Forgotten Chance is the third and final novel of the Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. What an ending to Nathan and Bryer’s story!!

The story picks up where the second story ended. Cash is still around, digging his way into their lives and causing trouble. Can Nathan and Bryer’s love make it through it all? Or will Cash succeed and make it out the way he always intended to?

If you haven’t read this series yet, you really need to! It’s heart racing and heartbreaking!

Forgotten Chance is the third book in the Forgotten Trilogy by Virginia Wine. As this is a continuation of Bryer and Nathan’s story from the first two books I highly recommend reading them before setting off with this one.
With their wedding approaching, Nathan and Bryer could be forgiven for thinking the worst was behind them. But trouble has a way of catching up with them and once more the past rears its head and causes trouble between the lovers. How much can one couple bear before they crumble. Yet again their relationship will be tested, but this time might be one too many and may finally break them!
This is definitely the best of the three books. Ms. Wine left the best for last. But that Cash is like a bad rash that just won’t go away. He’s a real piece of work!!! I was satisfied with how everything turned out in the end.
Intriguing reading!

Thank you, Virginia Wine!

Forgotten Chance by Virginia Wine is book three of the Forgotten Trilogy. Books one and two need to be read before diving into this finale. This book has it all; humor, romance, intrigue, suspense.

Bryer and Nathan have finally made it and they have their pending wedding to show for it. Unfortunately as they’ve learned before, not everything is as it seems. Now, there relationship is being tested. Will they be able to withstand everything in front of them?

I truly enjoyed Bryer and Nathan’s characters throughout the series. They’ve faced hardships and trials and they’ve come out strong on the other side. They are resilient. This is a wonderful end to the trilogy and really rounded out the story well. I recommend!

Each book in this series has smacked me around, made my heart feel so much, and just in general sent me for the most delicious journey. I’m not quite sure how we got here so quickly (it seems) but I wasn’t ready for this (in parts). The story continues, with continued drama for our main characters and ups and downs. And just such a beautiful story at the heart.

Romance lovers need to add this book and series to your library – stat. I promise you won’t regret it.

Stepbrother (Step Dilemma Series Book 1) by Stacy McWilliams – Review by Kerry Carr

Stepbrother: Step Dilemma Series Book 1Stepbrother: Step Dilemma Series Book 1 by Stacy McWilliams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow this book is such a roller coaster of emotions I couldn’t keep up. It is a heartbreaking story with regards to the abuse they suffer at the hands of Shawn (dad/stepdad) but the feelings and emotion between Bailey and Cooper brings you back to a place of love and happiness despite everything.

Bailey lives with her mum after her dad left them and her brother died in a car accident. Her life gets turned upside down though when her mum marries Shawn and introduces 2 stepbrothers into her life.

Cooper seems to hate her. He is always tormenting her and causing her harm but things aren’t what they seem.

Copper and Bailey are attracted to each other. Their feelings are so strong they have to fight to overcome them. With Shawn being a violent bully who beats them both for ever speaking to each other there is no way they can act on their feelings.

Through all the highs and lows in this story can they defeat everything and be together or will they be forced to live a lie and continue to receive the beatings whenever their dad/stepdad thinks they are needed.

Forgotten Chance: Book Three (Forgotten Trilogy) by Virginia Wine was a great 5 star read.
You should read the first two books prior to this one so that you understand the story and characters. I was excited to finally get the last book in the trilogy and it was worth the wait.

Bryer and Nathan are finally preparing for their big day. When someone from the past comes back, he has different plans in mind. If he can’t have Bryer no one will and he is determined to ruin it for them.

Will Nathan and Bryer make it through all the added drama?

Overall I really enjoyed this book and the trilogy. All of the characters were great and added to the story. You get pulled in right from the start with the author’s writing, you feel like you are right there with the characters. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. This was such a sweet read with good lessons to be learned. This book was a fun fairytale with drama, magic, wonderful characters, and I especially love Kara’s character. This is not the first book I have read by this author and it won’t be the last, because she writes such great stories that are easy to read. Kara has some things to overcome in this story, this is a must read to find out how she overcomes some of the things she has to face. This is a very heart warming book and I recommend reading it.

