Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L Montgomery is a really fun read- and great value for money. Three books in one #WINNING!!! The boxed set is comprised of Badge Bunny (Book #4), Wedding Wars (Book #5) and Stage Mon (Book #6)- all are full-length, standalone stories, and each book centres on its own particular characters/couple. The stories differ storyline, feel and tone- but they all are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Series Book #4)

Brynne Miller is a busy ER Doctor, who has a penchant for a man in uniform, dating so many that she’s earned the nickname of “Badge Bunny’ (which she hates). But, Brynne has decided that they’re all the same, full of themselves- and has sworn off them all.

Chris Everson is a State Trooper who is a bit of a man’s-man. There is a lot more to him than meets the eye. His job means he frequents the ER on ‘business’. He’s immediately attracted to Brynne, but she is quite prickly and doesn’t give him a chance.

Brynne’s first impression of Chris was less than impressive- he annoys and frustrates her. But these two find themselves at the same wedding- and a major crisis demands that they work together to handle the situation.

With them both keeping things close to their chests, what happens when everything is revealed? Will Brynne let go of her first impression of Chris, admit that she’s attracted to him, and give him a chance? Does romance ever stand a chance of developing?

Wedding War (Romance in Rehoboth Series Book #5)

Jason Friday`s family operates a local business catering to grooms. They are the sworn enemies of Hannah Robinson’s family- who owns the local Bridal shop. The feud has been on-going, but what happens when a wedding one stop shop chain store sets up shop in town? These two will need to come together to take on the big business, and find a way to work together to save both their family businesses. What happens here makes for a funny and very romantic story! Definitely one of my favourites of the series, so far!

Stage Mom (Romance in Rehoboth Series Book #6)

Larissa is a single mother with a special needs daughter who is participating in the Little Miss Rehoboth pageant. Larissa is determined to ensure that her daughter is treated like all the other children in the pageant.

Mateo is the new director, his family have been running the pageant for years, but this is the first time that Mateo has been trusted to oversee the whole thing by himself.  He has a lot riding on this. He has some radical ideas for improving the show- but not everyone likes change.

The chemistry between the two starts to sizzle as these two try to hide their attraction. Getting involved will only complicate things even more. Won’t it?

Such a great story!!!

As I have said so many times before, I love  all Ms. Montgomery’s stories- she really is a gifted storyteller, and is easily able to pull readers into her ‘world’, keeping them connected and captivated the whole way through. I love how her stories depicts characters who are realistic, relatable, and entirely believable.

This box set really is worth your time and money, not only is it a great buy, you get three wonderful, full length stories to enjoy. #WINNING!!

Thank you, Ms. Montgomery!

Romance in Rehoboth boxed set book 4-6 was a great collection of books you don’t want to
miss out on. These books all focus on different couples and every reader gets to decide which couple is their favorite or which book is your favorite. I really enjoyed this set of books.
There was the romance and the teasing fun that kept me going in these books.
My favorite had to be Chris and Brynne. I think they are one of my top 5 favorites.
The characters are ones you can relate to and will find yourself loving throughout the books. The author did a great
job as always giving the readers characters we can love.

Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth #1) by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Karyn Taylor

Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth Book 1)Music Man by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Music Man is the first book in the Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. This is a series of stand-alone romance novels set in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Montgomery is an author I have read before, in fact I have read one of the other books in this series. I have thoroughly enjoyed the other books I have read by her and had high hopes for this one. I was not disappointed.
This book is slightly different from many romance novels in that that our hero and heroine, Jack and Claire are already a couple. This book explores some of the difficulties that couples can face when one tries to follow their dream.
Jack is a music teacher and enters a music competition (urged by Claire to do so) and is stunned when he wins. This leads to further competitions and then to him going on tour with some of the other contestants. This is what he’s always wanted to do. It’s his dream…or is it?
Jack soon discovers that being away from his beloved girlfriend Claire and his adorable daughter is much harder then he though. Added to that, those running the tour are trying to make it look as if he’s having a relationship with one of the other artists. This puts a massive strain on his relationship.
I really enjoyed reading this story. It flows really well and the characters are great. It has the addition of some really great secondary characters that add so much to the story. I enjoyed reading as Jack participated in the competitions, his excitement and nerves.
All in all, this is a really sweet romance story with great characters that provides a very enjoyable read.

