I love the way that this author proves that you can connect in so many ways with so many different people, able to care, and have a love and adoration for all of them in some way, shape or form. Even with this being the case, it’s easy to feel alone in the world, especially when things aren’t playing out the way you thought they would or should.

The way that Titania is so young, yet so wildly wise beyond her years, makes for a fantastic read. Of course, her age shines through on occasion, but that’s to be expected. I very much enjoyed the way the story is written in first person, and we get to see the world, responsibilities, and trials and tribulations through her eyes. Along with the love and strength emanating from our heroine, she exudes strength, power, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to protect her people and her kingdom. I haven’t read the first installment in this series yet but will be starting that as soon as possible. The depth of the world building this author puts into this novel is wonderful, and I can’t wait to see what happens next. Well done!

I enjoyed this suspenseful story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her yet. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the author’s use of details to make the story realistic. It is a well written story that was not only hard to put down but also engaging. It is fast paced and full of action. This is a story about family, secrets and trust. It is a story that will pull at your heart strings in parts and leave you sitting on the edge of your seat the next. I enjoyed how the characters are relatable and brought the story to life for me. They are strong, determined and have a touch of magic as well. This is a story where searching for a dad becomes more than what this character was expecting. What happens next I highly recommend reading this book. It has great plot growth as well as character growth throughout the story. This is worth the pick up and you don’t want to miss it.

I was so excited to be back in the Fae Realm again. Can you imagine being so young and so much resting on your shoulders? This story is filled with love, heartbreak, bravery and strength. All in the name of what’s best for the kingdom. I enjoyed the sequel just a as much if not more than the first. I cannot wait to see what’s Next for Titania. This author has easily become a favorite.

This was a really good book and a great sequel! I’ll admit it took me a little bit to get into this one, because it’s been so long since I have read the first installment and I had to play catch up and remember the events leading up to this one. But once I remembered and started getting into this one it was hard to put down. So many great characters were back, and the plot and storyline were just as good (if not better) than the first book. There were several twists and turns to me that I enjoyed. This series is absolutely enthralling and I have enjoyed them. It doesn’t allude to it at the end, but I really hope there’s another story to embark on in the future!

The character development and world building was as well done, if not better, than the first book. Another perfect installment and I cannot walt to see what’s in store next for our heroine!

I really enjoyed this sci-fi adventure story. The author does an amazing job of world building and the description of the world inside the cave to the world outside the cave is what really makes the reader feel they have crossed over into another place.

The characters are well written. Both are adventurous and wanting to learn more about the place they have found no matter how crazy it seems.

The main point of this story for me is the characters resilience and their determination to survive what ever this new world throws their way. Using only their combined knowledge they need to figure out what this place is and why its there. What I liked is the fact that the characters do get things wrong which makes them feel very real and human.
You are taken on a adventure into a strange unknown world. And they only have their  knowledge and health  to survive the tasks and things that will be thrown at them. Will they survive this unique and different world?

I enjoyed this adventure story. This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed their writing style as well as their attention to details. This is a well written story where the characters pull you in from the beginning. It is a story about Thomas and what happens when he sets out on a hike. The thing about this hike is something that he did not expect and an adventure of a lifetime. He is a great character that brought the story to life. He made me want to know what was going to happen next. This is a fast paced story that will take you on an adventure that was hard to put down. An engaging story that you don’t want to miss. I enjoyed the character growth as well as the growth of the plot. I really enjoyed this book and what the characters brought to the story. I highly recommend it.

While I am not one for historical mysteries, I was in the mood for something different.

When the Viking leader dies, it becomes the responsibility of the Earl of Orkney to choose a replacement and also solve the mystery of who killed the previous leader.

What made this such an engaging read is that I could not figure out who the killer one, since most of the characters had a motive and it could be any one of them. The surprise was who did it.

I have not read the previous novel but I plan to know more about the characters and their backstories.

I do not know what to give anything away, but I would definitely recommend it. I hope there is another book so I have more to look forward to reading.

