This author has such a great way of making you think about things. Harry is such a great character and I love going on these journeys with him to discover himself.
This is the second book in a series of three. It’s so enjoyable to learn about Harry’s lives and journey. He is such an endearing character. Just like the first one this one is filled with twist and turn.
This book has a very interesting spin on life. I love to see the developing relationship between Harry and Tristan. It’s interesting to see Harry as a spider also. This book is one of those that makes you think. It draws you in from the very beginning and then keeps you guessing and wondering what if through tout the whole book.
The Traveler series has been amazing from the start. So much depth and thought-provoking circumstance. Book 3 answers so many questions, and allows us to see the strength and growth of Harry. As he embraces his new abilities and works to control them we also see the difficulty that continues to follow him. I had many moments this book took me on an emotional ride, but kept me so excited.

This third book in the series was even more interesting than the first two! Not all series maintain the momentum throughout the entire series. Not once did I lose interest reading this series. I love the friendship that Tristan and Harry have. Harry is such an in depth character and is very well written. I love that you get to know his back story even more and he discovers more of himself. I really enjoyed the suspense of not knowing where the author would take us especially when a new character is introduced. Things definitely take some unexpected turns but they really made the story! I look forward to reading more from this author!

In Book Three of The Traveler Series, we continue to follow Harry, a highly intelligent ancient being who has transformed into many shapes over the millennia and traveled the universe. Each shapeshifting experience brings him more power and knowledge. During each transformation he goes into a period of stasis which for him is quick, but for the humans in his life take years. After his most recent shift he made his way back to Tristan after being gone for five years. His new configuration is a surprise to Tristan who takes a bit to adjust to Harry’s new form. It is a whole new experience for Harry as well as he learns how to navigate the emotions as well as the new dangers and obstacles he faces in his new form.
This book was an interesting sci-fi book with a time traveling twist. The characters were wonderful and the relationship between Tristan, Elena, and Harry was heartwarming and adorable. I loved how Harry is able to transform into different forms and travel through time. It was like reincarnation with a twist which fascinated me. I loved the twist the book took at the end as we watch Harry emerge once again. This book was entertaining, imaginative, creative, thought provoking, and engaging. It was packed full of action, danger, mystery, suspense, and time travel.

This is the 3rd book in The Traveler Series. Although this book could be read on its own I highly recommend you read the first 2 books so that you get a complete picture about who Harry is and his place in our world. This is a sci-fi fantasy adventure revolving around Harry and his adventures. Harry is a Traveler, he is an ancient being who has lived thousands of lifetimes in one form or other. Everytime he wake he is in a different form and has new challenges to face. In this story he is reunited Tristan. We see the bond between Harry and Tristan grow but as well as the relationships Harry had growing stronger there is also a danger out there and this danger puts Harry’s entire existence in jeopody. This is a fast paced adventure that I couldn’t put down. I loved reading as Harry learns about new things such as music and phones his sense of wonder was amazing. The author does a great job of weaving time travel, adventure, and danger into the story. One thing I loved it that it isn’t a story that you read and know nothing like that could ever happen. Harry’s character is so believeable that I found myself wondering if such ancient souls could exist and survive in our world?
An awesome way to continue the series. The author did an amazing job with the characters, settings, and plot of the book. I was mesmerized once again. I am a fan of the author’s writing style. It grips you from the first page. I highly recommend this book.

The Traveler: Book 3 is the third book in The Traveler series. I’d highly recommend reading the books in order to get to know Harry and Tristan from the start of their relationship, and hear more of Harry’s backstory.
This is an enjoyable and original speculative fiction series. Harry is a unique creature who has been around, in some form or another, for a very long time and observed much of human history. He is intelligent and powerful but also vulnerable and must occasionally undergo a long period of stasis which leaves him with a new form.
In book 3, Harry is just emerging from stasis so we see him adapting to the changes he has undergone, and Tristan and Elena adapting to having Harry back in their lives again. And, of course, it’s not long before there’s new trouble and danger they need to get themselves out of…
This book gets five stars from me! I’d recommend it to fans of comedy sci-fi/fantasy with familiar domestic settings. The whole series is an entertaining and thought-provoking read!

