This is a fast paced, sexy adventure. This story has several taboo subjects such as sex trafficking, male on male loving and even a little more in the sex department. This book should be read by people with open minds and those that are adults.
The Debt Collector has twists to keep you guessing, surprises to keep you reading and sexy scenes to keep you hot and bothered.
This is the first book I have read by India Kells and it won’t be the last. I really hope there are more stories by Kells about this group of characters as I found them funny, honest, and sexy. The story line was easy to read and follow, with just enough characters to keep the adventure going.
I recommend this book and am looking forward to discovering more from this author.

The Debt Collector, an Underground Bad Boys Romance, by India Kells is a story rife with chemistry, mystery, allure and more. India Kells delivers a cast of characters that are detailed original with heart-stopping qualities. The Debt Collector touches on topics that some wish to avoid, but the way the author handled them within this story was well thought out and not overly done to cause distaste within the story. Truly a great story by an author that can deliver again and again.

Romance. Suspense. Dang…the book left my head spinning. I was immediately drawn in by the detailed characters and storyline. And what an amazingly awesome ride it was… I was on the edge of my seat reading as fast as I could. Loved it and looking forward to reading more in this series and from this author.

The Debt Collector by India Kells. This was a great quick read, for me it was over pretty quick as the story oukked me in right away then you add Locke and Gages sexual exploits into the story along with Locke and Tessa’s. This story is a mixture of erotica, suspense and some romance to me. I liked Locke, he was a strong, dominating, alpha male but he still had the nice, caring side that came out on occasion. Tessa was a great character, she was a mixture of dominate and subordinate depending on what the situation called for. Overall the story was great, the imagry from the scenes was good a deal you wanted more the entire time.

The Debt Collector is An Underground Bad Boy Romance by India Kells. OMG!! This Book was such an awesome read! Ms. Kells is one of my favourite authors, so when I saw this book it was an instant ‘one-click’, I didn’t even bother reading the blurb- so to say this book surprised me is a bit of an understatement! It wasn’t what I had been expecting- it was so much MORE! This has a ménage/threesome aspect to the story, which I don’t normally go out of my way to hunt down, not that I don’t like them- it’s just really hard to find a good one. This is one of the exceptions- wonderfully written, with sizzlingly HOT encounters, drama, danger, pleasure, pain, heartache, intrigue, suspense, and romance. I devoured it in a couple of hours, loving every minute and not wanting it to end. There is more to this story than just lust and the ménage- there is a ‘deeper’ story, with beautifully flawed characters fighting their demons and looking for some redemption. The characters really brought this story to life and gave it a believability. One thing I have learned about Ms. Kells’ stories is that things are never simple, there are always layers and complexities to be revealed. And there is definitely a lot more to Locke (and Gage) than is first apparent. He is quite complex- with a back-story that made my heart ache for what he’d been through. I don’t want to say too much, and give anything away, because you really should read all the incredible details for yourself- you really won’t be disappointed!! I can’t wait to read more of this series!

I loved this book. This story as a little bit of everything from romance, to suspense, to hot steamy erotica. Tess is a doctor that has been helping girls that have been enslaved by the Underground Cage fighting. What will happen when she is captured and then rescued by a debt collector? How much is she willing to risk? The characters are connectable and hot, sexy that pull you into their world of twists and turns that I couldn’t put down until the end. This is a must read book!

The Debt Collector: An Underground Bad Boys Romance By: India Kells 5 out of 5 stars
The story The Debt Collector: An Underground Bad Boys Romance by India Kells is a book that I loved reading. It is a story with steamy scenes that will make the temperature in the room rise and you will be reaching for a cold glass of water. I loved reading about the characters of Dr. Tessa Freeman and Locke. Tessa is a woman who is caring and has a large heart. When a patient comes in and needs help she will provide it, even if it means that she may be in danger. Tessa has found herself taken by a slave ring after she helps some girls in the ER where she works. Locke is the man that rescues Tessa. He also is both mysterious and distant. He has offered Tessa a deal to keep her safe from the slave ring. The terms of that deal are not what Tessa would have ever expected. These two are both attracted to each other. There is electricity when they are together and the lust they feel for each other is very evident. Add in Locke’s best friend Gage, and there is enough heat to burn the building they are in down to the ground. Is lust all that Tessa feels? Will she find out the secrets that Locke keeps? What does the future hold? Will Tessa finally no longer have to worry about the slave ring? Read this book to find out what happens. I was intrigued by Locke’s friend Gage. He is an underground cage fighter and their friendship includes a strong bond of friendship and sometimes a lot more goes on when they are together. I love that Tessa is a strong and independent woman. She is a character that I loved from the start of the book. This is a book that is wonderful to read and one that I would recommend.

