This is my first book by this author and I did enjoy reading it. I really liked the storyline and the characters grew on me as the book went on. I loved Bella and Cades first meeting and found myself laughing out loud during that scene. I really think the interaction between Bella and her Mom was my favorite part of this entire book!

Bella’s dedication to her students in this story was admirable and I felt her determination in fighting for what she believed in. I do wish there had been a bit more in the story about Jeremy, I would have liked to see more about his transformation while performing his community service. I would’ve loved his POV.

I do like how Bella and Cade’s relationship took time to grow, although there was an immediate attraction, it wasn’t acted on from the get go and I appreciated that, it helped me to get to know the two better and I felt as though I was able to invest a bit more in their connection. These two were both fighting loss and personal battles in their lives. My heart broke for Cade and I felt that story in my heart as I personally dealt with some of the same things he did in this book and I was forced to make decisions that were really hard to make.

I can’t wait to read more from this small town. Halloween was great but now would love a Christmas theme, Some of my favorite reads are from small towns and this author gave me that and made me want to go back for more.

I highly recommend this book, it moves fast yet smooth and I did read it in one sitting.

This is a gift from the world of Anthologies. Each story is short, and I was able to read a few new authors which next to reading favorites is one of my favorite things about an anthology.

Reviewing a couple of my favorites from the entire collection.

A Hole by Phoebe Alexander

5 Stars

This was a fun quick read and keeps you on your toes wondering what will happen next. It’s the first in a new series by Phoebe Alexander and I already can’t wait to read the rest of them, especially if it continues on with the different characters that are in this one. While I normally prefer a longer book with more meat to the story this one had everything needed to feel the connection that formed and also with the inner dialogue for each of the main characters I was able to understand each of them. I laughed out loud more than once while reading and really hope Ace and Ella show up in the next story as well so we can see how they are doing.

The Right Note by BREE KRAEMER

5 Stars

Awwww, this was such a sweet read, fast moving and I finished it in less than 30 minutes. Henry and Eliza and their story was awesome, although everything happened quickly it still felt as though I got everything I needed to feel the connection growing between these two. I loved the relationship between Eliza and Nathan and laughed out loud during their conversations. I would have loved a longer story with these two but am happy with what I got. I love Bree Kraemer and will always be one of the first in line to read her books

Do yourself a favor and one click this collection of amazing short stories. You will be glad you did.

Whew! Took me a bit to get my thoughts together on this newest installment of the Satan’s Devils. Started a bit slow for me which was a shock because normally I’m done and hooked after the first page, but I’d say an eighth of the way in I was completely invested. Then by the end I realize this is now one of my favorites from the many books in this series that spans a few cities and charters.

Not gonna lie, there was a scene that had me putting my kindle down and having to walk away for a while. It made me need to focus on something else to get my mind off of what I’d just read. By the time I picked it back up I was plotting and planning right along with them to have a few people meet Satan. Serious respect for this author’s ability to get through that part of writing this story.

I loved Grumbler, and equally loved Mary, and Alicia became one of my favorite people towards the end. There were so many things I loved about this story. The family aspect of the club came through loud and clear and bringing in Utah was genius and I feel absolutely needed in that ongoing storyline. I feel a building of that open storyline coming and can’t wait to see how that plays out.

I wanted an epilogue a few months ahead at the end of this so bad, I kept trying to turn the last page and nothing… I so hope we don’t have to wait very long, I need to know how it all turns out.

Once again I finish a Manda Mellett book and wonder who is next, what charter will it be and realize I don’t care…I just need it now!

Awesome story, awesome characters, there are so many books but reading them all gives you the whole of this amazing MC…That is my goal someday to start and go all the way through rereading every single one!

This author continues to blow me away with her words and the imagination she puts into her storylines. She has taken a genre I normally avoid and has me glued to my kindle wanting to know what happens next. Every book I finish of hers has me anticipating the next. Her character building is phenomenal and has me connecting and completely understanding those I’m reading about.

This book was no exception, something else this author does better than many is take a story and cut out all the dragging, all the descriptions I dont need of surroundings and such and puts a pace on it that I personally love and appreciate. It’s a fast paced story, but one that is never hard to follow. I love that she is not scared to do this.

