Devil's Dilemma (Satan's Devils MC Colorado Chapter #4)Devil’s Dilemma by Manda Mellett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Devil’s Dilemma by Manda Mellett is their the fourth book in the Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter series. This book is full of twists and turns that will leave you desperate to read more.
This has been a brilliant series and this book is just another example of that. I knew from the blurb that I would be drawn into this bill but I didn’t expect to be so immersed in what was happening. I really liked Pyro and Mel, for me they just clicked. I was hoping all the way through that they would find a way to be together.
The story was exciting. The author really takes you on a journey with this book. She definitely knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. This is one series I would definitely recommend reading.

I loved this series as individual stories and how awesome they are now in a boxset. This is about the life of Alessandra and her struggles with her mob family. I love her character, she is so strong and just makes the story flow, fast reading, and feeling of realism. Her story is about family and the drama that goes with it. Her father wants her to take over the family one day but she just wants a normal life. Will she find what she is looking for? I highly recommend this must read series.

I loved this book! This is a children’s book that is creative and engaging. I read this story to a couple of smaller children. They were engaged and loved the pictures that go with the story. They could follow the story easily. I would not hesitate to read this book to other children. It is a great tool that will help children understand emotions and having those emotions are okay. It brings the subject down to a child’s perception so they can understand it. I highly recommend this book

This is my first book by this author. It is a suspense book that brings everything that I enjoy in this type of book. This book pulled me in from the beginning and it was engaging. The characters made me feel as if I was part of the story. Madison has found herself with no money and a widow to boot. She packs her daughter up and they move back home with her mother. What will happen when her small business brings more than income to her life? Great characters. I highly recommend this book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

To say I’m completely obsessed with this series is an understatement! I love a good MC and sometimes they can be really hard to come by but this series is GOLD!

Demon is 100% pure alpha male hotness and the new president of Hellfire. Violet is a strong and feisty single mom who is now back in her home town after 10 years of being away. Her brother was Demon’s best friend before he died and Demon was supposed to keep looking out for her. Now Demon wants to make up for his promise but he starts seeing her differently and the chemistry is explosive!

Love this series and I loved these two characters. They are probably my favorite so far!

Demon’s Angel by Manda Mellett a five-star read that will start your engine. This is number two in the Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado chapter) Cross over series and they just go from strength to strength. The strength and sizzle in this story will make you see the a roller-coaster of rainbow emotions. Violet is such a great character, her strength will make you care so deeply for her, Demon was weirdly the one I was slow to come to, I didn’t think he was enough in the beginning, he just didn’t appeal to me but about half way through I don’t know why but I was suddenly like, wow he is such a great man. I don’t know where it came from, but it surprised me. Secrets and history don’t always play fair, but Manda Mellett has a great way of pulling both together and blowing us away.

Evil Sushi (Evil Sushi Series Book 1) by C.A. King – Review by Sara Oxton

Evil SushiEvil Sushi by C.A. King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Evil Sushi by C.A. King a five-star read that you will want to chow down on. This is the first in a new series and shows us again what a talented but scary mind C.A. King must have, the imagination of this author is second to none. This supernatural thriller has a bit of everything in it, it’s a rea thought provoking and startling story, it will make you stop and think all the while you are swept up and unable to stop reading. There were so many levels and depths to this story, so many layers like a fancy trifle some are sweet, but they may not all be. Sink your teeth into this story and if you haven’t read this author before, find yourself a new favourite author along the way.

Books in Set: My Hidden Life
My Tragic Life
My Free Life

This is a wonderful box set to read. It weaves stories that hook you in from the very beginning and you don’t want to put it down until the last page. There are three books in this series, and they tell the story of Alessandra Canzano. She was born into a crime family. Alessandra is intelligent, resourceful, stubborn, and in some ways dangerous. She is also strong and confident. These books have heartbreaking and heartwarming scenes. There are times that I felt anger and bitterness at what this young girl has to go through. She doesn’t shy away from saying what is on her mind. The other characters around her are at times helpful to Alessandra and then there are those have their own agenda and plans. What Alessandra really wants is a “normal” life. Will she finally be free and able to make her own choices? Read these books to find out. I enjoyed how detailed these books are. I felt like I was right there with the characters. Don’t miss out on reading an amazing book set. You won’t be disappointed.

