lexi and Lucca. These two pull me in and I love getting lost in their story. Book four was just as amazing as the rest of the series. Yes this book may have triggers for some but I think the author handles them well. The situations in this book and series can be extremely difficult to see but I love how the author created our main character Lexi. She’s just so strong even even she feels at her weakest. And Lucca had me swooning just as much in this part of their journey. I love spending time with these two and all their amazing family and friends. So excited for more! Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

The Luminara Series: Box Set Volume 1: Lussuria – L’amore – Lucca’s Lust by SJ Molloy. This series is one of my top picks for 2021. I’m a girl who loves a story about people mainly women living through awful things and rising above it all. Throw in a guy who makes me swoon all that much better. Lucca and Lexi are a couple of main characters that will pull you so completely into their world you won’t even know the time passing. Books one and two are a continuous of their story and book three is Lucca’s view of book one. My only complaint is that I had a hard time getting through book three simply because I wanted the furthered storyline quicker. Don’t get me wrong I loved getting Lucca’s point of view but I’d have liked it a bit later but please don’t take that as a hit against this amazing series because even though I didn’t like the timing per say I still absolutely loved Lucca’s point of view. This series is definitely not for the faint of heart there’s situations that could trigger some and be uncomfortable for others but if you love a strong character who fights hard to live her life I highly recommend this series. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m so excited to get more time with Lexi and Lucca. Five great big stars!
Luminoso (The Luminara Series, Book 4) by SJ Molloy. This is the 4th book in the Luminara Series and its a great read. It is a very emotional read so be prepared. It can be read as a standalone but is much better if you read the previous 3 books. Its the continuing story of Lexi & Lucca and their emotional relationship. Having escaped their home after the tragic event they find themselves in Tuscany. Michael Parks is on the loose and still after Lexi. Lexi and Lucca brought Gracie with them and Lexi and Gracie are still trying to process their past torment. Along with the tragedies Lucca & Lexi find out some very happy news as well. Lucca will do anything he needs to do to save Lexi. Lexi is Lucca’s world and he will stop at nothing to protect her. The chemistry between Lexi and Lucca is amazing and jumps off the pages. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat!

This was the first book I’ve read by Sonya Jesus and Cam John. It certainly will not be the last. This story was a whirl wind of murder, mafia, love, and family. The story centers around a beautiful love between Braelynn Shaw and Seth Giordano. Shaw showed that she is not one to be messed with. The strong and powerful lawyer that can protect herself. What more could you want? Oh yeah! Add in a sexy, alpha, protector Seth then you have a force that can shake the world. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and I cannot wait till the next book!

5 Stars Luminoso (The Luminara Series, Book 4) by SJ Molloy
Luminoso is the fourth book in The Luminara Series by SJ Molloy . This is a ultimate love story that will have your emotions running all over the place at times my heart was breaking for these two. If you haven’t already started this series I would highly recommend reading this whole series in order to get the full understanding of what is going on. I must say this is my favorite yet. Lucca and Lexi are back and Whew what a ride. Their love story is like no others , together they can conquer anything from a dark past to a bright future. Find out what happens next when Lexi’s past comes back with a vengeance and wants revenge. Can Lucca keep her save and protected? I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait for the next book in this series

Luminoso is the fourth book in the Luminara series by S.J Molloy. This story follows on from book three, so it isn’t a standalone. The series/books really need to be read in sequence to fully appreciate the story. I have been on the fence with this series, having read the first three books as a boxset, I had felt that the story was really drawn out and could have been condensed into one or two books- and after reading this one, I still feel the same way- as this fourth instalment still doesn’t conclude the series, as there are two more books (at least) still to come- so I definitely think that they could have been condensed into a trilogy. The whole thing is very wordy and that frustrated me. But, I have warmed up to Lucca more in this book- but still couldn’t connect with Lexi in the way I would have liked, which was disappointing. As mentioned in my review for the first three books- some of the dialogue/situations felt forced, somewhat awkward, or stilted- which was still an issue in this book, for me- although it does seem to have improved a bit from the first three books- and I did ‘enjoy’ this book more than the first three. Crossing my fingers as I head into book #5.

Luminoso by S.J. Molloy is the fourth book in the Luminara series. This is a series that does need to be read in order as it follows the same characters and is a continuation of their story. For me this series just keeps getting better. Which each new book I am pulled further and further into these characters and their story. This really is a book – and series – that has it all. This book is such a rollercoaster of emotions. It really is a testament to the author that you feel absolutely everything as you read this book. I am fully invested in this story and cannot wait to see where it will go in the future!