This is my first book by this author. I really enjoyed this story. It was full of action and adventure, with a few twists thrown in. The story was written well with a nice flow to it. Lydia’s boyfriend has been kidnapped and she has to go into the jungle to save him and faces many obstacles along the way, including her ex-boyfriend who’s helping her through the jungle, and some strangers along the way. Can she survive the harshness of the jungle and save Cam? Give it a read and find out!

A nonfiction/self-help/business book with spunk and fun. Who woulda thunk it?

I’m simply in love with this book. The author approaches what can be a daunting topic or idea with truth, insight, tips, and levity. This book isn’t just good for tips for selling your item(s), ideas, trade, etc., at Conventions, but can easily be applicable to everyday life aspects.

Some things are common sense, but it’s nice to have the reminder of things when making that checklist or practicing your sales pitch. Here, she also explains how sometimes not quite meeting a goal can be a good thing and better for you in the long run (gasp!).

I also enjoy how the author broke down each aspect that she was talking about and took you step by step through things, starting at the beginning: create your thing, then look into how to sell your thing (here, at Cons!).

I loved the way the author wrote and the way things flowed. This may be a nonfiction slash self-help slash business based book, but it has me interested in her fictional work(s), which I will be seeking out to add to my TBR (to be read) list.

This is the second book of the Titans of Manhattan series. Although it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the first book as well (it’s great). This is Anton and Elsa’s story… and what a story it is! It is beautiful and heartbreaking and fabulous. The author has done a wonderful job at writing one of the best real life fairytales I’ve ever read. It deals with miscarriage, and infertility, as well as drug and alcohol abuse. (If these are triggers for you, you may not want to read this; but the outcome is inspiring.) Elsa and Anton’s story is imperfectly perfect.

It started off great with some major life changes for her, and as I read I became more and more interested in what was to come. I personally think that the storyline is great, but it was a very slow read for me. With as many levels there are too this book it might have been better served as a series.

I did not know what to expect with this book, but thoroughly enjoyed it. Comicon is foreign to me having never been (always wanted to go), but after reading her book I was ready to pack up and go. The information she gave was fun, insightful, and given in a way that I did not feel overwhelmed. All the facts and advice given felt practical and something that a beginner starting at Comicon would use to be successful. I loved the pictures and side stories she shared, and especially enjoyed the ways she gave to sell yourself. This book genre is one I have not explored before, but I would definitely pick up again, and I plan to also make sure I check out one of her books!

I loved this book just as much as the first in the series. There is amazing world building and the description of the kingdoms are very well detailed. Dark evil lies below and the humans walk above, the fae live in Middle Earth between the two. The characters are easy to relate to even though they are fae and fly everywhere. Sometimes I forget that they are living and flying in Middle Earth and not humans walking around the castle and gardens! Queen Titania is strong willed and determined to keep her kingdom safe. I want all teen girls to read this series to learn what a strong and independent woman is capable of – even when others have doubts! There are ups and downs and it is an action packed page turner. I couldn’t put it down and hope another book is coming soon so I can stay in touch with some really great characters.

So…before I started flying, I thought the militia was just a bunch of assholes who were spreading rumors about magic to cover up their incompetence, but once I started flying, I saw things differently. Flying meant that magic was real, and therefore it was logical that magic was involved in the jail break and the congressman’s disappearance. And that meant I was not the only one who had magic. Someone else in my town had magic too.
This book is a dystopia/magical realism novel set in the near future. There’s some political satire, some swearing, some recreational drug use, some crime, but mostly it’s a story about trust, secrets, and love.

This is the 5th book in this series and while you can read this on its own, you can appreciate it more if you read the other 4 books before this.

I really enjoyed this book, it kept me reading and attached to the characters I was reading about. Its not often you read a story about an already married couple who have a pretty strong relationship and how they work through the problems that come along and that i think is what really kept me enjoying this more and more.