By: Becki Willis
5 out of 5 stars

The story Chicken Scratch (The Sisters, Texas Mystery Series Book 1) by Becki Willis is a wonderful mystery book. It pulls you in from the beginning and does let you go until the end. I found that the story has a good pace and will have you searching for answers with Madison. I so enjoyed reading about Madison. She is intelligent and resourceful. She finds herself living with her grandmother and trying to build a business called “In a Pinch Temporary Services. Her life soon becomes complicated as she finds the dead body of a client, hired to clear a suspect’s name, and dealing with her teenage twins. Oh, and there is that handsome and attractive police chief who she had a crush on in high school. Is the death of her first client an accident or something more? Read this book to find out. I loved that this book had a small-town setting. I come from a smaller farm community and have found that when I come home my actions have already been reported. There is small-town gossip that made me smile as I was reading. There are many additional characters that are introduced and have their own part to play in the story. Some of them are more helpful than others and then you have the ones that their only concern is themselves. Don’t miss out on a book that is well-written, detailed, and has some wonderful characters. I highly recommend it.

When children are young their emotions come in peaks and valleys. Sometimes they’re super excited, sometimes they’re sad, and sometimes they lose control and express themselves by throwing a temper tantrum.

These outbursts of emotions are common for parents and kids of all walks of life and can be leveraged by parents who want to teach impulse control, improved behavior, and better mindfulness.

That’s why Matt’s swirly world was written to help parents understand the “why” behind a tantrum as well as what’s going on inside their child’s brain when they’re acting out, feeling scared, or reacting to stressful situations.

An adorable journey featuring a mother and her young son, this book is a great reminder about how all emotions are accepted and that proper behaviors can be learned by kids and taught by moms and dads. In fact, your love is the perfect space where emotions can be processed, expressed, and shared together.

In this book parents will learn how mindfulness helps kid’s create better coping skills, but also a variety of other useful tools, including:

How love can be used to process emotions and support positive behaviors

Why feelings of anger and frustration come and go and are non-threatening

How a calm voice and demeanor can soothe a child and minimize meltdowns

Providing children relief from stress, anxiety, or big feelings and emotions

How children often mimic the behaviors of their mothers and fathers

Moving forward and adapting to behavioral changes in the future

This is an opportunity to learn and grow as a parent while teaching your child valuable mindfulness and self-control skills they can use long into adulthood. And it should be the first book you read on tantrums, emotions, and how to inspire positive behaviors each and every day.

When you need help better understanding why your child feels or acts they way they do in times of crisis, or you just want to connect with them on a deeper level, learn more about temper tantrums and emotional control with Matt’s swirly world – Helping Parents Understand Tantrums to Create Mindful Kids.

My Life Series: Box Set contains the three book prequel to the Brothers of Camelot series. It can be read as a standalone, but once you read it you will want more. Be prepared for a Necie Navone addiction!!!
I love this series so much! It has everything you could want in a captivating read. There’s action, friendship, grief, loss, camaraderie, longing, suspense, emotion, playful teasing, funny banter, and lots of riveting of drama- in this bloody and somewhat violent, coming of age story- with a twist. It really reminds me of “La Femme Nikita” in a lot of ways- which I also love about it. I think this series would make a brilliant movie, television series, or telemovie!!

The Box Set contains:
-My Hidden Life (Book One)
-My Tragic Life (Book Two)
My Free Life (Book Three)

