I give Naomi (Maggie Trilogy Book 2) by Mya O’Malley. **This review may contain spoilers from book one in the series.**
I was so enthralled by the first book in this series and was anxiously awaiting what book two held for me. The author did not disappoint in the least. The people you loved and loved to hate are back and they make you feel like you are a part of their town. You can see the struggles they have faced, but are determined to put the past behind them. There are a couple new characters we meet too and I hope to see more of them.
The story alone is something in and of itself. There is another ghost involved, but this one is much more dangerous. The story is so enthralling as they not only work on getting rid of this viscous ghost, but solve the truth behind his death too. Besides the fact that I love these characters, the story itself was enough to make me unable to book the down. Not to mention it is different enough to not feel like you’re reading the same story over again. It really is a wonderful book.
I highly recommend this book series to those who like suspense stories surrounding ghosts.

I have followed the Code Raven books from the very beginning and was super excited to get my hands on this seventh book in the series, The Istanbul Conspiracy! This book would draw you in if you haven’t read the stories previous to this one just from the gorgeous cover alone! I adored that and it drew me in and set me up for the adventure that was behind the cover.
This book really brings the action and intrigue! Never a dull moment for the Raven team as they work hard to figure out who is behind a mass casualty event. Will they unearth a terrorist organization or will it be something completely unexpected? I loved how this made me feel as if I was right there as the action happened. It had me waiting and reading with baited breath as things played out to see how everything would come to a conclusion. A minor cliffhanger was there and so again I wait and am excited to get my hands on the next Code Raven book!

I have really enjoyed the Satan’s Devils MC Colorado chapter up till now. Now, I absolutely adore this! Ink’s Devil is probably my favorite Manda Mellett book yet to date and I will be owning and rereading this many many times. This is book five of the series but could probably be read as a standalone novel if you haven’t had the chance to read the rest. I would recommend that you do though because this story is one that grows and shows a family and the way they work together amongst the MC.
I won’t divulge the gritty details of this story because the way it is written you know that the surprises were intentional and oh so good. This book didn’t play out the way I had thought it would at first and I absolutely loved the way it surprised me at every bend in the story. I adored Ink and Beth ends up being the absolute perfect match for them. I was rooting for these two from the very beginning. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this gripping series!

“Vigilante Justice Thriller Series” features Jake Wolfe and his dog Cody (and don’t we all love a good book with a good dog?) and the many adventures they take while taking care of business.
Each book could be read as a stand-alone (I read 2 and 3 before book 1) but read in order is a treat. There are common threads and relationships that flow so well through each story. Each character is well developed including Cody. Cody a good boy and a great companion to Jake. We even get to hear his thoughts at times.
This is a series that is filled with suspense and fast paced action, at times I was reading as fast as I could because I just had to know what happened next. Sometimes the outcome what not what I expected.
I absolutely recommend this series, especially when it is packaged as a box set. What a treat.

Okay so firstly I’m an complete sucker for a second chance romance I mean who isn’t, to have the second chance to finally get true love what isn’t to love about that! This storyline took me on a mega emotional rollercoaster my devil side of me just wanted to get to skip to the end to find out if they get together (I didn’t I was good!). It was a novel i could just sit down and get completely lost in their world and get away from reality for abit which is magical and truly powerful how a brilliant written storyline can just make you forget about the world even if it’s just for a little while! I absolutely love this author and I truly can’t wait to read more from her!

What a great second read part of the Maggie Trilogy. Once again I was completely engrossed and my eyes were just glued to my kindle. The storyline certainly didn’t disappoint with mystery and paranormal suspense, I must admit I use to avoid anything involving paranormal storylines but I have changed my views and now can’t get enough of them especially when I set my sights in novels like this where i just lose myself amongst the pages.

I loved reading the book Taming Zane (Almost Perfect Series Book 2) by Lisa Lanay. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and I found myself lost in an amazing romance story. I loved reading about the characters of Shannon McGregor and Zane Taylor. Shannon is an intelligent, independent, and beautiful woman. When traveling to San Francisco she can’t help but notice Zane and how good looking he is. Then it is Zane who comes to the rescue when she needs it the most and she finds herself falling for him. Zane is a man who is dedicated to his career and doesn’t do relationships. He, however, finds that he is beginning to have feelings for Shannon. One steamy night. How much would Shannon and Zane be willing to sacrifice in order to be together? What does the future hold for Shannon and Zane? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. There were times when I had a smile on my face, laughing out loud, and finding that I couldn’t help but root for Zane and Shannon to find happiness. I enjoyed reading about the interactions between Zane, Shannon, and the other characters in the story. This is a book that is heartwarming and sweet. I highly recommend reading it.

