Along the way something from Evies past returns and causes alsorts of problems for her and Ryan and them getting to the truth.

Its a fun story with romance and murder mystery. I really enjoyed it.

Rewind by Rowan Shaw – Review by Angela Hayes

Rewind (Rewind #1)Rewind by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rewind is the first book in the Rewind Series by Rowan Shaw. It is a emotionally charged M/M, second chances story that pulled me in right from the beginning. The story is a little dark, and very sad in places- and my emotions were battered by what I was reading- but the story is so well written, and the characters were so ‘real’ that I would have walked over hot coals to find out what happens. The drama, chemistry, emotion, and a little suspense was brilliantly woven through the storyline. Ms. Rowan certainly knows how to tell a great story- writing a complex, thought-provoking, moving, memorable, and engrossing story.
Enzo and Florian were the very best of friends, turned lovers, during high school. They kept their relationship secret, until a traumatic event shattered their lives, leaving Enzo deaf and the two on separate courses. Now, a chance encounter reunites the two- much has happened in their lives since they last saw one another, but the sparks are still there. Will they get their second chance, or is there too much in their way to overcome?
A beautiful story about friendship, overcoming obstacles, being true to yourself, self-discovery, second chances, love, pain, heartache, and so much more…..
Bring on Book #2!

Thank you, Ms. Rowan!

Until Fools Find Gold (Providence Gold Book One) by Mary B Moore – Review by Angela Hayes

Until Fools Find GoldUntil Fools Find Gold by Mary B. Moore
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Until Fools Find Gold by Mary B. Moore took me on quite a ride. I didn’t expect to like it quite as much as I did, or to be completely swept up in the story as everything played out.
Luna and Levi were the best of friends, inseparable- until her father whisked her away in the middle of the night- with no contact, since. But now she’s in trouble and the only person she can trust to truly help her is Levi.
Back in the only place she ever felt secure, means seeing Noah again too. Luna and Noah both have feelings for one another, something they never spoke about or acted on, because he was her best friends’ older brother, and she was made off-limits by his brother. But now she’s back and Noah won’t let her slip through his fingers again. But her past doesn’t seem to want to let her go- and things are about to get ‘interesting’.
This story has so much going on in it, in a good way- from friendship and loyalty- to chemistry, love and emotion, there was so much to like about this book. Plenty of laughs helped to balance all the emotional, dramatic moments- and the characters tied it all together.
Looking forward to more from Ms. Moore!

Thank you, Ms. Moore!

What a fantastic and beautifully written book! This smart book has a little bit of everyone. Equal parts serious, funny, and sexy. I felt a very tangible connection to the characters and felt that the storyline had a very strong connection to the reader. Really enjoyed it and looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this story, but I am so glad I gave it a chance. This story drew me in from the beginning and kept me turning pages. I absolutely loved the characters Chloe and Locke, they are both strong and independent people in their own ways. They each have their own reasons why they don’t do relationships, but as your reading you just know that these two belong together. The author did an excellent job making me feel like I was there and getting me invested in these characters. There are also very interesting and wonderful other characters in this story that I would love to get to know better. This book has different aspects to it besides romance and I enjoyed every minute of reading it. I highly recommend this book and I will definitely be reading more books by this author.

This is one of my go to authors. The stories are always compelling and down to earth. The characters feel real and you are able to relate in some way. This story was no different. When you come face to face with temptation to resist is the hardest thing. I’m not sure I would be strong enough. The characters growth and emotions throughout the story capture and make you see things differently. I definitely enjoyed this one.

My heart hurts. I want me a man like Vincent. I really liked this story. The characters were well written and the plot was great. The author gave us a really good story. It wasn’t sad or depressing. The characters had interesting past but it didn’t make them different. I liked Deirdre. She could defend herself and give as much smack as she got. Her and Vincent were fireworks together. Family means a lot to me but I have learned that you have to cut people off to make yourself grow. Especially if they were holding you back.

