Fernandes does a wonderful job with this sports romance. Admittedly my knowledge of cricket isn’t vast but I feel as though I have a greater appreciation for it after this story. This was simply a sweet romance that in my opinion is perfect for my next lazy afternoon on the couch. Simply loved it and had difficulty putting it down before I finished it.

Suen continues to be a must read author for me. Murder Creek is no exception. From beginning to end, Suen captivates me with the storyline and characters, keeping me reading and guessing and frantically trying to keep up. If you’ve got a whodunit mystery suspense on your radar, this book needs to be your next adventure.

A Deal with Death is the fourth book in this series and it was fantastic. From the very first page I was drawn in and didn’t wanna put it down. This was a fast paced shifter romance and the characters are great! Odette and James are the types of characters that just stick with you and you just can’t help but love. I am looking forward to meeting more by this author and I would recommend to a friend.

Children Of The Future by Jane Suen is a four star novel. As a teacher, this novel was somewhat hard to read because of having the missing children. I could totally relate with Telly, the main character, because he felt like he couldn’t stop until he figured out what had happened to the missing children from the school. With Billy by his side, they were able to look for the other children that were missing from the school Billy went to. He has no idea why he was spared, other than the fact that he had hidden in a cabinet because he was so scared. As this novel unfolds, the reader learns about why the children were taken and how that purpose can drive the future.

Nite Fire: Smoke & Mirrors By: C.L. Schneider is book 3 in the series. It could probably be read as a stand alone, but I woyldnt recommend it. The first two books really preface this one well. I love this authors writing style and the characters in this book. This book had me hooked from page one, and while I thoroughly enjoyed the other books in the series, this was my favorite of the three. I cant wait to see what this author does next! Great read and a solid 5 stars!!
Queen of the Warrior Bees (Natural Forces Book 1) by Jean Gill was a different, original read, that kept my attention and kept me flipping the pages.
My first read by this author, I was caught by the beautiful cover and the original elements I found in the synopsis. I dove into this book, and I had it read in one sitting. Now though I say that, I did have some issues.
This book opens on a strong note, and the narrative was smooth and compelling, sucking you in. But at times it felt dull, there were some over-explaining, and too much detail on unimportant things (so much info on bees that really didn’t need to be in there), and the world building suffered for it. It’s sad to say, but as much as I loved this book, it fell into the, first book, set up, for the series, trap. I get why there was so much info, but, frankly, there should have been less on the bees, and more on the mess that was happening in the Citadel, and the actual plot that was happening there.
I loved the original concept of this book, and I did like the MC. She was cold, strong, and fierce, which is rare in most YA MC’s. I can see how that could be a turn off, but I very much enjoyed that part of her personality. I love the realism, and how when the main plot got underway, that it was more complex than simply nature is evil. It was complex, and hit home, as it does reflex some of our real life issues. (I don’t want to say cause I don’t want to spoil that aspect.)
Overall this book is an original fresh read that has lots of potential, with it’s deep inner working of human vs nature aspect. I will be following this series, so please take my high recommendation and my stamp of approval that you will find that this book is much more then it seems.

Never Let Me Go was a great 5 star read and book six in the Bayou Devils MC. A.M. Myers has pulled me in once again. This is Juliette and Sawyer’s story and my most favorite in the series.
Juliette suffers a terrible loss following a tragic accident. She has had no memory for five years. She decides to go back to her hometown to get some answers and hopefully remember things.
Sawyer is a member of the Bayou Devils MC and he’s the epitome of a bad boy, but he also has a soft side to him as well. Sawyer is asked to take Juliette home. There is something about Sawyer that draws Juliette in and makes her feel safe with him. Just as the trust was starting to build things take an unexpected turn.
What will Sawyer do when Juliette shares her secret with him? Will he stick around?
There are several twists and turns, suspense, tears, steam and so much more. My emotions were all over the place. A.M. Myers does a great job with her writing style, you feel like your right there with them. All of the secondary characters were great.This can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest reading from the beginning. If you’re looking for a great MC series I highly suggest the Bayou Devils MC.