Alessandra Canzano was born into an Italian crime family, the only child of the powerful and ruthless Capo (boss). She is their Princess, treated as royalty and living a fairytale life- until her sixth birthday when danger makes itself known, changing her life forever.
Her father had big plans for her right from the moment she was born, but after the events at her sixth birthday, he becomes even more controlling and obsessive. Alessandra’s beloved Uncle was tasked with training her, as he would one of the men. From the age of six she learnt hand to hand combat, then at eight she began weapons training as well. She was to tell no one of her training, or the reasons behind it. She was to keep that part of her life hidden from her mother, grandmother, family and friends.
Aless soon became one of the best fighters in ‘the family’, easily able to out shoot and defeat any of the men in hand to hand combat. But she was also learning a lot more about her family, their business, and the role in it all. She feels the heavy burden of responsibility and expectation, wishing she could just live a normal life. She has one brief encounter with a boy that stays with her long after he’s gone. Holding that moment in her heart and dreaming of a life with someone who loves her passionately.
Although she may be the family Princess, she feels more like a prisoner. The more she learns, the more she questions whether she can be a part of that world anymore. She starts to wonder if she would be better off running away and leaving it all behind. With danger an ever-present part of her life, Aless will have to remain vigilant. She is determined to find a way to avoid what her father has planned. But what can she do? Will she have no choice but to buckle under the pressure to preform to his expectations? What exactly does her father have planned for her? What does she uncover along the way? Where does Greyson fit into all of this? Does she end up staying because she’s afraid of losing everyone she loves? Or will she finally escape her gilded prison? What does her future hold? Shocks, twists, tragedy, lessons and more await Aless.
Ms. Navone is a wonderful storyteller, weaving a superb story that plucked at my heart strings, had me on the edge of my seat most of the time- whilst also creating characters who came to life, pulling me into their world and holding my attention right through till the end. The story is told from several POV’s which gave the story an extra element of interest. There was a lot going on in this book, lots of action, suspense, some violence, emotion, drama, and just a drop of romance.
Highly recommended reading!!
Brilliant!

Thank you, Ms Navone!

Draigon Weather by Paige L. Christie is the first book in the Legacies of Arnan series. This book is an absolutely fantastic story that is not only imaginative but original.
This is the first book I have read by this author and what an introduction it was. The story was amazing. It was completely different to books of this genre that I have read before. It was exciting and captivating. I had barely started it before I was hooked.
I loved the journeys that the characters went on and how different they were to each other. It really set the tone for the story and added such a depth to it. I loved reading about them both. Devil's Dilemma (Satan's Devils MC Colorado Chapter #4)Devil’s Dilemma by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Devil’s Dilemma could not have been a more perfect book! I am seriously loving the Colorado Chapter of the Satan’s Devils MC. These books are just so full of story, love, intrigue, and most of all gorgeous characters set in a gorgeous setting of Colorado. I would highly recommend that you read the series in order for the fullest enjoyment, but I could see where you could appreciate these books as standalones as well. I just happen to have gotten hooked and invested.

Devil’s Dilemma brings us Pyro and Melissa’s story. These two are both strong and valiant characters with a past that proves to make their future challenging. Starting out as friends these two develop into something so beautiful it had me letting a few tears go for them. The twists and turns that are woven so perfectly into their story kept me on the edge of my seat well past my bedtime. I couldn’t get enough and I sincerely look forward to reading the next novel in the series!

Hitting The High Note (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 3) by C A King – Review by Liz Vrchota

Hitting The High Note (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 3)Hitting The High Note by C.A. King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have really been enjoying these Four Horsemen Novels from CA King! I thought she had hit the highest note and written my favorite with book two but boom nope this book Hitting The High Note totally knocked my socks off and went for the favorite of the series. I love how CA King writes so vividly that I feel as if I am right there submerged in this alternate reality with the characters. I immensely enjoy the way she weaves the story lines of multiple characters from book to book while focusing on a separate couple in each.

In Hitting The High Note we get the story of another horsemen. Uriel, or more often called Uri. He is the fun one of the siblings and keeps things fun and lighthearted pretty much all the time, even in the worst of them. I found myself having a smile or giggle several times because of him. He is about to have his world shook though with a sassy and feisty redhead, Bekka, walks into his life and challenges his not so serious outlook on life. These two will keep you on your toes as they learn to love each other while they battle unseen twists and turns. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book!

Battling Beckett: A Contemporary Step Brother Romance by T. Christensen – Review by Liz Vrchota

Battling Beckett: A Contemporary Step Brother RomanceBattling Beckett: A Contemporary Step Brother Romance by T. Christensen
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have not read T. Christensen before but when I saw the gorgeous cover of Battling Beckett I just knew I had to find out what it was all about! I do have to say this book was good and it kept me in it till the end but I struggled with a few areas here and there. One major being my feelings about Beckett. I just struggled so much to get behind him. I knew where the story was going and how things were being set up and why, but I still found him to be a bit over the top in the alpha jerk role. He was mega mean like honestly I struggle with these type of leads because it is difficult to want the relationship to develop in the end. The catch with that is looking for the big character change, something I feel like wasn’t there with Beckett.