A debt that she may not have the strength to repay.
Dr. Tessa Freeman is dedicated to the well-being of her patients, and when battered girls come into her ER, escaping from an underground slave ring, Tessa risks it all to save them. Unfortunately, no good deed ever goes unpunished.
Captured by the slave master, her fate seems worse than death, when a mysterious debt collector comes to her rescue. Locke is not what he seems, full of darkness and secrets, however, he agrees to offer her sanctuary if she repays her debt to him, by completely offering him her body.
Temptation is everywhere, and Locke plays with her mind by sharing her with his best friend Gage, when he’s not ravaging the fierce cage fighter himself. Lust and secrets blur her mind, making it difficult Tessa to know what she desires beyond the two men owning her body. The debt is hiding more than it appears and Tessa won’t be satisfied until she gets the truth. And the man she wants.
Writing for me is like being caught in the eye of a storm and loving every single minute of it.
Dear courageous readers, who dared to thread inside my wild imagination, filled with adventures of amazing women and courageous men, welcome to my world. When all seems to be lost, strength, intelligence and love will help my heroes fight back darkness, and find their way to each other. And you know what? That’s my favorite kind of story!
When I’m not writing about sexy thieves, dashing soldiers and cunning villains, I am traveling the world to find inspiration for my next story. Human nature is the greatest muse

Deadly Alliance is a Fortis/Purgatory crossover novel. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this collaboration as this is my first experience with the Purgatory novels, but this story is fabulous. The story line keeps things moving and it is easy to connect to the characters. I love that there are a lot of strong females working alongside the alpha males.
In this story, Emme and Shane have to go undercover to help catch a killer who is targeting women that look like Bea, the leader of the Purgatory team. As they get closer to uncovering who the killer is, Emme’s life is in danger. Shane would like to believe that the angst he feels is fallout from losing his best friend’s sister to this maniac, but he knows he is lying to himself. He seems to have developed feelings for Emme, which is distracting him from the mission. If he wants to keep Emme safe, he needs to hold it together. After a horrible tragedy, Shane knows what he has to do, even if it breaks Emme’s heart.
Deadly Alliance starts out a little on the slower side, but it picks up a few chapters in. It becomes an intense tale that will have you on the edge of your seat wondering how it will all turn out.

Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel by Maddie Wade & India Kells a four-star read that will push you. What a great crossover, you can read one of the series, both or neither and you will still get something out of this story. The story is strong from the first page, you will be kept guessing at every turn and the drama is full on, Emme and Shane are so compelling to read. Despite all the twists within the story the overall was a little underwhelming but the drama during kept it up, so you may think you know where it will end, but you won’t know how you get there.

Deadly Alliance is a crossover of Fortis and Purgatory. I haven’t read any of the Purgatory books but I’ve read a few Fortis books and loved them. They are action packed, with a tight knit team who all have awesome skills. This has the same vibe. There’s also always a love story, and this time it’s Emme and Shane. They are from opposite ends of the world but are together to bring down a bad guy. Of course posing as a married couple will bring two people together, and add in some serious attraction and you get fireworks! This book was fast paced, suspenseful, and sometimes shocking. I wonder where the author will lead us all next?

Deadly Alliance was a great 5 star read. This was a great collaboration from these two authors, I was excited to read it.
Shane is on a mission to find the serial killer who is responsible for the death of his best friends sister. The killer seems to be targeting women who all have the same look to them. Emme happens to have the look that could possibly draw the killer out. She joins Shane’s team to portray his wife undercover.
It looked like a convention for the deadly and sexy. Jesus, not one person in the room was ugly, far from it they were all gorgeous. – Emme
These two have such a great chemistry between them, you can feel the heat coming off the pages. They are both very strong characters that I loved immensely. They just clicked in so many ways. Will they be able to find the killer before he strikes again? Will they keep things professional or give in to their attraction?
We get suspense, mystery, drama, danger and so much more. I was on the edge of my seat flying through the pages to see what was coming next. There are some great twists and secrets that added great elements to the story. The secondary characters added a great element to the story, it’s like one big family when they are together. If your looking for a great read, this is the one for you. I look forward to reading more from Maddie and India.
Wow this novel is absolutely fantastic and definitely worth reading both authors done an amazing job!! AMAZING!!!! I love Maddie Wade and I love India Kells but together these two were phenomenal! When I saw these two had joined together to collaborate on a story I couldn’t wait to start it and I will admit I did have high expectations and they were met above and beyond what I thought. I loved every single minute of it. The two authors writing melded together perfectly, the storyline was fantastic and the characters were amongst some of the best I have read about so far this year. I couldn’t turn the pages quick enough as I was so captivated by everything that I was reading. There was suspense at every turn, it was action packed and so incredibly well written. There were plenty of twists and turns that kept me guessing about what was going to happen until the end. Deadly Alliance is an incredible story written by two very talented authors who I really hope will team up again in the future!!

