I struggled between 4 & 5 stars on this book…This is my first read by this author and I completely enjoyed it. I went with 5 stars because I was totally hooked on the story and how it was told and I did not want to put it down until I finished.

It was definitely predictable and I figured it out early on so there was really no twist for me as the clues were quite obvious. The only thing that kept nagging at me was the blizzard, her outside covered in snow and finding the truck key in her hand, this was never addressed, and kind of threw me off, but what had me most invested was the interaction between all the characters and the build up of what is ahead in the books to follow. I love this group of people and can’t wait to get each of their stories.

It was a quick and super simple read and there were plenty of scenes that had me blushing and I do recommend reading it because there is a ton of potential for an awesome series ahead.

Really enjoyed it!

So when reading the end of Fire & Ice and she explained and gave us just enough of a teaser about this book I sat with a smile on my face wondering how this author was going to handle this with everything else I’ve read by her. I can only imagine this was a challenge for her 🙂

Bravo Miss Alexander..this was perfect! I want to say this is my favorite of the four but I enjoyed every one of these so much that its become one story for me and I so appreciate the work that went in to releasing these all so quickly, I was able to grab each one and jump right back in without any refresher time. Cy and Jolie will continue to be my favorite couple but Micah and Natalie won my heart almost immediately. There were a couple parts in this book that had me laughing out loud and most had to do with explaining some of the attractions at this park…This author never ceases to amaze me with how she can make this married for eons kind of woman blush. I love it!!

PLEASE give us more of this series, I don’t even care if it revolves around our already beloved characters..Just give us more!! I can’t wait to read all of these again!!

It is a must to read this in order, I can’t imagine not having read all of these.

Simply Amazing!!!

This is absolutely at this moment my favorite of this whole series. It was so full of edge of your seat reading and putting it down was completely impossible. Been in kind of a reading rut lately and was really looking forward to this book. First because I am in love with this new series these two amazing authors have joined together to create and second because these two amazing authors both always remind me why I love reading so much!

I highly recommend reading the Prequel and then book 1 to this series before reading this one just so you get the full impact of the Alliance Agency and all those that are involved. I’m thinking you could possibly read this as a standalone, but I can’t imagine getting out of it the same thing.

I love stalker stories, especially ones like this that have me trying to figure it out all the way through and of course always being wrong. This book has it all and Cleo and Mason were an awesome leading couple. The danger and the secrets and the OMG so Hot moments between these two..I just can’t LOL

I Loved It and absolutely as usual can not wait for more..These two authors joining together was a genius move!!

One of my favorite storytellers ever has hit yet another completely out of the park with every book in this set. You start out with Cy and Jolie and get to follow them all the way through each book as they kinda sorta stay main characters throughout the complete story. We get introduced to other characters though throughout who each get their own spotlight story but the main theme stays the same. The planning, creating, and finally building Spicetopia, an adult theme park.

These books are HOT, Steamy, some danger, a lot of emotion, and did I mention HOT??

I completely fell in love with everyone in these books and loved following everything that went into building this theme park. It actually felt so real I want to google and find it, although people in my life would look at me like I’d lost my mind as I’m not that adventurous, this author makes it seem so normal and almost possible.

Read these!! Not even kidding..start at the beginning and I promise no matter what genre you read this will become one of your favorite series ever!

Reading this quick gem has made me want to go back and reread the first book. I love these characters and this story although quite short was jam packed full of vintage Autumn Sand, who couldn’t move up much further on my favorites list.

When all they wanted to do was have an awesome summer break, you just know that there’s a lot more to come than cupcakes and rainbows lol secrets and relationships tested. I loved it and can’t recommend it high enough!

Read Joe Football before this one, which is what I’m going back to do so I’m all ready for the next in this series…I can not wait!

Holy Buckets I loved this book! I did not want it to end. Gwyn Mcnamee is an automatic for me and is already on my favorites list. This is my first time reading Christy Anderson and I’ve already pulled her books up so I can read more. These two wrote this story in a way you have no idea who wrote what because it all flows together so perfectly.