I loved Delilah! Her no nonsense inner dialogue, her strength, and her quest to just get away and relax, also that small soft side she doesn’t even realize she has. Her life in the city leaves no room for down time and I could feel how much she needed that. The dedication of this book describes Delilah perfectly! Then add in her supporting cast, Malakhi was a little harder to read, but as the book went on I found myself understanding him better. Caspian and Sheridan absolutely cracked me up, their comebacks and then the pranks were awesome.

This story had it all. There was drama, danger, twists and turns, Demons, Hunters, witches, fallen angels and even a nix and a shifter to keep me completely engrossed in this story. I Loved the ending, it left me wanting the next as soon as possible, and also left me wanting to know more about Malakhi and his history.

I can’t recommend this book enough, I can’t recommend this author enough. I am one of her biggest fans and will read whatever she chooses to write!

So i seriously loved this book, it wasn’t anything like I thought it was going to be, and I could not put it down. This doesn’t surprise me since it’s not my first book by this author. I’ve loved everything I’ve read so far.

Malerie…Sigh….. My heart broke through most of this story for this young girl that just turned 18. Not going to give away any of the storyline but I was so completely invested in her and when she came out with her sassy spunk I fell in love with her.

Along comes Ace who is hired to protect her, and seeing as he plays a part in a pivotal moment in the beginning of the book he is as wrapped up in this story as ever. Whether he likes it or not..

I had some suspicions through a few parts and then questioned my suspicions until the very end. This author has such a way with weaving her stories that you really never know what will happen next. I stayed pretty confused regarding some of the codes and such on the boxes but that did not sway me in any way from loving every single thing about this book. I loved the friendship between Malerie and Collin and although a small part I loved his part in this book and can not wait to read his story in the next of this series. I’m hoping we will still get to check in with Malerie and Ace as well.

Awesome book, I highly recommend reading it!

This is my second book by this author and I loved this one as much as I did Forgetting Ophelia. The stories kinda intertwine and to get the full effect this book should be read first, but that’s just my opinion..It really does work either way.

I could not put this book down while reading. There were a lot of moving parts and a lot of deep emotions running through this story. I love the multiple POV’s, sometimes this does not work for me but in this author’s case it is done perfectly. There was so much pain that came with all of these characters but this made the healing process that much stronger all the way through, and not just for Jake and Addie but friendships and family relationships were as strong in this story, I loved this and so many times I sat with tears rolling down my face that I didn’t even realize were falling. I became invested in all of these characters straight away and I credit this author for that. Addie’s Moms story was unfolded beautifully and caught me totally off guard, explaining many of the questions I had throughout. She has an amazing talent for grabbing you and not letting go till the final word has been read.

You really must read this book, it will make you want to grab the next immediately and although I had already read it, I wanted to read it again.

Loved it and have added to my read again list!

5 ++++++ Stars

I loved this book so so so much! I’ve said this before but Judy Moore is my go to for cozy mysteries. These characters, especially Scratchoff..Absolutely a favorite of mine. Beck is someone I want to be friends with, I want to rent a room at Beach Reads and be her BFF, LOL

I usually suspect I know who did what in these books, In more times than not I’m completely wrong but I always try. This author always messes with my head and once again I had no clue…I think it crossed my mind once but quickly dismissed itself and I was on a whole different track. Then that ending….it had me asking myself….What would I have done?

This author has such a way with weaving her words into a smooth flowing story, one that I never want to end. I love what is and even what isn’t going on with Beck and Devon and I’m praying that there’s a future book planned involving more of Lizzie and of course much more interaction between Scratchoff and Grammy.

You can absolutely read this as a standalone, but I’m so glad I didn’t, there are a couple books I’d recommend reading before this one just to get everyone’s history and why they are so special in this book!

Bring on The Tennis Pro, I can not wait!!!

AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!!

Can not believe that this series is coming to an end. I think back to all the stories I can remember and it gets a little confusing along the way. I read them out of order and although each is a standalone I would highly recommend starting at the beginning.