Cynthia Hamilton really knows how to grab me from just a synopsis. How could I possibly say no to two separate, seemingly straight forward cases of missing persons? I tore through this book to get to the part where Madeline reaches the Catholic school because how could that not be filled with mystery and delicious intrigue. With the topic of sex trafficking, Ms. Hamilton was not afraid to sugar coat some details and I really respect her for it. It will make some people uncomfortable to read but if it makes even one person get involved in fighting it, every bit of discomfort is worth it compared to what it could prevent. This is absolutely the most intense of this series. I hope it keeps up because it makes for amazing reading but it also gets you in the frame of mind to follow Madeline and Mike’s lead and do something about it.

A Protectors Touch is a emotionally charged book about finding strength and moving on.I found myself teary eyed in some parts but felt proud in others. This may be a trigger for some especially if you have experienced what the MC does. I couldn’t put this down once I started reading. I had to know what happens next. April is a woman who has had a pretty sheltered life up till she went to college. She finds herself in a relationship with the wrong guy and knows she has to get out.She thinks of herself as weak but she’s a lot stronger than she realizes. The first and probably hardest step is getting out of the situation. April is working on her confidence. She has great friends who is helping her with that. Then there is Shan, he understands what she is going through . Can he help her to see that she can love again? Can he help her? A Protector’s Touch was a great five star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
We have April who has just gotten out of an abusive relationship. She is now trying to focus more on her schooling. We find that she has also has a secret crush on a school mate, Shan. When he starts to notice her, things start to get interesting.
I really liked Shan, he was good to April and tried to show he how a woman should be treated. Shan also had a dark past, one that gave him a commonality with April which made their connection even deeper. Will he be able to show April what love really is?
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. My emotions were all over the place, especially with all of the things that April went through with her ex. All of the characters were great. I was very happy with the ending it all came together very well. I look forward to reading more from this author.

These two are amazing characters that I love reading about. These two believe that they are each on a missing person case but they soon find out that ,that may not be the case. Bowled: Facing the Yorker of Love by Pamela Q. Fernandes is the first book in the To Love a Sportsman series. Mathew is a successful captain of a cricket team who has it all until a false accusation. Rose is a teacher who has been burned in the love department. Will the two make it work? I liked the story and enjoyed the interaction between Mathew and Rose. I am not familiar with cricket and so some of the terminology was foreign to me but I was a to get past it and enjoy the story. I also enjoyed the story took place in several locations. I like stories where there is a background which contributes to the storyline. I enjoyed this and am looking forward to reading more in this series.

Return is the second book in the Rewind series by Rowan Shaw . It has an excellent storyline that easily flows from start to finish. As always with this author, I enjoy the character development and creativity put behind each one. Each character had their own unique personality. I had a hard time picking my favorite character between Raphael and Aiden, but I felt drawn more to Raphael than I did Aiden. I also really enjoyed the scenery of this novel. It seemed very realistic and easy to visualize. It was a wonderful romantic and mysterious read.

Return by Rowan Shaw is the second book in the Rewind series and WOW it was an incredible book. From page one and until the end, I fell in love with the characters and could not put down. This book tells the story of Raphael and Adrien. Raphael is a student and he cannot afford a place of his own in Paris. He then meets Adrien and moves in with him. He’s a man with such amazing charisma but also many secrets. There is an attraction between them both, but Raphael is worried to take that leap and mess up having a place to stay. How long can they ignore the attraction between them? Can maybe one night help the sexual tension? I loved this book and highly recommend. Rowan Shaw has given us an amazing FIVE star read!
The Last Dance is a wonderful book by Lonna Enox. I haven’t read anything of hers before, but I was really impressed with this story. It is a crime mystery, and it had me guessing until the very end. Literally, the epilogue at the end wrapped it up for me. I wish the story didn’t end so abruptly, but I wave happy with the way everything tied together and the mysteries were revealed at the end. The characters were great, and I love that there was a bit of mystery to them as well. Sorrell and Reed had their moments, but it didn’t cross that line into a romance novel. I highly recommend it, and can’t wait to read more by Enox. The story focuses around Sorrel, a recent widow who has moved to a small town in New Mexico to start over. She is running, or hiding from, the people who murdered her husband, and is hoping to escape and start over. She used to be a local celebrity as a news anchor, so she is learning to fly under the radar, and not doing a very good job. She seems to be in the middle of everything in her new town, despite her efforts. She finds herself connected to local crime, and works together with local detective Reed, to try to solve them, and prove her innocence.