I read the first book in this series and I loved it, but I have to say that I loved this one even more!! Naomi had already found a place in my heart but in this story we got to know her better and see how strong she truly is. Naomi has found herself in a wonderful relationship and after helping Maggie she thought she would be able to concentrate on her life now, but it doesn’t seem to work out this way. Just when you think you figured out what’s going on there’s a twist that takes you by surprise. This book had me hooked from start and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. I can’t wait to read the next one in the series!! I highly recommend this book and this author, she is an amazing writer.
Naomi is the second book in Mya O’Malley’s Maggie trilogy. It is a ghost story, centring around the protagonist Naomi who has the ability to see ghosts. In the first book, she solved the mysteries surrounding the death of a young woman who was buried in the graveyard at the end of her garden. In this book, it gets a lot more personal and dangerous with a ghost seemingly bent on ruining the happiness Naomi has found.
This is an enjoyable, gripping series. There’s lots of mystery and the reader is dropped enough clues that, over time, we begin to piece things together. Naomi is often in danger making for a tense, thrilling read. I couldn’t put the book down!
Naomi is a great continuation of the series. It builds on what we’ve already learnt of ghosts and what they want and after capable of. We get to see the development of Naomi’s relationship with Bryce and Holly too, and see Bryce struggle to accept and support Naomi’s calling in life.
For me, this is a five star book. I’d recommend it to fans of ghost stories and mysteries. It’s definitely worth reading the books in order as the events of Naomi very much follow on from the first book, Maggie.

The story Never Date a Siren (College Fae Book 1) by Byrd Nash is a fantasy book that I loved reading. It tells the tale of Logan Dannon and Brigit. Logan is a college student who finds out the hard way about the mythical creatures that attend the same college as he does. He finds himself having to navigate the fae’s code of honor to survive. Brigit is a fae. She finds herself with Logan, a human roommate in which she has been placed under a fairy debt. She finds herself helping to undo another fae’s love spell. Will she be successful? Will Logan be able to pass the semester? What does the future hold for Logan and Brigit? Read this book to find out. The author does an amazing job in world-building. You are fully immersed in the world of the fae and how they interact with other mythical creatures as well as humans. This is a book that once I started couldn’t put down until I had finished the final page. I found myself rooting for Brigit and Logan to be successful. This is a story that I would recommend reading.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book, and I was not disappointed. I don’t even know where to begin with this review. I’ll start with what I’ve said all along about this series, I love these people, I love this MC which is so unique, different than any MC series I have ever read.
I do wish I had gone back and either reread Written in The Stars or refreshed my memory or had made notes on my review because it took me quite a bit to remember everything. I know I was waiting on an answer from the end of #2 and I still don’t know if I got that answer, so that leads me to making it very clear you MUST read these in order, this is a continuing story and isn’t just about the Fallen Eagles MC, it focusses on these people, these awesome, broken, amazing people! There are parts of this book that had me rolling with laughter, there are parts that had me so angry I could scream, there were parts that tore my heart out, this author hit every emotion possible.
This one as of this second is my favorite so far…My feelings were all over the map and I’m not even kidding when I say I connected so strongly with this whole story. My heart cracked more than once and I had to put the kindle down because I couldn’t see through the tears. I love how this author didn’t skim over certain issues in this book…She brought all of these characters to life and told the great parts, the funny parts, the sad parts, and the self destruction parts, she didn’t hold back and more than once I felt like I knew these people. The Family aspect of this story …sigh…. Was out of this world, not just the real family but the MC family as well.
I can not recommend this series high enough, it was already one of my favorites and this installment just solidified that. I can not explain how Im looking forward to the next, I have a feeling that story is going to destroy me, I’ve already planned a reread of this whole series before that one comes out.

Kermode was a very good story! I haven’t read the first one, but this one seemed like a stand alone novel. This was a great, short, shape-shifter story. I loved the Native American aspect to it. It was funny, it was sweet, it was kind of predictable but in a good way! There was definitely some steam in the novel! Kudos to Maggie Adams on this story, I can’t wait to read the second story!