Music Man was yet again another wonderful read from this author! I always fall in love with her stories so easily because they just feel so real. The characters are easy to connect with and Ms Montgomery writes about them in such a way that they do come alive on the page. I loved the characters Jack and Claire, they were relatable and I was really rooting for them the whole way through. I love reading about older characters, it definitely makes them more relatable to me as a reader. I really loved Claire! I thought she was an awesome character; one of those that you really wish was real because you just know they would make an awesome friend! The inner dialogue really made me feel like I knew her personally!
Music Man was a fantastic read and I 100% recommend it! I cannot wait to read more from this series!

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Jana Teppih

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3)Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books #1 to 3) is a present from K.L. Montgomery to all her avid fans – you can simply have all three first books in one nice set, making it easy to lose yourself into hours and hours of goodness! You could read all the books as standalones but getting them as a book set makes this point moot as you will read all of them!
The set includes Music Man (Book 1), The Flip (Book 2) and Plot Twist (Book 3).
The whole series gives us stories that are about how to love oneself, what happens when you follow your dreams (or do not), and how does it feel to find the other half of your soul.
The first book – Music Man – is Jack and Clare’s poignant story about what you do when your moment in the limelight arrives when you are already settled in another kind of life and have found a woman that is the other half of your soul. The second book – The Flip – is the story of Andrew and Sonnet who have hated each other since high school. It takes 10 years for them to come to the point where they have to come together in honouring someone’s bequest and what a journey it starts them on! The third book – Plot Twist – this is the crazy story of Meric Chandler and Lindy Larson filled with music and backstage romance and I have to say that Lindy is probably the one out of all three heroines that I could most relate with.
You will not go astray by picking up the set and losing yourself into the Rehoboth Beach, Delaware with independent heroines and down-to-earth men that have to work hard to earn their love!

Music Man
A Single Dad Rock Star
Romantic Comedy
(Romance in Rehoboth
Book 1)
By K.L. Montgomery
☆☆☆☆☆
What can I say about this book? It’s a full length Romantic Comedy with a twist of Rock Star. This book can be a standalone. Although I don’t think it will be for many people.

Jack loves his music. Sense he can follow his dream at the moment, he settles for the next best thing. Teaching Music! But let’s not forget that little cutie Mariana, Jack’s daughter. The two have a special bond, one of love and for Jack’s dedication.

Claire has the gumption to get it done. She is also strong in her conviction. If she decides on something, she follows through. Learning to play the piano. Is really where she wants to be. Feelings are shared and this story is off and running.

K.L. Montgomery is a fabulous writer! The Jack and Claire story is just one example. Her characters are just everyday people, making the best out of life. The women are strong and not whiny, the men are real people. I love this story and can’t wait to read the series. I have read many of K.L. Montgomery ‘ s books and find this series is becoming my “Can’t wait for the next one” series to go after.

Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth Book 1)Music Man by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Music Man is the first book in the ‘Romance in Rehoboth series by K.L Montgomery. It is a really fun and very enjoyable romantic comedy. Romance in Rehoboth is a series of standalone stories where each book centres on its own particular character/couple. The stories differ in their storyline, feel, and tone- but they all are set against the backdrop of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. I have read all the books in the series so far, and highly recommend them as they are wonderful stories and well worth the read!
We meet Jack and Claire and follow along as their story unfolds.
Jack dreamed of making it big in the music industry. But things didn’t go quite according to plan and he ended up teaching music instead. Then he meets Claire, who arrives for lessons. There is an attraction and instant connection between them that draws them together. Things are going really well. But when Claire encourages Jack to enter a contest, things take a different turn as Jack gets another chance to follow his dreams. What will the future hold for these two? Will their love survive?
As I have said many times before, I think Ms. Montgomery is a gifted storyteller, easily pulling her readers into her story and keeping us connected and hooked from beginning to end. I love how her story depicts characters that are realistic, believable and completely relatable.
As with all her other books, this is really well written, entirely captivating, and was a really fun read. I can’t wait to see what she does next!

Thank you, Ms. Montgomery!

Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth Book 1)Music Man by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I give Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth Book 1) by K.L. Montgomery, 5 stars.

