Satan’s Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 (Satan’s Devils MC Series) by Manda Mellett

5 +++++++ Stars but deserves so many more!

Manda Mellett is a master storyteller and I can confidently say that yes I’ve read a lot of MC books, and have loved many, but these are absolutely my favorites.

Turning Wheels – Sophie has been through so much just trying to help a friend escape an abusive relationship, and it’s not even over for her yet. Her friend managed to escape so the abuser is coming after Sophie for information and leverage. She is whisked away by an unlikely protector to the US and this is where we meet the Satan’s Devils MC. They have agreed to protect Sophie, which comes with many more issues she has to face.
Next to Drummer, Wraith, and Soph I think Peg was my favorite character in this whole book. I had some favorite scenes as well, the phone scene was AWESOME and I almost felt like I was there watching these guys fall out of their chairs. Now I must jump into Drummers book, the book I have probably looked forward to the most.

Drummer’s Beat – This one was full of everything I love about Manda’s books but had that little touch of something extra. I can feel how strong this MC is growing. The strength, the brotherhood, the loyalty, and the family. It’s all because of Drum’s leadership and it blows me away.
Drummer and Sam’s book again, will always be a favorite! Dear Lord, if you have not opened the world of the Satan’s Devils, you must do so, I literally can’t imagine not having these stories in my life.

Slick Running – This one came right out of the shoot tearing at my emotions, and I’m not sure those emotions ever evened out while reading the rest. This one kinda sorta has two storylines, one started back in book #1 and I love the way that was all handled..took me a second and I was like whoa hold on this sounds familiar then I actually went back and paid attention to the times given to me at the beginning of the chapters.
Slick has absolutely positively won every ounce of respect I can muster up, I felt so bad for him because he didn’t know the whole story about Ella and what she went through and acted rashly, as well as how Ella was dealing with it all. There are alot of moving parts to this whole book, and in some ways it’s because I know what is to come down the road. This is now another of my favorites from all of these series and can not wait to jump into the next story which I will be doing as soon as i’m done typing this review.

Targeting Dart – Wow this book had a lot!!..So much going on through the whole story that there’s no way I could sum it all up in this one review, Just know that these first 5 books of this series should absolutely be read in order..There are ongoing stories and issues being dealt with and Im afraid picking any of them up out of order will not give you what you need to fully appreciate everything.
Oh my goodness, Dart and Alex and this club, whew what a ride this was. Danger, heartbreak, fear, bylaw changes, betrayal, love, and a few scenes that totally blew me away and not in the best way. Then bring in Heart’s continued story and I’m literally emotionally wrecked! This author has no fear of tackling some tough scenes.Scenes that you just don’t normally have pop up in books, and if they do there are usually saviors rushing in, but she plays these out and it floors me. She has like a million books in all of the Satan’s Devils spread out through a few different chapters and cities and I just can’t figure out how she can have this many books and each one is so very different!

Heart Broken – I knew going in that this would be a tough book to read and oh how right I was.
I went from loving Heart, to hating Heart, to wanting to crawl through my kindle and smack Heart, then I wanted to Hug Heart, I was an emotional wreck while reading this. His story spans 3 books, well actually 4 if you count the novella that I’m buying today. Although there was again a whole lot going on in this story, this author found a way to tie up so many things and also somehow tie them all together even if just slightly.

I can’t find the right word to sum up this Author’s talent and give her the justice she deserves but if I had to pick one or two they would be Brilliant Perfection!

Manda Mellett is a master storyteller and I can confidently say that yes I’ve read a lot of MC books, and have loved many, but these are absolutely my favorites.

5 +++++++++ Stars

I am a true, true crime fan. I love watching true crime and I love to read Crime novels, this is my first read by this author and also my first true crime novel.

I will say there was a lot of information in this story, much of it was information I don’t feel I needed to fully appreciate the story. It was mainly the backstories of all the secondary and even third characters in the book. The information and facts that pertain directly to the crime though were written beautifully and I was able to keep everything organized in my mind.

