The Billionaire and the Therapist (Clean Billionaire Romance Reads, #1)The Billionaire and the Therapist by Kim Koby
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Billionaire and the Therapist is the first novel in the Clean Billionaire Romance series by Kim Koby. This is my first novel by this author.

Natalie moves to Texas after a traumatic experience. She wants to start over but unfortunately she is always looking over her shoulder. She just wants to feel safe again.

After losing his wife a few years ago, John is adjusting to being a single father to his daughter Catherine. But when she stops talking, he isn’t sure what to do. With the recommendation of a speech therapy, he decides to give it a try even though he is skeptical.

When the two worlds collide, will a romance possibly be in the mix?

This was a short story with wonder characters and an interesting plot.

I don’t want to give too much away. I highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars

The Billionaire and the Therapist is the first book in the Clean Billionaire Romance Reads written by Kim Koby. This is a sweet love story about second chances. The characters are amazing and well written and I really enjoyed the plot

Natalie is a kind-hearted, caring speech therapist. She had to start over in Texas and put her past behind her. But now she is also overwhelmed at the prospect that the man who once stalked her could be released. All she wants is to feel safe again.

A few years ago John Callahan lost his wife in a tragic car accident now he is a single father to their daughter Catherine. He is at his wit ends when it comes to his daughter he knows they’re not the same but when she goes from a happy talkative little girl to not speaking. So how does he help his daughter he hires a speech therapist and you guessed it its Natalie. He will do anything for Catherine.

You could see the sparks fly when these two meet. So when their feeling start to deepen John is worried what Natalie will do when his secret comes out. Will Catherine talk again? Can Natalie help Catherine? Can Natalie and John move far-word with their lives? Will their past come back to haunt them?

I highly recommend this story it’s awesome….

I just finished reading The Billionaire and the Therapist.

First of all – I really liked the world building and the characters in this book.

You could easily picture yourself there and everything that was going on, at any given time.

There were a few parts in this story that made me want to reach in and hug the characters – especially Catherine.

But the chemistry and the blossoming relationship between Natalie and John was very obvious and you couldn’t help but to root for them.

I’ve already got my hand on book number 2 in this series and I can’t wait to read it!

Solid 5 stars from a new fan!

The Billionaire and the Therapist was a wonderful read. I do have a soft spot for a Billionaire story (wishful thinking for me I think sometimes!!) but sometimes they can be very much the same however I love that this was one different. Kim Koby took a genre and made it different to anything that I had read before. Whilst I love the hot and steamy romance stories I also love a nice clean romance like this one and I just adored every minute of it! I fell in love with the characters straight away- I felt for John and everything that he had been through – at times I could feel the desperation that he was feeling when trying to help his daughter. I could feel the connection he had with Natalie straight away and I was definitely rooting for them the whole way through!
I am definitely looking forward to reading the next book in this series and more from this author again in the future.

This is a shorter book but packed full of romance and drama. You first meet John who sadly lost his wife to a tragic accident and his 7 year old daughter Catherine, who unfortunately saw her mother die. After witnessing her mother’s death she stops speaking for almost 2 years. John reaches out to a speech therapist named Natalie who has a very dark past with a stalker that has terrorized her. Together these 3 push and pull their way into the future to hopefully help Catherine heal and both John and Natalie move on in their lives. I really enjoyed this book.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Billionaire and the Therapist (Clean Billionaire Romance Reads Book 1) by Kim Koby is an inspirational second chance romance. One billionaire with the world within his reach just looking for an opportunity to help his daughter. One therapist who wants to make an impact in children’s lives while surviving her own. This story is filled with yearning, chemistry, sharing of the past, to include drama and some suspense. The author provides a story that is more about the characters and their lives than some of the additional content that romance stories are known for. Despite this, Kim Koby has provided a thoroughly engaging story. Some parts of the story felt too easily pushed aside knowing the stage that was set in the book, but overall, The Billionaire and the Therapist was a solid read.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Billionaire and the Therapist is the first book in Kim Koby’s Clean Billionaire Romance Reads. It is not the first book I have read by this writer so I decided to pick up a copy to get out of my funk … I needed to read something Happily Ever After, something sweet … I did feel at times that it was too short and there was a lot that the writer could have delved deeper into and left the door closed … I also felt that the billionaire lifestyle aspect fell a bit short when I compare it to some of the other billionaire stories I have read but in reality, who really knows how it all looks like … not me!
The Billionaire and the Therapist the story of John Callahan who has lost his wife and his seven year old daughter Catherine has stopped speaking. Enters Natalie Ross, a speech therapist, who has her own bag of demons. They grow closer and closer while Natalie is working with Catherine and they come to the point where they both need to face their past…
Pick up a copy if you are looking for an easy pick-me-up story and I already checked out that one of John’s brothers is getting his own story! (I wonder if we end up with all five, I would definitely not mind!)