Battling Beckett is a step brother contemporary romance and so make sure that is your thing before reading. Greer is forced to change her entire life when her mom decides to be with Beckett Dawson’s father. She is moved into a preppy and very socially stuck up school where Beckett makes her life a living Hades in addition to doing so at home. So what happens when she starts to develop feelings for the one person who is out to do anything but love her? The premise is good, as well as the writing so I’m still going to give this one a four star rating. I look forward to seeing how things develop with the writing and the story characters in the next books to come.

SECRETS NEVER DIE by Laurie Lewis – Review by Liz Vrchota

Secrets Never DieSecrets Never Die by Laurie L.C. Lewis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have had the pleasure of reading Laurie Lewis’s Love on a Limb novels around last years holiday season and I fell in love with her knack for spinning a sweet and gripping romance with some fun twists thrown in. When I saw SECRETS NEVER DIE, I just knew I had to see what the story would unfold into as soon as possible. I am so glad I scooped this one up. I adore when a book can consume me, make me feel as if I am in a separate, peaceful, state that I just can’t find anywhere other than a good book. This book very much did that for me. I found myself so wrapped up in the story that I quickly lost track of time and my surroundings. The sun set and the hours ticked until I found myself on the last page at 2 am wondering why I didn’t savor it just a bit slower.

The suspense in this story really grabs your attention right off with those first few chapters. I found myself completely engrossed in the journey Tallie takes. Tallie’s relationship with her mother and her past sets the reader up for a tale that will make you try and put the pieces together only to find out that you had them all mixed up after all. I was hooked until the end with the way things were built and the side twists and turns that I never saw coming. I can’t wait to see what else will come next from Laurie Lewis. I loved her writing this suspense and would love some more! In the meantime, I do have a few of her titles that I haven’t read yet that I will be going to dive into soon!

Devil’s Dilemma: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter #4) by Manda Mellett – Review by Moriah Venable

Devil's Dilemma (Satan's Devils MC Colorado Chapter #4)Devil’s Dilemma by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Devil’s Dilemma is the fourth novel in the Colorado Chapter series by Manda Mellet. This is my fourth novel by this author.

Melissa meets Skull at a bar one night and while she is surprised he would be attracted to an older woman, the two start a relationship.

He introduced her to his brothers in the MC and she feels like she had finally found her place where she is happy.

But one day Skull leaves but doesn’t come back which worries the others. Soon they believe him to be dead.

I don’t want to give too much away but this was a really loved this novel.

I read the others and each one has a different emotion while reading. It’s amazing that the author has accomplished this and leaves me wanting more of these characters.

I hope there is another novel because this is my favorite by far.

My Life Series: Prequel to The Brothers of Camelot by Necie Navone – Review by Jenni Bishop

My Life Series: Box Set: Prequel to Brothers of CamelotMy Life Series: Box Set: Prequel to Brothers of Camelot by Necie Navone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

My Life Series: Box Set: Prequel to Brothers of Camelot by Necie Navone is a box of amazing stories. These goodies all in one place is a bonus for anyone because you don’t have to wait to get the next one, it is already right there for you grab, because trust me you will want to. I fell in love with each and every story, hanging on each and every word that Necie wrote.

My Hidden Life (Book 1) is one great start to the series that you don’t want to miss. Necie has a way with her words that ensure you and you are engrossed in not only the story but you become thoroughly invested in the characters. Being the Princess of the Family is not all it is cracked up to be. Being raised to one day take over a man’s world, from the day you were born, means you see and hear things you would never see in a million years. The story is told in multiple POV’s enriching the story so much more. There is so much drama and action, murder and mayhem as one Family fights another in this cut throat world. Read as one little girl learns what life is like in a world full of violence but also love.

My Tragic Life (Book 2) and as with the first book, you will find yourself engrossed in the world of the Canzano Family. You are thoroughly invested in the characters that you have grown to love in the first book. The Princess of the Family is smart, clever, and sassy and still being trained and raised to one day take over. She can out smart, out gun and out fight any man who gets in her way. This story continues to be told in multiple POV’s giving us that depth to the characters showing us what they are made from. The murder and mayhem, love and loss and high running emotions are at times heart wrenching. Necie has written a series that should not be missed. She is a diamond in the rough that is coming out shining.