The Traveler: Book 3 by Deborah Dugan. This is not my favorite genre but reading this series has changed my thinking on sci fi. I truly have loved this series. I do believe you need to read these books in order to fully understand and enjoy all the different facets. Harry is a “Traveler”, which is someone who has traveled many places and taken on many beings. In this book we find Harry as a Asian Mantis and he’s trying to find his way back to Tristan. Harry remembers every place he’s been and all the things he’s been so he uses all that information to help him daily. Wanting to find Tristan’s garden {his happy place} so that he can plan on what to do next he finds himself again in grave danger. Will Harry make it thru this being or will this be the last being he has become? This book is full of time travel, mystery, suspense and sci fi. Do yourself a favor and read this series today!
It was lovely to read this book and connect with the characters again. This the third book in the series and they are all so good. I am really enjoying watching the development of the characters over thr series, learning more about them each time. The author has a really interest and thought provoking writing style. Thrbstorybseems to flow effortlessly and keeps you.attention with ease. I thought this book was a great addition to the series. I enjoyed watching everything unfold and couldn’t wait to read more. I sm looking forward to the next instalment.
Book three of this series is by far the best in my opinion. I previously read book two and was unable to put it down, but while reading this one, I found that I did not want to step away from the pages, not even to sleep.
My love for sci-fi was definitely a driving factor in me picking up book number three of this series and continuing the adventures of Harry. Harry is a unique character with a lot of personality. He has lived many lives in many different forms or what he calls configurations. He’s lived in many different time frames as well. The things he has witnessed and experienced makes for an interesting background for this character.
When we last left Harry, he was a fuzzy and loveable tarantula who awoke from stasis and dealt with the trials and tribulations of trying to survive within his new configuration. Book three finds Harry once again in a new configuration, this time as a giant Asian mantis. He tries to find his way back to Tristan who constantly worries about Harry and his well being. I swear Harry is a danger magnet!
New characters are introduced, and the previous characters continue their roles, such as Tristan and his love interest, Elena. The suspense build up in this book surpasses the levels in books one and two.
I think if you have read books one and two prior to this one, you will find yourself uncovering answers to questions you may have had lingering from the previous books. Once you connect the dots and learn about the additional character building that the author created in this book, you’ll be even more amazed at the remarkable production established within this series.
Admirable world building, character development and the extraordinary plot.
Personally, I thought the interactions between Tristan, Elena and Harry were heartwarming and adorable. I laughed and teared up multiple times throughout this story. I hope everyone enjoys this book and overall series. This is a unique work of art!

The Traveler: Book 3 is the third book in The Traveler series by Deborah Dugan. We continue our adventures with Harry as he wakes up from stasis in a new configuration and must make his way back to Tristan. Harry must once again go through his journey as he finds himself in danger. This book is even better than the first two. All the thought-provoking events and the complex, emotional plot that you come to know from this series. I absolutely love this series and was so excited to once again see Harry and Tristan.

This is the third book in this series which I enjoyed just as much as the previous two books. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series to help your enhancement of this series and to see where the characters have been up to now. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. I enjoyed seeing Harry on another adventure and the danger he put himself into. He is such a great strong character, he made the story for me. This is an easy and entertaining story to read. You are pulled into the story by the author’s use of details that made it more realistic. You don’t want to miss this series. I highly recommend this book.
Intriguing. I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. Harry is a wonderful character, and has such an interesting history. He goes into stasis and then when he comes out it, he is a new being. He remembers all his previous lives, which he has hundreds and thousands of them. In this story, we see his life as a mantis, and meet Bakari. I couldn’t understand why she would take Harry, and honestly still don’t but, it was nerve wrecking watching Tristan and Elena worry over him and where he was. Harry in the mean time is content and is learning how to connect with his own power again, as we get a glimpse of his previous lives. It seems like through this ordeal with Bakari, Harry is able to come into a different form, one that leaves Tristan and Elena speechless. Great read, very creative story!
This was another fun and exciting read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Book three in the series did not disappoint. The growth in Harry in this final book was immense through his need to escape and hope to get total those he loves. As always, the humorous interactions between Tristian and Harry and now Elena will instantly make you smile. The ending honestly made me want more but it ended with great revelation.
The Traveler: Book Three is the third instalment in The Traveler series by Deborah Dugan. As with the previous books, it is a complex thought-provoking sci-fi fantasy with time travel, adventure, action, time and space/reality travels, energy manipulation, danger, drama, high stakes, risks, intrigue, tension, plenty of originality & imagination, humour, and deeper themes that makes this another highly creative read. As we discovered at the beginning of this adventure (Book #1)- The Traveler is an ancient ‘being’ who has travelled the universe and has taken on various forms over millennia, then using these ‘experiences’ as a means to gaining knowledge and power. This book explores time, reality, energy manipulation, dimensions, and much more. The Traveler finds himself in danger, and so the tension mounts as I followed along to find out how it all played out in the end. Colour me intrigued! As this is the third book in the series which follows The Traveler on their journey, and continues the ‘adventures’ we started back in book one, I highly recommend reading the previous books before starting on this one, as they will help ground you in the story, as well as provide interesting and important details that will help enhance your overall reading experience of this book, and series as a whole. Again, I felt this book was more emotional and impactful than the previous books- the series definitely seems to be getting better and better with each new instalment. There are even more threads, more attention to detail, depth, and development here than the first two- and even though I really enjoyed the first two books, this one is better still. Another unique, interesting, and thought-provoking read. I wonder what Ms. Dugan, and Harry, have in store for us next? Happy reading!