Man With The Mafia By Debra J Falasco is a Romantic suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat turning the pages fast trying to figure out what happens next,I was hooked from the beginning till the last page.I barely came up for air untill I finished. Deirdre is a romance writer who is sassy and can be feisty as well.Vincent is a lawyer and a man who doesn’t really talk about his personal life and he doesn’t date,or the whole no strings attached until he meets Deirdre . There is definitely some attraction between them. Can she trust him ?What secrets is he hiding? Can these two have a future together? Find out what happens next, I highly recommend reading this Book. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

My favorite thing about any book is getting to know the characters. Deirdre and Vincent were wonderful characters to read about. Deirdre has a spunky attitude, but has struggles that she faces on a daily basis. Vincent is confident and a bit cocky, but he also has a good heart. He has overcome his family’s business. Deirdre’s and Vincent’s chemistry is instant and intense. They also faced ups and downs that neither could control. I loved so many secondary characters as well such as all of Deirdre’s roommates and Vincent’ cousin. I hope to read more about these characters! I feel that Debra Falasco did a fantastic job with this book. This is the second book in this series, and I cannot wait to read whatever is next.

I love the setting in France, and the character growth from both men. This is a second chance romance that tells the story of Enzo and Florian. This book brought out all of my emotions. I was laughing, crying, tearing my hair out and routing for this couple. I really enjoyed this story and all of the growth and heartache that both of these guys go through. Little Miss Eyes of Blue by Holly Tierney-Bedord – Review by Michelle Austin

Little Miss Eyes of BlueLittle Miss Eyes of Blue by Holly Tierney-Bedord
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Little Miss Eyes of Blue was a good four star read and the prequel to The Woman America Loves a Latte. We go back to Vee’s childhood to learn about where she came from and what she dealt with growing up.

My emotions were all over the place. We get a glimpse into how Vee’s parents met and fell in love. And what happened that caused things to fall apart for them. We continue to move forward as Vee grows up, seeing some heart wrenching things happen to her. All I can say is her parents were terrible and only thought about themselves.

There is so much more to this story. Overall I liked this story, it gave me a glimpse into why Vee is the way she is today. Holly does a great job of keeping you aware of what time frame and characters are in each chapter, the detail is great as well. However, the ending has left me with some questions that I hope we see in one of the next books. 1-click and get started today.

Wild Heart (Hollywood Hearts Book 4) by Belinda Williams – Review by Maura Harper

Wild Heart (Hollywood Hearts, #4)Wild Heart by Belinda Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

WILD HEART is book 4 and the first one I’ve read in the “Hollywood Hearts” series. It is absolutely a stand-alone and I am invested enough in the secondary characters that I have added books 1-3 to my TBR list.

The author wrote a very rich story. It’s full of friendships, second chances, first loves, family of origin vs family of choice and so so much more. The characters are all well developed and the story flows well from beginning to end. I looked at the cover AFTER reading the story and was surprised by the couple chosen to represent the story. They look nothing like I imagined. That’s one of the reasons I love reading so much; we can all interpret the words our own way.

One of the things I liked the most about this story is the strength of the female protagonist and the decisions the male protagonist made in his life to keep it “normal”. The thing that surprised me about this story is the emotion it pulled out of me. I cried a few ugly tears very close to the end (I won’t tell you why or exactly when) and that was unexpected for me. Nice job Ms. Williams!

I really enjoyed this story and would recommend it.

Reset to One (Paranormal Talent Agency Book 2) by Heather Silvio – Review by Emily Walsh

Reset to One (Paranormal Talent Agency, #2)Reset to One
By: Heather Silvio
My Rating: 5 of 5 stars

Reset to One (Paranormal Talent Agency #2) by Heather Silvio was a fun quirky read, that had a little bit of everything to keep me not only entertained, but flipping the pages.

Book two in this unique series, it’s fast becoming a favourite of mine. Following up from book one, we are following a new set of MC’s, new paranormal supers, and a new murder mystery. This out of the box read, brings a new fresh take on the supernatural, making the sort of cooky cutter mystery plot, exciting and interesting. As this story is short, I do get why that plot wasn’t as drawn out, but in all, I did like it. But most of all, I love the MC, Evie. I liked her in book one, (from her short appearance), but this book showcased her powerful personality and bluntness. She had me at “How do you know your friend didn’t do it.” You girl are savage.

Overall this book was a joy to read, and I can’t wait to read the next instalment. To end, this book gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Happy Reading

First, while this is book 4, I was able to read as a standalone. This follows a different couple than previous books it would seem and they do gloss over a little of what those characters have been through.