I love true crime because I love the facts, the what if’s, and the is that possible things that need to be taken into account. This author did an amazing job and matched so many of my own reasonings throughout. The last chapter blew me away!! Never saw that coming and actually read the chapter beginning about five times to figure out what I was reading!! Well played!!!!

I am looking forward to reading more from this author and have already recommended this to a couple friends who like me are fascinated with how all this stuff plays out.

Highly Recommended!

Night Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 1) by India Kells

I loved this unique storyline. India Kells is a favorite of mine already, and this start to a new series had me hooked from the first chapter.

Orla is a noted Investigative reporter, she is trying to get to the bottom of a suspected Vigilante in her city. Another story falls on her desk and she decides to put the Vigilante on the back burner while she tries to figure out how to stop the distribution of a new drug in her city that has been known to kill people.

I love how the author merged Orla’s two stories together and watching these unfold had a lot of edge of your seat reading.

Although it did not end on a huge throw your kindle kind of cliff hanger, the story will continue and I can not wait to see how this all plays out.

This was a quick read which I was able to devour in one sitting and I highly recommend grabbing it.

I’m so confused. I don’t read these kinds of books on a normal basis, but something drew me to this and I’m so hooked right now wanting the second in this series like right now!

I’ll admit that since I haven’t read a lot of Fantasy, many of the terms were foreign to me. This in no way though took away from how much I enjoyed this story. It was short, I read it in about an hour but it felt like a full length novel full of all kinds of information that leads me to believe this is going to be an awesome series. Although it moved quickly, it never felt rushed. Emphasis was put in all the right places and it didn’t leave me wishing there was more except wanting the next.

I’ve read a couple stories by this author, and completely enjoyed them, which was one of the reasons I took a chance. I enjoyed the well placed humor in some spots that made me smile, then the edge of your seat action thinking in some spots maybe I knew what was going on, but completely unsure at the same time. I love the characters, Zariya was on a mission and she wasn’t about to be deterred from that. What she got while exploring this was all sorts of fun. I loved the underlying feel of a romance building, yet never fully forming..Yet? I loved the feel of friendship that was being tested and hope that all of that works out in the end. I loved the family feel as well and Auntie was definitely a favorite of mine. So although this didn’t end on a kindle throwing cliff hanger, there are so many questions I can’t wait to receive answers on.

Seriously..Grab this, it is truly an amazing book!

Let me start with saying I absolutely loved the first book in this series, and I seriously loved this one but, it’s been so long since I read the first that it took me quite a while to put everything in order again in my mind. Some things I never did get worked out so really wish I had read the first one again before starting this one. I will make sure to reread both of these before the next one comes out.

It was Book 1 that started my now love for Dystopian novels..These are written so well and feel so real, especially with our world in the state it is in right now. I love Troy and Jema, and many of the secondary characters. I truly felt as though I was fighting this battle with them throughout.

This is an awesome story, one that I completely connected with and can not wait for more of this series as well as from this author. I love her writing style and how when I start I don’t want to put the books down.

I would not try to read this by itself, there’s quite a few moving parts that start in book 1 and they are both fabulous reads!

Another amazing addition to this series. I have come to love this author and the writing style I’ve experienced in these books. This one had me paying attention with every word I read. It included everything I love in a story and took me through all sorts of emotions.

I think this might be my favorite of the three, the suspense had me on the edge of my seat and the twists, totally out of left field, I did have suspicions and thought I had a couple things figured out pretty quickly but the ride to the end I could have never predicted. I also love how there is just enough romance, just enough LOL moments and even a few that had me wiping my eyes.

I seriously loved this book and can not wait to revisit all 3 in this series and read them all over again back to back!

Grab it, heck grab them all, you will not be sorry!

Stage Mom gives us a mom fighting for her special needs daughter to be treated the same as anyone else, I have a special needs grandson and this one hit me square in the feels.