This is not my chosen genre but found myself interested enough to complete each one, this one might have been my favorite of all of them and I think it’s because I could relate to Clíodhna more being a Mom and even though different time frames in history, I could feel the strength that she had to pull from to make some of the choices she was forced to make. I can’t imagine.

This was an awesome end to this series, and I do hope someday to go back and read them again from the start. This author’s ability to describe the scenes and the scenery many times had me feeling like I was there, and made me want to visit these places.

I can imagine if this is your chosen genre that this series would absolutely be sitting at the top. I can say that this author has an amazing way of telling a story and I will continue to follow her and her future writings.

Stephanie Queen is definitely a favorite author of mine. If you have not dug in to her Beachcomber Investigations series, you simply must! I picked this set up because of the author and I’m somewhat shocked that I loved it as much as I did as I’m not really into the sports genre, but as usual this author pulled me in and didn’t let go.

This box set contains 3 books about 3 different couples. Each one can be read as a standalone but reading them all gives you the best experience.

You get everything you could want in these books. An enemy to lovers, a second chance, and what I would call a forbidden romance. Each one has its own level of heat, sweetness, drama, and I lost count of how many times I laughed out loud while reading this set.

Once again this author reinforces how I feel about her writing style and the flow of her books. Beachcomber will forever be my favorite series by this author but this one will run a close second.

Pick these up, you will not be sorry!

Although I did love this book and the characters I had a small problem with never really connecting with them, I wish the book had been longer and more time spent on the building of the relationship so that I could have felt the bond between the two. It just happened a bit too fast for me and touched on being predictable.

Now in saying all of that, I loved the writing in this story and Sydney surprised me, I loved her strength and resolve by standing by what she expected from Quin and a relationship. That was definitely different than a lot of other female leads and although I love them all, Sydney might just be up in my favorites.

I Love this author’s books, and even though this might not be my favorite I still completely enjoyed it and would definitely recommend reading it. I was invested in both of these characters, and everything they dealt with felt real, I just wish there had been more.

Can not wait for more from this author!

I so completely sincerely loved this book. It had a comfortable flow to it and I hated when it ended. After it ended and I thought about reading I was sad that I couldn’t open my kindle and go back into Harleigh’s world. I really can not wait to read this again in the near future.

My heart broke for Harleigh at the beginning of this story, and her family put it back together for me in the love and support they gave her. I was totally invested in this story about the time she arrived in Bulgaria. First I fell in love with the little town she was staying in and felt like I was there with her in the way this author described everything. Giovanni Russi might very well be up there in my favorite male leads… He was simply amazing even with his understandable trust issues. Then Lucca…Sigh…Harleigh was so blessed to meet these 2 and I can’t say enough about how these relationships were naturally born. They weren’t rushed and felt real in how they progressed both in different ways and for different reasons.

Towards the end as the twists and turns really blew up there were a few scenes that took my breath away and I had tears without even realizing.

I can not recommend everyone picking up this book enough, this was my first read by this author but I promise it will not be the last.

Many thanks to KM Lowe for an amazing story!!

This is this author’s first book and I really enjoyed it, it came with all the emotions and sweetness I love in a book. The writing style was smooth and super easy to read.

I loved the characters and getting to know them, sometimes though I forgot how old they were as some of the parts made it seem they were older than they really were. That did not take away from the story though and I loved how they met and her best friend Toby was awesome!

This was an all around sweet read, I like that it didn’t jump into being an insta love type relationship and I was able to watch it grow.

I loved it and can’t wait to read more from this author!

I finished this memoir 3 days ago…I can sincerely say it has not left my mind since completing it. I have been trying with all I have to figure out how to put words together to write a review for it. I will start by saying that without any doubt this is not just my favorite book of 2020 but is absolutely one of my top 5 of all time.

It all started Friday when I knew I had a few minutes and it was the next book on my kindle to read, I thought ok I’ll pick it up and start it and then planned to dive back in that evening when I was done with my day. Well, that plan went by the wayside 1 page in…

I was so engrossed in this authors story that when I say I read it in a little under an hour and a half I mean i didn’t walk or move without reading it…The world around me completely disappeared and I found myself seated next to this author experiencing the adventure she was taking me on. I am in awe….I was before reading this completely invested in the Code Raven series, which by the way I will be reading with a whole new appreciation when scenes include Luke, my favorite character, but after reading this and being invited inside the life of this amazing author im completely invested now in anything and everything this author writes.