I’ll be honest and say I didn’t like Faith to start with but then I saw the cracks in her armor, and felt she was more relatable to me as the story went on.
I loved the mystery and twists and turns this book took. I didn’t suspect the right person and that’s a good mystery writer to me!

Can I get a Cole? I liked him from the start and how honest he was and funny too.

You won’t be disappointed with this book at all.

Autumn Sand put in a lot of effort to make this story flow and read easy without over complicating themes to bog the story down. This story does have adult situations that will make you angry, but do not let that stop you from reading this book. There are problems with her relationship of twelve years and not sure how to get over those feelings. In walk Tony who was a mystery to Anaya. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

My first book by Rowan Shaw and I did not know what to expect. I love reading books recommended to me and then surprise! I love it! I haven’t read a lot of male/male romances but this one was beautifully written.

“Everything was so peaceful; I was finally safe in his arms. Enzo was one of the few people who had never judged me. One of the few who had never put me down. He made me feel secure like no one else could I was nearly clutching him to make sure he was really here.”

The love between Florian and Enzo is so strong and heart stopping. These characters are strong, smart, and oh so sexy!

I love endings that, while are happy for the main characters, leave me asking questions and looking for the next book. Shaw did not disappoint! Looking forward to more!

First of all, the first PJ Santini book was amazing. It was a one sit read for me. When this book became available, I jumped to one-click it.
PJ Santini is a sassy, high-heel loving, novice gumshoe detective, PI and TV reporter. In this latest novel, PJ is investigating the case of her late husband, who she was married to for a very, very, very (you picking up what I’m laying down?) short period of time. Every new piece of information puts PJ in danger but with the help of super hot Tango Daly, her best friend Vicki and her cousin Sandro, she is determined to make it out on the other end of this alive.
I loved this book as much as the first and I am so looking forward to what other mischief PJ gets herself into. Highly recommended!

Until Fools Find Gold (Providence Gold Book One) by Mary B Moore is a compelling contemporary romance. Luna’s character is amazing, her past and present are pivotal moments in her life – within those, are the Townsend’s, in particular Noah. Such history is portrayed within this story creating in depth and multi-dimensional characters that are flawed, but exquisite in their entirety. Noah’s alpha tendencies are laid out within the story in the most talented ways making him a wonderful lead male character within this story. The emotional meter on this story is high, along with the drama, suspense and chemistry. Nothing is held back in this story and is beautifully written. I cannot wait to see what Mary B. I have read previous books by this author and I’ve always enjoyed them but this book was nothing at all like i expected in a good way!!! Quickly and easily I found myself fully immersed in these characters and thief story. I realm enjoyed the fact that it was a bit different to other vampire stories as well. It wasn’t just the same old same old.
The supporting characters for me also made a difference in this book. I actually found myself just as intrigued by some of them as I was of the main characters.
This book was brilliant and such a good read. I would highly recommend this to everyone!

Garrett (Dark Water Security #2)Garrett by Madison Quinn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read a couple of books from this author and she continues to blow my mind. This is the second book of the Dark Water Security series. I absolutely love second chance romance but this book exceeded all my expectations. This book can be read as a stand alone but there are prior characters in this story as well. I was so excited when I got this book I dropped everything and started it right away. This story had me hooked from the first page and it only took me a full day to devour this incredible story.

When Garrett first saw Hope he knew they had something. They had an unforgettable night together but when he wakes up the next morning she was gone. Garrett was lost without her but he found his calling by protecting people. He is hired to protect a new tech millionaire. Garrett is shocked when he finds out that his Hope is the cook for this man. He still wants answers from that night but when he mentions it to Hope she doesn’t want to discuss it. They start to get know each other all over again and they quickly realize they still have strong feelings for one another. Garrett starts to find out some things about their boss that can put him and her into danger. Will Garrett be able find out where the danger is coming from or will it be too late?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, mystery, and suspense. You will fall in love with these characters. Garrett looks really tough on the outside but deep down he wants to find his one. He loves his job and he will do anything for the ones he loves. The way he treats Hope will make your heart melt. Hope is a beautiful woman. She had a devastating thing happen to her but it made her stronger. Hope is one of my favorite female characters of the year. I loved that despite of her fears she faced them and it gave her more strength. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This talented author will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end. I can’t wait to see what she will write for us next.