I loved how Larissa and Mateo weren’t these perfect 23 year old walking magazine covers, they were a bit older and written as real people.

This had some super tough spots for me, again I have a severely special needs grandson and this story was handled so beautifully, completely spot on and this made me love this book even more. Don’t get me wrong, there were some parts that made me want to crawl through my kindle and smack the heck out of a couple characters, but there were even more heartwarming moments and absolutely hilarious parts. I fell head over heels in love with Hailey from the start! I also once again love checking back in with many characters from earlier books

This was the perfect addition to this series, I’m praying that there is more to come from Rehoboth, a place I can see in my mind, a place I would love to visit! I can not wait to reread this whole series back to back on a quiet weekend!

Loved it!

Wedding War gives us the Hatfields and Mccoys feel with a child from each trying really hard not to like each other.

Jason and Hannah both run family businesses, their families have been at war for over 20 years and when a big time superstore moves into town threatening these family businesses these two must find a way to pull together if they have any hope of keeping their hometown businesses afloat. This makes for some of the best reading, the lol moments were plenty, the wondering what would happen next moments were plenty and watching these two trying to avoid their attraction was the best. This was one that had my hubby looking at me like I was losing my mind, trying not to laugh out loud sometimes is worse than just letting it go.

I loved this story, I think every one of them in this series become my favorite when I’m done, this whole series is amazing and this author is in a class of her own!!

Read them all seriously..they all could be read as stand alones but characters weave in and out of all the books and I just know you would want all of the stories!

This is my first read by this author, I have many of her others on my TBR list and decided to make this one my first, I’m in love with the cover, and in this case you can absolutely judge this book by the cover because it was simply amazing!

I also love when there’s a sweets shop / Bakery in the story, I don’t know why that is such a draw for me but it’s a comforting feeling and you know you’re about to get a sweet awesome story! I love the Greek roots in this story, and Egypt cracked me up!

“Well, isn’t he a bit of an a**,” Kally grumbled
“If you mean to say you’d like to bite his a**, I’m with you, girl”

Kally loves her “crazy” yet supportive, loving family, she loves her cafe The Coffee Klatch, and has awesome friends. Her heart has never healed from the pain of losing her first love and then finding out after losing him of the secrets that were revealed and causing her heart to break. She’s content now to never trust like that again! The mystery that was woven into this story grabbed me and made this one of my favorite books of the year..My heart was torn and I had no idea how this story would all play out. Max and his daughter both won my heart pretty quick and I can not wait for more in this series.

And Oh my Lord the recipes that I will be trying, and the addition of the aprons…Perfect!

All of this authors’ books have now moved up substantially on my TBR list!! Grab this..you will not be sorry!

I loved this author’s Jaded Lily series and can honestly say this one blew me away, it is now my favorite from this author. I love a story that feels real and this one met the mark. I adored these characters and a lot of their interaction throughout the book felt in so many ways like interactions I’ve had in my own life along the way.

This journey that Livy and Jeremy took me on in this book felt like deja vu in so many ways. Ive been married to my husband for 39 years this year and in some ways this story resembles my own, we were from 2 different worlds and had many trials through the years. I felt every emotion that was portrayed in this story, I cried and I laughed and Yes I wanted to throw my kindle a couple times. The miscommunication and taking things and each other for granted are major lessons that every married couple must learn. This story was written so beautifully, it showed the realistic side of love and marriage between two real people.

I loved Jeremy’s Mom and also Joe was a favorite of mine. This is an amazingly awesome story that I will absolutely read again and again and I can not recommend it enough.

Many thanks to this author for giving me another favorite book this year!

Oh my goodness am I enjoying this second generation series, this was a genius idea and of course this author makes it all fresh and new just like every other book she comes out with. I will say though that this just about broke me…I was ready to smash my kindle before I was out of the 1st chapter, you talk about an emotional roller coaster this was it! I feel so attached to ALL of these people and I’ve got the whole compound pictured in my head and I just can’t say enough about how much I love the Satan’s Devils, all chapters but this one holds a special place in my heart.