There are many places throughout this book that I have bookmarked, many many words to live by that this author shared with us. I came away from this truly thinking about my life and how I live it. Happily married for 39 years and we still have many dreams to fulfill, this author has made all of that seem possible for us.

I loved Reading this story, and already want to read it again, but first I have more that I need to go one click by this author!

and..She did it again! When I tell you you need to pick up all of the series that are associated with these characters I’m not kidding. Too much history and characters tightly woven together to miss out on the whole of these stories.

I loved this one as much as I loved the rest, I picked it up planning to just get it started and then ended up not doing anything I had planned because I had to finish it. Again, I was on the edge of my seat because you truly didn’t know what was coming on the next page. There was a definite heat factor between Gio and Serena, but that wasn’t the main focus and I appreciated that. I loved Serena’s strength and her determination to be heard in this book. She was a definite handful and that made for some smiles mixed in with the drama and the danger that was surrounding her. I think my favorite part was the family aspect of this story, dysfunctional in many ways but in the end family, acceptance, and forgiveness prevailed. This happening was awesome to watch play out.

There are so many more stories you can see happening while reading this book and I can not wait to read every one of them. I am totally invested in this whole series and it is an absolute must read. This author has a way of weaving her words and these stories where they just grab a hold of you and hang on.

I LOVED it and can not wait for more, I’m a definite forever fan of this author!

I can’t even find words to describe how much I love this series. Not sure if it’s the characters and how they’re written, or their dialogue, or the storylines, or the fact I cant put the books down while I’m reading them. Even the drama and the edge of your seat danger has me completely hooked. I love Karina and have always said I want to be her friend and her sidekick in how she just falls into stuff and how she maneuvers her way through it all. Also, who knew Mrs Thundermuffin had so much more to her? I just loved this book so so much and it was a perfect addition to a favorite series from a favorite author. I seriously can not wait for a cold winter day to sit and read all these over again.

I just know this can’t be the end of this series, too many things left unanswered…Silverthorne Security being just one. I love these guys and how they “handle” Karina, this always makes me smile and a lot of time laugh out loud. Then there’s Mike…. I love Rodrigo, and his friendship with Karina is one of my favorite parts of these stories.

I truly just don’t know what to say except pick this series up..each I suppose could be read as a standalone but trust me when I say don’t do that… There’s history to these characters you absolutely don’t want to miss.

I LOVED IT and can not wait for more!!

I am so upset, This is book 9 and I’ve only read book 4 before this. I swore I’d read them all before the next came out and I didn’t yet…This series is going at the top of my list to get read…I love love love these characters, its weird that after only reading 2 of the series I still am able to feel a connection to all of them, this for me is a sign of an awesome storyteller. I truly though need to have the complete history of this cast of characters. I feel such loss when reading things I should know about and don’t. Will have this completed by the end of this year.

I have a serious girl crush on Felicity, she is everything I know I could never be. The connection between her and Conor is out of this world beautiful. I could never see myself handling things the way she did in this book. My heart literally broke for Conor because you could almost feel his pain and confusion through the words written.

The journey this story took me on was like no other, and I enjoyed every single second of it from the places to the experiences, the laugh out loud moments and the deep conversations. Realizing what life really means for each of them. Finding what they each were missing and wondering the whole time, who is really helping who here. I love that this author made this a new generation / old generation coming together to teach each other very valuable life lessons. I also love that we get so many different POV’s throughout…I remember that being a favorite of mine in Book 4. I also loved the emotions that were brought about in this book.

I can’t recommend this book enough, I do however recommend starting at the beginning, don’t do what I’ve done, these characters are so tightly woven together you will want so much more as I do!

Can not wait for more and will absolutely be ready when the next one comes along 🙂

LOVED IT!!!

This was a quick one sitting read. I truly love this author and have read many of her books. I’m not normally a big fan of any kind of books that revolve around sports which is why I was almost hesitant to pick it up, but then I thought twice about it because..I mean…It’s Tarrah LOL

I’m so glad I gave this a shot. I laughed out loud a few times and really loved the whole concept of this story. Grant and Emily were awesome and I loved the bond that they formed, but is this bond enough to get them through when secrets start to come out?