This is my first book by TL Clark. I couldn’t wait to read this book, and it did not disappoint. I loved every single character and all the story lines. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. This was an amazing story about how life COULD actually be and how we can make it better. I fell into this book and didn’t want to come back out. To avoid repeating the mistakes of the past, Aroha and her classmates must learn harsh lessons. Remember to maintain, “Honesty, Respect, Fortitude,” as you read this thrilling and agonizing tale of devastation, survival and hope. A post-nuclear war, dystopian vs. utopian, environmental romance.

I loved reading the book Heart of Malice (Alice Worth Book 1) by Lisa Edmonds. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. The story includes magic, shifters, mages, mystery, and danger. The book is written in such a way that I felt like I was right there with the characters. I loved reading about Alice. The story finds her and Malcolm, a ghost with a past just like herself, on a mission to find an object of power. What happens next has Alice looking for someone with a dangerous secret and an unknown agenda. Will Alice find the object of power? How much danger is Alice in? What does her future hold? Read this book to find out. This story has both an amazing plot and unforgettable characters. The author does a wonderful job in world building and I loved reading the story of what has happened in the past to both Alice and Malcolm. Other characters are introduced and some of them are friendly and helpful while others have their plans and will do anything to make sure their agenda comes to pass. This is an exciting and entertaining story that you will not want to miss out on. I highly recommend reading it.

Satan's Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5Satan’s Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This box set is the first MC series i´ve ever read and i was absolutely absorbed in every word! Each book tackles something different from disability, to sex trafficking, to the loss of a loved one. Each of these books are phenomenal, and i absolutely recommend reading this box set, which holds the first 5 books in the Satans Devils book series.

Turning Wheels:
An absolutely amazing opening to this series, and one of my favorites from this set! Following Sophie and Wraith, both great characters. I could very easily relate to Sophie, who insists to that she is broken and unwanted. I loved this book, and can say that its an amazing start to an amazing series! One hundred percent worth the read!

Drummer´s Beat:
This is the second book, and an excellent follow up to the first. This book follows Drummer, the leader of Satans Devils, and Sam, a strong willed independent woman looking for her father. When Sam gets caught in a trafficking ring, Drummer will stop at nothing to find her. I was curious of Drummer and his character in the first book, and was very excited to read this one! This book is just as amazing as the first, and I recommend it as well!

Slick Running:
The third book, and an excellent addition to the series! This one follows the story of Ella and Slick, Ella helps the Satan’s Devils and then she is gone. When she contacts Slick again, he is at first refuses, not wanting to get fooled again. Once he learns why, he then is determined to not only help her but get her back. As i said, an excellent addition to this series that i definitely recommend!

Targeting Dart:
This is the fourth book in this set, and my favorite. This one follows Dart and Alex. Alex was my favorite character out of this set, and I loved Her and Darts interactions more and more throughout the book! Another amazing read from this author! I definitely recommend this one, it will definitely keep you wanting to turn the page!

Heart Broken:

The fifth and final book in this set is just as good as the others, and even more emotional moments. Heart struggles with the loss of wife, taking us on one final emotional dollar coaster. I definitely related emotionally with this the most, and it kept me reading late into the night, wanting more! This boxset of the first five books in this series is definitely a must read! I genuinely enjoyed this series and will definitely be reading more!

The characters just jumped off of the pages for me. I really found that even though a short read that it was fully complete, and didn’t disappoint. I could relate to Summer’s character and it was nice to have that. I love that the author has such creative characters and I look forward to reading more from this author and series in the future.