I loved this book just as much as the first one. This book was a lot darker taking into account the darkness and mind games that Nick used in his life.
Neomi is haunted again by a spirit that needs help to cross over. However this time the spirit is her ex Nick.
Neomi is setting out to help unravel the mystery over Nicks death but Nick is a violent and angry spirit that takes out his frustration out on Neomi.
The things he does and things he showns Neomi sending her mad to the point she doesnt know who she is or what shes capable of anymore.
With Bryce at her side can they stand against Nicks evil to uncover the truth around his death or will Neomi be send crazy first.
Game of Fear – A gripping psychological thriller with a shocking twist (Fearless Series) by Glede Browne Kabongo lives up to its title. It is a YA thriller that is a little slow to start with but it builds and you are thrown into the psychological game of who is behind the taunts, the demands, the threats, the suspense continues all the way to the end when a twist you did not see coming is brought to the fore.

Ink’s Devil is the fifth instalment in Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter by Manda Mellett. This story was definitely not what I was expecting- in a really great way!! Lots of emotion, some drama, so much chemistry, and lots more.
I have loved all the books in the Satan’s Devils series, including this ‘spin-off’ series- the ‘Colorado Chapter’- and this story doesn’t disappoint. It has everything I love about this series, and Ms. Mellett’s wonderful characters. These two really pulled me into their story, I was rooting for them every step of the way. The character development, as expected, was really on point- and the character growth through the story was wonderful to see. Next book please!!

Ink’s Devil: Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #5 by Manda Mellett. Once again this author shows me why I read everything she offers readers. Again I found myself up well into the night hook to every word written. This book can be read as a stand-alone but I do highly recommend all the others. Ok I’m pretty sure I’ve become a broken record but these main characters may just be my favorite ones yet. They completely had me drawn into their world. They are so well developed I couldn’t help but root for them and wish I wasn’t just reading about them. The storyline is well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. This author has a smooth writing style that hooks you from page one. I’m so excited to see where we’re taken next. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

Second Chance: The Conclusion of the Flowers in December Trilogy by Jane Suen ended this trilogy perfectly.
Connor has figured out that he and Tom belong in their hometown, and Mary Ann Isabella need to part of their lives when they get home. Life doesn’t always work out the way you want it, but every now and again life throws a break your way.
As much as I liked the humans in this story I really had a special place in my heart for the cats. Oh and Mrs. Steele even though she wasn’t a huge part of the story line.
If your looking for a sweet story then I suggest you read this entire series.

The Fat Girl’s Guide to Loving Your Body by K.L Montgomery is a book that makes you think. A LOT! For that reason I wanted to hate it, I was able to relate to so much of what she was saying.
I found myself relating to things I had never consciously thought and certainly never verbal said out loud until last night when I mentioned to my husband that I had been reading this book and how much work I have to do. This is one book I plan on reading more than once.
I’m a large woman, have been overweight since puberty hit and my younger daughter is following down the same path. I know I have asked her if she really wanted the food she was about to eat and talked to her about making better decisions. That ends today.
I highly recommend this book and suggest you read it no matter your size or your relationship with food.

Wow! I never thought I could get into reading a crime style writer boy was I wrong! What a great book series I highly recommend this series. I really got into the story and was very pleased with the details and description of the cases. Mrs. O’Flynn has you following a killer and his thoughts as well as following the victim as she struggles to continue her life. The characters in the story are described so well you can picture him in your head as you read along. Once you start reading you won’t want to put it down! Then you get pulled in further with Conviction! I’m looking forward to the Repressed!

Lillie ( Maggie series book 3) by Mya O’Malley “If Naomi thought solving three murders was going to earn her a respite from the spirits who flock to her for guidance and resolution, she couldn’t have been more wrong.”
Wow, She’s done it again folks another great book from Mrs. Mya O’Malley! Lillie makes you feel like you’re in the depths with Naomi! Naomi feels like her life is settling down she has married her amazing husband Bryce and has a Step-Daughter Holly, Just when she thinks she’ll get to settle in the spirits contact her again. Once again She’s on the case and is working through all the Mystery’s she needs to solve, even having Holly’s friend Lillie in the mix to make things even more confusing. This is a must-read book series! I would suggest reading them in the order of the series, but you can read them out of order because of Mya’s amazing writing Style where she flows the last book into the next book you could follow along.