The only reason I gave this book 4 stars is because I just wanted more, what I got was awesome so no complaints there, I just would have loved it if the book was longer. I love this author’s writing style and I’m in kind of a book slump right now and this was just what I needed to actually feel what I was reading.

Seb and Zen were awesome, their back and forth was a lot of fun and the drama that came with everything was enough to make the feelings feel more real. I truly had no idea how it would all turn out till the very end and that in my opinion is what makes this an awesome read.

I enjoy this author’s writing style and will definitely read more in the future, I highly recommend picking this book up, it was awesome

This is my fourth read by this author and so far I think this is my favorite. It was predictable yet enjoyable getting to the final pages. I loved the concept of this book and loved that I smiled and laughed almost all the way through. I loved the family aspect, Penny’s sisters were so much fun and their bonds strong, and I loved their names. Geo’s bond with his sister and nephew touched my heart through the whole book.

There was just enough history given between Penny and Geo to be able to understand where each was coming from in their feelings for each other. The different avenues they went on for their stories were each a lot of fun to watch and a few quite funny!

This was a one sitting read for me and I sincerely enjoyed every second of it. I loved both of these characters and couldn’t wait to see how it all ended.

It was awesome and I loved it!! Highly recommend!

Once again another Tamara book that I have fallen in love with. This one had a unique storyline that leads you to believe one thing that seems obvious yet turns into not obvious at all and much more complicated.

This story almost felt personal to me, first because it is set near my hometown and even mentions things that I actually know about. It also has 2 main characters named Ashley and Brian. I read this on the exact day of my daughter Ashley and her husband Brian’s anniversary. So that was kinda weird in a way.

I don’t even have words to describe this authors’ books anymore, I feel like I’ve said them all in other reviews. She’s an automatic one click for me and always will be, no matter the topic. Her books just make me feel comfortable because when i pick them up I know I’ll feel like I’m home !

I truly loved this story and hope you will pick up this series which does not have to be read in order to follow but read them regardless, they are all amazing!

And yet another totally different take on The Satan’s Devils MC. Every book has something that makes it stand out from all the others, this one though did that with not only the book but the new break off series, a different chapter. I gotta say I was so worried about the 1st part of this story, would I get invested in this chapter? Well I did, and really quick once I started figuring things out. Even though every book has its own difference, and every chapter their own stories, one thing always remains the same..The Satan’s Devils MC is a family and I absolutely love them all!

This one had me so invested that even when I put it down to do “real life” things, I couldn’t get it off my mind. I had no clue how this was all going to play out and I literally was scared to death at reactions from all over the chapters. The end of the last book I read in this series had me curious about some names I hadn’t heard before, and they were somehow involved in “stuff”. Yea, involved doesn’t even describe it LOL

I’m seriously afraid to say too much because this book needs to be experienced with no knowledge of what is going on. Just know that this is Road’s story, and what a story it was, I had so many emotions just trying to figure out what he should do and how he should do it and I was a complete mess. I was most worried about 1 person’s reaction, and could almost feel that explosion coming through my kindle.

I’m done, I can’t say anymore, I’m just hoping that returning to UTAH doesn’t take too long and I’m praying it’s going to be about who I hope it is. So many questions there and need to know his future.

Loved it, and if you haven’t picked up any of these books you really are missing out!!

Well there goes that relaxing fishing trip… One phone call and those infamous “Can I count on you?” words take Jake and Cody from a relaxing Alaskan fishing trip to a race to save the world.

This one hit close to home, with all going on in our world today there were more than a few times I sat thinking about things I had just read. The action and suspense was vintage Mark Nolan, I love this series. The progression of these characters, even the secondary has been amazing to watch. I was worried about Jake and Sarah as they have been written to this point but there’s always hope and this installment gave that to me. Cody is with no doubt one of my favorite characters ever. Every time I pick a book up in this series I pray because God forbid anything happens to our Cody!