This is another amazing book in an incredible series. First off, this series is in my neck of the woods. That is what interested me in the series in the first place. How many people write about Delaware in fiction?! What kept me is the incredible writing of an obviously talented author. This book is another amazing example of it. These characters are so real, the have real faults, real issues, and real feelings. Not one of these characters are flat. There are parts that will make you cry, parts that will make you laugh and parts where you really want to smack the characters upside the head. But that’s ok, they’re allowed. The story of him wanting to be a “rock star” is an interesting twist for this series. I am blown away at how may different storylines and types of people the author can come up with. They do not feel like the same thing again and again. I congratulate her on this and hope to read many more in this series. Needless to say, I could not put the book down.

Oh and for the record, driving while being stuck behind a chicken truck — pure Slower Lower. Talk about realism!

If you are a fan of sweet romances where the people are real and they struggle just like normal couples, this book and series are for you.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 1-3)Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Romance in Rehoboth #1-3) by K.L. Montgomery was a great 5 star read. This is a great opportunity to have the first three books of this great series all at one time. Once you start you will be pulled right in.

Book 1 Music Man:
This is Claire and Jack’s story and I loved it.
Jack has always had the dream to make it big in the music industry. Life had other ideas for him and he ended up a music teacher. When he meets Claire there is an instant connection, they are great together. After Claire encourages Jack to enter a contest, things take a great turn for him and he gets another chance at his dream.

Can Jack have it all, family, music career and Claire?

Overall I really enjoyed this story. Claire loves Jack and will support him in anything he wants to do. Jack also loves Claire and is great with his daughter. There is so much going on in this read I don’t want to give anything away. The secondary characters were great. I also had some LOL moments as well.

Book 2 The Flip:
What do you do when the person you hate becomes a co-owner of the same house as you? Andrew and Sonnet have a not so great past from high school, when they find themselves in an odd predicament they choose to fix up the home and sell it. Sounds easy right? Not so much.

These two have such a connection that they try to deny in the beginning, eventually they decide to give a little summer romance a try. Will it stay just a summer thing?

I was pulled right in and couldn’t stop until I was done. I loved all of the characters, they added a great element to the story. Both Andrew and Sonnet grew on me, I loved her sassiness. There was something enlightening about reading this book, I had so many LOL moments. If you’re looking for a good fun read, this is your book.

Book 3 Plot Twist:
Lindy is a teacher who is taking care of her parents and working on her dream.
When Lindy’s friends convince her to join the theater, this is where she meets Meric.

Meric is an accountant and is in the middle of a divorce. When he meets Lindy at the theater he is drawn in by her. He wasn’t planning on any type of relationship but something about her is different.

These two have some issues that have them holding back. Can they get past these feelings and have something together? They form a great friendship, it’s great watching them grow and develop their relationship into something more.

Will they get a HEA?

I really liked Lindy’s sassiness and how she connected with Meric. These two pulled me right in with their story. The secondary characters added a great element to the story. The only thing that gets to me is that Lindy is plus-size and I at times have a hard time with what is considered plus-size, I would have been just as happy not knowing her size and only knowing her as the great loveable character she is. If you are looking for a great romance with some LOL moments this would be a great book for you. Thank you K.L. Montgomery for another page turner.

I love that KL writes about real women with less than what others perceive perfect bodies. I’ve read various books from this author and its been a while so I was glad I got my hands on this read! Music Man is Book #1 in a new series and I can’t believe I waited to read more books by this author!
This book had me hooked from the very beginning, it was fun, it had Laugh out Loud Moments and it had romance what more could you want! This author has an amazing way with words and in doing so creates a storyline that is brilliant and characters that are relatable, lovable and you really connect with them and can’t wait to find out more of their journey.
I loved that Fat Girl wasn’t the end of Claire’s journey and we got more of her story in this read, and boy I wasn’t disappointed, I loved reading about her developing connection to Jack but would his dreams get in the way of their HEA?!

I’m so glad I read this read, and can’t wait for more to come in this series. I highly recommend this read and all other reads by this author!

Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth Book 1)Music Man by K.L. Montgomery

This is really a wonderful read! The story has its ups and downs. But really towards the end….I couldn’t put it down. Those words he wrote are worth tearing up over. The characters we have met almost all of them previously (if you read Fat Girl). This story made me like Claire, Jack and Anita more. Each showed great growth in their character. I enjoyed how not every thought of Claire was self doubt on her looks, thoughts or actions. It was nice plus she got some backbone. Jack went from a sexy man beast to an unrecognizable Star. For Anita? She surprised me the most and I have to say I loved all the Darth Vader references to her.