Harry is back after another period of stasis where he regenerates his life force and adapts to become a new configuration, but a lot has changed and so when he finds his way back to Tristan, there are a lot of new things he has to learn, but he is willing and able to do it. He first finds his friend’s house and makes his way to a flower bed so that he can work out when and where he is, feeling relieved is an understatement when he realises that Tristan is still there, but his new configuration confuses Tristan at first, but as soon as he realises that it is Harry, he is very happy to have him back.
As Harry learns about what has come to pass during his stasis, he finds that there are new amazing things to experience, as well as new frustrations and dangers, much like his past lives, there are always new emotions to experience and new dangers to watch out for, but again, life is not a straight line and obstacles are thrown in his way. As night falls and another day moves into the quiet time when Harry is awake, but all other people and things are asleep, he experiences something completely new and scary and so he has to quickly learn how to adapt and what he can do to keep himself safe and get back to Tristan.
As this new situation develops, Harry has to investigate an occurrence which involves the energy which flows throughout the universe and he realises that he may be in a position to help someone, but that it may also be the beginning of a breakthrough of his understanding of his own existence and powers, but will he be able to stay objective which he investigates and decides whether the pros of helping this individual outweigh the cons, or will he put himself in more danger than ever before? This is another in depth look into existence and reality in its many forms and asks the hard philosophical questions in such a way that you learn about life and learn to love the characters all at the same time and this is something which is both enriching and exciting, albeit at times mind boggling in the best possible way.
This is book 3 in the uniquely quirky The Traveler series by Deborah Dugan. This series is an unusually different Sci Fi fantasy adventure story with time travel. The Traveler is an original tale that captivates and intrigues its audience. The Traveler/Harry is a fascinating character. I recommend you read the books in order to learn about this timeless ancient being and his travels and encounters and appreciate the levels of the story. Deborah have skilfully woven fantasy and science fiction to give the reader an imagery that is creative and thought provoking and imaginative storytelling. It is engaging, and has an emotionally charged storyline. To save himself and others Harry must drive himself to the point of grave danger and beyond. Will they survive? I recommend this series to lovers of sci-fi and fantasy who are looking for something that is original, entertaining and thought-provoking.
This installment of the Harry’s adventures had me on the edge of my seat. I can’t really tell you much because it might just spoil it. At times, you feel you are right there with him experiencing his small world, teetering on the edge of his “cliff.” The story keeps you engaged and thinking as you follow along. I couldn’t put it down because I wanted to know what was going to happen next with Harry. I love Tristan and Elena but Harry is my favorite. He’s also our main character. Critter was an interesting twist. The story had a really interesting flow and ran smooth. I enjoyed the story and can’t wait to read what happens in his next adventure.
Humans ask, how does time bind us, but The Traveler asks: how shall time be unbound?
Humans ask, what is reality, but the Travler asks: what is reality within the fluctuating energy of time and space.
In Book 3 of The Travler series, Harry’s experiences take him from Tristan’s flower bed to a soul-shaking revelation that puts him on the cusp of regaining full awareness of his power. This next evolutionary step may change his place in this reality forever.
Harry’s growth in understanding and manipulating energy flows is never without risk. His current configuration puts him in grave danger that he must find a way to escape. He must forcefully extend his energy manipulation to save himself and another, but will his inherent compassion hold him back?
Deborah Dugan has wanted to be a published author since the age of ten or so. She has independently studied quantum physics, metaphysics, and all things extraterrestrial, for decades. She is an avid fan of sciencey stuff. She was born and raised in the Midwest and currently lives in the Pacific Northwest. In fact, she has lived in the Pacific Northwest for so long that she almost (but not quite) qualifies as a PNW native, according to some actual PNW natives, aka Seattleites. She is disqualified from being a full PNW native, and truly pitied, because she drinks tea instead of coffee. She has no current plans to return to the snow, heat, and mosquitoes of the Midwest, and will remain among the dripping evergreens and slugs of the PNW for the foreseeable future. She has several grown children and a number of frenetic grandchildren, as well as an old dog. It’s all come together now. I am so very glad that I came back and read the first installment in this set. I made the mistake of reading the second installment prior to this one, and it makes a lot more sense now. This author is an immaculate storyteller, and this is one story that you don’t want to miss. It’s completely different than anything else I have ever read, and the characters, the travels, adventures and connections are all sewn up in a few cute packages. I thoroughly enjoy the way that the novel is written in parts, dividing the different stories so that the reader doesn’t get lost along the way.
I felt as though I looked at this life differently after following the friendship of the Traveler and Tristan, and how overcoming your fears, even with a little assistance, can clear your outlook on life and appreciate the little things that are everywhere, every day. I will be going back and reading the second installment of The Traveler, as I’m sure that even more will become clear, and will be an immersive adventure once more. Do set aside time to really dig deep into these stories, as the more you put into them, the more you’ll get out. Highly recommend!