I never want any of this to end, I don’t care which way she goes, what new cities she chooses to stick a chapter, I seriously never want it to end. The snippet at the end of this one tells me we are headed to San Diego…Bring it on!! I can’t wait though to come back to the second generation, I need to see how the future has played out for Hawk and Liv.

If you want to get lost in one of the best MC series ever then start at the very beginning with Turning Wheels and dive in…You will not be sorry I promise, this author makes everything feel so real and transports you directly into the stories she writes!!

Enemies of Doves by Shanessa Gluhm

5 +++++ Stars. PHENOMENAL

Not sure where to begin! Is it really possible that this is this author’s first book?? This shocks me because this book felt like it was written by someone that has many best sellers under their belt.

I have managed to read this in one sitting, it wasn’t easy because it’s a Saturday and my only day off but once I started I COULD NOT put it down, and honestly with the world on lockdown what else did I have to do besides clean, do laundry, pay bills, ADULT? I am so full of emotions after finishing..I sat and stared thinking it all through and can’t figure out if I’m happy or sad. This should be a movie, I watched it all play out feeling like I was watching and I hated when it was over. I suspected a couple things not quite early on but later in the book because there were a couple statements made that made me think…whoa, wait a minute and I was right on one of those, but the other twists and turns blind sided me but made so much sense after I was finished. This author wrote in two different timelines, and this is something I normally do not like but I couldn’t wait to get back to each of them all the way through. This is a story of family and the bonds that hold those families together, and the lengths families will go to to protect those bonds. It’s about secrets and promises made, it’s about bad choices and Love, Anger, Jealousy, and a whole lot of Mystery and plenty of Suspense.

Not even going to try to touch on this story, you truly truly have to read it. It is probably one of my favorite books so far this year and I hope this author is writing right now because I can not wait to pick up another book by her and many more after.

Incredible Story!! Can’t wait to read it again!

This is my first book by this author and I’m not sure why. This was an awesome story written in a way that made it so easy and fun to read. I loved the very beginning and the interaction between Blair and Charli and also Blair and Ash. It was what grabbed me and kept me hooked. I do wish the back and forth would have gone on a bit longer, it all seemed too quick and easy but as I kept reading I forgot all about that.

This story held everything I love, suspense, love, romance, misunderstandings, danger, edge of your seat reading, Family, and one of my favorite parts..Friendship, real genuine friendship. All I know is if this book is any indication of this author’s writing style then I will be looking up everything available.

The first date about ruined me…I sat with tears because that was so out of this world amazing. I absolutely will be recommending this book and also see myself reading this again and again in the future.

Truly loved it and recommend everyone one clicking as soon as possible.

This is my first time reading anything by this author, and I love the writing style and the flow of these stories. These were seriously tough stories to read, but written so well and although I don’t have a lot of knowledge about these subjects I feel as though I understand them just a bit more after reading more about them. I imagine these two young women suffer from things that are a reality to people around the world, and my emotions were all over the place while reading.

The first novella dealt with a young girl Tess, who is dealing with Schizophrenia brought on by the death of her brother. My heart broke for Tess, she went through so much to deal with everything going on in her mind, tried everything to make it all go away. The guy she loves doesnt love her in quite the same way and bad decisions lead to something horrible happening.

I found myself pulling so hard for Tess, she truly was amazing and I wanted her so badly to find her way. I LOVED Ed and Monique in this story. They both genuinely loved Tess and she was so blessed to have great parents and a huge support system. I feel weird saying I loved this story but I did, it was very heartfelt and written with so much care.

The second Novella was even harder than the first, I had a really hard time with it and that stems I think from just not understanding the disease. My emotions struggled a lot during this one and although it ended as it should have it still made me really sad.

I will absolutely be looking for more books by this author. Although the subjects were tough they were written very well.

So for a debut novel this author has blown me away! From the unique storyline to the amazing character building, to the easy flowing words, and the amazing scenery I felt like I was looking at and smelling. I am so impressed.