Deadly Alliance is a crossover novel, bridging Maddie Wade’s Fortis Security series and India Kells’ Women of Purgatory series. I have read every single book in both of these series! I have been a convert ever since I finished the first book, if I remember correct then I read India Kells’ series first and then stumbled onto Maddie Wade and her Fortis Security series and the rest is a history … I keep track of the new releases in my Google calendar …. We have Shane Rhodes from the Fortis team and Emme Wallace from Purgatory team and they end up going undercover as a married couple to take down a serial killer. One of the victims is Shane’s best friend’s little sister so you can imagine what it all means to him! It is amazing how these two writers have been able to merge their writing styles to create one mind-blowing story willed with action, twists, laughter and tears … At no point was I able to say who had written what part …. I hope that there will be some more crossovers as this one has left at least me panting for more!

There are some twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat and even had me shaking my head at one moment. I love the characters and this story just flowed smoothly. Get ready to be taken on the journey of Shane and Emma. Find out if these two can have a relationship or are they better off as friends? I highly recommend reading this Book. Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel, by Maddie Wade and India Kells, is the best of two romantic suspense series. Each of these series shine in this genre on their own, combined it creates a high thrill story full of drama, danger and some heavy romantic interludes. Very strong personalities are present in this story, that work well together. There is certainly some tension as the characters from the two separate series come together, but what else would you anticipate with them. The plot of this story was well done and I loved the flow, character development and the possibility of what more is to come from these two authors. A great suspenseful read for anyone who loves romance with some drama/adventure added into the mix.
Deadly Alliance by Maddie Wade and India Kells is a Fortis/Purgatory crossover novel. This is a great combining of authors who, both in their own right, are authors I would happily read every time. Each of these series have been good reads and this crossover works so well. The way the characters are worked in together was brilliant. You could see each of the different authors styles but you could also see the compatibility between the two. Although I did find the main storyline to be a little bit obvious I still liked how fast paced the book was and how it still managed to keep my attention. I still found myself engaging with the characters and looking forward to what would happen next. This is a great collaboration that I hope we see more of in the future.

This was a quick read full of suspense and action. It’s told in 3rd person and it is a wonderful meshing of two fantastic series. I’ve read most of each series and it is my opinion that you can read this crossover even if you have not.
Even though this is a collaboration between two authors, it is written seamlessly. Had I not know I would not have guessed there are two different narrators to the story.
I appreciate that there are strong alpha females who are equal partners to their male counterparts.
Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel By Maddie Wade and India Kells Rated 5 stars
This story completely drew me in and I was surprised and shocked over a few things that happened. This is a great meeting of these two agencies. I have never read the Purgatory Series but I have spent many a lovely evenings with Fortis Security. Meshing these two together is so seamless. It’s like they have been together all along. I certainly didn’t feel like I was reading two different stories.
It was nice meeting some new characters and seeing how they interact with each other. I get to hang out with some old favorites as well. The story moved along and I never got bored. There was excitement, some thrills, some wit and sass banter.
Doing this was a brilliant idea and hopefully (please *grin*) a new spin off will result. perfect title as well!!! I love reading each of these authors and blending them together just about made my day. After hanging out with Bea and her crew I need to check out the Purgatory series.

Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel by Maddie Wade and India Kells is a fantastic read. This book is a crossover of two series: Fortis and Purgatory by Wade and Kells. I was not familiar with either series but this drew me in and I did not want to put it down. Purgatory and Fortis are both groups of former elite military and security forces that are out to catch a serial killer. Purgatory is mainly made up of Navy Seals while Fortis is British operations. The characters were well described and each had their own personality. There is always a bit of strife when you bring different teams together but they all remembered they have a mission. There is romance, action, intrigue, and some twists and turns. I stayed up late to finish reading because I had been drawn in and did not want to put it down and wait to see what happened next. I will be looking to pick up other books from these authors in the future.