This is book 4 in the Luminara series and wow what a book. It carries on the story of Lexi and Lucca beautifully. Their story is definately a difficult one to read but at the same time it’s awe inspiring how they have overcome so much to be where they are. The author does an amazing job with such delicate subjects. Always approaching them and writing them with respect and a lot of compassion. You really feel every emotion of the characters which gives you a great connection with this series.
Lucca and Lexi have escaped to Tuscany after the horror that happened at their home. With Michael Parks on the loose and tormenting Lexi, Lucca wants her as far away from there as possible. Lucca is a protector and will stop at nothing to protect Lexi.

Grab your tissues!!! S.J. Molloy is at it again. I’ve fallen in love with these characters and it feels like I’ve been with them on their journey through all their ups and all their downs. This is yet again a nail biting, suspenseful installment of the love storie between Lucca (the wear’s his heart on his sleeve, dominant) and Lexi (the broken but Survivor). If you’re looking for a page turner this is it!!!

Lussuria Lexi Robertson believes she has it all. She has a new practice as a physiotherapist, a loving brother, a protective, if not overly hyperactive dog, Doris, a wonderful group of friends, and of course, her best friend, Hazel. Where Hazel is outspoken and fun-loving, Lexi is reserved and distant. Their opposite natures bring them together and have since their first day at university.
Hazel and Lexi are off on a vacation in Tuscany, Italy. They want to learn to cook Italian cuisine and bask in the lovely Tuscan countryside. Lexi loves the villa, and their hosts, Sophia and Franco. Little does she know that her life is about to change. Lexi finds herself in the same villa as her mystery patient from before she left. She’s terrified that he stalked her there. Finding out that this is his grandparents’ villa, Lexi learns to trust Lucca Caruso.
Follow Lexi’s story fighting off the darkness of abuse and insecurity, to finding light in love and lust.
L’Amore Lexi and Lucca have discovered that they are each other’s present and future. The second book in the Luminara series focuses on how that love grows.
Suddenly their love is challenged when a ghost from her past begins searching for her. Life drastically changes for her and Lucca as well as anyone with whom they are closely acquainted. Can their love prevail? Or will darkness consume Lexi again?
Lucca’s Lust The third book of the Luminara series focuses on Lucca’s past. SJ Malloy does an outstanding job of describing how Lucca deals with life and tragedy. From his past to his present, the story of Lucca is an outstanding story of how a man deals with life, love, and tragedy.
This is a true story about overcoming your past to find love and light. I was captured by the stories of the characters from the moment I begin Lussuria. This is a true love story.
This is my second book by Sonya Jesus and my first book by Cam Johns. Sons of Sindicato has romance, murder, suspense, and so much more. For only 108 pages, it packs one heck of a punch. Braelynn is a strong female character, wish sass, that holds her own against it seems just about anybody. Seth is the kind of man you want by your side, strong, masculine, and a protector. These two can be an absolute powerhouse and I can’t wait to see what they do next. The secondary characters, bring a family feel, and as an Italian woman myself I was riveted by the pages. If you like romantic suspense, with some mayhem and murder, you will love this book.

Luminoso us the fourth book in The Luminara Series by SJ Molloy will have your emotions all over the place. The dark of the past rears its ugly head again just when things seemed to have settled. There is heartache and a deranged psychopath hellbent on revenge. This is the last book in the series and whilst it grabs at you and you want to keep the lights on there is also some aspects of the story that were a little too wordy for me.

The next chapter of Lucca and Lexi can they survive or will the past catch up with them and ruin their relationship.
Lexi is going through a lot, finding out she is pregnant and trying to hide it for the time being from friends and family but with horrendous morning sickness can she keep up the charade. Lucca as always is the protecting Lexi but can he be there all the time and keep her safe.
This is the fourth book in this series and to be honest if you are coming to this series fresh I would start from the beginning, although you do get more of the backstory within the book you really need to understand this couples journey from the beginning. With that said this story was epic, you understand a lot more of Lexi’s story and the ordeal that this woman went through in her childhood. I also loved the passion that jumps off the page with Lucca and that Lexi is his world and the utter determination that drives him to protect her.
This is a well written fast paced story with wonderful developed characters and a utter joy to read, although there is some dark history coming forward the light definitely out shines the dark. I can’t wait to read more stories by this wonderful author.