It was written in a very simple style and literally made me feel like I was there. I could see the cabin and was on the trail with them at the very beginning. Not only all of the above but add in that I loved the story and read it in one sitting, I planned to go to bed and just start it to get a feel for it and ended up finishing it before I went to sleep because I could not put it down!

I loved Tiff in this story and can not wait to see where she fits in and how they all plan to handle her. She’s a spunky one so this could get seriously interesting. There are so many things going on towards the end that needing the next in the series is killing me, and I have so many questions that need answers. This shocks me somewhat because I don’t normally read shifters and I have no idea what adding in Fae even means but it doesn’t matter. I’ll figure it out because I will have the next the minute it is available.

I had a little issue with the first of this series as it felt like I stumbled through the words while trying to read to my grandsons. This one was so much better, the flow worked perfectly and I was actually asked to read it again. So big thumbs up from the littles.

This story had a great message and I just love the activities that come along with it. The boys really enjoyed this part and came up with all kinds of ideas I hadn’t even thought of. That was awesome!

I do recommend both books in this series, the first was still a great story and they both make the kids look beyond the growling dog and really seem to understand the messages.

Awesome Job!!

This is my second book by this author and I think I liked this one even more than the first, this is one of my chosen genres and I get so immersed in the story that I lose all track of time. I loved the suspense and danger that was a part of this story, and you could actually read this as a standalone but the first one gave a lot that helps understand parts of this story.

I Love Gen…she is strong and holds a position of power, and when her and Owen Teamed up it brought the story to a whole new level…. When someone you trust all of a sudden becomes someone you don’t know, it’s time to figure things out. This is when the story pulls in the fear and danger, twists, turns, and sitting on the edge of my seat…I read this literally in one sitting, I could not put it down and truly did not want it to end.

I loved Gen’s friends..that whole group was awesome and their bonds were tight and I love that in a novel!

I can not wait for the next in this series and I also can not wait to read all of these back to back all over again! This author is amazing and her stories are spot on!

I don’t know if I can explain why I loved this book so much. Maybe it was the unique storyline, and maybe it was the way the words flowed and I didnt want it to end, and it might have also been that there was none of the added fluff you get with some stories and every word mattered, and it also could have been because I don’t read these types of books normally but these authors had me hook line and sinker from the first page.

There was quite a bit going on throughout and there were a lot of moving parts in this book, which I also loved. I was so glad we got different POV’s throughout, I only wish there had been just one more. Would have loved knowing what was going through that mind.

I never even guessed where this book was going. I was actually on a whole different path until that path got completely blocked and these authors proved why they are the writers and I’m just a reader. I loved all of the characters and how they each had their little quirks, and I can not wait for more. That ending had me hitting my kindle saying “turn the page dang it”…I then spent about 15 minutes trying to find info on the next one, because I NEED IT NOW!!

This was just an all around awesome read. I read it in one sitting and may even read it again before the next one comes out!!

I must also mention how beautiful the cover is!!

Grab this today..It’s an incredible story!

I might have liked this one even better than the first, which is saying a lot because I really liked the first of this series, which also says alot about this author because I’m not really that crazy about this genre but when you have a character like Dylan and her snarky attitude I couldn’t help but get hooked. This author transported me right into the story and I enjoyed every second of it.

I love the way vampires and voodoo weaved through this story and where better than in New Orleans. Where better also to help Dylan realize there really is more going on than she realizes or wants to believe.

The ending was almost the end of my kindle and needing to get my hands on the next now is a must.

I can’t wait to read everything by this author. Awesome style and perfect flow of her stories.

I loved the first 3 books in this series, which if you haven’t grabbed yet you really should, they are all boxed up pretty like these 3 are, so 2 clicks you get 6 books…and worth every single penny.