This was a different story for a few reasons, one being that most of the story took place in one night and in one place and in my opinion this could be a Christmas Movie on that channel that does the countdown to Christmas every year. I felt like I was right there and could see the beauty outside the windows and actually hear the vending machines dropping the treats. It had my emotions all over the place and Max won my heart right from the start.

The misunderstandings that caused years of loneliness and secrets for both Art and Pen had me wanting to shake both of them but the way this story was told and unfolded made it perfect and I truly want more… I can not wait for the next in this series, while I was reading all I could think of was I hope Archie gets his own story and book I get to the end and find out he is next, so now I’ll hope that just maybe we will get to know Athena as well!

Loved this and can’t recommend it enough. These two authors make an awesome team and I hope we get much more from them in the future!

I am so loving two of my favorite authors ever teaming up in this series…I especially love since they are both so awesome that the stories flow so smooth, you can not tell there are two authors writing this book.

I love this new Alliance and the people are all fresh and complicated, and awesome, and troubled, and amazing and I can’t wait to read about each one of them.

Kingsley and Sydney were everything each other needed even if they had no idea, Sydney’s past was horrible and it just would not leave her alone. Kingsley gets to head up the Alliance Agency’s first case and must save the niece of a rich and powerful man who is being held for ransom …but further investigation into the whole story brings to light some things that don’t make a lot of sense. I loved the first meeting between Kingsley and Sydney and I fell for him so quick with how he did everything he could to prove to her that she could trust him.

This is going to be an amazing series and I already feel like im completely invested in this group, I can not wait for the next one and all those to come after.

Highly recommend!!

Loving Jake (Almost Perfect Series Book 1) by Lisa Lanay

5 +++++ Stars

Oh my gosh I loved this book!! Being my first by this author I wasn’t sure what to expect and it went beyond what I could have hoped for. I loved these people Jake and Kimberly were awesome and I was so totally invested in their story from the first couple pages. Not only the leads but I loved the secondary as well. The miscommunication between Jake and Kimberly had me wanting to crawl into the book and slap them both upside the head. I did though feel so bad for Jake, his story and the way it was told broke my heart, then mended it just as quick. The hospital scene took my breath away!!

This was an original story that at times I thought would go a certain way yet this author found ways to keep it fresh and unique and I appreciated that. I fell head over heels for gramps even if he was a bit difficult at times and he broke my heart.

This was an awesome start to a new series, one that I know I will read over and over again. I can not wait for Zanes story and also anything else this author writes..

Can’t recommend this enough, it had all the feels and I loved it!

I had to have this anthology as soon as I saw it and one clicked it as quick as I could. I’ve read or wanted to read many of these authors and thought what better way to do that then to help a great charity.

What first drew me to this collection was KL Montgomery, she sits within the top of my favorites and is always an automatic one click, she has actually written a couple of my favorite books of all time so I could not resist. Reconstructed Heart was a quick yet complete story full of all kinds of emotions and Trey and Jenna had me all kinds of messed up. Took me a bit to warm up to Jenna yet I really like how her character was written. Trey won me over immediately and my heart went out to him as he worked through a devastating event involving a friend. How this author weaved the events of this story is just one of the reasons I love her so so much. I seriously loved that this was not an insta love type of story, I loved the caution that was taken by Trey even if I wanted to push him here and there lol I still loved how all that played out.

This collection was awesome, I got to experience authors I’ve wanted to read for awhile and I also have now stumbled on a few new to me authors that have me checking out what else might be available. It also opened my eyes a bit more as I was taken a bit closer to what our first responders deal with on an everyday basis. My respect has only grown more because of this.

Loved it and absolutely recommend everyone one click this amazing anthology!!

This is my third book by this author and once again I loved it..I think my favorite part right now is that I read it when the holidays are approaching and it seriously helped me get into the spirit. Of the two short stories I think Noelle’s Promise was my favorite. It was a story full of alot of feelings and my heart went out to her all the way through. Although quite short and I would have loved a lot more it still felt like a full and complete story. I loved how patient Logan was throughout and his family was awesome!

