After how much I enjoyed the first book I couldn’t wait to start reading the second. The author transports us yet again into an intriguing and well written story that had a unique feel to it. It feels so different to other books in the genre. I really thought you could see how the character had developed from one book to the other. It was nice to see that progression and how it carried the story. This series really has been so interesting so far and I can’t wait to see what is near from this author.
I have sincerely loved these books from the start, something I highly suggest everyone start from as well. These books are jam packed full of adventurers that go in an order that really needs to be read in an order. They are even available in a box set for convenience too so that is a nice snag if you are a bargain shopper like me for a series. Back to business lol. This book is another fast adventure that is built around an ancient artifact that holds the power to save all creation. There are lots of old characters that we get to visit with again and follow and new ones we get to meet too! I love the characters. They are so realistic and vivid. The scenery too is just so imaginative and beautiful that it makes me feel as if I am there myself with the characters as we embark on the next adventure. I also loved the deep thinking that goes into the book and that it makes me do as I read. I can’t wait to see what this author is cooking up next!

He did it again!!! This author is one of my favorites and he changed my mind about this genre of novels. I thoroughly enjoyed this third novel in the series! It has a great ebb and flow. The characters are deep. There is truly no stone unturned when it comes to the characters. While the plot line is amazing and does drive the story some I truly think the characters are about seventy five percent of the driving factor to this story. Not only are the characters well developed, they leave you wanting more and you find yourself (well I find myself) talking to them while I read.. or yelling at them lol). While this book could be read as a stand alone I would not recommend it. You won’t regret getting the box set.

I enjoyed this story very much. It read much like a fairy tale romance where you rooted for that happy ending. Carthal was that prince charming and Eala was very much his princess. All obstacles that stood between them were dashed down at some point on their road to HEA. The story itself was romantic, dramatic, and beautifully told.

The author delivers a sci-fi saga of epic proportions! At first I wasn’t invested in the different story arcs, but as they wove together, I was hooked! I enjoyed the box set since I was able to binge read all three volumes consecutively. I found it interesting how the author used his characters in order to promote different religious ideas. The scientific parts did not overreach, and this nonscientific gal was able to follow along, from rural America to outer space, for the journey of a lifetime.

Journeys Through AllCreation is the third book in the Journeys Through Book Series. I highly recommend reading the first two books to enjoy this book even more. The storyline is complex in nature. It held my attention from the first page to the last page. I highly recommend that you plan to read this book in one sitting. The prophecy is that there are innate powers contained in the Dokkaebi-of-all-Creation to destiny various universes that make up the Multiverse. I found myself wanting to be on the journey with twins from Atlantis. I have to admit that their storyline intrigued me the most. They are trying to save their home. WIll they be successful? I highly recommend reading this book to see what happens in this installment of Journey Through AllCreation.

This was such a great story! It is kind of like the movie, Interview With Vampire, taking place in 1492, and is a good combination of historical romance and vampires. I warn you, though, that there is quite graphic abuse and could be a trigger for some. The main character is Juliana Kendrick or Julia. Her father marries her off at the age of 15 to a nasty man, Gregory Smith. Gregory treats her quite horrifically, brutally beating her, and even murdering her baby. Samuel steps in to save her when it looks like all hope is lost. He tells her that he and others are actually vampires and gives her the option to join them. She accepts which allows her to heal from her physical injuries, but it can’t fix her psychological and emotional injuries. There is a love story mixed in with what is largely a story about domestic violence recovery. I enjoyed this so much and am really looking forward to the next book in the series!

