The Victor (The Freemasons #1)The Victor by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book in this particular series from this wonderful author and I have to say I am looking forward to reading more. Cole and Ava are separated after experiencing a devastating loss and when Ava announces to Cole that she wants a divorce so they can both start over, he decides that is the last thing he wants and goes about proving to her that they truly are meant to be together. There is a very fascinating storyline threaded through this book that obviously threads through the entire series and I can’t wait to see where it will take us.

Wow wow wow!!! This amazing author continually brings us totally captivating stories that always have me on the edge of my seat from the first word to the very last!!! With every book that I read in this amazing series I read faster than I would usually simply because I have to know what is going to happen next. I just can’t put them down!! While these can all be brought and read individually why would you do that when you can read them all!! I highly recommend reading the whole series from the very start not only because they are so worth it but also because it will give you valuable knowledge of all the characters and the series of events that lead to this point.

I always want to read fast to see what’s going to happen next but then I’m also torn because I want it all to last. Crazy right? The combination of amazing characters, intriguing storylines and some steam just can’t be beat! The lead characters in this book, Salvatore and Adrianna, had me completely hooked from the very first words on the page and kept me captivated until the very end. You could just tell their explosive chemistry was going to be off the charts. I can’t wait for more in this series and from this amazingly talented author!

I will be completely honest and admit this is definitely something different for me. I have never been greatly into poetry but this collection has definitely opened my eyes and mind to greater possibilities. I am so very glad I tried something new! I found it to be a real roller-coaster ride of emotions which was totally unexpected. If I had to pick a favourite it would definitely be “Dear Beatles”. To the amazing author I say thanks for teaching this old dog new tricks.

Wow, wow WOW!!! absolutely 100% a 5 star read from start to finish. This is the first book from this AMAZING author that I have read and it most definitely will not be the last. The characters dive straight into your heart and keep you captive even after you’ve finished reading. Wil and El (Melodie) definitely have chemistry both musically and personally that can not be denied. As we all know though, no path in life runs completely smooth and this is true for them also. Belief in each other will win the day. I can’t wait to see where life takes them next!

Defying EllaDefying Ella by Morgana Bevan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When it comes to the main characters in this fabulous book, Jared and Ella, to say the sparks fly between them is a huge understatement!! Boy oh boy do they fly!! The tension and constant bickering at the start makes you wonder how on earth the author thought they could possibly end up together. As you read more and more and are shown the deeper depths of these wonderful characters and their insecurities, especially Jared’s, you can’t help but want them to find their very own happily ever after. This can definitely be read as a stand alone and enjoyed but personally I know I will be going back to the start because I simply want more!!!

I seriously don’t know how the author does it but this fantastic series just keeps getting better and better with each book! I really didn’t think that was possible. I am totally hooked and need more!!! I love the almost instant connection between Master Romano and Raven that can’t be ignored even though vampires and witches being together is totally unheard of. This book will keep you captivated from the very first word, with plenty of twists and turns along the way. I so did not pick one particular twist that’s for sure but I don’t want to give anything away so I’ll zip my lip on that! Do yourself a huge favour and grab this book today…actually grab the whole series!!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have said it before and I will say it again, this wonderful author never ever disappoints and this book is yet another example of her fantastic writing. The lead characters Cord and Tori are truly wonderful and they captured me right from the start. Cord is a popular Bronc rider on the rodeo circuit who is doing really well when along comes Tori a strong willed woman and fellow competitor. She isn’t interested in the hype surrounding him so a smooth start is definitely not on the cards. This book can be read as a stand alone but I know I am definitely looking forward to reading more in this super fun series and I will definitely be going back to read them all from the series start. The side characters have me intrigued and I want to know more about them as well.

This wonderful author never disappoints and this book is yet another example of her fantastic writing. The lead characters Hunter and Kennedy are wonderful. Kennedy is trying hard to be the absolute best she can be in a very male dominated field all while dealing with a slimy and very sneaky boss! Hunter is focused on his football and looking toward his future career. They definitely were not looking for each other but I think that makes finding love even more special right? This book can be read as a stand alone but I am definitely looking forward to reading more in this super fun series. The side characters have me intrigued and I want to know more about them as well.

Jake (Billionaire Blind Dates Book 1) by Toni Denise – Review by Jules Herbert

Jake (Billionaire Blind Dates Book 1)Jake by Toni Denise
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a fun read this book is! Jake is done with dating after yet another girl he was dating was only interested in his bank account. He is just so sick and tired of it all. At a poker night his friends talk him into going on some Blind dates where his friends choose the girls he will date. He agrees as long as they also go on dates as well. This opens up to the rest of the series which I personally am excited for. Anyway back to the story, the dates are held in a completely darkened restaurant adding new meaning to the term Blind date. As you can imagine this creates some interesting times for sure. I don’t want to say too much more about the storyline as I don’t want to give too much away. Just know that this very talented author created a great storyline and wonderful characters, both main and side characters, that I just can’t wait meet again in the next book.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This box set of 3 books is a wonderful way to be able to read the series all in one go because once you start you definitely will want to do just that! They are written by a very talented author who now has a fan in me for sure. She very creatively draws her readers into the world she has created set in Hawaii during the 1960s. As you read through these books your imagination will be filled with beautiful, vivid images and great characters. You truly will feel as though you are right there with them. While each book in true romance style, does have two people brought together, each book draws each couple together in different ways and I just know you will be unable to resist caring about them and wishing for their happy endings. I recommend you grab your set today and get reading!!