The story Until Fools Find Gold: A Providence Gold Series and Until Series Crossover by Mary B. Moore is a wonderful book that I enjoyed reading. It drew me in and I found myself lost in the story. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Luna and Noah. Luna is a young woman whose father has packed them up and left town. No contact to be make with anyone. She has run away and now is in the security of her best friend Levi and his family. She also finds herself close to Noah. Noah has been warned to stay away from Luna. There is an attraction that can’t be denied. He is protective of her, he is determined to keep her safe. He wakes up the day after their wedding and she is gone. He vows to find her. Read this book for the full story of Luna and Noah. This is a book that is romantic and also humorous. The bantering between the characters made me smile. There are also some scenes that are steamy and will have you reaching for a cold glass of water. I also enjoyed reading about the character of Levi. He is a good friend to Luna and cares about her. I grew to care about Luna and Noah with each chapter that I read. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story that you won’t want to put down until you have read the final page. Highly recommended.

This is a seriously great story! It has equal parts of serious, sexy and hilarious. This is a first time author for me and I can’t imagine how I have missed her before! She covered all of my favorite things and had me laughing out loud to boot. These characters stole a little piece of my heart. The story is built on the best friends brother genre. Kind of tension filled but Oh So GOOD to read. The story was all fun and games until my heart gets ripped out. I’m left in awe of the MCs. They so deserve each other!

I really love to laugh and this story had me covered. OMG! The Apple juice scene Had me near tears! So so good!! As well as her drivers Ed story! I have been there, girl! I HAVE been there! I also enjoyed the definition of Golden Townsend at the beginning of the book. It kind of sets the tone. Also Don’t miss the Epilogue! SERIOUSLY! Make sure you read it! Perfect ending!

Garrett (Dark Water Security #2)Garrett by Madison Quinn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Garrett is the 2nd book in the fantastic Dark Water Security series. I adored book 1 in the series ‘Luke’ and was looking forward to getting to know the other members of the Dark Water Security team. This book did not disappoint.
Garrett is an ex-marine and is a new member of the Dark Water Security team. As an ex-marine, I expected Garrett to be a hard and unyielding character, whereas he turned out to be a sweet, loving guy who I couldn’t help but totally adore. Yes, he was mentally tough and would do anything to protect Hope and their boss Mr Mayer but there was a sweet, vulnerable side to him which made him very appealing.
I also adored Hope. Coming through such a traumatic event in her past had made her build up walls which seemed unbreakable but would Garrett be the man that got those walls to crumble? Over 2 years previously Hope and Garrett had met at a wedding and had an amazing night together but when he woke in the morning Hope was gone. Garrett has spent the last 2.5 years wondering what happened that night and now he will do everything to find out.
In this book Garrett is working as security detail to Mr Meyer and Hope is Mr Meyer’s live in housekeeper. Will those who are out to hurt Mr Meyer end up putting Hope in danger? Not if Garrett has anything to say about it!

Ever since I dropped this on my TBR list I have been anxiously awaiting its turn to pop up. Not sure why other than I am an animal lover and love next door neighbor romance books not to mention hot military guys! This did not disappoint! I really enjoyed so much about this story. The love of family, the therapy and K-9 dog, the broody next door neighbor and the hard working girl.

The characters were real, fun and sassy. Caleb was as prickly as a cactus at the beginning and by the end he was as smooth as molasses. I loved watching/reading his transformation. Kerry was wonderful as well. She made improvements in her life but still had some struggles. The secondary characters added so much to this. They really helped make it come to life but they didn’t overtake the main characters.

This is a first time author for me. I was easily able to keep my focus on the book and really read it fairly quickly. I will have to check out her first in the series and I look forward to reading her books again.

Rewind (Rewind #1)Rewind by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

REWIND is Rowan Shaw’s debut novel that simply was a powerful and moving read. The author has given us a story where two characters have found love but also dealt with family and homophobic society. Every character that was given to us were so well created and a story line that drew me into this M/M romance. The author and her amazing writing was able to pull so many emotions from me, sadness, happiness, and angry that truly made this story stand out and PULL me into a one sitting read.
The story follows Florian and Enzo who dated in high school and tragedy tore them apart. Then fate brings them together and that SPARK is still there. Both still hurt from what is happening in their lives they are not sure if what they are feeling is rebound, they build a friendship.
This book simply had enough romance, drama, and darkness. I highly recommend this book and really cannot wait to read more from this author!