Forbidden Attraction: A Cursed Attraction by R O’Leary was a paranormal romance book with everything. Not only did it have romance it had mystery and suspense as well. I really enjoyed this book. The story sucked me right in. I loved the characters. And I really enjoyed the authors ability to tell the story and writing style. This was my first book but won’t be my last. 4 star rating.

Girl Trap is the third book in Cynthia Hamilton’s Madeline Dawkins’ series and I absolutely loved the opening! You need to read the books in order to fully understand who Madeline is and how she has become the woman she is now! In this story Madeline and her partner Mike are working on two cases at the same time. They solve both of them but it takes its toll and the writer leaves us at the edge of our seat at the end of the story, impatiently waiting for what is coming next! The story takes place just over one and half day and we are on such a crazy rollercoaster of human trafficking and mental illness and at times it feels so real that you forget that you are reading a book! Some would say that they want to escape the reality when picking up a book but the way Cynthia Hamilton tackles the darker side of our society, you forgive her and voluntarily join the journey!

The Good Neighbors by Kiersten Modglin was a story that I have not read in a long time. It was such an awesome read that kept me looking over my shoulders the entire time. The story is a simple family moves into their dream house and that is where it went wrong. Personally, when you find the house you can see yourself living in until you are old and grey you are excited and cannot wait until you move in. That is until you meet the neighbors. You know the little hairs on the back of your neck, which is a sign of danger proceed with caution. That is how I felt after Bryant and Harper met Jason and Tori. Something told me to scream leave when you can. This is a major roller coaster ride for a story and the ending will blow you away. I would devote time that you will not be disturbed while reading this book, trust me you will thank me when you are done with this book.

The Matchmaker’s Match is the third book in the Man’s Best Friend series by Nicole Flockton, I missed the first one in the series but since they can read as standalones it didnt cause any problems with me keeping up with the story line.
I love the human characters but the dogs always sucker me in and I end up loving them so much. Buster made me smile every single time, even during less happy parts.
Linc may be my latest book boyfriend, he melted my heart every chance he got by being the ideal man or at least in my eyes.
Meredith may not have had the best childhood but her life was far from the worse. I have ever read about. The way she is with Buster was so sweet and it made me like her that much more.
Great story which I enjoyed every moment of. Looking forward to seeing another book in this series and meeting another dog.

A Protector’s Touch, was such an amazing captivating, and emotional read. April is still getting over her past and a terrible relationship. She was abused by someone she loved but she was able to get away but still carries the scars of the past with her. She meets Shan and is drawn to him. Over time she begins to see herself through his and she starts to wonder is he is the one to help her heal and show just what love really is. Shan himself has a dark past and these two are more similar then they both even know. These two are characters that I wish I could real more and more of, they both grab a hold of you and not let you go. The author, Parker Sinclair, is not one that I have read before but I will make sure to now. The writing, the characters, and the subject matter were elegantly written and truly these character touched my soul. This has got to be one of the best book I have read in a long time. I give this book FIVE stars and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is the second book in this series but it can be read as a standalone but I would suggest reading the first one because it’s awesome and also because it’s where we first met Raphael. I am so glad that this book is just as good as the first. There is a lot of raw emotion in this story. I was completely drawn into the story needing to know where the relationship was going to go between Adrian and Raphael, and I also really felt connected as I found out more about each character. I couldn’t help but want everything to work out for each of them whether they end up together or not. The chemistry and attraction between these two was evident from the beginning. There are some intimate romantic scenes in this story and I found that they were done tastefully without losing any of the heat that comes with these scenes. I loved reading this story I highly recommend it and I cannot wait to read the next one.

