Act I: Seed on Fire is book one in the Moore Family Saga by Michele Sims. As a new author to me, I went in blind and not knowing what to expect, how the author wrote, or if the story and its content would entertain me. I was delighted to find it was a fantastic read and the author can spin a tale extremely well and I was taken along for an exciting and delicious ride.
Kaiden and Alicia embarked on an adventure and had a few little surprises along the way. These two were engaging and a pleasure to read about. The story flowed along brilliantly and passionately. I could not ask for more in a romance. 5 stars.

Beachcomber Enemy: a Romantic Thriller is book 10 in the Beachcomber Investigations by Stephanie Queen. It was definitely a thrill to read this suspenseful drama.
Dane and Shana are in danger and have to tread carefully to try to solve the latest mystery. This story was never lacking in energy, excitement or drama. Intensity was high through much of the story and anticipation had me strung tight and I was constantly in awe. I love escaping into something as entertaining as this series. This author seems to always surprise and impress me. 4 stars.
Unraveled is a massively emotional drama written by uber talented author, Aubrey Bondurant. Packed full of tension and anxiety, this story broke me into little pieces. Then I was whole again. I cried so many tears i thought i would never be quite the same. It moved me beyond comprehension. I was unable to stop thinking about it, long after I reached the end. The characters, though complex and filled with their own insecurities, were simple in their needs. They wanted the same thing when all was said and done. The content of this story is one everyone can relate to. This is why it hit me even harder. I loved this story with everything in me. I was swept away and I definitely unraveled. So beautifully. 5 stars.
Fictional-ish: A Friends to Lovers Romance by Natalina Reis is a friends to lovers romance and I am still not sure how i feel about it. I enjoyed it, but it is not one of my favourites from Natalina. It was and easy read but I really wanted to smack some sense into both Livie and Kyle the main characters and I really didn’t warm to them easily.
Livie’s best enemy has treated her like hell all their lives and always wanted what Livie had. The one thing that meant the most to Livie is the one thing that her best enemy took with no care for her actions nor others feelings. Livie’s heart is broken when her best friend picks another over her and takes a job out of the country hoping to heal.
Kyle is getting married to his best friends enemy and has lost his best friend and the one person who really loves him but being a typical man he thinks with his other head. When things get bad he takes a chance to reach out to the one person who had always stood by him.
It is an interesting read had had some funny moment and a few sad ones but once I was able to put aside my thoughts on the main characters it wasn’t to bad. I am waiting to see what comes next for Natalina.

“The Dark Sparrow Series” is a spin off of “The Women of Purgatory Series” and while I believe each book can be read on its own, there are threads that tie it all together. The characters all live in the same “world”. WILD BASTARD is book # 6 in both series and # 3 in the Dark Sparrow series. I think it is important/helpful to read each in order because there are so many cross over characters.
WILD BASTARD is a fast paced story and while I was going to read for a little bit on this gorgeous spring Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, I found myself not able to put the book down until I was finished.
I love reading strong female characters who work to lift other women up instead of putting then down. This action packed story certainly has its share of fabulous females.
From beginning to the end, this story is well plotted and has a very clear path as the story winds itself through the twists and turns. I am so glad the series is continuing because I’m not ready to say goodbye yet.

Edge of The Storm ( Silent Secrets Series #2 ) by Lisette Kristensen was a quick, action packed read. I haven’t read this author before so I’m not sure what genre they normally write.
This book might be a rough read for some who have issues with terrorism but if you can see past that, your going to love the book. Halo is a spy in Rome and is taken by a group of terrorists planning to destroy the Vatican and she is taken right in front of the others. Will Blackbird be able to come through and save her mentor?
The book was short since it was a Novella but was very fast paced and full of action. The way the book ended, this is not over!

Fictional-ish: A Friends to Lovers Romance by Natalina Reis is a sweet story. Livie and Kyle have been the best of friends since primary school but Kyle’s marriage has created a problem. Livie has had an enemy in Mia since they were young and now Kyle has married her. Livie is offered the chance to not only move but also open a new bookstore and jumps at the opportunity. Will Kyle figure out Livie loves him and as more than a friend? This is a sweet romantic story. The characters are relatable and I like the story is told from both point of views. I also enjoyed the Scottish setting. This was a fun story to read and I’m glad I picked it up.