You can absolutely read this as a stand alone but don’t. You really get to know these characters by reading the books before and why not? It is an amazing series and this author hits each one out of the ballpark. I read this in one sitting because putting it down was impossible!

So excited when I saw there’s another coming…I can not wait!!

AMAZING!!

It Comes from Within (House of Valdis Book 2) by Naomi Valkyrie

I must mention before anything else that this genre is NORMALLY not my chosen genre, but this author has taken this to a new level for me and I’m so invested in this whole story and in all of these characters to a point that I already want to go back and read all again. Real life didn’t exist while I read this book. It was leftovers for supper and less sleep than normal. Phenomenal job!!

There are a lot of people to keep track of in this book, a lot of moving parts to keep straight. What Miss Valkyrie did with the different chapters and the many different POV’s allowed me to connect to each character in a way that made this story that much better for me. I was so engrossed in every page that I did have to force myself to slow down so that I could keep everyone and everything compartmentalized. Once I did that and focussed on every word it was, simply put, completely amazing.

This part picks up a little bit after book 1 ended and I’m not going into too much of the storyline because I will not give away anything that will take away the enjoyment of experiencing this story except to say…I would NOT attempt reading this as a standalone, it wont work. You wont understand some of what happens or feel the impacts without book 1. I’ve sat and thought about who my favorite character is next to Xen of course and I can not come up with a favorite besides maybe Matt, he makes me smile. I just love the family feel and the loyalty portrayed in this story.

I can not wait for the next book in this series, the twist in this book was a complete game changer for me and the path Xen has decided to take could make things even more interesting.

Accountability (Scope of Practice Book 3) by Jessica Aiken-Hall

This has become a favorite series and one that I’ll be rereading sometime in the future. It’s twisted just enough to have me completely hooked!

I love this author’s writing style and her character building, I find myself completely invested in Valerie and that happened in book 1. She has always taken on everyone else’s problems and in her own way has always figured out how to fix them, or has had someone fixing them for her without her knowledge. You truly must read these in order to get the whole picture, there’s a lot and stories have continued throughout all 3 books which would make it impossible to not read them all in order.

They are the kind of reads you pick up and don’t put back down till you’ve finished. They are the kind of reads that twist and turn when you are least expecting them and there is absolutely no predicting anything. It seems this might be the last book, although I hope not, but was tied up and completed perfectly! Not going into any details since these books link together and would be too afraid of giving something away. I was totally shocked at some things that happened and felt so bad for Valerie in many places. I can’t imagine!

Read these all…They are amazing! I can not wait for what this author brings next!!

This is my first read by this author and i thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a one sitting read for me and although sleep was calling I could not put it down until I finished.

The flow of this story was perfect and every word needed throughout. The character building was amazing and Liam and Autumn were awesome from their first, or maybe their second meeting. The build up from page one while following Autumn had me completely invested in what she had been going through and where she was going, the complete why of it all came a bit later and threatened to ruin what Autumn had been working towards.

I loved the dialogue between Autumn and Liam, and I also loved a couple of the other characters, and of course a couple others brought out the complete opposite feelings.

This is a great story, very quick, smooth flowing and it keeps you on the edge of your seat just enough to want to know what happens next. I would recommend this book to friends and also am really looking forward to reading more by this author.

Loved it!

I’m not even sure what else I can say about this author… She has a way with her words that grab me at the beginning of every book she writes and I find myself so invested in her characters and even her descriptions of the surroundings make me feel as though I have transported right there. Cold Creek is my favorite and I so so so want to live there. I’m so thankful we got one more story in Cold Creek and still got a little of the magic the town gave me in A Sun so Bright with Fiona and Chris still being present.

*sigh*

Mac and Nicky… I met Nicky in A Sun So Bright also and hoped she would get her own story and holy moly what a story it was. I love everything this author does but I must say I think this one just might be my favorite, it all started with me singing the dedication…i was lost in the story before reading the first word. I love Scotland and everything that implies, so Mac was an instant love. The emotions this book brought out were both awesome and heartbreaking and I found myself reading at times with tears I didn’t even know were falling. I also laughed out loud at one of the scenes totally imagining it in my mind, scared to death that that one would come back to haunt them later, not realizing there was something much bigger at play.