I enjoyed this second chance romance story. This is my first book by this author and I can’t wait to read more from her. This is a well written story that is full of heart and undeniable chemistry. I had no issues connecting to the characters as they took me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I was pulled in right from the beginning of the story. It is an engaging, fast paced story that had me turning pages fast. Melinda lost her love and led a lonely life. She is determined to bring couples together to find their true love. Boundaries (Scope of Practice, #1)Boundaries by Jessica Aiken-Hall
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book had a hold on me from the start to finish and peaked my interest just by the summary alone. Once you delve into it, you won’t be able to put it down. Social worker, Valerie Williamson, is about to come a whole lot closer to understanding her clients. She’s compelled to start a support group and the death of 19-year-old Carmen Davidson. Carmen’s death has pushed her to throw all of her principles out the window and the group members’ stories push her to ignite the fire from her past. Pushing the boundaries in her career and in her life, she has to fight for what’s right.
I thoroughly enjoyed every single thing about this book and was quite surprised at how much I loved Valerie who is like a superhero and a personal inspiration to me as I’m attempting to do the same thing in my life with my career. This is one of my favorite books to date. Great book and it will not disappoint!

Satan’s Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 (Satan’s Devils MC Series) by Manda Mellett had so much to offer! I loved the variety of the stories and enjoyed the individual growth. Having all five books in one box set was great! I jumped right into the next one when I finished.

Turning Wheels
Turning Wheels was the first book in the series. I loved Sophie and my heart hurt for her. Seeing her go from depressed to strong and confident was empowering. There were so many emotions I came back to this book multiple times. I loved the story and kept coming back until it was all done.

Drummer’s Beat
Drummer’s Beat was an intense read! So much action and steam! I loved Sam’s strength and confidence. She is a woman on a mission. This is definitely a heavy read and did also take me some time to get through but like Turning Wheels was definitely a book I enjoyed going back to.

Slick Running
Slick Running had me in tears! So much heaviness and tough subject matter. This was the heaviest and hardest read. I love the writing and the plot, Ella and Slick go through the ringer.

Targeting Dart
Targeting Dart was a great read! I loved Alex, curvy and sassy. She was one of my favorite read in the set. There was still a lot of heavy subject matter. There was a lot of steamy parts while reading. I loved all the twists and turns and details.

Heart Broken
Heart Broken was another emotional read. So much heaviness and emotions to work through. I struggled with Heart but I think he changed enough and grew on me. I loved the writing and the plot.

When your book store becomes the hub for murder will Becky be able to solve the crime without getting to deep.

Becky and her grandmother, Miss Alice own a quiet book store near the beach front every so often they host a book reading/signings from the most popular author this month, but when they become entangled with a murder they will have to put all there deductive skills to use to find out whodunit.

I enjoyed this story greatly the characters where warm and welcoming and had you engrossed in the story from the first chapter. I especially love Miss Alice, Becky and Lizzy’s grandmother she was a typical sassy, independent woman who knows her mind. With the twists and turns in this book it will have you reading long into the night to work with them to try and solve the crime.

Although I had worked out who the murderer was the story guided you brilliantly to the conclusion with out making it too obvious which is always great in a story, making the read work for the answer.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend to anyone looking for a escape. I will be looking at reading more by this author in the future.

Girl Trap (A Madeline Dawkins Mystery Book 3) by Cynthia Hamilton – Review by Angela Hayes

Girl TrapGirl Trap by Cynthia Hamilton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Girl Trap is the third book in the Madeline Dawkins series by Cynthia Hamilton. WOW- Cynthia Hamilton certainly puts Madeline and Mike through their paces (and the wringer) in this book and has once again produced a clever and engrossing mystery for us to enjoy. Cynthia Hamilton and the Madeline Dawkins series have quickly become my go-to reads as I can always count on her to deliver an exciting story. The Madeline Dawkins books would make a fantastic television series, and in fact, they remind me a lot of the old Moonlighting series with Cybill Shepherd and Bruce Willis- but with more danger, excitement, and a more modern ‘feel’.
This story takes place three months after the ending of the previous book. Madeline and Mike take on two missing person cases that turn out to be anything but simple. They split the cases and begin their investigation, being drawn out of Santa Barbara in the process. For Madeline, a simple inquiry in an old missing persons case quickly turns deadly. Things are definitely not as they seem. Mike’s missing persons case quickly turns into a very dangerous sex/human trafficking investigation.
With missing women, suspicious circumstances, a spate of murders, two investigations, challenges, riddles, danger, sinister adversaries, and plenty of action- this story really took off. I found it to be a little more intense than the previous two, with more emotion and depth than I had expected. I was on the edge of my seat, with bated breath for parts of the book, while in other parts my heart ached for what the character/s were going through. Ms. Hamilton certainly didn’t hold back, putting her characters (and me) through the wringer. Poor Madeline can’t seem to catch a break, and I was left wondering how much more she can take. But she is one tough, and resilient cookie- who always finds her way through these difficult situations. She’s classy, sexy, intelligent, determined, and skilful- a perfect character for this series.
This is another cleverly crafted story in the Madeline Dawkins series. I have already read book four as I could not wait to find out what Maddie and Mike would get up to next- especially after the way this book ended! So, bring on Book #5!!! I cannot wait!!!
Wonderfully gripping reading!!!!