Omg, ive read just about everything from this author and this one has taken the number 1 spot of best book to date. The emotions in this book were everywhere, i loved that the characters were able to laugh even through the tough times they were experiencing. Ive not personally dealt with or been through this but I felt like i was right there with them every step of the way. This is a must, must read.
Trickster Hunt is the first book the Three Tricksters series by Carrie Whitethorne. This Paranormal romance was a good read that follows Mia, a competitive eater who is in London for finals. After some irrational things happen three mysterious guys show up. No matter where she is these guys tend to be there as well and Mia cannot figure out why she is so drawn to them, and so are Amos, Rhett, and Silas. I really enjoyed reading this book, at first I had worried as I felt it went a little slow but by chapter three I was wanting to read more and more about Mia and find out about the men that were being drawn to her. I am excited to read the other books in this series and give the book 4 stars!!!
Say Something by Jennifer L. Allen is a remarkably written romance that I loved reading. This book had my emotions all over the place. I was happy one minute and wanting to cry the next. Jessica is broken, having to return home to small town four years after her divorce. Being back in the town that throws her into her and Danny’s past is almost too much. The good and bad memories, the need to still want and need him and that even now she still loves him. She doesn’t know if he will ever forgive her or is she can even forgive herself! This BOOK, I have tried for a few days go put into words how good it was. I could NOT put it down and read it in one sitting. I really do wish that the book itself was longer as I loved Jessica and Danny. I highly recommend this book and wish I could give it MORE than FIVE stars! This is my first book by this author and it WILL NOT be my last.

Wow I didn’t realize what infertile woman go through how strong they are and how you have to lean on your loved ones when you are going through something like this or you will lose yourself. The characters are well written and the secondary characters are amazing I really hope I get to read a story about Mickey soon. Beachcomber Enemy is book ten of the Beachcomber Investigations series by Stephanie Queen. These books should be read in order so you can see how the relationship develops between the characters. This book is faced paced similar to the other books in the series. The tension and drama keeps you on the edge of your seat.
I enjoy following these characters and the different cases they end up investigating. I love how the characters have developed through the series. There is always mystery and you can’t wait to find out what happens next. Definitely worth a read!!

This book is a perfect additions to the Beachcomber investigations series. This book has a little of everything you could want in a story, action, suspense and romance.
Dane and Shana are a fantastic couple. I love how fiercely protective Dane is of her, and it shows how much he loves her. When there is an attempt on their lives they work together to see if they can find the culprit. It seems Dane may not actually be the one in danger, it could be Shana? There are romantic scenes, heart skipping action scenes, one in which lands one character hurt and a friend they must rescue. I will say no more, read on to find out what happens and to whom.
I highly recommend this book, but more importantly the complete series. You can read this as a standalone but I would recommend starting from book 1, you will not regret it.
Say Something by Jennifer L. Allen a four-star read that will wrench your heart. This was a really emotional read and one that will wring out your emotions as you read, it’s a great story that should have been a five-star read but it lacked something I couldn’t put my finger on. Jessica and Danny have a heart-breaking story that will suck you in. Jessie is a great character and one that you will follow, she made the story for me.

Fierce Emotions (Marcy Series Book 8) by Linda Burson was an engaging, feels invoking read, that had me hooked.
The 8th book in this crazy amazing series, we follow our strong MC Marcy, as she settles into life with her men, child and baby to be. Their family dynamic is something else, but as much as you think you’d be bothered with it, you’re not, and that’s part of the magic of this series. Well written characters, strong plots and high strung mysteries, keeps the flow going and the blood pressure high. Now I will say that this series follows a continuous time line, and interconnecting multi layered plots, so I highly suggest reading these books in order, or you won’t get the full effect of Marcy, Liam, Brad, and their complex relationships.
Overall this book was on par with the rest, and I believe for me the best so far, but I think I say that about them all. So you can take that as, this series just keeps getting better, and better, and the writing never wavers. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that you will fall hard for this truly one of a kind read.