The connection in this book between Mac and Nicky was instant in a way that made me feel like it could happen that way, it didn’t feel rushed, it felt real. A Lot transpires, can this young relationship stand a chance?

Read anything and everything you can from this author… This series is a definite must read for me and will also be sitting on my bookshelf in the very near future!

Loved it!!!

I could not wait to get my hands on this book. I have loved this series since book one and love the ongoing story. You really must read these in order to get the whole dynamic of what exactly is happening, and what has happened.

This one would have caught my attention no matter whether I read them all or not, the synopsis had me totally invested in how this author was going to handle this story! I was not disappointed in any way, but that’s no surprise because she always handles everything she writes with nothing short of perfection.

I loved Catriona and Liam. I connected with both of them straight away and their stories both touched me. This was full of everything I have come to expect from this series, the story kept up the flow from the other books and kept the main point going strong even though this one starred 2 different characters. It was full of suspense, danger, super hot steamy romance, love, and the ongoing task of taking down the one person each of these brothers have in common.

I absolutely can not wait for more, I can’t wait to see how this story ends but I don’t want it to ever end LOL The Epilogue makes me very curious!

Do yourself a favor and read all of these..They are amazing!!

Whew!! Petrosky is back and with a bang. I love this guy, even as broken and messed up as he is I love him!

This case made me truly cringe and I’m thinking that is exactly what this author wanted. That part of the story is as usual everything you expect from this author, but the part that has me completely invested is Petrosky fighting his demons every minute of every day. It feels so real and I can almost feel his struggles within myself. This to me makes a good author a Phenomenal author. I never want this series to end and was so so happy to see a #9, but I must admit I can’t wait for it to end so I can sit and read every one of them back to back all over again!

If you have not picked up any of these and you even kind of like this genre, you seriously must read this series. It is in a class of its own and this author can write like nobody’s business and I would put her up against any of the big names you associate with this genre!

Loved It!!

YES!! I was so excited to get my hands on this short but packed full of everything I didn’t even know I needed after reading the 1st of this series. I wasn’t even completely aware of all the questions I had after reading The Rise of House Valdis. What I really liked was that even though this comes before that part it worked perfectly reading it after.

This is a super short story but didn’t feel that way. I think I read it in about 15 – 20 minutes but the content made it feel like a full length novel. It was so easy to get lost in, I had to slow down my reading. It was intense and I could almost see it all happening, I loved that remembering back to the 1st book I always wondered when Xen’s inner dialogue would mention Urd, Now I understand.

Normally I would say I needed more, but in this case the time jumps were perfect and it gave me everything I needed with none of the unneeded fluff. I can not wait for book 2 of this series and I might even read this and the first again before that.

Awesome story, awesome series and this author is simply amazing!! She has taken a genre I don’t normally choose and has made me completely anxious for the next!

I’ll start by saying that this author crept up on me while reading her Southern Promises series, which if you haven’t read go one click right now. There’s something about her style, and the way she handles character dialogue and describes just enough of the scenes around the characters, and the characters that make me feel like I’ve literally crawled into the books she writes. I enter a comfort zone when I open one of her stories and then lose all track of real life and then sit in sadness when I finish. If I haven’t stressed it enough this author is absolutely one of my favorites ever. Completely Amazing!

This story was no different as far as how much I loved reading it, it was kind of awesome though hearing about familiar towns and highways as I lived up there, just a bit north of Cumming, but my brother and his family still reside in Cumming! That made it all feel even more real and familiar. There was one part where I wanted to shout a few shortcuts I know of, as I was saying Nooooo do not get on 400!! LOL

The added suspense and edge of my seat reading was a complete surprise to me, it had me all messed up and the emotions afterwards were so hard. I fell hard for Sam and Casey and loved their story, as well as Gwyneth. I wanted to hug her so tight, but another player in this book won my heart pretty quick as well and that was John! This story weaved so much love, loyalty, bonds between sisters, danger, suspense, and heart pounding moments, you really don’t want to miss out. I can’t recommend it high enough!

I will have all of this author’s books sitting on my bookshelf as when I reread them all I want them in my hands.

LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!