Thank you, Cynthia Hamilton!

Saint Code: The Lost (Saint Code Book 1) by Megan Mackie – Review by Angela Hayes

Saint Code: Lost: Book Four of the Lucky Devil SeriesSaint Code: Lost: Book Four of the Lucky Devil Series by Megan Mackie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Saint Code: The Lost is the first book in the Saint Code series and the fourth book in The Lucky Devil Series by Megan Mackie. I absolutely adore this brilliant series! I developed my addiction to Megan Mackie’s stories back in the first book in The Lucky Devil series and have been eagerly anticipating each new release. I am kicking myself that this book slipped under my radar, and it has taken me so long to notice and read it.
This story doesn’t continue the thread that began in ‘Finder of the Lucky Devil’, but seems to predate it. Instead we follow St. Augustina the cyber-spy as she (along with St. Benedict) takes on a new job after being hired by the very mysterious Orange Lady for what seems to be a routine, if not dangerous, case. But Augustina quickly discovers that this is anything but typical. Things get complicated, and deadly. There seems to be a target on her back- so who is out to get her? Get set for an exciting adventure to find out all the riveting details.
The storyline is spellbinding and full of all the intricate details and incredible world building I have come to expect from Ms. Mackie. This is a fantastic urban fantasy with cyberpunk/neon-dystopia and paranormal elements. We are cast into a world where magic and technology combine with fascinating results. The story is full of action, adventure, suspense, some mystery, drama, tension, intrigue, danger, secrets, emotion, and so much more.
Ms. Mackie has delivered a rich, vibrant and vividly detailed story set in a cleverly constructed and interesting world. Her world building on a masterful level. The characters are truly brilliant- so well-crafted and wonderfully developed. I loved that we get a different perspective into this fascinating ‘world’. Giving us a lot of backstory and also a better understanding of how the Saints are ‘made’.
Can not wait for more!
Brilliant!!!

Thank you, Megan Mackie!

Eat Me: Mayim Merman Book One by Amber Dark
Five Stars

Eat Me is the first book in the Mayim Merman series by Amber Dark. This is the first book I have read by Ms. Dark, but definitely won’t be the last. This is a short, extremely HOT read. I love that Mayim picks up women, solely for the purpose of giving them pleasure. This book may not be everyone, but if you Love Hot, Steamy, Explicit Sex scenes, then this is the book for you. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

5 Star
Satan’s Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 (Satans Devils MC Series) by Manda Mellett

Manda Mellett is a woman after my own heart. I absolutely love MC stories .She has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I love everything from the hot alpha male/bad boy image to the drama that comes along with a MC . With that being said this is the first five books in the Satan’s Devils series, each book follows a different couple and can be read as standalone but I will tell you that once you start reading you won’t want to put it down. Each of them have their own set of issues they have to figure out and their end goal is to get the girl. Get ready to be taken on quite the ride. I can promise you won’t be disappointed with this set of books. As always I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Boundaries (Scope of Practice Book 1) by Jessica Aiken-Hall

5-Stars

Boundaries (Scope of Practice Book 1) by Jessica Aiken-Hall was way more than I expected. Holy cow! Wow! This book was exciting, heartbreaking, and oh so emotional. It was thrilling and the crimes were calculating. The main character Val was my favorite and I was shocked at the trauma she went through. The ending of this book was not what I expected. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Excellent read!