I also enjoyed Eve’s Hope but did not connect to that quite as easily, that one felt a bit rushed and before I knew it I was done..I think I’d have loved that had there been more story involved. I did really like the fact that one story focussed on Christmas and the other New Years.

I read this in one sitting and can not wait for more from this author.

Just a bit different in a couple ways…This one was full of suspense, just a few heavy sex scenes, and what I like to call a couple that doesnt share LOL Add all of this up and for me this is my favorite so far. I loved the first two as well but this one was amazing!!

I LOVED Neve and Enya, their interaction was everything I love in characters. She just cracked me up and even when the danger kicked in, her strength and will during that was awesome. I loved Neve’s inner dialogue, especially when Enya wouldn’t give up and kept on and on.

I truly love this series, and am so so excited to still be following Cy & Jolie’s ongoing story and can not wait for what is on tap for the next book..this is written in true Phoebe fashion…you just really don’t know what might happen or who it might happen to or with.

Highly recommend starting at the beginning…for me this is not a standalone and you will be so thankful you did!

As Always..Another out of this world book from one of my favorite authors ever!!

I loved this book so so much, this is only my second read by this author and that has to change because I absolutely love her writing style and her creative storylines.

Patience is probably one of my favorite characters ever..I want to be her friend and hang out with all her friends as well. I truly felt like I was inside this book while reading. I loved the parents and Aunt Satin cracked me up. I wanted to slap Duke upside the head, I was so mad at him for a good part of this book, he did finally win me over and I was able to forgive him, took me a bit longer than it did Patience, I wanted to slap her as well for not making him grovel a bit more.

This story had me hooked from page one and I seriously had problems putting it down until I finished. I loved all the interaction and I felt almost every emotion while reading, I smiled a lot, but it also made me seriously sad for everything Patience went through.

I hope there is more to come from this town and all these characters. I would love for all the guys to come home and have more interaction with the whole group…

Highly recommend this book!!!

I have so many thoughts after reading this author’s debut novel and I’m not sure how to put it all into words, so will try this:

What I loved –
I opened this book prepared for confusion, because debut novels a lot of times do this to me as an author settles in to their comfort zone, but what I love is that the writing felt like I was sitting at a table with this author and she was literally talking to me and telling me this story. That was awesome!

I also loved that I dont choose this genre yet found myself not being able to put this book down.

I loved that the absolutely beautiful cover made me one click but the authors words kept me totally invested in this story and the characters.

Speaking of the characters, Xen was Awesome! I loved her inner dialogue and her strength throughout all that was changing in her life.

I loved how easy and smooth this book felt and I enjoyed every word while reading it in one sitting.

What I didnt love –

ummmm…The next book is not available yet….

Yep that’s it …I can not recommend this book enough and I can not wait to read more from this author.

Outstanding job!!

This is I believe my 2nd book by this author and I truly did enjoy it..It had a lot of moving parts and I got confused a couple times but was able to catch back on pretty quick. I also thought I had it all figured out like 10 times lol only to be wrong 9 of them.

Poor Louise was a complete mess LOL and her poor daughter Mackenzie, I loved her character and how she handled everything that was happening with her Mom, her Dad and just everything involved.

This was a great story and I became invested quite early and read it in one sitting. This would have been a 5 star book for me had I not lost the story a couple times but like I said I caught back up pretty quick.

I am definitely looking forward to more books from this author.

This book…..not sure how to write this review so just going to go with whatever pops in my head.

This story grabbed me from page 1…squeezed the ever loving life out of me…destroyed me …blew life back in to me, knocked me back down again, and then picked me back up…I ugly cried more than once, well more than twice actually and feel completely worn out. I’ve read I think all of this authors books, I’ve loved every one of them and will read them all again at some point, but this one even though the second in a series stands with in my top favorites of all time.

