Remember to Forget Me (Too Lost To Love, #1)Remember to Forget Me by Hazel Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book from the moment I started reading. Wesley and Addison go through such a journey together to get to where they are and I loved watching it. Even after their years apart the chemistry between them was undeniable. I wanted them to find a way to make things work, even with everything between them.
I thought the author did an amazing job at injecting emotion into every part of this book. You really do feel like you are on an emotional rollercoaster as the story progresses. This is a fantastic book and I would recommend it to any fan of this genre.

What a unique and interesting take on Romeo and Juliet – and a much better version in my opinion. Jace and Cyrus are simply amazing. I loved them individually, and their characters, and I loved the connection that was so easy to see between them. Despite everything being against them I desperately wanted them to find a way.
The story itself is exciting and well written. Although I knew it was based on Romeo and Juliet it definitely does not live in its shadows. This is a real page turned and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book!

Enemies to lovers are some of my favourite books and this one is right up there with the best of them! I thought the characters were a perfect match for each other and the attraction between was real and believable. The connection they had was not only strong but I thought, at times, highly entertaining. They pushed each other really made me buy into them.
I loved the pace of the book. I thought it was so easy to get into and it kept my interest from start to finish. The author has created a strong series that, right now, I can’t get enough of. This is an amazing book and I can’t wait to finish the others.

What an interesting and entertaining story this book turned out to be. This is a new author to me so I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading. The story sounded interesting enough for me to give it a try and I was honestly not disappointed. I was pulled into the story so effortlessly and I enjoyed every second of reading it.
I loved how the author created such memorable characters and a storyline that was easy to get lost in. I found myself flying through this book quicker than I wanted because I wasn’t ready for it to end. This was an amazing book and such an incredible way to be introduced to a new author.

I have learnt to expect the unexpected from this author and his books and this one is no exception. I think this book has to be my favourite of them all so far. I was riveted by the story unfolding in front of me, and the way it was developed so perfectly. I kept changing my mind on what I thought had happened, never really able to settle on an answer leaving me open to be surprised as the story developed.
I thought the book was so well written. The characters were brilliant. I bought into them just as much as the story itself. The whole book had me gripped and I read it all in one sitting. This is another example of why I enjoy this author so much and I urge everyone to add this to their TBR piles straight away!

Ouroboros (Antipodes #3)Ouroboros by T.S. Simons
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ouroboros by T.S. Simons is the third book in the Antipodes series. I would definitely recommend reading this series in order so that you get the full experience. I think this book has to be my favourite of the series so far. I really got into this book and found myself getting completely lost in the story. There was much in this book, it had such an attention to detail and so much going on.
I really enjoyed getting to see more about these characters and the journey they are on. Even more so with this book it felt like I was going on the same journey with them, even with it being a dystopian future. I could imagine everything the author was writing and I felt immersed in the book as a whole.
This is a brilliant series and this book is excellent. I would highly recommend reading them.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When I started reading this book I didn’t realise it was based on a true story so did not expect the depth and the emotion I found. This book completely took me by surprise in the best possible way. I was completely captivated by the story and this family that you are reading about. I felt completely connected to the characters and felt like the author really reflected what they must have gone through. The emotions I felt when reading this book where immense but so fitting.
The writing style worked perfectly for this book. The author did an amazing job at portraying the time and the journey the family must have gone through. And even though it is not something you can truly imagine, they really made it feel like you were there with them. This is an incredible story, and one that I cannot recommend highly enough.

This is a dark and intense story that I have to say surprised me. There are a lot of triggers in this book, so if you watch out for that then definitely read this boom cautiously – but so read it. The connection between these two characters was so strong and real that it easily carries the whole book. You believe in their connection and their journey.
I think the author does an amazing job with the way she tackles mental health. It is the perfect portrayal while still keeping the story momentum. This was an amazing book that I thoroughly enjoyed.

