This is the 2 book in the Shadow Defense Security Series. I have not read the first book in the series but after reading this one i am going to have to go back and read it. This book was so good. Regan and Pavlo tolerate each other at best. The twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. The dynamic between the characters is amazing.
This book is part of the Game Time Series. Callahan and Jamaica’s story is great. When they get paired for a project sparks fly. Jamaica does not like sports and Callahan is a football star. This really was a great story full of misconceptions and several twists and turns.

What a fun and interactive story to read to your little ones. Teaching your family pet is always a grand idea. Reading about all the dog owners and their tricks was not only interesting but formative. I also loved the rhyming throughout the story. This is most definitely a book for all children, adults and their dogs. Helping to bring more love and attention to our beloved families. The story is easy to read as well as follow. The words and descriptions are so worth the read. This author is new to me. But that won’t stop me from getting more of her books. I look forward to seeing where we go next Review@cinful

This is a two story book && they are both great stories!! Quite a bit happens in the first story. Very entertaining and such a fantastic story. It is a romantic suspense that is full of a whole lot of sizzle along with secrets, danger, hidden agendas, action, and of course love. Captivated from the very first page!! Story two was yet another amazing, suspenseful, romantic story in the series. The author’s stories are always well written and unpredictable with fantastic characters. Story two was such a fantastic addition to the series, I loved it and could not set aside until finished. Really LOVE this author and her writing style. Sooo glad I started these series!

Song of Earth and Claws starts a bit slow as there is quite a bit of world-building, as is usual in stories of the Fae. The reader needs to be able to understand the rules to understand the motivations of the main character. Lannahi is the youngest daughter of King Sarkal, king of Goldenshadows and Queen Asirri, Sarkal’s wife and Knight. Her older siblings are princes & princesses of their kingdoms under King Sarkal. Kingdoms are won and lost in the Moon Games that happen every month, according to the Rules, but not everyone plays by the rules. Lannahi is a musician with little power, but she realises that she cannot trust anyone, not even her family, as they will all use her as a pawn to gain and keep their own power and kingdoms. When Lannahi is betrayed by Nihhal, an enchanter she loves, she is forced to participate in the Game and duel for a kingdom to protect herself from him and his plans for her. Ava is struggling to come to terms with her situation, lock in the fortress of Kingston Winter can’t be that bad but when she discovers that her brother has abandoned her and she is not getting out of the gilded castle she starts to drawn to Kingston.
Kingston has always collected things and Ava is no exception to the rule but when he has this compulsion and attraction to her he is more in protection mode and wants her to be his forever. All things are complicated her drives her too the point that although she hates him she can’t live without him also.
Can there situation move further into a relationship or is Kingston incapable of being that close to her or have his feelings brought out in the open?
This is the second half to the story and to be honest this is not a book to read independently, you will need to understand the back story to really appreciate this book and the dynamics between the two characters. As the first book the characters open up more and you get to see the true them in this story. Ava although in the first book I thought was strong and sassy shows more in this story and you get to she her strength and the struggles of understanding something is not right but having this obsession with Kingston was great to read.
Kington’s character would be classed as an a antihero but as you read more of his thoughts and desires in this story you get to understand him more as you read through the book. The chemistry between these characters is off the chart and will have you turning the pages to find out what happened next.
The story is well constructed and written brilliantly with the passion and chemistry just jumps off the screen. I can’t wait to read more books by this author.

I was a little leery at first about this book but once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. It has just enough historical facts, friendship, action, and suspense. You find yourself wrapped up in Jean and Blanches story and rooting for them to find out the truth. It has wonderful characters that feel like they could be your own friends you hang out with.
This author has never disappointed me. She writes such magical things that draw you in from the beginning. This is a great short story about doing the right thing even when it’s inconvenient or not as fun for you. It is great to read to your kids. My 8 year old loves all of the stories written by this author.

The Marcy Series Box Set is definitely a whirlwind. The 3 books take the reader on the biggest emotional rollercoaster ever. The author pulls you in. Makes you feel happy, angry, sad, love, ect. You need to read all 3. You can’t skip around or read them alone. The next book starts exactly where the previous left off. Marcy finds herself dealing with a lot of rage and confusion in her life for the last few months and doesn’t understand why. At the urging of her boyfriend Brad she finally seeks out help. But when she does her life takes some unexpected turns. Ending up in a love triangle in love with both Brad and Liam she’s trying to figure out how to navigate it all. She doesn’t want to hurt either one of them, so she keeps them both close. Brad as well as herself have some emotional issues they have to deal with personally before they can move on. Liam has a personal vendetta he needs to accomplish before he can be completely open. So what will happen? Who will Marcy choose? Rage Confusion Agony and Ecstasy Will answer those questions and more. I didn’t care for what Marcy was doing at first. But as you get to know the character one gets a better understanding. I felt bad for Brad but I understood. Liam I knew there was more than met the eye. I guarantee you at least feel similarly about at least one of these if not all. You want a psychological/emotional rollercoaster with some suspense thrown in, check this box set out!