Apocalypse book 2 of the Guardians series is a wonderfully written Book. I have not read book 1 or have not read a book by this Author but I absolutely loved this read and will go back and read book one. I Believe you should read book 1 first. even though i was able to follow along without reading book 1 i found this book so interesting that i must go back and read. This book kept me engrossed from begging to end. I Loved all the Characters in this story. I Really enjoyed reading about Seth i thought his character was the best. Another great book in this series. The main star is “Van” Vanessa, which we follow up with her again a year after her first 30-day mission/project that resulted in the loss of several teammates, friends and ultimately her father.
Summer begins and she quickly understands that another mission/project should start at any moment. She tries to come to terms with the fact that her handsome teammate, Brux, is now her protector/bodyguard, but can she continue to ignore her heart and stay neutral when it comes to him?
She learns that her stepmother has found a new man-child and her nemesis will now be joining their group on their next mission. On top of everything, she learns important details surrounding the mysterious men in suits walking amongst the residents of Paradise Island. How do they expect a teenager in denial of her true feelings to keep a level head when learning new information regarding the Elders, the Brotherhood, EWS agents, the infamous portal, Living World vs Earth World, internet vs intranet, low frequency vs high frequency, electricity vs electricity-like energy, good vs bad, and so on? So much responsibility for such a young lady.
I couldn’t help but feel sympathy for Van as she deals with such complex, life changing, adult material since book one. While she seems to handle things well (for the most part), she often comes across as a typical teenager so there is hope she will continue to try to live a full teenage life, even with more responsibilities, knowledge, and skillsets.
Book two pushed the fantasy fiction, action, and mysterious angle beyond what I expected after reading book one. I also enjoyed how easy this was to read. Plus, this left me anxiously waiting to read Book Three of the series.
I’m excited to see the author did not create perfect characters within this series, meaning they each have their own faults, fears, etc. They do not always make the best decisions and that makes them more real, relevant, and relatable. I believe this aspect will make this book more appealing to anyone who chooses to read it (adults, young adults, etc.).
A surprising point that I found while reading this book was how much you can become engrossed in a story and despise certain characters. It is a tribute to creative writing when you can illicit feelings from the reader and in this case, for me anyway, it was all about Ambassador Kasey. In my eyes, he always seemed a bit shady with ulterior motives, but I will not go into details or share any spoilers so any new readers can make up their own minds regarding this character.
I was blown away by the continued expansion created and described in this book. I was not certain the author could outdo herself but, in this case, she did. I was pleasantly pleased with how she wrapped up this book and as I mentioned above, I could not wait to get my hands on book number three!
This is an epic series that I hope continues for a long time.

Seth is a young man who has some unresolved issues he needs to sort through, he still cannot believe how Miriam stole his memories and then never admitted to it and the trust which she broke in the process. He also struggles with his feelings for Miriam and the way they swing in between the extremes but betrayal is the one he feels most sharply. Meanwhile, Miriam is also struggling with her sentiments towards Seth and his strange way of life before he came to the garden, but she has no regrets as such, about what she had to do to keep the Garden and it’s people safe.
Seth now has to plan his own betrayal now that the Jones’s have become involved, his life just became a whole heap more complicated, but his brain still wars against his heart. Miriam however is placing more and more trust in Seth and is conflicted about whether this is based on more than just teenage whims. However, Peter has no such conflicted feelings, he cannot trust Seth and knowing what he knows, he has to make some hard decisions about the people around him and who he can trust with it, especially when he has the feeling that he is part of something much bigger than just the garden.
Will Seth be able to carry through on his betrayal and what will it cost him? Will Miriam be able to follow he heart and trust Seth and will Peter be able to pluck up the courage to follow his Nature wherever and to whom it leads? This is a fantasy adventure filled with intrigue, secrets, betrayal and revelations, as choices are made and consequences realised in this world of two halves.
Not only this book but this series is truly an epic journey and adventure. With complex layer upon layer you really feel like you are part of this journey as you read each word. This book brings you in for a battle of good and evil….and I love that. The author does such a great job with character growth and you really feel full invested into the characters and story line. Can I say the details that this author brings too, wow…..to bring this story to life on filled pages…I cannot say enough how truly thankful I am reading this amazing series by a true amazing author! I would love to see more of this story unfold….

This book draws you in from the beginning with the main character Celeste wanting something different in life. It’s that constant idea that we all deal with that the grass is greener on the other side. This book is wonderful because it has just the right touch of magic and real world problems. I really felt for Julia’s character and couldn’t imagine going through the things she went through and the decisions she had to make to stay alive. There were parts that moved me to tears. I also loved her character development and how it showed it really does take time to heal, maybe even centuries. I also really liked her relationship with Samuel and how patient he was with her through the difficult times. Such a powerful read with great action!!! I highly recommend it for any paranormal or dark fantasy lovers !!!

It is a fun adventure sci-fi read. And it will consume you and get your mind really thinking. There is a lot going on so make sure you have the time to pay attention.
This is as beautifully written as the first two and this is absolutely my favorite of them. The criss-cross of timelines and characters is done wonderfully. It is definitely a must-read.