Overall this is a story I read really quickly. It has a nice flow and the plight of the characters kept me reading. Jacks song’s were great but even more because he wrote them for Claire. I didn’t realize he had that in him. Very Enjoyable!

Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth Book 1)Music Man by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Music Man by K.L. Montgomery a five-star read that is like music to your ears. This is number one in the Romance in Rehoboth series and what a start, I am in love already, I have read the rest of the series and gone back to the start for this one and can attest that they can be read as standalone as they set in the same amazing place with some interacting characters but not in each other’s pockets, best of all worlds. This brings to us what I have come to love from this author and realness and a harsh look at life as it really is, but with a heart warming spin that sows us that just because there are wicked people in the world doesn’t mean deep down we have to join them, and just because you see the pretty outside doesn’t mean you see pretty inside and vice-versa, I love how the author shows us that side of life. I simply adored Claire as she has this amazing inner monologue that just made me relate to her infinity. Do not miss this story as it will bring music to your life.

Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth Book 1)Music Man by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

K.L. Montgomery always has the best plot lines and characters. I am never disappointed when I pick up her books. Her characters are complex and many layers go into their personas. They are so real and I personally feel like I am in the story with them. The plot line is one that could happen in everyday life. To be honest that is one reason why I love reading K.L. Montgomery’s books. Who can honestly say that they did not fall for a music man? Even if it was just a crush. Jack’s story is just that. He is a musician man but also a single dad. Claire is that girl. She just had a milestone birthday and has fallen for her “Music Man”. What will become of the relationship with Jack and Claire? I highly recommend you reading this story to find out.

Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth #1)
By K.L. Montgomery
5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading the story Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth #1) by K.L. Montgomery. It is a book that pulled me in from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the last page. I loved reading about the characters of Jack and Claire. Jack’s first love has always been music. Life got in the way of him making a big splash in the music world and he finds himself teaching music. What will Jack do if he is given a second shot at his first love? Claire is sassy, strong, and independent. She has fallen for Jack. She finds Jack irresistible. What does the future hold for Jack and Claire? Will Jack’s dream finally happen? Read this book to find out. This story has lighthearted moments that made me laugh and other moments when situations would happen that made me wonder how everything was going to work out. I found myself rooting for Jack and Claire and wanted them to be happy. Other characters interact with Jack and Claire and are enjoyable to read about. This is a book that has moments that touch and warm your heart. It is a story that you don’t want to miss out on. I highly recommend it.

Music Man (Romance in Rehoboth Book 1)Music Man by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book. It is a great start to a new series by this author. This is a well written story that has characters that pop off the pages and into your heart. They are connectable and they easily pulled me into their story. They kept the story engaging and I love how the females are very strong and know what they want and how to get it. What happens when music is the only thing you love? Jack meets Claire and their is instant attraction. What will happen when Jack finally gets his big break but he has a strong love for Claire? This is where the story picks up and I couldn’t put it down. Their story is awesome and I highly recommend this must read book. You won’t regret picking up this book.

You’re never too old to fall in love with a rock star. Or chase your dreams.

The Fat Girl’s Guide to Loving Your Body by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Makaela Patterson

This book was very interesting to read. As you keep reading you find yourself looking deep within. Some of the thoughts I took away from this book is that you have to know your own worth and if your not there itches next step is you. It starts with you. Take action on your self love journey Sometimes your mind can be your own problem you can be toxic to yourself. Easier said than done to re work your brain to think more positive I know. This book is such a touchy topic, and can be such a sore spot for people to talk about. One of the things I like about her book is that she makes the books very funny and light hearted kicking off your self Discovery and journey to loving yourself.

I don’t really read a lot of self-help books but this is one I’d definitely recommend. I’ve always been a skinny girl but have in the past few years become much more concerned with how I look. This book really helped me think about the way I think about my body and how that connects with other parts of my life. I loved the addition of the journalling prompts spread out throughout the book and the 365 daily prompts at the end, and the writing style is exactly like chatting with the author over coffee – girl next door and all. Highly recommended.