Deadly Alliance is a Fortis/Purgatory Crossover written by Maddie Wade and India Kells. I have not read the Women of Purgatory by India Kells but I definitely want to get to know them now. I have read the Fortis Security stories and loved them, this crossover is no different. Emme is a strong female lead and Shane is just like the other men. The attraction between the two is instant followed closely by annoyance and irritation. Shane doesn’t believe Emme can/should fulfill the mission. Can she prove him wrong?

5-stars
I absolutely loved Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/ Purgatory Crossover Novel by Maddie Wade & India Kells! I love these authors individually, but they are absolutely phenomenal together! This book took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions which kept me engaged the whole way through. This book was intense, suspenseful, detailed, intriguing, steamy and action-packed.
I had previously read the Fortis series but hadn’t read any books from the Women of Purgatory series by India Kells, yet I found it very easy to follow along. There was plenty of backstory and character introduction that made it super easy to jump right in.
These characters are so strong and inspirational, and I always enjoy reading their journeys. I will absolutely be diving into the India Kells series as soon as I can. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for their next suspenseful read!

Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel by Maddie Wade and India Kells was a fast pace, heart pounding thriller that had me hooked from start to finish.
Not my first read by either author, and it may have been the reason I snatched this book up. Cause both authors on their own are pretty amazing, so there was no way I was passing up on this collaboration. I wasn’t disappointed and very much enjoyed this engaging thriller.
So lets be real, again I find myself wondering if I’m being biased or not. This has to do with Emma, and how young she is, not so much that is is a young woman, but that it’s brought up, a lot, way more then needs to be. And the whole innocent thing, that was another thing that irked me. She’s a grown asss woman, there’s nothing innocent about her. Especially considering she joined Fortis, they aren’t exactly saints. I believe I said this before, but unless you’re a child or an animal, you ain’t innocent.
Okay rant over.
Overall this book was pretty good. It was action packed, heart racing and steamy. What I liked the most was the hunt for the serial killer. It added that intense mystery to the very intense romance. But I will say, having Emma as the “baite” made for a bit of a predictable storyline. Especially with Shane still in recovery about his friends sisters death. So yeah, saw that coming, but because of was smooth, quick fire writing, I was kept engaged, my eyes were kept glued to the pages, and I was kept in the story. I want to stress this, that though yes, you’re going to guess the outcome pretty quick, but the writing is so good that you can’t look away. That and the characters are just a delight to read about. Not just the MC’s but all the characters.
This book is a must read if you’re a fan of these authors, even if you’re not, this story is worth your time. No worries if you think you’re going to get lost, it’s kind of a side story so you can read it like a standalone. That and you’re given enough info that it feels like this is a start of a series, not a one off. Believe me when I say, you are going to be glued to this book. It has this “Criminal Minds/John Wick” feel that just keeps you captured.
So please, take my high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will get lots in these dangerous pages.

Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel By Maddie Wade and India Kells. This book is what crossovers are made of, from page one I knew I’d be completely useless to the outside world until I finished. I couldn’t or should I say wouldn’t put it down until the end, I was completely drawn into this story filled with action, mystery and suspense. These two worlds fit together so seamlessly Shane And Emme are characters you can completely relate to and feel for. The authors do a wonderful job of writing a story you sink into and forget at times your reading a story and not loving the life within the pages. There’s plenty of twists and turns that keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat. It’s well written and paced nicely. I’m giving this book a five star review only because I can’t give any higher, but I wish I could! Highly recommend this book!

Take 2 awesome authors and put their names on one book and you end up with Awesome overload. I love both of these authors and when I saw this book I was so excited and they once again did not let me down.
This was an awesome merge, Fortis and Purgatory and the amazing people that work for each. This was a smooth read and falls right into everything else as far as the style of both of these authors.
This story had just enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat and one of the twists totally floored me, I was like NOOOOOOOO that did not just happen.
I absolutely loved it and all of the characters are still among my favorites and I was even able to meet a few new ones.
I highly recommend this and every other book both of these authors have out.
This is an enjoyable story from two great authors. This story has a little bit of everything in it from sitting on the edge of your seat suspense to nail biting revenge. Shane and Emme took me on a journey of building bonds and facing dangers that they may not be able to see coming. I enjoyed both of these characters and the growth of their friendship. Will they break each other’s barriers and realize that they are better together? I highly recommend this book to find out what happens to them.