Lost Soul is Book One in the War of Destiny Series. In it we are introduced to young Julia, the daughter of a wealthy family living in 16th Century London. Julia falls head over heels in love with Adam, one of her servant’s sons, which makes her father angry. Julia’s father feels that Adam is not good enough or rich enough for his daughter, so he arranges for her to marry a wealthy man named Gregory. Despite Julia’s protests her father forces her into marriage and forbids her from seeing Adam. At the tender age of 15 Julia finds herself in a loveless marriage with a man who is cold, cruel, and controlling.
When Julia’s husband does the unthinkable and tragedy befalls Julia, she feels helpless with nowhere to turn for help. Suddenly she is presented with an opportunity to escape her miserable existence when she meets a stranger named Samuel. He offers her a deal that will forever alter her destiny and will grant her freedom as well as a reunion with her true love Adam. The only catch is that it would mean that Julia would have to join the Vampire Resistance to fight the King. Will Julia take the deal to gain freedom and be with Adam?
I found this book hard to put down as I read to see what would become of Julia. My heart broke for her as she endured so much mistreatment from those that were supposed to love her. Finding herself married at such a young age to a man who abused her as well as having a father that only cared about his own needs would have been hard to endure. The author did a good job of delving into the topics of depression and anxiety that ultimately stems from trauma and abuse. As a survivor of abuse, I found the book was a hard read at many points but a compelling one as well. I found Julia’s journey intriguing as she fought to gain her strength and independence. I cannot wait to read Book Two in the Series.

This book started out a little slow and confusing but it definitely picked up. The story was good and the characters were likeable. It does end with a happy ending and I hope that the author gives us more of this world.

Interesting read. I will be honest, I did not read the first book, I feel like there were holes that would have been filled had I read the first book, so I definitely recommend reading them in order. I really enjoyed the first part of the book the most. Reading of the life of Small Brother and the tribe. I was devastated with the way the Shaman reacted and handled things, I was fully invested in Small Brother’s life and was excited to see him bond and live with the tribe and Old Father. Reading of Stalker was interesting but not as exciting for me as the first and 4th parts. I was happy to learn that Tristan was able to see Harry again after so long but, Elena was getting on my nerves with not being readily accepting of him. Who wouldn’t want to talk to bugs?
Wonderful! This was an excellent fairytale style story, something I haven’t read before. If I were Cathal it would be hard to forgive my grandmother for the suffering growing up, but Cathal is an amazing human and could understand her reasons and still loved her and cherished her. I love Cathal and Eala as a couple, they are super sweet, kind, caring and just all around great people or magical creatures and deserve every bit of happiness, especially with how they have both lived thus far. Eala enslaved to the king for years and Cathal always getting punished in place of his evil brother. The way the story flowed so nicely and everything came together in the end, it truly read like a fairytale. I highly recommend for any romance and fairytale lover.

I enjoy coming of age stories since they typically include a complex network of characters, narrative and growth. In this book, the main character, “Van” Vanessa starts as a typical egotistical teenager who only focuses on herself, boys and her intended summer plans with friends. Her bff, Paley is similar from that perspective but to me, comes off as polar opposites when it counts. Perhaps that’s why they are friends? Opposites attract?
Van must literally grow up in a matter of moments once she learns that her mother was considered royalty, she may have been killed vs dying during childbirth, her father is missing, he screwed up at work, could be a traitor and possibly a murderer! After learning all of this and the fact that most of what she’s been told her entire life was a lie, she makes the more grown up decision to pursue the 30-day mission she is being assigned, along with a group of several other teens. One of them is the Anchoress, but their identity is hidden from the group until it is necessary.
I really enjoyed this book. It is a must read and flows well. You will not want to put it down. I think young adults and adults will enjoy this book.

I really enjoyed The Traveler so leapt at the chance to read Book 2. It didn’t disappoint! Book 2 brings us loads more of Harry’s backstory, which is fascinating, as well as developing the present-day story. I would only recommend this book to people who have read Book 1 – I think it would come across as a bit slow and confusing if you’re not coming at it from that angle. So if you’re reading this review and haven’t read Book 1 I would put that at the top of your tbr list! At the end of Book 1, Harry went into stasis – an incredibly long and deep sleep that would allow him to replenish his energy and heal his body. While he is in stasis, he dreams of some of the many lives he has lived before and these make up the bulk of the story. These are fantastic, taking us to a variety of moments in history and seeing how different humans have responded to Harry in these times. These stories in themselves are very engaging, and at times emotionally moving. Meanwhile, we get to keep up with what’s going on in the world Harry left behind as he sleeps. We see Tristan recovering from the emotional rollercoaster of the first book – I was very grateful to see him still in the story. This book gets five stars from me! I can’t wait to read the next one! I would recommend the series to readers of sci-fi and fantasy who are looking for something entertaining, thought-provoking and original.