The Fat Girls Guide to Loving Your Body by K.L. Montgomery is a book you need to read. Although this book is primarily a body positive book it can be about anything in yourself that you have decided you do not like. Ms. Montgomery points out in this book how that is a “choice”. Of course, we all want to say…well that’s easy to say but how do you do it. What are the mechanics of making a different choice? In this book Ms. Montgomery takes you on a journey that will lead you into learning how to do that. She teaches you the mechanics if you are listening with your heart and mind. The language is a little rough at times, but I think it reflects a very real person that is talking to you in a very real way. Not dressed up and all Grammarly but plain and simple, and down and dirty. I feel like it reflects the heart of someone who has a very real desire to help people find out where happiness can be found. Let K.L. Montgomery show you how you are so much more “than the sum of your parts.”

Wow, just Wow, I really felt like this book, this author was really talking straight too me! K.L. Montgomery who refers to herself as Krista in her book is a ‘Kindred Spirit’. This is definitely not just another self-help book, it is much more than that, if like the blurb says, “Do you wonder if you’ll ever be happy with your body? then I recommend this book.
It is written in the first person almost as though Krista is talking to you personally, just chatting as friends as it has a casual feel to the writing which I liked and felt was right for this book. The book is divided into bite size chapters with clear headings and each one deals with a particular subject at the end of each chapter is a journaling assignment for the reader to work on.
Krista introduces us to ‘Journaling’ in an early chapter and this is what makes this book unique, as it is gives the book an interactive feel and gets us, as the reader involved and thinking about our own experiences and how we can change for the better. Krista is very clear throughout the book that, “it’s indeed your mind that needs to change, not your body”. “IT IS NOT YOUR JOB TO BE PRETTY” is another saying which is repeated throughout the book. She reaffirms her positive sayings throughout the book.
Krista talks us through ‘deprogramming’ in one chapter and she introduces us to ‘Body Positivity or ‘BoPo’ as she refers to it. I love the fact that Krista is honest and talks openly about her own experiences which made me feel as though I was not alone in my thinking and that someone felt the same, this kept me engaged in the book from beginning to end and I read it in hours not days.
I have also referred back to certain chapters and feel that having read it cover to cover the use of easily identified chapters means the parts that are specific to you, you can refer back to. I love the fact that at then end you can download and print a certificate to, “remind yourself of your commitment to loving your body”. You can also join Krista’s ‘Fat Girl Tribe’, on Facebook and the book ends with a section of daily ‘BoPo’ Meditations which enables the reader to continue their journey, each day has an affirmation to be read and reflected on.
As Krista observes at the end of her book, changing ones mindset and learning to love your body is not an overnight thing. The, “meditations are meant to keep your focus on all things body positive”. I could go on raving about this book for hours but really you need to read it for yourselves to understand how inspirational Krista is and how her advice in this book can really help you.
Therefore I can not recommend this book highly enough, a definite must read for anyone wanting to achieve a more positive body image!
So if as the blurb says, “Have you ever struggled to love your body? then yes I definitely agree that, “YES “YOU NEED THIS BOOK. NOW”!

This is a must read book for everyone, especially if you have self image issues. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I started reading this book, but this book gave me something to think about. I don’t have to settle and this book gave me some great ideas about self image and attitude. I love the narrative when K.L. Is talking to you like a girlfriend. I’m not much for writing, but the exercises were stimulating and help give me a different perspective. So me new outlook on this year is to be better to myself and try not to sweat the small stuff. Life throws us enough curveballs we shouldn’t bring more on ourselves. Thank you Krista Lynne for the insightful words of wisdom. I look forward to continuing down this healing path for the foreseeable future.

This is not a self help book but a self love book.

This isn’t the type of book I normally read but took more from it than I thought I would.
Yes, it is aimed at plus sized women but I believe that everyone should try to love their body because it’s the only one we get get and although it is a long process, this book will give you some essential tips to help you achieve that. It opened my eyes to some issues plus sized women go through and I have learned valuable lessons in what is appropriate to say to friends and family when they say things about their weight.

This isn’t just a book, it’s a self love journal and a self love bible.

The Fat Girls Guide is surprisingly quirky, and incredibly inspirational. I enjoyed the book from the moment I started reading it to the moment i finished it. K L Montgomery has a way with making you laugh, and helping you discover yourself in the same paragraph. This book deserves 5 stars for it’s absolutely whimsical way of writing and overall being a great book. I truly loved this book and plan on reading it again!