This is the third book that i have read by this author and this one was just as good as the others. It can be read as a standalone but this series is great so i would recommend reading all of the stories because there is reoccurring characters ! This is a paranormal story that had suspense, mystery, and craziness all wrapped up in one story that kept me on the edge of my seat at times. This book was a good one and i enjoyed it. It was a fantasy filled with action and danger. It was intriguing and it kept my attention and i read the book in one setting. The characters were interesting and i was looking forward to seeing where their stories were headed. I absolutely loved this book. From the first chapter and on, it kept me hooked. I love abbie- our main female character. She is so smart and goes through trying to figure out who is blackmailing her, with normal emotion and also some serious smarts. Every character is extremely well established. I cannot wait to read the next book by Glende! New author for me, but I will definitely be back! If you like characters that are fully developed and stories that keep you hooked- this is the book for you!

The Istanbul Conspiracy (Code Raven Book 7) by Lynda Filler 4 Stars
Luke and Samaar are finally getting married. Of course the day gets cancelled because they need to save the world again. DJ Turk and the daughter of the Minister of Defense of Istanbul tried to get married as well but theirs ended much more violently. The Raven Group gathers in Turkey to figure out what went wrong. Some conspiracies run deeper than others. Luke has to work with some other top secret agencies to figure this one out.
Another action packed, high intense espionage novel by Lynda Filler. I’ve read a few other books in this series and I’ve noticed the author’s writing strengthen throughout. This is the best book so far in the Code Raven series. The story is full of twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Everything is connected and boy, what an ending! A great read about consequences. Dagda is the all father of Celtic mythology who has broken all the rules. To protect his family and legacy, Dagda has been wiping his daughter Katels memories for years. But when a young boy named Brant enters her life, strange things start to happen. As events unravel, Katel rediscovers her memories and finds a legacy she didn’t know she had as danger approaches. Can she stand up to her father and make him see the consequences before it’s too late? A great read. Well developed put with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Katel standing up for herself but also vulnerable and unsure. Great cast of supporting characters like the wise Gwen or the supportive Freya or the manipulative Dagda. I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the green forest with its tall trees and herbs and flowers and spirits for a sense of a fairy tale forest full of magic and wonder and beauty. I also loved the contrast in the forest later on with the use of blacks and greys for a sense of destruction wonderfully written. I also loved the use of the weather throughout with the deep dark clouds for a sense of foreboding and pathetic fallacy with colours getting darker throughout was a lovely touch. Or with the visions with their sounds and smells and sights so vivid its as if you’re actually there. A great example of world building with fantastic beings with their own rules and laws and societies living alongside humanity. I loved the use of Celtic and Norse mythology given the respect they deserve and true to their origins, wonderfully written. The only issue I would raise is that I would have liked a list and pronunciations of the names of the Celtic gods and creatures to help the reader follow things more easily. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars.

From the First page of this, I was hooked. I’ve always loved time travel stories, and this one was no exception, if anything it set the bar higher for any other time travel books I’ll read after this one. I loved the amount of detail and attention that was put into this book. From all the different characters and the different worlds and how it built up and all intertwined. Often times with books with several characters it’s hard to keep up, but this one I didn’t struggle hardly at all, and the handy guide in the beginning was also very helpful. I recommend this 100% to anyone who loves a detailed story, time travel, and sci fi/fantasy. I am anxiously anticipating the next book! 5 out of 5 stars.

I really enjoyed this book as it is yet again another great read from this author. I could really relate to the author’s characters and found her writing to be quite refreshing. The way in which she used the character’s grief process and brought them together really made for a realistic and enjoyable read.
I can really relate to Connor and how he was adjusting in his grief for the loss of his mother as I too have lost my mom in recent times. I like how the relationship between him and Mary Ann progresses. The chemistry between the two is electrifying and their shared grief of past losses is just the bit that makes their bond stronger. I also like that they are both cat people as again I can relate and that their cats both like one another two. I really enjoy this author’s books and I will definitely read more from this author in the future.

Second Chance: The Conclusion of the Flowers in December Trilogy by Jane Suen Four Stars
Second Chance is the last book in the Flowers in December Trilogy and the book I have been waiting for. I have enjoyed the whole series but this book really tied things up. This book could be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend this series in order. Conner and Mary Ann’s story was sweet and just what I needed after the holidays. Jane Suen does a great job with the short HEA stories that make you feel good reading. I look forward to seeing what she has in store for us next. Review by @sunbarn