Harry, who was once Little Brother and a few other names as well, has had his fair share of heartache and joy, friendship and betrayal, life and death. He has lived for eons whether through sleep or by being present and awake from stasis. The tales that the Traveler must tell are of joy, friendship, betrayal, hate, and love. I loved reading about the beginnings of man through the eyes of an eyewitness and following his journey to today. The book is filled with adventure and excitement and is such a great read! The Traveler will not disappoint those who crave a good story that is written throughout the ages and has a bit of new age energy thrown in. The characters are “real” and often quirky but easily relatable especially Harry. I now need to read the first book in the series and cannot wait for the Next adventure that Harry proceeds on. Pick up this book and read it!!
The story follows Harry, who over has gone by many names over many years, and his adventures. I will start by saying that although the first book is not necessary to follow along but makes book two significantly more enjoyable. With that being said, I had a much harder time getting into boom two but having read the first book, I knew it would get better and answers to my questions would be resolved. I enjoyed learning more about Harry and his past lives. The author did a really nice job seamlessly blending the past with the current time while also building wonderful character development. I found myself missing the same people Harry was and wondering what happened to them. We also continue to find out how Tristan is doing and his budding romance with Elena. My favorite interactions will always be with Tristan and Harry. I’m excited to read the third book.
This is the second book in the series by this author I have read, and I enjoyed it just as much as the first one. I thought this book provided the reader more of the story of the main character, especially his past and what got him to where he is at today. I love her sci-fi writing style and her amazing depiction of the experiences going on in that place and time. This book brought me more emotion than the first book which I honestly was not prepared for, but it was all needed to help with the story arc. She did a great job. I would highly recommend that you read these books in order instead of reading this one first. It will benefit you in understanding how and what you are reading about. Very good read.
This story was just as interesting as the first! I definitely recommend reading them in order. It picks up where with left off and follows Harry through different times. You also get to find out what happens with Tristan after Harry goes into stasis. This one pulls at the heart strings like the first one did! This really is a very interesting science fiction read!

Enter Science Fiction into a story about a “being” who has long periods of stasis and changes form every times he comes out of stasis and learning new things like language inter species communication. Follow an evolving society while Harry sleeps in stasis as humans continue to progress. I enjoyed Harry got to come back to Tristan but I was annoyed with Elena’s response to finding a talking bug…big…. its a talking bug and you want to take a nap?!?Who does that?
Elena inevitably gets pulled into a crazy adventure with Harry and is far more accepting of what he is, even if Harry & Tristan do not fully understand.
All in all a good science fiction/fantasy. I admit I did not read book 1 that would probably have filled in the gaps for me.

This is the second book in the Traveler series and I was hooked all over again. The way the author draws you into their imagination is fantastic. The Traveler Book 2 is the second installment of The Traveler series. Harry is back and with him a new victim! ..Ahem I mean a new friend! This time Elena is not so trusting of our unique time traveler but is dragged into a crazy adventure anyways. We learn more about Harry, his past and his abilities. Another great story by Deborah Dugan that will leave you looking forward for more.