This is a super fun book to read. It contains three gorgeous, mysterious men and one 19 year old young lady. Who would think she could have such a following? Maia is a competitive eater and has won a week stay at a hotel in London. Now she has these three men following her. They told her, they were there for her protection. Now her journey has just begun. Everything is not as she would have thought.
Carrie Whitethorne has written a unique story. I love her characters and Maia has to be my favorite. Can’t believe she weighs so little and eats so much. That in itself made this story fun. Well, until things start happening. Her three protectors are strong and beautiful. The description of all three, put an amazing picture in your head. While this is a new author for me, I plan on reading more from her. I hope book two comes quickly! Hint, Hint.
Edge of the Storm (Silent Secrets Book 2) by Lisette Kristensen was an action packed thrill ride that had me gripped from start to finish. This was a taste of what I believe is going to be an awesome series.
Right out of the gate we’re shown what these agents can do. Deadly, there’s no other word needed to describe these ladies, deadly covers it all. Blackbird, is firece, I don’t think I would have held up like she did. I want to read more about this character. She doesn’t have much back story, but that added to her mystic, so reading the first book is a must, if you want to know more about this fierce deadly character.
This is a short read coming in at at about75 pages, making an already quick read, mixed in with the fast moving plot and action, over in a blink. I was left wanting more! The ending is a bit open, so I’m hoping that means there’s going to be more to this world. Going back to the plot, it was pretty solid, there were a few shaky spots, but I believe that has to do with the short length. A bit more time on the key plot twist would have made the story that much more epic. I believe this short read would make a thrilling exciting full length novel.
I highly recommend you pick up this fast pace, action packed, thriller. So please take my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval, that this book will keep you on edge, keep that blood up and, make you second guest any new character that seem to be… unimportant.

Oh how I loved this book!! This story was full of action and suspense. I love Blackbird and Halo’s characters, they are strong women that can kick some butt. You should definitely read the first book so you know how we got to where we are in this book. The author does an amazing job bringing you into this story and keeping me on the edge of my seat, turning pages to find out what happens next. I can’t say enough good things about this story and author so far as I get into this series. This is a must read and I can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen in the next book. The Vampire Queen by Brandi Elledge is book three in the Wheel of Crowns series. I really prefer reading these books in order but each book can be read as a stand alone. I feel like the Vampire Queen is my favorite of the series so far. This series is very well written. Tandi is an amazing main character! I want to read more books in this series!

Just after reading the first chapter. I know this is going to be outstanding! I loved the whole issue with the locking of the car door! So funny and something so small but adds so much to the story! I really can’t say which character I liked the best. I loved Tracker because of the alpha in him. His attitude and his thoughts were amazing. Kerri…first off her true name is so crazy…but I liked it! Then she is this princess of the Mc but she hates that life. She is so strong, smart, sassy and has attitude as well. She might have grew up in the MC but she worked hard to get out and doesn’t want any strings connecting her anymore. She changed her life for the better…..until Tracker arrives.
This is a story with twists, sexy alpha guys, strong sassy ladies and hot nights. I was drawn to these characters. They had me chuckling and just wanting to know more. The secondary characters added some fun and interesting moments to the story. Whether it was Butch and his yellow camero or Ms Violet with her special interest in her neighbors hot guys it all easily kept my brain engaged. I look forward to Hawks story and how life is going to shape up for these Lost Boys.

Say Something is a romance written by Jennifer L. Allen. This is a moving and emotional tale of love, life and all the hardships and trial of modern life. The writing flowed and the personalities of each character was interwoven seamlessly. The author had the incredible ability of snatching my attention from beginning to end. The author wrote about real life issues and how they dealt with them, both individually and together. A well balanced romance is not unique, but one that has a reader unaware of life going by because their devotion is to this story, now that is hard to find. An amazing journey and incredibly touching. 5 stars.

Tracking Numbers is book one in the Lost Boys MC series by Janice Whiteaker. This story is fast romance, rapid action, and endless entertainment. This is my first read from.this author, so anticipation was high and my excitement could hardly be contained. A high intensity drama that didn’t end. The unexpected was around every page turn. I never knew what to expect and love the adrenaline rush that was this story and the crazy, colourful characters that provided an unforgettable read. 4 stars.