What a highly entertaining book this is! I wasn’t sure what to really expect when I started reading it but entertaining and funny was not what I would have said. It is a grrt murder mystery story that is combined with witty humour, interesting characters and a strong plot to go with it. I read this book so quickly because it was such a good read. I was hooked by what was happening and wanted to read more. I would highly recommend this book!

It had been a while since I had read this book so I couldn’t wait to experience it in a different format. And what a great way yo dive back into it this was. I found myself becoming so immersed in the story while listening to it and I was completely hooked once again with the story. I thought the narrator did a great job – the boom was vivid and easy to picture exactly what was going on. It made me excited for this series all over again. For me, everything about this is perfect and I think everyone should have a listen today!

I was pulled straight in with no effort whatsoever and finished the entire book in one sitting. I could not get enough of these characters or the story. This author has such an effortless was of completely captivating me with everything single thing she writes. This author is one that never fails to impress. I never hesitate to start reading a book she has written because they are all so good, and this is just another one to add to that list. I loved the story between the main characters. They were exactly what each of them needed and I loved the way they developed.
The story was emotional and well written. I was fully invested in what the author had written. I always enjoy how varied her work is. No two books are ever the same which is why I think I like them so much. This is another great story by an author who should be on every ones one click list.

Something About Aimee (Girls from the Street Book 1)Something About Aimee by S.E. Smith
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

What I loved the most about this book is that the characters really are worlds apart from each other. Their situations couldn’t be any more different and yet somehow it worked – without either having to make great changes to their personality in the process. I enjoyed this because I connected with the characters right from the start and would have hated for them to have completely changed by the end of the story.
The storyline was pretty good too. I was caught up in what was happening, and the emotions that ran through the book. I thought the author did a great job of making you, as the reader, become invested in what was happening. Overall, I thought this was a highly enjoyable story and I look forward to exploring more of this authors work.

The Liminal Space (Antipodes #2)The Liminal Space by T.S. Simons
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Liminal Space by T.S. Simons is the second book in the Antipodes series. For me this is a series that really does need to be read in order so you can fully appreciate what is happening.
I found this book to be just as detailed and well thought out as the first book. I really love how it makes you think about what it is trying to do. It really helps to draw you into the story even more. Even after reading this book I’m really not sure what I would do if I had the chance to do things over. It is one of those questions that I don’t think you would truly know the answer to until you had to decide.
This book in detailed and comprehensive and a really great read. I would highly recommend this series!

Having read other books by this author I was excited to pick up the next one from her, and the first in a new series. Although not my favourite book by her this story is exciting g, fast paced and filled with so much drama it will keep you on your toes. The author has packed so much into this story, there really is never a dull moment.
I enjoyed the overall premise of the book. I could easily see what the author was trying to achieve and I think she managed to write a strong book. This is a good start to a new series and I am looking forward to the next book.

This is an emotional and complex story, more so than I thought it would be as I was expecting a typical romance book when I started. But this book has a depth to it you don’t find with most romance books and pull that I hadn’t thought would be there.
The characters completely make this book. They are so well written. They each have their own story, their own voice, and I wanted to listen to all of them. I was invested in the book and the outcome and I couldn’t wait to see how things would resolve. This was a surprising read but a good one nonetheless.

This is a fun and entertaining romance story with some truly brilliant characters. I loved the connection between the 2 main characters and the banter they had between them. I thought they were so well matched and fit perfectly with the feel of the story the author seemed to be going for.
I always have a soft spot when any part of a book, or the characters, involve the UK, so for this to involve a Scottish lead, I knew I couldn’t resist. I thought the book was well written. It was easy to connect with and easy to read – I read it all in one sitting without realising I was flying through it that quickly! This is a great story and definitely one to add to the list.

I thoroughly enjoyed this modern tame if Pride and Prejudice. It felt like the classic book and yet at the same time felt fresh and new. The characters were a great part of this story, drawing you as the reader in. They matched perfectly with the story and made it much more interesting.
I enjoyed the mix of British and American. It was entertaining to read and kept the book feeling revived. I thought this was a great re-imagining by the the author and I am looking forward to the next book.