My Free Life (Book 3) is the culmination of everything coming together in the tragic world of the Princess working toward her ultimate goal. With the men undeniably hers, the Princess continues to run things as she sees fit, but she knows there can only be one end, but little does she know that others have that same goal insight. Necie has once again written a winner, as she takes us on the journey that ends with death and sadness, love and loss. It’s at the ending that you will need tissues as there will be tears, as you are so emotionally invested in these wonderful characters. There is lots of action and murder, mayhem and secrets that could bring them all down. This is an explosive ending that should not be missed.

Anything of the Brothers of Camelot is a must. It is like a drug, you can’t get enough of.

Hitting The High Note (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 3) by C A King – Review by Heather Lovelace

Hitting The High Note (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 3)Hitting The High Note by C.A. King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Another fantastic installment from King! The backstory and subsequent world building in this series is riveting, well detailed, and beautifully written. I found the characters immediately relatable. Something about Uriel just resonated with me unexpectedly. Anyway, I continue to thoroughly enjoy this series and this latest addition was a welcomed read. Highly recommend!

SAN DIEGO DEAD (Jake Wolfe Series Book 4) by Mark Nolan – Review by Elizabeth Sanchez

San Diego Dead (Jake Wolfe #4)San Diego Dead by Mark Nolan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

San Diego Dead is the 4th book in the Jack Wolfe series by Mark Nolan. It continues the story of Jake Wolfe, and his retired war dog, Cody. These books are always action packed, and you never know what will happen next. In this story, Jake is trying to take a break from his job as a government hired assassin. But no surprise, he gets roped back in. His skills are just too sought after, and he finds it hard not to take the job, having personal stake in it. However, his job once again puts his relationship on the line. Will Sarah continue to stand by, even when it puts her life at risk over and over? Read the book and find out. While you could probably enjoy this book as a stand alone, or the first you read, I recommend you go back and read the other books. It will give you the full story, and lets face it, they are just good!

Pieces Of A Lie by Rowena Holloway – Review by Anastasia Dodson

Pieces of a LiePieces of a Lie by Rowena Holloway
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a suspenseful thriller that I immediately loved and couldn’t get enough of. I was pulled in from the very first page and I was kept on the edge of suspense throughout whole novel. So many twists and turns!! The main characters in this book are Lincoln and Mina. I thought they were great and I thought they were very likeable and relatable. There is a lot of attraction going on between these two but when a body is found the little trust they had gets thinner and thinner. I enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future.
Happy Reading!

Run from Love (Bowser Belles Book 2) by Teddy Cat Hester – Review by Maura Harper

Run from Love: A Bowser Belles Sweet Contemporary RomanceRun from Love: A Bowser Belles Sweet Contemporary Romance by Teddy Cat Hester
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

RUN FROM LOVE is book #2 in The Bowser Belles series and is the first I’ve read in the series. It is a quick easy read.

The story is written in such a way that we are able to watch the characters grow as we turn the pages. There is a sweet innocence to it. It is about love and friendship and bonds that are tight.

The sweet romance is not a genre I read as a rule, and this was so refreshing not to have skim and skip repetitive sex scenes.

This is one of those books that I will recommend to my younger cousins AND elderly book club members. I will be downloading the other books in the series to see what else is going on with “The Bowser Belles”.

Drawing Strength From Words (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 2) by C.A. King – Review by Katie Kearney

Drawing Strength From Words (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 2)Drawing Strength From Words by C.A. King
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Drawing Strength From Words (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 2) by C. A. King. Once again the author takes readers on quite the adventure. I holy recommend reading these in order as the story continues. While this is one the shorter side it doesn’t hinder the storyline being told. I found myself on pins and needles more than once anxious to see what was going to happen. This author draws you in and you just want to stay a while. I was definitely sad when I was finished and can’t wait for more. The characters are complex and written so well. The storyline is well paced nicely. I’m so excited to see where we are taken next! Four stars and highly recommended!

Devil’s Dilemma: Satan’s Devils MC (Colorado Chapter #4) by Manda Mellett
5 stars

Ok, I absolutely love this author, this series and pretty much anything she writes. But this book, oh my goodness, out of all the books in the Colorado Chapter and even the original series, this is in my top 3. I haven’t felt like this with a book in so long.
I can’t even put into proper words how much this book hit me. This was so different than any previous book, I had no idea what was coming next and couldn’t predict what was going to happen.
I can sit here and ramble but this hit so hard I was a sobbing mess a few times.

I cannot WAIT to read about Ink!