This is not my first book by this author and will definitely not be my last. Although this wasn’t my favorite of those I’ve read it was still written in the way I have come to enjoy by this author.
I’m not usually drawn to the sports genre and then throw in cricket and I was totally lost on that part so just concentrated on the characters. I really enjoyed reading about Mathew and Rose and there were some parts that seemed kind of predictable and then there were parts that broke my heart.
I will definitely be looking for more from this author and do highly recommend this book especially to those that like the sports kind of atmosphere. Its a quick read and flows smoothly.

This is not my first read by this author, she is actually a favorite of mine even though I went back and forth on this one before I decided to give it a shot. I am not normally drawn to these type of stories but I am drawn to this author.
I did enjoy it although it still did not sell me on the genre itself, there’s no way to deny how well it was all written. This book was full of suspense and danger and constant action. Following Lily in this book had me feeling like I was fleeing with her and I was on the edge of my seat through most of it.
It had just enough romance mixed in and I highly recommend anyone that reads historical fiction especially around the WW2 time period go one click this book right now.
This author is a master storyteller and I can not wait to get my hands on anything else she writes.

Wayward is the first book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. This series is a spin off from 2 previous series: The Prestian Series and The Torzial Affair. In this series we see into the lives and loves of the bodyguards whose job it is to guard the billionaires from the other 2 series. Wayward centres around Jay who is the head of the security team and Sasha Koslov, a Russian ballerina who was previously involved with one of Jay’s bosses. Jay has been captivated by the beautiful, graceful ballerina from the first instance he saw her. Now it emerges that she is related to the mafia and her life is in danger, Jay will do anything to keep her safe. This book will have you sucked right into the heart of the story from the very first page and will not let you go. It will drag you through a roller coaster of emotions and you won’t want to put it down. The characters are very well written and have so much depth to them, you really feel that you get to know them. I really loved this book. I had not read any of this author’s work before but now I really want to read the Prestian Series and The Torzial Affair as I’m intrigued as to what has gone on with these characters previously.

Madeline Dawkins adventures….are never dull! And Girl Trap…wow! Probably my favorite so far. Some serious subjects covered in this story. Book three is a must read! But only after reading books 1 and 2!
Hamilton dives into a touchy subject, one that the real world is unbelievably discovering as well. Several girls have gone missing. Not all of the cases are the same, however there is more to it than meets the eye. Madeline and Mike have to use their MDPI skills during this story. They will have to go at it alone, as well, since this time there are so many situations arising and in different cities. Hamilton again has given us a story like no other. The adventure that Mike and Maddie take to solve their mysteries keeps you turning the pages.
I can recommend this story to the readers that like a little mystery mixed with a little action to keep you on your toes.

This is the first book that I have read by this author Too Hot To Handle is the third book in the Catch series written by Ms. Scott. I simply fell in love with this couple Tony and Georgia. They were an awesome couple. The Main characters are well written and simply great. I loved there quirks. The story line was great and different.

The Embers We Seek is book one in A Rebel Princess Serial, written by Acacia K. Parker was a gripping read that had me hooked from start to finish. This is the first book that I have read by this author. Wow I really enjoyed this short story and can’t wait until I get to read the next part in this series. The main character is well written with a strong sense of duty. The story line was unique and different.
There were some parts in this short story that reminded me of Game of Thorns but instead of Dragons we had Hell hounds. (And I loved Game of Thrones). LOL
Wren is a captain and is sworn to protect the soldiers she leads into battle, which includes preventing a potential massacre in an upcoming campaign that could mean the end of the war in hero’s. But defying orders from her Lord could mean a noose around her neck. That if she gets caught.
I don’t want to go into too much and give the storyline away but this is a must read…. I highly enjoyed it.

This book tore at my heart and completely stressed me out because I wanted to climb through my kindle screen so many times. This made me realize that although you hear of this throughout your life you never really understand it maybe because you don’t want to or literally just don’t believe it can really happen.
This author who I already love took something so real and wrote it in such a beautiful way that yes there might be triggers but it was handled with such care.
Although this story tore my heart out and totally ticked me off at times I loved it and it was such a quick read. The character building was spot on and I fell hard for Shan..I mean who wouldn’t? But what I loved most was April and even though someone tried so hard to break her down, her strength brought her out on the other side and her story was inspirational and I loved it!
Yes, there are some soft triggers but I think if its gone into being fully aware of this it would be ok.