Ginger and Jonathon brought out every emotion I didn’t know I had. This story was written so beautifully and felt so real. I swear I feel like I stepped back out of Sandersville Beach after reading the last page. I loved Ginger in Emmy and Cappy’s book and love her even more now. Speaking of which it was so completely awesome being back with Emmy and Thomas again as well..I loved their story and it was nice to be apart of their continuing journey. I love this town and I love the people in it…I want to move there!

I want so bad to get into more details of the story itself but I don’t trust myself to do that without giving away things I shouldn’t be so will end here and leave you with…these books are a must read, there’s too much in the first book to skip it so I don’t recommend that. I can not wait for Fiona’s story, I’ve been curious since book one how she would be handled and her story is next..YES!!

Many thanks and much love to this author!

As much as this cover scared the bejeesus outta me I just knew I had to read this book after reading the synopsis. Holy Moly talk about a lot of moving parts. I only got lost a couple times as there was so much going on, but it didn’t take long to find my way back. I wish this author had more books out because I’ll tell you right now I would be 1 clicking right about now but I’ll have to settle with following so Im first in line when the next one comes out. I would so love to see a follow up to this book, I became so invested in Isaac’s story and I did not want it to end.

His journey to avenge those he loved was a nail biting while sitting on the edge of your seat kind of story. My heart is still literally broke for this man. I could almost feel the battle he was fighting not only physically but the one he had raging in his mind. I also loved Roach, and there just seems to be more story to tell for both of them. I sincerely hope there’s more to come.

I highly recommend anyone that loves a good crime / mystery / dangerous / thrill ride to grab this book immediately. I absolutely loved it and the writing was outstanding!

Amazing and falls in the deserves more than 5 stars category!

Chicken Scratch (The Sisters, Texas Mystery Series Book 1) by Becki Willis

Becki Willis is a new to me author and I can’t figure out why it has taken me so long to find her books. Chicken Scratch looks to be the 1st of many books in this series and I can not wait to read every one of them. This is my favorite genre and this author filled this book with everything I love. I think my favorite part is that the relationship that is just touched on here and there is still completely up in the air. Not sure why I like that so much but the build up is my favorite part and that was perfection.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and my mind jumped around a bit because every time I had it figured out something else would get thrown in the mix and I’d be completely wrong. Again just another favorite part of this genre and this book. I also appreciated the clean story, dont get me wrong I love the grit as well but it was refreshing reading an entire book without the sex scenes.

Granny Bert was my favorite, I loved Maddie and her best friend and the interaction between them all was spot on. I laughed quite a bit and I just can not recommend this book high enough. I can not wait to read the rest. There was no major cliffhanger but there are unanswered questions.

Awesome read!

This book started out awesome and flowed perfectly and just a few pages in I was like yep this will be a one sitting kind of book. I loved the characters and the storyline seemed somewhat unique. I became invested early with Lizzy and even Tara. I wasn’t sure what I was in store for just from the title of this book but even B.A. impressed me once I knew more about him. I truly loved this story all the way up to when they actually meet. For me it went a bit downhill from there..May just be the state of mind Im in right now but there didnt seem to be enough substance to the two of them as it was sex scene after sex scene from there and I could handle that but for me personally just a bit too graphic and the words used made me cringe in some places. This caused me to do a lot of skimming and that is a true pet peeve of mine.

It’s pretty obvious by the way this one ended that there will be more to come for all of these characters, I will probably read the next one because the storyline itself was something that kept me hooked and I’m hoping that there will not be quite as much graphic, leave nothing to the imagination kind of moments.

In saying all of that above…I do sincerely like this authors style of writing..It was easy to read and quick to grab.

I love this series so so much, and since they are all quick short reads I can’t wait to go back and read them all back to back.

This author’s stories just flow so smooth and are always full of content without the wordy fluff thrown in. I can always expect action and edge of my seat reading and I love that.