KL Montgomery is an absolute favorite of mine. She is an amazing writer that will play on every single feeling you never even knew you had. The 3 books in this series are all perfect additions to Romance in Rehoboth, characters crossover and weave in and out of all the books. Some of my favorite reading is romantic comedy and that’s just one reason this series is a favorite, the writing style of the author is another. Her character interactions are spot on and none of these stories are completely predictable. I must say, each one of these is a favorite for one reason or another. Badge Bunny gives us the enemies to lovers story and that is always a no brainer for me. Wedding War gives us the Hatfields and Mccoys feel with a child from each trying really hard not to like each other. Then there’s Stage Mom, this gives us a mom fighting for her special needs daughter to be treated the same as anyone else, I have a special needs grandson and this one hit me square in the feels.

I’m so glad she has boxed this series, 2 clicks and I have some of the best reading and I can not wait to take a weekend and read them all back to back again. You can read any one of them as a standalone but don’t do that, I promise you will want them all after just reading one!

Will be buying all of these in paperback since I already have a spot saved for all of them.

Amazingly Awesome!

This set contains 3 books that sit up in my top 10 series list of all time. This is where I began reading this author’s work and fell in love pretty quick. I’ve since read her others and literally just wait for the next book she comes out with. Here is my breakdown per book in this series.

Georgia Clay –
This is my first book by this author and I have fallen in love!!! I am a country music fan anyway and have always wanted to take a week or two and tour Nashville, and this book made me want to make that dream come true even quicker.
Katie and Clay met in High School and he always had a crush on her yet never told her. They meet again at their 10 year High School reunion and their connection was immediate. I think I loved the most how they started with building their friendship and then it progressed into more. I also loved the long distance part of the story and seeing how although not easy it can work.
This was just an all around awesome book, and her character development was spot on even with the secondary roles.

Georgia On My Mind –
I Loved this book!! I loved the first one as well but I think this one is my favorite. You could absolutely read this as a standalone, but dont…The first one Georgia Clay is completely awesome and those characters are in this book as well 🙂
This storyline was amazing, you take 2 broken people who just want to be happy but can’t seem to escape their pasts and you have all sorts of emotions while reading. I had all the feels while reading this story and there were times I just didn’t know what was going to happen. Hart and Gia were both such great people yet made some not so great decisions that almost ruined their lives. Can they get past these and find hope, love and happiness with each other?

Georgia Pine –
WOW…This book deserves so so so many more stars than just the normal max 5!! I loved the first two in this series, they were fantastic, but let me just say that this one……. Oh.Em.Gee!! Holy Emotions, and WOW!!!
What can I say about Tim, well I can say without a shadow of a doubt that he is now firmly and forever in my all time top 5 book boyfriends. He stole my heart in the first couple pages and he never let go. I kept looking at my reading speed while I went along and kept saying to myself..slow down you don’t want this to end and that was right from the start because you can just tell when a book is going to affect you that way. Then it happened…at about 75% in…my heart took a beating for the last 25% of this book, now don’t get me wrong it was awesome all the way to that point, the buildup was written perfectly..but then the ugly, breath catching, nose blowing eyes swelling crying began. The emotions this author brought out through this whole book, yea I felt them all.
Seriously people…Read this series, I’m not even kidding…You won’t be sorry!

This author has become an automatic one click for me..Her writing style is spot on and the way her stories flow you just get started and then the next thing you know you’re done.

I already want to read them all over again…and again! I also want the paperbacks so this series can sit on my shelves next to the rest of my favorites.

WOW!!

I have fallen so deeply for Gio and Serena. Their story so far is full of so many moving parts and it’s not over yet. I just don’t know how Serena is still holding it together because her adventures in these books have totally worn me out. It must be love LOL

The action and suspense is nonstop and I felt like I was right there during all of it. That’s just how this author writes, she reels you in and then doesn’t let go even after you have read the last word, especially knowing there is more to come.

I had some questions after the 1st book and the ones that mattered were answered for me in this one. I love how so many characters we have met as far back as the first series are still weaving in and out as well as meeting some new characters along the way.