Deadly Alliance is an exciting Fortis/Purgatory crossover novel by Maddie Wade and India Kells. When I heard that two of my favourite authors had got together and written a crossover novel, there was no questions asked, it was a no-brainer, I just had to read it!! I love the Fortis series by Maddie Wade, as well as the Purgatory series by India Kells- so the thought of combining the two was incredibly exciting for me. I must admit that I had a lot of expectation for this book and I am happy to say that the authors didn’t let me down- although I don’t exactly know what I had been expecting, because I went in blind, but they delivered much more than I had hoped for. From the gorgeous cover, to the incredible writing, to the action-packed and gripping storyline, and the fantastic characters- this book has it all!!! This is a romantic suspense- with action, adventure, emotion, danger, thrills, intrigue, mystery, undercover ops, drama, intense chemistry, tension, serial killer, teamwork, spice, and romance. The authors managed to hold the tension and suspense at an elevated level throughout the book- which kept me guessing and had me flipping pages to find out what happens. The brilliant twists and surprises also elevated the thrill level up several more notches. Shane Rhodes and Emme Wallace are highly skilled agents from the two different teams, who find themselves undercover and posing as a married couple in the hopes of flushing out a serial killer, whose body count is mounting. As one of the victims is Shane’s best friends’ little sister, the investigation has a personal aspect that drives Shane- and he’s determined to hunt down the killer. But the mission is a bit more complex than just solving a murder, testing them, and resulting in some electrically charged moments, intense action, and heart-racing suspense- that makes this story soar!! The authors styles compliment one another, as I couldn’t tell which parts were written by whom. The story was polished and really well blended, and the whole thing felt like it had all come from one mind- which is testament to these authors writing skills and compatibility. I am hoping that these two will team up for more crossovers/stories in the future, because this book works on so many levels and I love how the two worlds combined! But in the meantime, I will continue to devour everything that they produce, either individually- or together!! Brilliant!!!

Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel By: Maddie Wade and India Kells 5 out of 5 stars
The story Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel by Maddie Wade and India Kells is an amazing crossover book that I absolutely loved reading. It is a book that hooked me in from the very beginning and I didn’t want to put down until I had read the final page. It has an atmosphere of suspense and mystery that kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It is a page turner that is action-packed. Both the Fortis and Purgatory covert agencies are working together on this case and it is one that includes danger at every turn. I loved reading about the characters of Shane Rhodes and Emme Wallace. This case is personal to Shane and he is determined to find the serial killer who murdered his best friend’s little sister. He is an agent that is calm under pressure and knows how the undercover game works. So when he is teamed up with Emme who he believes to be young and less experienced he at first finds it hard to trust her. Emme is a woman who has been chosen to be in the line of fire on this mission. She may be young however she has the confidence of her mentor and others. When Shane and Emme meet they both affect each other more than they will admit. She is a distraction and she finds him very attractive. They soon find a passion and connection between themselves. Will they admit to their feelings for each other or will they push each other away? Are these two soulmates that have found each other? A serial killer is on the loose. Will they be caught before more lives are taken? Read this story to find out. This is an amazing story that I highly recommend. It is wonderfully written and a pleasure to read. There are some steamy scenes that are included in this story that will make the temperature in the room rise. I enjoyed reading about the other characters that make up the Fortis and Purgatory teams and how they banter/interact with each other, Shane, and Emme. Don’t miss out on this book.

Deadly Alliance: A Fortis/Purgatory Crossover Novel by Maddie Wade & India Kells. Wow, I just love the Fortis Series but have not read the Purgatory series (don’t worry I intend to after this book), but this book is a fantastic read and the crossover is done extremely well. Good work ladies! The Fortis group are family and with just the few characters from Purgatory I already like what I have seen and I certainly look forward to the new group that Maddie and India have indicated maybe coming (well I hope that it is coming). There is never a dull moment in this book, action, you betcha, drama, yep, murder and mayhem, definitely, hot alpha men, oh yeah, kick arse women, sure is and they all come together in one compelling, enthralling, engaging and fantastic story. Maddie and India have worked their magic and come up with something that is magic.