A Heart So Savage is the second book in The Savage Duet. This is a Dark Romance that will have you turning the pages till the end. I do highly suggest reading the first book in this duet as this picks up right where book one leaves us. I also want to warn there may ne some triggers in this story but if you can push through them it’s worth trying. I loved everything about this book. It’s raw, loaded with danger, suspense, plenty of steamy sex and so much more. Ava and Kingston these two frustrated me at times but man oh man. He’s claimed her and she’s being held as payment for a huge debt her brother owes him. You guys are in for quite the ride. Hang on tight. I don’t want to give away anything. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This sci fi fiction and fantasy book takes place in the future, 100 years from now, when we have done enough damage to the environment. Maddison Bear’s Heart, an environmental lawyer, is assigned a task to speak to Gaia, mother Earth by the Hopi people. When they come to know that a new planet is ready to welcome them, they board a space craft to begin their new life. But there are a lot who are left behind . Greed and misunderstanding comes in the way and there is harm to befall both on the space craft and the people who are left behind, mostly women who depend on hope. This is a very interesting story, but there are too many characters and too many perspectives, which made it a little confusing for me. Hopefully as the series progresses, things get a little less tangled. Overall , quite an interesting book.

This is a fantasy romance, something I don’t normally read. But Brooke May has become one of my favorite authors so I figured I would give this book a chance and I am so glad that I did. Seraphina is a cupid, but not the normal stereotypical cupid we all imagine with arrows and wings and looking like a cherub. Seraphina is feisty and really sassy. Seth is a hockey player with a playboy attitude. He goes through his pick of women on the regular. But once Seraphina gets involved that all changes. This is the fourth book in the series, but the first that I have read. I definitely think this book functioned as a standalone, but I will be reading the others because I enjoyed this one. I definitely loved the characters in this book and have always found Brooke May to have a talent in writing books with fantastically well developed characters that jump off the page. I definitely recommend this book!

Marcie has a good heart and her love for animals speaks volumes of her character but again she’s vulnerable and an easy target and that’s exactly why our killer chose her but fear not our TDH Ted will come to her rescue and let me tell you he’s hotter than a cup of delicious hot chocolate in the winter 🔥
I loved how Ted just knew something was off ( other than the creepy elf ) and went full on protector mode but he’s been like that with Marcie from the moment they met ❣️ our 4 legged friends Ginger and Ace won my heart 🐾🥰
I’m not sure who I dislike the most , the creepy elf , Zeke the psycho or Beverly the entitled , selfish , self centred waste of space ?!
There was enough tension to keep me on the edge of my seat and this was written in a way that said alit but nothing at all , meaning I’ve got a picture mind and the writing style lets your mind wander which I think is absolutely brilliant! Again a brilliant way to end my reading year 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is a fantastic story written by C.A. King. This is a fun novella length book that really hits you in all the feels. This is a great story about a groom and his nonrefundable honeymoon. Oh and his best friend. Daniel and Sara are fantastic main characters and Joey is an amazing best friend who adds to the story. This book has fantastic banter between the characters. And definitely there are sparks flying. I was able to read this book in one sitting but I loved the characters so much I was sad that the book ended. I hope to see more of them in another book soon!

This book was very good. It features Jade and Naseer. Naseer is a prince – which means he should have it all money, looks, royalty. But his life is far from easy. He has been injured in an accident and he has no interest in being the bachelor he was. Jade is a young teenager who is also not going through the easiest period of her life. Their paths cross and the rest is in this book. I don’t want to spoil it. Jade and Naseer were both well written and they had undeniable chemistry from the time they met. This is definitely a forbidden lovers romance and I loved every second of it. I definitely recommend picking this story up!

A Heart so Savage by April Moran is book two in the Savage Duet. I’m going to be honest, when I first started this duet I was taken aback by Kingstons abrasiveness. Obviously that is a part of who he is but even in the leu of that, I grew fond of his character, his loyalty and his protectiveness. As for Ava, she is so much stronger than she knows. And even though she has so much to deal with in this book, she absolutely always comes out on top. The author knows just how to keep you wanting more. I believe this is the first set of books where both characters were “talking” in the same chapter/throughout the entirety of the book. I really liked that narrative and it was easily followed. I’m sad that their story is over but man was it one intense ride and I loved every single second! Would definitely recommend to anyone who has an open mind because it truly was a great duo!

This is the third book in the Olympic Peninsula series. I have found each of these books amazing and have read them very quickly. Each book definitely functions as a standalone but I do recommend reading each of them to get all the feels of the series. In this book we are back with the O’Connell family. These siblings all have much love for one another and each lives a very interesting life. This story is Maddie, David, and Kilo. These characters had some true sparks in the second book. The focus is on David and his time in Africa. The author does a fantastic job in this story creating vivid imagery. It is not hard to picture the Olympic Peninsula or Africa. This describes the love triangle between the three main characters in depth and I have to say that I was rooting for each of them at different points. I definitely recommending this book and the whole series! I definitely hope there is more to come from the O’Connell family and the Olympic Peninsula!