Hope was simply awesome. She was tough as nails in a small package and was living her dream of being part of the agency, a group of lawyers that were all about setting things right in the world even if it meant making it happen when the law couldn’t. Hope was a genuine Bada** and seemed to beat any challenge sent her way, until her past creeps up on her and her first real assignment doesn’t go as planned.

I love how all the characters weave in and out of these stories and this one left me more than curious about what is to come.

Loved it, I would recommend reading them all in order just to get the full benefit of all of who you are reading about.

This has to be one of the sweetest stories ever! It caught me totally off guard because when I think of this authors books I immediately get scared lol but this one..oh my gosh I loved it and read it in one sitting. I’ve only read the books of hers that mess with your mind so this was a welcome change and now I just want to go see what else is available and read them all.

I want a Max/Maxine she was my favorite character in this whole book and I love that I was left guessing with her in the end. June had it rough growing up, some would think she had it made but it was the complete opposite and I felt all the feels reading her story. She came out the other side though a strong force that didn’t trust easily, if at all. This made life rough for Graham as his immediate attraction to her had him wanting to break down all those walls she had put up.
I loved the friendship bond between Monica and June, even if it still took a while for June to open up and trust her.

I love how this story was written, it had me hooked from the start and is one of those kinds of books you just want to curl up on the couch with coffee, a warm blanket and no distractions. This had it all…It had me super angry at times, super sad, and there were times I laughed at the banter between June and Graham. This was unique and I loved the message this book portrays.

Totally awesome read…A definite one click author for me.

The very first thing I did when finishing this book was immediately visit this authors website and Facebook page …I had no luck figuring out when the next book was coming…ugh, I need it NOW!

What is so amazing about reading the many books I have by C.A. King is that paranormal is one of my least favorite genres but the stories I’ve read and there’s been a few by this author have me completely addicted to her writing and her imagination. I read this one within an hour and a half and wanted to scream when I finished. Tails and Brodie’s story is such a sweet, sad, exciting, dangerous, frustrating, amazing, edge of your seat kind of adventure and I love them so so much. I wanted so bad to strangle Eliza in this book but at the same time wanted to hold her close and protect her.

There were a few surprises in this part, ones that caught me totally off guard and there was one character that surprised me in the end and I hope he is a big part of the next one. I just can’t wait to see where this series goes from here…there’s more than one story going on here, both of them very important and I’m a little worried and a lot excited for more. Please please let the next come soon!!

Read this series, not even kidding, it’s worth every second of it!

As a parent and now a grandparent, I read this through the first time by myself and I totally get the message being portrayed in this book and I appreciate the ideas given to help a child through these trying times. I then gave the book to my 9 year old grandson, my 10 year old grandson and my 9 year old granddaughter. They had a bit of trouble reading it and tripped over many words losing the meaning along the way. I can not imagine trying to read this to a 3 – 5 year old and them getting anything out of it besides liking the pictures.

The message was clear and using the tools that were included in the story are great and the parent can figure out how to implement them to make the child understand. As a children’s book the pictures were awesome but the story got a bit lost even with the older ones.

Great book for the adult who needs new ways to handle these situations.

Tarina Deaton is absolutely one of my favorite authors and I was so excited to grab this book. One negative…It wasn’t long enough. That’s not to say the book needed more, it felt like a complete story, I’m just greedy and wanted more. One of many positives…This is a book 1 which means there’s more to come!

I don’t normally like the instant love thing but the way this one was written it made sense and it still felt real. I’m not at all into archaeology and didn’t really understand all of that but it didn’t matter. The story itself was about an ex navy seal, Shane trying to figure out what is next and Kinley (love that name) an archaeologist who translated an ancient Mayan text, and those that want that information and will do just about anything to get it. This was a fast moving story with a lot of content that moved smoothly and made for an awesome read. I loved both of the main characters and there were others that were part of the Leonidas group that I enjoyed as well and hope that’s the route this series goes so we get to know more about them.

I highly recommend this story as well as anything this author writes, I fell in to her Combat Hearts series and after reading this I’m ready to go back and read those all over again.