This was a perfect addition to this series and you might want to have a fan handy while reading.

As usual I can not wait for the next and if you have not read any of these books yet, look them up and go all the way to the start of all of these stories..I promise you will not be sorry!

AWESOME!!

This is absolutely my go to author now for any kind of crime, suspense fiction and actually any kind of genre. Her writing style is exactly what I love about reading and when I start one of her books I do not want to put them down or for them to end.

This book series could so easily be a TV series, while reading these books I can actually picture these scenes playing out and would love to add this to one of my binge lists LOL

This one had me all messed up, as per usual, I always think I can see what’s coming but then I realize why I’m just a reader. Petrosky is one of my favorite characters ever…He’s flawed, broken, and his inner dialogue makes me feel like I know him now. I absolutely felt all of his feelings dealing with the upcoming birthday of his daughter, and his interaction with Linda totally broke my heart. There is so much more than just solving cases when you read these books.

Not going into any more of this story, there’s a lot of moving parts in this book and every one of them are in perfect sync.

Read this series, seriously!! You won’t be sorry!! I can not wait to go back and read every one of them again.

This is my first read by this author and I loved it!!! I adore the off limits kind of stories, and the brothers best friend is one of my favorites.

This was an awesome book, it pulled at every emotion I had and these characters..every one of them, I fell head over heels for them. This was a unique story with a perfect story flow and the ending.. ** sigh ** Now I’m hoping Sam gets to tell his story in his own book..

I will absolutely be looking up more of this authors books, not sure why I haven’t already read them but that will be remedied soon.

Awesome Loved it!!

This was an amazing addition to this series. I absolutely love this author’s writing style and was sad when this story ended.

I was so excited to get a hold of this book. I loved Ben, although I don’t normally like any kind of rockstar stories this one was jam packed full of everything I love to read. The storyline was unique and touched on real issues that were handled perfectly.

One thing I love when reading series is being able to still get glimpses into the lives of our previous couples and that happened in this story, also the family aspect, which this one had in spades.

I can not wait to read more from this author, she has quickly risen up to my favorites list

Loved it and although a series this could be read as a stand alone although I would not recommend that because of how great the first 2 were.

One Click as soon as you can!

I’m seriously about out of words to use to review this author and this series. I love Crystal Rock, Wisc. and I want to live there!! It helps that Wisconsin is home to me and I want to move back there so badly, so reading all of these books is completely comforting to me. Even when they are filled with suspense and danger and edge of your seat kind of words, reading another is like coming home.

This can absolutely be read as a standalone, but there is so much that comes before and the return of so many characters scattered throughout makes it so worth reading the whole series, actually a couple different series that revolves around this town and these amazing people.

This one is full of danger and I love how there was no insta love between Ben and Samantha, with everything going on their growing connection felt even more real.

I love this series, and the writing style and imagination of this author is unmatched for these types of stories.

Do yourself a favor and one click them all!

5 +++ But deserves way more

This series has tore my emotions to absolute shreds, if you want to sit down and get completely immersed in a heart stopping story full of drama, love, heat, heartbreak, smiles, tears and mountain climbing then grab these 3 books which have been conveniently boxed together for you, find a quiet place, grab your drink of choice and grab a hold and hang on.

Mountains Wanted book 1 –
I have to say that this story was 99.99999999999% perfect, whatever percentage is left in that number is solely based on the fact that I have never wanted inside a man’s mind more than I wanted in this one. I’ve read a million books in my life and many are from just one POV and that’s ok and awesome, but this one for some reason I just needed to know what he was thinking. He felt like such a mystery to me. If I wanted anything more from this story that would have been it.
This story was so full of emotion and I felt it deep, I also feel like I won’t make it stopping to write this review, I need to jump in to the next NOW!

Mountains Climbed book 2 –
Oh Dear Lord this author is trying to kill me! I can not even with her right now!