This is the first of a duet. There are several trigger warnings that accompany this book so I definitely recommend reading reviews and looking for the triggers to ensure that you are good with this book. That being said, this was a fantastic start to a duet. It features to characters that are incredibly well developed and definitely keep this story moving. Ava is an interesting character who really doesn’t know the danger she is in. Kingston is really a very deep and dark character. He is obsessed with Ava and his path crosses with her. Ava’s family is also incredibly complicated which also makes this book interesting. This book was absolutely fantastic and I cannot wait to read the next book in this duet.

Recipe for Revenge is the 2nd book in the April May Cozy Mystery series. I did not read the first one, and felt like I kind of needed to (it is advertised as a stand alone)…There are a lot of references to relationships and things that happened in the first book. I enjoyed the book, but I think I would have liked it more if I knew what was going on, and had read the first book. April May is a reporter, who sets out to solve some local mysteries- including a possible arson, a missing person, and unknown mystery of her past and her father’s past. The suspense was maintained throughout the book, but not to a level of creepy or scary. It was an enjoyable book, and I would read more.

This is the second book in The Savage Duet and just wow. I enjoyed this first book in this dark romance and you definately need to read them in order but this book was everything I wished for and more. This is a dark romance with a very dominant dangerous man but what I love is the female lead is incredible. Even though she bends and submits to him she never loses herself completely and she tests her boundaries over and over again.
We are back with Ava and Kingston as they try to navigate their way through their feelings for each other while Kingston trys to protect Ava from everything and everyone wanting to cause her harm. With the truth of what finally happened to Ava’s parents out in the open she wants revenge on her brother but by seeking her own revenge is she placing herself in danger. With Kingston already on the war path trying to destroy every man that harmed Ava, he knows he will eventually get to her brother but will Ava trust him to do that or will she be the stubborn person he knows she is and risk everything. And what will happen when their enemies are defeated? When offered her freedom will Ava take it or will she want to remain with the man who has captured her heart as well as her body.
This is a dark romance so some parts maybe a bit of a trigger for some readers. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This was a lovely cozy mystery! If you’re looking for an easy, enjoyable read, this one is for you. Though it is the second in a series, it can be read as a standalone (I haven’t read the first and enjoyed it just the same).
The author creates a fun, yet suspenseful, story with likable characters. I particular enjoyed the humor throughout the book, making it feel that much more “cozy.” My only complaint is there isn’t much depth to the characters, though I suspect more and more is revealed throughout the series—and truly, in this genre I expect it to be a bit lighter in character development.
This read was just what the doctor ordered—an engaging read with enough intrigue to keep me turning the pages, while also light and humorous.

I absolutely love how this series is constructed! Auctioned Surrender Sinful Duets book two is composed of two different books (Auctioned and Relentless) that link together spectacularly! Via Mari does an amazing job of creating a steamy romance between her characters that gets you hot under the collar. Not to mention an intense plot that will keep you reading.Their world is dangerous and addictive with sex trafficking, secrets, and trust issues. The pages flew by as I was thrust into Damian and Bryanna’s story as well as Dereck and Layla’s. Both women are strong and independent and both men are oh so hot! I will be looking forward to the rest of this delightfully sinful series!

Sci-Fi Fantasy books are not usually my go-to genre, but this was a great read. A little slow at first just trying to figure out all the different characters, but I enjoyed the book and really got pulled into it the more I read. I am looking forward to reading more from this series. I loved the connection to Gaia and Adelphi and the overall connection between people and our planet. The characters were developed well and there were so many different connections, relationships and dynamics throughout the book. I thought it built up well and didn’t feel rushed. Good read and well done.

A Heart So Savage is the second book (and conclusion to) The Savage Duet by April Moran. As this continues on from where Book One left off, I highly suggest reading ‘A King So Savage’ before starting on this one as otherwise you will be missing important storyline information, as well as character introductions and other relevant details that you will need to know in order to fully appreciate this second book, and the duet as a whole. It is another gripping dark romance that captured my attention right from the very first page. Full of angsty drama, chemistry, steam, emotion, secrets, danger, debts, abduction/captive, family dynamics, agendas, tension, intrigue, and so much more. As we discovered in book #1, when the King is owed money- he will ensure that the debt will be paid, one way or another. Unfortunately for Ava, her brother owed King, big time. And when he doesn’t pay up – she is held accountable. Either her brother pays, or she will. No one messes with the King. Things get more complicated as their chemistry ignites. With other agendas in play, the story took quite a tense turn and as things unfold here- I was reading as quick as I could, flipping pages, just to find out what happens. There were intense, gripping moments, and some frustrating moments where I wanted to shake someone, as well as times when the screen of my Kindle steamed up from all the heat coming off the pages. And I was completely invested, through it all. Definitely worth the read! Intense. Steamy. Dark. Delicious. Can’t wait to see what Ms. Moran does next- it’s bound to be great! Happy Reading…

This is the first book I have read by this author. It was definitely not what you expect, but in a good way! The characters are well written and there are plenty of what the heck moments to keep you hooked. I really enjoyed Marcie and Ted. If you want a twisted Elf on the Shelf kind of story, definitely give this one a shot.