LOVED IT!!

This is my second book by this author and as with the first I am totally in love with this series. This is my chosen genre and this author sits in the top with my other favorites and with the way this one ended I just know I will go crazy waiting for the next one.

This book brought back all my favorites and added a new favorite into the mix, or maybe two. I love the fast pace of this book, it is never boring and you never want to put it down. What started with a boring cheater case turned into so so much more and the constant twists and turns had me in heaven. I already want to read both of these again. I seriously hope the next book includes Eric as his quirkiness made this book that much better, and what is the status of one of our lead players, that text had me a bit confused and now my mind is going all over trying to figure out what the future holds for all of these people.

Loved it, you must read these in order, do not start with this one you will be missing vital parts of the story between these characters.

Another homerun for this author and this must read series. This author crept up on me back with Isabella’s Painting which is what got me hooked on her. This was an awesome addition to this series and Karina continues to be one of my favorite characters ever. I have also quickly fallen for the Silverthorne Security guys, I love everything about the interaction between them and Karina. Another series with them would not disappoint me in any way.

This story was just another Karina getting in the middle of a mess, thanks to her sister and at no fault of her own. She just seems to fall into these circumstances that draw her in and she can’t seem to say no. I love her! Something else I really love about these books is the relationship between Mike and Karina… It’s there, you know its there but its not the main focus, which makes these books refreshing to read.

I love this author and I highly recommend reading all of these in order so you can appreciate the many different aspects of this book.

This is my second book by this author, with the first being book 3 in this series…Still have to go back and grab books 1 and 2 and then will read all 4 back to back. I LOVED this one as much as I loved #3. This author’s writing style has me completely hooked, this book was my first of this holiday season and it made me want to grab as many more as I can 🙂

This was such a sweet story and I read it in one sitting. Ashley escaped her hometown a few years back and moved to Denver to prove to her twin sister and her small town that she really was over her ex. Now she returns to stand next to said sister in her wedding to said ex boyfriend. She knows she’s over him but no one else believes her…Enter Jennings, someone Ashley has history with who agrees to stand in as a love interest so Ashley can once again prove she is perfectly ok with the upcoming wedding. Problem is she wants what her sister has, not who her sister has but as things get complicated with her stand in BF, misunderstandings and trust issues arise, along with issues from the past.

I again absolutely loved this story and there was a scene towards the end that completely took my breath away…I’ve only read two of these and had no problem, so they can be read as stand alones but it has made me want to read them all so Id recommend grabbing them all.

This author has snuck up on me and quickly become a favorite…I loved this book!! Might be my favorite of all three but not by much because they were all amazing.

It took me a bit when i started to shake off the confusion and figure out what was going on but once I did I was caught, hook, line, and sinker. Could not put it down and already want to go back and read them all again.

It says this can be read as a standalone…Trust me when I say you do not want to do that. All 3 of these need to be read in order to get the full and complete picture …These characters are in all of them and Nonna is still my absolute favorite of the entire bunch.

This one hit ALL the feels, I laughed, I got seriously angry, I was saddened many times and it may sound funny but I felt proud of our little Becca, what she did with her life was amazing and I had to laugh at how clueless she was on so many things yet held the strength and bravery of many men. I straight up fell in love with Zach, and learning of the history of these two characters made this story that much better. I love the family aspect of these books and when the Fisher Men get together it is LOL funny.

I can not recommend this book along with the first 2 books highly enough…One Click them all…I can not wait for the next in this series and I hope it’s not the end, there has to be a way to continue the Fisher Men story!

Loved It!!

I have never read the first book of a series and then 3 smaller books that were a prequel to the actual series but it was completely awesome. This author has a forever fan in me as her writing is out of this world and this series is simply outstanding!! Below a short review of each of these books. This is Aless’s story and what a story it is!!!