After reading the prequel I was really looking forward to starting this book, and picked it up immediately. This book was just as good as that one, just more detailed and with even more excitement. The story is a bit of a slow build, the author developing it bit by bit, but I found that just drew me in more. I wanted to get further into the story and I really wanted to read more about EmVee.
As the second book in the series this has made me more excited about what is to come. The author is creating a strong and interesting series and I can’t wait to see where that takes us.

This is a great prequel story and it was really good to be able to add it to the series. I loved the new perspective it gave and the extra detail it provided. The book was well written and really easy to engage with. I was pleased that I read this first as it gave me a bit more of an expectation for the next book and it caught my attention enough to want to read that straight way.
The author has created a book that, for me, is a brilliant example of a prequel done well.

What a start to a new series! This book grabs your attention right from the word go and really doesn’t let up at all. I loved everything about this book – the characters, the story, the writing style. The author has created a book that really stays with you even after you have finished reading.
The book is entertaining as well, in a way I don’t often find books like this to be. Honestly, it ticked all the boxes for me and if this is just the start I can’t wait to see what is to come next.

This book is a great, steamy, standalone romance story that is pretty quick to read but a good read nonetheless. Although I think the book could have benefited from a little bit more depth at times I still found myself pulled in by the characters. This, for me, is the perfect kind of book to get lost in one afternoon.
Mia and Dylan really were what this book was all about. Their story and their connection was believable and easy to get behind. The author has clearly set up the basis for other books in the series, with periphery characters from this book, and I am already looking forward to reading them.

This book was much more detailed and involved than I was expecting. I went into reading it thinking I was going to get a nice, simple romance story and instead got a book that gave me so much more. I loved the characters in the story. They all had so much about them that even the secondary characters seemed to stand out.
The story was really well developed. The author seemed to have thought everything through and pushed the story forward as it needed. This was a surprisingly good read that I thoroughly enjoyed.

This is a series that I have enjoyed right from the beginning and I love this new addition to it. This book is easily my favourite in the series so far. I just loved getting to know Andy and Stella, their relationship seemed so precious and exactly what they both needed. And I was really rooting for Stephen to find a way to be a part of the family again.
Then came the mystery and intrigue of the killer targeting them. For me, that just added a whole new layer to the story and made it so much more enjoyable. The author has really caught my attention with this book and I could not put it down. Not only is this an already strong series – this book for me is fantastic all on its own.

A Quirk of Destiny: Ignoramus et IgnorabimusA Quirk of Destiny: Ignoramus et Ignorabimus by Catherine Greenall
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a dystopian novel with an emphasis on real world problems. The author has created a story that is fictional and set in a dystopian world but has given it a very realistic feel by basing it on current global issues such as GM vs organic food and general political views.
I thought the idea behind the story was good. It was an enjoyable plot with characters that fit well within the story. I found it hard to really connect with it though as, at times, it felt like it was a little too political for my liking. While I don’t’ mind reading books like that, I prefer my dystopian novels to be more on the fictional side.
However, the book was well written and certainly interesting. It gave me a good view into the authors writing style and has made me want to read more of her work.

Well this story felt like it has it all. Historical fiction – check. Mystery and intrigued – check. Interesting characters – check. A great storyline- check. I did not take long at all for me to become invested in this book. I wanted to figure out the mystery and see what was going on. The author really draws you into the book and takes you on the same journey as the characters.
I thought the book was really well written. It was so easy to imagine the time and place the author were describing. At times I felt like I could really picture myself there, right among the characters. This book was a great one to read and I really enjoyed it from start to finish. Definitely a book worth picking up to read!

What a lovely romance story centred around some heart-warming characters. These are the kind of characters that I can easily get lost in and find myself reading through the whole book without realising. The author has captured the essence of a small town romance while providing an interesting and engaging story.
The characters really did make this story for me though. I was just drawn to them and really connected with them right from the word go. I found myself rooting for them almost immediately and I couldn’t wait to see how their story would turn out.