Titania is a young queen but that doesn’t make her a foolish ruler. She has such insight for a girl her age and unfortunately a lot of responsibility. She handles it all well, and still she is put under surveillance for her actions in saving her realm and possibly that of the one above. No one seems to really appreciate what she has sacrificed and continues to sacrifice for protecting the realm. Throughout this book, she continually feels alone and struggles with her self-worth. Will she be able to see the help that is right in front of her in time to save the realm again? Will her actions be enough to prove that she always puts her kingdom first?

This is the second installation in this series, and I am glad it is not going to be the last! I mean… there has to be more! I enjoyed meeting new characters, finding out more about the realm, and reading all the changes that Titania went through in this book. She continually made good decisions, even when they were hard. She was able to find strength in others in the least expected places. While my heart broke for the good-byes she had to say, I was thankful that she didn’t rush to replace the holes that were left on her heart. She is figuring out who she is on her own, and I appreciated reading that.

True YA book. This is an excellent read.

I have recently found a love of mythical/magical stories and so when I came across this one with the amazing cover art I knew I had to give it a try. This is a beautiful coming of age story of a fae princess named titania.

The book starts off right in the action with finding out the fae kingdom is under attack and King Oberon dismissing Titania to keep her safe as she is his only surviving child after losing his sons in the war. Eager to prove herself, Titania takes some carefully calculated risks and ends up securing a little bit of peace from their current enemy. After having proven herself King Oberon decides to give up his reign to Titania even though she is only 15 making her not only the only female ruler but also the youngest. However, her reign might be short lived as it is being challenged by those that have served her family for generations. Titania must overcome many challenges and stereotypes during her reign. Is she the best ruler for her kingdom or should she find another to take her place? What about this mystical power that her mother and Titania possess and what does it have to do with her family?

This is such a detailed storyline and possesses amazing descriptive scenes that make you feel as if you are right there in the book with Titania as she chooses the path not only best for her family but also for her fae kingdom. For thoses like myself, who have daughters, this book struck a chord and added a level of emotion as I can picture the things my girls may have to overcome simply for being female. It is amazing to see such a well written female led book that I am so excited to read the second book in this series and find out what is next for Titania.

Journey to Middle Earth with a Fae Queen

So I have to say, I actually didn’t pick up the first read, and started this series with the #2 story with Titania. The story is strongly gripping, and I can easily see that the Fae have done some major development in their adventures so far. I will certainly be picking up the first novel so I can see how the Fae Queen’s journey began.

If you are questioning picking up this series, you won’t be disappointed. Fae, Middle Earth, strong companionship, difficult choices, a kingdom in need of justice only a young heroine can redeem!!! What more could you ask for in a fantastical journey to Middle Earth?

I love with this author with everything within me! This amazing author always gets me hooked on their stories they wave and paint the picture of! This series has quickly become one of my favorites, I enjoyed the story of the previous, but this one had a lot of character recognition built up and as a reader, I was able to play off that, and see the growth of these character’s with the story, it was amazing start to finish!

For this one regarding our heroine, Titania, she was amazing as the character in the previous, to say the least, but this one she became stronger minded than I ever could have imagined! She has from the previous as well as this one, taken on a lot duties, appearance to uphold in terms of how she is viewed, and let alone trying to do the best she can , and help her kingdom! She is remarkable, and I loved how she adapted to her world and things that happen between these two books! Love her!

Story wise there was a lot of stuff happening, I found it all very suspenseful. I loved how the author played upon the events of the first book to this one, and you continue where things had left off. I love truly how this author makes a magical world with strong description as well come to life, it truly was beautiful to imagine Tatiana’s kingdom. I love how even in the previous we had a lot of non stop action, and this one still held its suspense, but the action toned down, and I found the fate of Tatiana and who she has become and is becoming was focused strongly on. I love this amazing author’s writing. A must read for sure! Honestly, this book was wonderful to read, as was the previous, Marvelous read!

Again, this book alone is a must read, and it would be a good idea to read the first installment in the series. The author is very good at all they do and write, they are a high recommendation from me period. Needless to say, this book and series is a recommended read as well! Don’t pass this author/book up!