Wrath (The Deadliest Sin Series Book 1) by Gwyn McNamee was a dark romance that will have you on the edge of your seat.
The first book in what I believe will be something amazing. This quick read gets your blood going right away, with a quick fire, dark prologue, before getting right into the smutty hotness of the MC’s. The stage was set beautifully, and when it was time for the real plot and bloody like action to get underway, It. Was. Glorious.
This book had a “Man of Fire” feel, with a bit of the “Equalizer”. I was hooked, hard. This novella read liked a full length book, and man oh man, I didn’t want the ride to end. Speaking of endings, I don’t know if I’m okay with it, cause, wow, I loved it, I’m a little mad at the author for it, but wow it was good.
Overall this book is a must read and a super high recommendation from me. So please take my golden stamp of approval that, you will love to hate, to be obsessed with this book.

Intense. Thrilling. Action-packed and emotional. Good grief…I think I only just picked my jaw up from the ground and relaxed my grip from the white knuckled ride I just endured. McNamee is a brilliant author that continues to surprise and delight me with every book I am blessed to read from her. Truthfully just an intense and emotionally raw journey that felt much larger than the number of pages of the book. Masterful, powerful, worthy of a second and third reading as quickly as possible. Just loved it.

This is a lovely story of romance, betrayal and realising love was in the one place you didnt think to look.
Livie and Kyle have been friends since school, although they both felt love for each other but never acted upon it.
Fast forward and Kyle is set to marry Livie’s worst enemy, a decision which leaves her heartbroken and devestated, so when the opportunity comes up to move to Scotland and run her own bookstore she jumps at the chance. Realising that he has messed up Kyle jumps on a plane to make things right and confess his love but with his ex wife still clinging on to him its not going to be a smooth journey.
Its a book full of romance and proves that if love is meant to be it will find a way

This story focuses on Soren Lund and Elena Sol. We have met Soren in the very first book. We have really seen this character evolve, and I was so excited to see how everything played out! I wasn’t disappointed! Aviva did a great job with Soren. He hasn’t had the best of luck with love! We did get to see some old characters, which was very nice. I really enjoyed this book.

Minx by Maggie Adams is a five star novel. I love how the author uses an older character and makes her sexy and necessary again. This was a nice quick read as we got to know Miranda. As an older woman, she thought she needed to take a break from relationships and just find herself. Then she finds herself, literally, in the lap of a complete stranger. He is gorgeous and with a voice that makes her weak. When he offers her a job, she knows she needs to take it even though she doesn’t believe she is qualified. After she starts the job, she realizes she can do the job and she isn’t too bad at it. When she meets her beau’s brother, she can’t decide whom she likes more. Then things start happening at the business the brothers are in charge of and she might have to take sides.
I have been a fan of this series since the first book, but Adrift in New Zealand might just be the best book in the series. Aviva Vaughn has done such an amazing job with this series; I really don’t want to see it end.
We last left with Soren happy in Costa Rica with Elena and finally feeling like he found his purpose. But what happens when life takes a turn and things change again for Soren. I liked Elena but I didn’t see her as his HEA. Halfway through I got a little worried for Soren; I have been heartbroken for him so many times I almost gave up hope on him finding that one true love.
Aviva, you have made this fangirl very happy with how this series has turned out. This is something I have wanted to happen since part 4. I will admit that screamed when he smelled roses and someone from the past showed up (HAPPY DANCE).
I recommended this series to everyone not only looking for romance – which is wonderful but for an adventure as well.

Trickster’s Hunt by Carrie Whitehorne is an interesting story. This is my first by Carrie Whitehorne and I found it a great story. There were times that I was a bit confused but I continues to read on and I am glad I did. There is an element of Egyptian Mythology, personally I love that subject, that in interwoven into the plot. There is also three genies and if you do not know anything about genies they are real tricksters like the title of the book leads you to believe. Maia is the main character and she is nineteen but acts like she is much older. Will Maia capture your mind and heart as she does mine?
