The sword was nearly finished, and it was beautiful. He’d sent Jeb a picture and told him it was ready for the buyer he’d found. It wouldn’t take long for Reece to add the finishing touches. The metal was indescribable. It literally vibrated when he touched it. Power of some sort was hidden within its fiber, and Reece felt shocks run through his body whenever he held the blade. Sword of Darkness is Book #3.5 in the Vigilant series by L.M Preston. It is another YA fantasy with mystery, danger, investigation, the supernatural, dramatic developments, friendship, family, racing, fate, and more.
This is fast-paced which makes it a fairly quick and easy read. This builds on the story/s from the other book- this time we get Reece’s part in the overall adventure. I like that it adds to what we already know- and helps to build on the bigger ‘picture’ being painted. #colourmeintrigued
I find that I am settling into this series now, and am invested in the characters and the story. The series has definitely gotten better as it unfolds.