Once I started reading this book I was unable to put it down! The writing was able to LITERALLY drag me into the book and feel everything that Queen Titania was experiencing through her novel! It felt like I was standing right next to Queen Titania, her cousins, and Holden with their joy along with feeling their anguish and betrayal!! The novel continues the adventures of the fierce and protective Queen Titania and the challenges that face her reign from both inside and out. She will always put her family, friends, and kingdom first when conflicts arise. Will this be to her benefit or detriment? All she knows is she must succeed to stay on her throne! Do yourself a favor and read the series, and find out for yourself how Queen Titania demonstrates her power! I am looking forward to the next book in the series to see her story unfold.

This is the book I have been waiting for in 2022!
Fantasy on another level.
The second book to this series and it is everything.
When I tell you the world building is top notch,
And to think that we have a female lead that has yet to disappoint.
This author puts you into the world that she has created by sucking you in from the very first page.
Will the darkness take over the Queen?
Her crimes can they be true?
Everything that we don’t think of that happens when a female is put in a powerful situation happens to Tatiana in this tale of fantasy that brings loss, sorrow pain and empowerment.
You will not put this down.
Even with five stars it’s underrated.
How much is being queen worth?
So excited that I read this cause now I can read it again.

I thought this book was a great follow up to the first one. It had been a while since I had read book one so I went back to read that first and I am glad I did. I think that I got much more our of this book for having done so.
I thought the story was a well developed one that was fast paced and exciting. I had no trouble in becoming invested in it. I thought thus was a great way to follow on from book one and I am looking forward to seeing what might be next.

Exiled South is an interesting read and insight into different perspectives on the world. The protagonist, Lizbeth Gordon, has struggled for decades to reconcile her desire to be a good ally to people experiencing racism with the realities of slave ownership in her family history. For most of her adult life, she has hidden her southern accent and lived away from her family. But when her life is turned upside down, she goes back and begins to learn, and accept, more about her ancestors.
Things in this book are never quite straightforward – from what Lizbeth thinks her family history is, to what she thought her husband’s life was. There’s plenty to unravel, which keeps readers intrigued.
The author does a great job of creating a sense of place. I enjoyed exploring places like Charleston and Rio alongside Lizbeth. In that respect, it’s very much like a holiday in a book!
This book gets four stars from me. I would recommend it to readers interested in family history and the complicated and sometimes uncomfortable history of the American South.

I loved this novel. Titania continues to amaze me. She is unbelievably strong, considering a teenage girl should never have to gather the strength and courage that she does every single day, but she does it regardless. Even with a guardian watching her every move.

Even though so little time passes, Titania’s life changes extensively from the end of the first book in this series to the end of this book. There was not as much action in this novel as the first, but I still enjoyed getting to know the characters more as well as watch Titania grow into the young woman that she is.

This is quite the epic fantasy! A strong , fierce female main character. Prepares to take the crown but many problems she must overcome. Will she be enough? What are the best choices? I really enjoyed this book, kept me captivated and interested. Hard to put down and well written! Action packed and has an excellent storyline.

The second book in the Realm Chronicles, this young adult fantasy story continues Titania’s journey as a Queen. Having escaped from Lower Earth, Titania finds her actions have raised concern with the High Council. Her mother remains in a catatonic state except for one statement. “More to come. You need them.” Titania holds on to the hope that Holden and Quinn can help her find a way to contact the Trinity in Upper Earth. When she receives a decree alleging she has committed treason, Titania finds herself on trial. The High Council places her on probation, with Zekiel and the council guards will follow her everywhere. How is she supposed to speak to the Trinity, since the High Council forbids it? Who can she trust?

This 4-star book has the elements of romance, discovery, magic, and good versus bad. Titania tends to abandon traditional duties of past rulers. She is seen as taking risks that affect more than just her. Constant inner turmoil plagues her, and it is easy to see her begin to become irrational. I honestly think her pride needed to be taken down a notch. Controlling others seems to be her motivation, and I was happy to see others as definite rivals. I recommend this young adult fantasy story to anyone who enjoys Fae stories with a lot of conflict.