This book truly is so absolutely AMAZING that I am finding it difficult to put my feelings for it into simple words!!! The descriptive writing talent of this author is simply indescribable! Hester is such a relatable character that she immediately weaves her way into your heart and you truly want to see her succeed. No life path runs completely smooth and this is very true for Hester but you the reader will be pulling for her every step of the way. If there is ever a book you should not miss reading then this is IT!!!! A 5 star read from start to finish. honestly if I could give it more than 5 I would!

To put it simply this is a hot steamy read filled with great characters and a storyline that will keep you captivated from start to finish. The authors wonderful writing style creates very vivid images in your mind as you read, making you feel a little like the voyeurs she writes about. I found this author and this series in book 2 and having enjoyed it so much I will definitely go and find book one. It should be said that not having read the first book in no way affected my enjoyment of this book, it has simply made me want to read more by this very talented author. What a fantastic collection of stories! I know I have mentioned before that short stories are not normally my cup of tea so to speak, so when I come across one that manages to captivate and more importantly satisfy my love of reading I just have to shout it to the roof tops! Well this collection absolutely did that and so much more. It truly is a wonderful rollercoaster ride of emotions from start to finish with something for everyone. It contains such a varied collection of stories from some extremely talented authors. Some of the authors I have read before, such as the very talented C.A. King ( Clara’s story is truly amazing and I need more!) while some are completely new to me, and lets face it who doesn’t love a good creative mix of new and old. If stories of survival inspire and excite you then this collection is definitely for you.

The Naget family have a motto “We do what must be done” and I am here to tell you I completely agree because what must be done is you MUST read this book! I know I have mentioned in previous reviews I have written when a book has had me captivated from start to finish and while that is very true with this book what was even more meaningful to me was that my whole heart was fully engaged in every single written word. I don’t know for sure that even in my most vivid imaginings I could truly understand what this family has gone through but this extremely talented author presents this story to us in such a way that we are given the best opportunity possible to ever understand and feel this families experience. Thank you for opening and expanding my understanding.

Notebook Mysteries ~ Unexpected Outcomes (Notebook Mysteries book #4)Notebook Mysteries ~ Unexpected Outcomes by Kimberly Mullins
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I know I have said it time and time again but I will keep saying it, over and over because this YA mystery series absolutely deserves as much praise as possible for its creative storylines. The captivating writing talent of this author easily transports the reader back in time so much so that you really feel as though you can see everything around you and all that is happening.
This book has so many elements to it from train crashes and fights, too I guess you would call it family drama, as well as the expected mysteries to solve, that you are kept hooked from start to finish. There are plenty of twists and turns to add to your captivation as well. Do yourself a favour and read not only this amazing book but the entire series! This book can be read as a standalone but why do that when you could read them all.

With each book you are so easily transported back in time that you really feel as though you can see everything around you and all that is happening so vividly.
Emma has so much happening in this book! Of course a case comes along as it always does for her, with kidnapping, murder and secrets she will be kept busy. Add to that a totally surprising inheritance and you have a fantastic story that will keep you hooked from start to finish.
This book can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the series not only for background but for your enjoyment!!!

I find it strange that for someone like me who is so NOT sporty how much I actually do love a good sports romance! I was drawn into this story from the very start and was held captive till the last word. This is the first book I have read from this author and it definitely will be the first of many for me I am sure. While I read this book in the series and fully enjoyed it I will however be going back to the very start of the series to read all the prior books to further enhance my understanding and enjoyment. I mean its the thing to do when you enjoy something so much right?
Evan and Callie are wonderful characters who held a place in my heart for the entire book. Evans battles with extreme anxiety rang true to me as mental health is dealt with on a daily basis in my own home. It was written with love and hope which is something we all need in our lives right??

Just when you think a series can’t get any better this author shows you how wrong you can be! Book 5 knocked it out of the Park! This time we get to read the fantastic story of Kristopher and Alessia. They randomly meet at a conference but quickly find out they will be working together when they return. He will in fact be her boss! They know they shouldn’t allow the attraction between them to develop for that reason and so many more including the impending messy divorce for Kris and his truly cruel wife. So much happens with these two but I don’t want to go into too much detail and give anything away. This is simply a book with wonderful characters and a truly creative storyline that you don’t want to miss a single word of! Now it is book 5 in this series and it can definitely be read on its own and enjoyed but why would you want to miss out on the previous books? Do yourself a huge favour and read them too! With an interesting and constantly moving storyline this book is one you will enjoy and should definitely get reading today!!

A wonderfully written read full of heart! That is how I would describe this story of Paige and Mark. Paige is totally captivated by Marks paintings and upon meeting him the man himself as well. She has been hurt badly by a previous relationship where she was involved with a client so to say she is reluctant to have anything other than a professional relationship with Mark would be a huge understatement. The attraction and connection they have to each other is so strong it truly can not be denied. Can Paige see past her broken heart and dissolve the defences she built to protect herself, to fight for a chance at a future they have both only dreamed of? Well that is the big question isn’t it! do yourself a favour and grab a copy of this book you won’t be disappointed!!

The two lead characters in this book are well written and develop beautifully throughout the story. I guess you would say Anna has a real zest for life and I found her to be a truly wonderful character to follow through this fun story and one that I fell for straight away. Phillip is an Earl who takes all that involves and his sense of duty very seriously and I’ll be honest at the start I thought to myself OMG he is so damn stuffy! Getting to know him more through the book I loved him just as much as Anna. With such creative writing, fun humorous moments and a HEA that makes you just feel good this is a book not to missed and this fabulous author definitely has a new fan in me. As this is my first book by this author and book 4 I will be going back to read the others in this series for sure!

Again and again she is tested when things go wrong but Aaron is there for her each and every time. The question is can she let go of her past with his brother to build a future together with Aaron.