One thing I wanted more than anything after reading the first of this series was to be able to hear from James and Oh My Word I got that in this part…I can not even imagine his struggle, the back and forth that was twisting his thoughts and emotions therefore twisting mine.

Then Sarah, Oh My Heart! While reading both of these books but especially this one her feelings jumped right off the pages and planted themselves in my heart…

Mountains Loved book 3 –
***sigh***

I have so many conflicting emotions with this book….I don’t think I have ever in all my years of reading wanted to crawl into a book and hit somebody upside the head as bad as I wanted to in this book. This is an ongoing story so please don’t try to read this as a standalone, there is so much substance you will be missing if you do that. I will not go into any detail regarding the storyline so as not to spoil anything from the first 2 books.
I have such a high respect for Sarah, i could feel the torment she went through at times as if it were me in the story, her strength to do what her head told her to do even though her heart was shattered was so brave, classifying her as one of the strongest people i have ever read
About.

One of my favorite series of all time…Please dont click past these books…They are simply Amazing!!

There is so much involved in this story that I don’t understand and don’t relate to, but I sincerely felt every emotion as if I did. I have grown to understand a little bit more after finishing because of the way this author explained the feelings being felt throughout. I have become completely invested in these characters, every one of them and was sad when i hit the end. I truly loved this book, the writing style of this author is unmatched and she has made putting the books down almost impossible. I very often love to go back and reread some of my favorites and I can not wait to do that with this whole series.

A Must Read…

FLOWERS IN DECEMBER TRILOGY: Flowers in December, Coming Home, Second Chance by Jane Suen

5 +++++++ Stars

This series is an absolute MUST READ..Jane Suen is a master storyteller who quickly became one of my favorite authors. I think I’ve read every single book she has out and will add to that as she does.

Flowers in December Book 1 –
I was able to feel every single feeling that Connor was feeling in this book. I lost my Mom just a few years ago and it changed my life. This story was as real as it gets, there was no added drama and major twists and turns, I did kind of feel like I knew what was going to happen but it was more like it was what I was hoping would happen, and I’ve let my imagination take over the rest.

Coming Home Book 2 –
I loved Flowers in December and at the end knew I needed more because something was happening and being implied and then it was done and my imagination took it from there. Many Thanks to Jane Suen for seeing this, and knowing that her readers needed more and then delivering.

So much was going on in this very short story but you never feel like anything was crammed in or get confused…She touched on many emotions and feelings and I’m just not going to give anything away so you will have to pick this story up, but please don’t start here, you must read Flowers in December first, this is where you will really get to know Connor Norton, and Tom.

Second Chance Book 3 –
Many many thank yous to this author for giving us this book. I loved the first 2 but was a bit sad with the end of the 2nd. I had no idea this one was coming and I was so happy when I saw it. This had to be one of the best book 3’s of a trilogy yet, I’m thinking because I wanted it so much!

I was a bit concerned with going back in time here and there through memories but found that it gave me a better understanding of who Mary Ann was. I loved the small town and this whole story felt so real, along with all the other feels you get from reading this last book in what is a wonderful series. I can’t wait to read it again back to back now that I have all three. 🙂

The one thing you dont do when you read any of this authors books is go in thinking you know how everything is going to go because she will show you the meaning of what a twist and a turn means and have you sitting there at the end going ..What just happened? She shows you that a twist doesn’t have to be explosive or a throw your kindle moment, she does it in a slow crawl where you have no idea it’s even happening.
LOVED THIS SERIES!!!

I’ve read many books by this author and I believe as far as sweet, this has to be the sweetest story I’ve read in a long time. I loved these characters and I love how many from other books pop up in when you least expect it.

I felt this story moved too fast and too easy and felt different than other books I’ve read by this author. Where a lot of times I think some books have too many details, I felt this one didn’t always give me enough. In saying that though I did love this story and will still read anything and everything this author writes.

You absolutely do not have to read these books in order but I recommend you do because they are all awesome and I love spending time in Crystal Rock, Wisconsin.

Awesome story!