Book 1 – My Hidden Life
I was so excited to read this book after finishing The Only One, we got a glimpse of Aless at the end of that book but this story starts when she was a young girl, the daughter of the head of a crime family who wants to shape her into the one that takes over the family when she gets older and marries whoever it is her father decides she will marry.
I highly recommend this story as well as the first in the Brothers of Camelot, I can already tell this whole series is going to be one that I’ll want to reread in the future.

Book 2 – My Tragic Life
Another awesome part of this series…Im so anxious to get to where we meet Aless in the 1st book of Brothers of Camelot I can’t hardly stand it. Aless is totally awesome and I have fallen in love with so many people in these books and just seeing how all of this plays out is like nothing I’ve ever read…I normally don’t like prequels after the fact but this has been done brilliantly in my opinion by this author.
Im left with What is going to happen??? These characters I love so much, how are they going to play in to all of this…the tie in to the first in the Brothers of Camelot is so spot on, I’m just so excited to finish this story but I don’t want it to end either. Like I said this author has me all kinds of messed up.. LOL

Book 3 – My Free Life
I was so scared to start this book because I just knew when I finished Id want to jump right into the second book of The Brothers of Camelot and that is exactly what has happened. I love how this author started the Brothers series and then went into these 3 prequels. The My Life Series was awesome and the way she pulled in the Brothers in this story was brilliant. This author has to have a pile of notes or a white board with all kinds of stuff on it because she didn’t miss anything. Everything ties in perfectly and I truly believe Aless’s story needed to be told and this just has me needing the next book like right now!!
This part of Aless’s story was so full of twists and turns and I just can’t wait to see how this will all play out in her future. She’s probably one of the strongest female leads I have ever read about and I do hope that where she is now and what is to come she is able to find her softer side but I’m thinking that she will still need all of her training because we haven’t experienced yet the reaction to her actions in this story, that transition happened a bit too easy and I have a feeling the repercussions are still to come.

Read this series…It is so amazing and having these in a convenient box set will make it so much easier when I reread them in the future!!!

LOVED LOVED LOVED!!!

WOW…Just WOW… Until reading this book I had never heard, read or even knew about a multiverse genre. I actually had to ask what a multiverse was. Let me start by saying I don’t read sci fi and although my mind has not been changed and I won’t be searching for more multiverse or sci fi books in general, I must be completely honest and say that I seriously got into this book and will be searching out more from this author. I did not understand a lot and got lost many times because I was like all over space and I’ll admit I got really confused as there was a lot of moving parts to this story. There were also many many characters involved and keeping them all straight was a bit hard at times.

In saying all of that, this book was written beautifully and when I was able to concentrate only on this book I was able to keep things straight and what told me it was an outstanding story was that I usually listen to alot of my books using text to speech, I could not do that with this book because it needed my complete focus and I wanted to give it my complete focus and I did. The writing was so precise and I could tell a lot of care went into forming every word and every sentence.

Now in saying all of that…I’m going to read it again, it’s the first of a series and I am invested enough that I really need the second one and do hope to see some of my favorites return but now that I have enough of the story planted in my mind I want to go back and try to grasp some of the details I was a bit confused on, so thats my plan before the second one comes out.

I can only imagine that a true scifi fan will absolutely put this book within their top favorites and even those that don’t read this genre will absolutely love it!

I have loved the first 2 books of this series and this one follows right along, this could possibly be read as a standalone but I would absolutely not recommend it, there’s too much you would be missing and there is a continuing story happening and building in the background.

This might be my favorite so far and that’s hard to say because the first two were outstanding. I fell head over heels for Uriel, he made me smile often and Bekka had my emotions all over the place..I really liked her best friend and the twists in this book had me on the edge of my seat.

This book has me crazy thinking about what might happen in book four and I can not wait! Not going into any of the storylines as I don’t want to ruin any of the books for someone else but just know one clicking this series is something you will not regret. I love this author, she has made me read books and look forward to books I don’t normally read.

Loved it and can not wait for When The Paint Dries… I am seriously considering reading all of the first 3 over again so I can move right into 4 when the time comes..They are that good!!