I am new to the author and her books but I think I’ll be reading more after engulfing this book. Initially, I was intrigued by the beautiful graphics on the cover and hoped the story would be just as intriguing. I was happy to learn that my instincts were right!
This book is a fantastic fictional fantasy story that will make for an incredible series with plenty of room to continue building/expanding the plot and the characters.
Throughout the book, I found myself mesmerized by the exquisite attention to details. I am always on the lookout for authors who have the gift of creating incredible imagery within their stories, and this author did not disappoint. I was hooked by the cover and upon reading from page one.
I thought the book was an easy read and flowed very well.
Can I say again that I did not want to put this book down?
I enjoyed the chemistry amongst the different characters and often felt as if I was rooting for some and hating on others. To evoke that type of reaction in a reader isn’t easy and honestly kept me enthralled from the get go. This book definitely grabbed my attention and never let go.
When the main character, Bernard (Marchand) alters the timeline, I thought of the many stories or movies I have seen in the past regarding timelines, changing history, etc. I immediately thought of the ripple effect and thought, “uh oh.” While I completely understand how someone who has lost people they love would want to go back and change things, the result of such things always seems to have that darn ripple effect and will not always be a positive result. So once the characters attempt to rectify the timeline issue I knew we were in for a bit of drama, suspense, and action.
Also, while I’m not a fan of romance storylines since they tend to overshadow or take away from the main story, I did not mind the romance piece in this book. It was well written and implemented into the story. It works well!
I think any fantasy fan will thoroughly enjoy this book, but the mix of norse mythology and a bit of world history will also satisfy readers of other genres as well.
Overall, this book was incredible and by far one of my favorite reads to date. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!

I loved the other two books in this series and I loved this one just as much. Van takes us on another of her wild adventures with the gang and I loved every second of it. I couldn’t put this one down and was glued to my kindle. The characters are so wonderful and I just can’t get enough of them. If you like young adult fantasy books I highly recommend this series!

This retelling of this combination of fairy tales was an interesting read, to say the least. I had yet to read anything by this author and was curious as I had heard plenty of positive reviews regarding her previous written works. I am quite glad that I did, as she is very apt in the art of creating a beautiful world, Swan Island, and building up the characters who we follow through this romance, being Cathal, Odhran, their grandmother, Cara, Eala, and her beautiful Swan family. “No good deed ever goes wasted,” (Harold S. Kushner) comes to mind while reading this novel, as Cathal is the kindest soul you could ever imagine, and saved Eala a decade ago who was in the form of her swan at the time, and neither of them had forgotten those couple of fateful weeks where he nursed her back to health, putting his own on the line.
Overall, I did enjoy this story quite a bit, however, I did find it to be very slow going at times, and there were a couple of times that the same thoughts and ideas were brought forward, making it a little long winded. The family ties, chosen and blood, and the inner turmoil felt throughout the story line was endearing, and elicited feelings of sadness, heartbreak, hope, and love, and I love when fairy tales are told in a different light than the original. I am excited to see if this author visits more fairy tales in the future and will be reading more by her soon. Very good read!

This book picks up the stories started in the previous books. There are so many stories happening at once in this book, with one larger overall story combining them all. The fact that the author can vividly create so many incredible worlds and characters is absolutely amazing to me. Their imagination is a masterpiece. Not only is each world different, the many beings are fully sculpted out and individual. The descriptions are what brings this book to life.
Then there is the story itself. Each mini event happening eventually combines to bring us closer to the climax of the book. There are so many emotions you will experience within this fantastic book. It is never boring and thoroughly entertaining. I recommend reading the previous books, but it is a must read for fans of epic science fiction and those who see things a bit differently.

I really enjoyed this book! My go-to genre tends to be fantasy, and this author has this amazing mastery of what makes fantasy novels so compelling. The author weaves these worlds, making it easy to see and understand the way they are interrelated. Reading this story, I was completely engrossed in the descriptions especially because they painted a picture: not always a pretty one, but an intense and compelling one that completely made sense for where on the journey we were, following the characters. The characters were also complex and relatable, facing problems that we may face here in the real world, but adapted to their world. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy!

I was very impressed with this book and how much there was in it, from fantasy, military fiction, alternative history, and Norse mythology. The characters and the world-building were what grabbed me and really made it hard for me to put it down. I really enjoyed how this book brought in some true history, mixed with the fantasy. Bernard and Alva are amazing characters and they went very well together in this story. I really enjoyed this book and it kept me wondering what amazing things were to happen next.

I was so excited after reading the first book to get to read this one. It lives up to the hype!! I absolutely loved the continuing struggles and the fantasy. The protection of the legendary garden of Eden and the tree of life is foremost in this novel. I really dove into the action and could not put this book down. This author has fast become one of my favorites!! Book three cannot come fast enough!!! Side note: you may need tissues for several chapters of this story!!