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The first book in the Clean Billionaire Romance Reads, The Billionaire and The Therapist follows John and Natalie as they explore a new relationship under some difficult circumstances. This is a quick read that satisfies your sweet romance craving perfectly.

We meet Natalie at a crucial point in her life. Still living with the fear from a recent tragic event, she has changed her whole life to try and help her feel safe again. Finally settled in Texas, things really kick off when she accepts a job proposal from billionaire, John. He is the perfect mixture of alpha-businessman and kind, sweet-hearted father. Him and Natalie have an instant connection, mostly through their shared determination to help manage his daughter’s PTSD. There is a lot of love in this book and that is what makes it such an enjoyable read. This book doesn’t have lots of steamy romance scenes, but it delivers believable love in many other ways.

I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet read. With the perfect balance of drama and love, this book hits all the right spots. It sets up the rest of the series perfectly and I can’t wait to read more of them.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book I have read from this author and now she has a new fan. I absolutely love billionaire romance but this talented author exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book to the Clean Billionaire series. I was hooked on this book right from the start. It only took me a few hours to devour this incredible book.

John Callahan lost his wife a couple of years ago in a horrible accident. He is now a single dad that is trying to do the best he can in raising his daughter. John doesn’t know what to do when his daughter stops talking. He knows deep down his little girl is still there. John is told to hire a speech therapist. Natalie Ross came highly recommend for John’s little girl Catherine. She left her hometown to get a fresh start. Natalie doesn’t trust men due to her past. She gets a letter saying that her past will soon be free. Natalie and John start to get to know each other. They quickly realize they have strong feelings for eachother. Will John and Natalie be able to move on from their pasts or will their pasts ruin everything? Will John get his little girl back or is there just too much pain?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, trust, healing, and forgiveness. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters. John is an amazing dad to his daughter. He would do anything to see her happy. John also is a very good man. The way he treats Natalie will make your heart melt. Natalie is a sweetheart that had a dark past. She wants to move on but she doesn’t know how. This talented author will leave you at the edge of your seat until the end. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.

The Billionaire and the Therapist (Clean Billionaire Romance Reads, #1)The Billionaire and the Therapist by Kim Koby
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Billionaire and the Therapist by Kim Koby is Book 1 of the Clean Billionaire Romance Reads. I thought this book was great from the beginning. Natalie is a therapist who has a past. She is hiding out in Texas hoping her past won’t find her. She gets a call about a possible job working with the Callahan family. Catherine Callahan is a 7 year old girl who had witnessed the unthinkable. To lose a parent at that age is just heartbreaking but to witness it firsthand is even worse.

John convinces Natalie to sign a one year contract and he will pay any amount of money just to hear his daughter talk again. Obviously John and Natalie are attracted to each other but try to remain as professional as possible. When John starts seeing small positive changes in Catherine, he cannot hide his feelings much more.

When Natalie gets a letter from someone in her past she gets a little worried wondering how he has found her. John vows to protect her and his family.

The characters were good, the writing was good and the story itself was good. It was a little short but worth spending the night at home with a glass of wine.

The Billionaire and the Therapist by Kim Koby is the first book in the Clean Billionaire Romance Reads. It was a sweet story, though I felt like it was a little too short and a few areas where she didn’t go into enough detail for my taste.

John has been dealing with the loss of his wife for two years now, but the way his daughter, Catherine has started handling it has him concerned and contacting a therapist who comes highly recommended.

Natalie is an amazing children’s therapist, she loves her job and has no idea what to expect when she meets John and Catherine. But she has a past she’s running from which could effect not only treating Catherine but everything.

I love my romance books and all that comes with them but I didn’t miss any of that here. It was actually kinda nice change.

I recommend giving this book a chance.

I haven’t read a clean romance in FOREVER and I can honestly say I loved this one. It was like a breath of fresh air. It had all the feels, a little angst and some drama but definitely go me hooked to the series.

John is a single father after tragically losing his wife. His daughter went from being all smiles and talkative to not talking at all. It’s suggested she start speech therapy and John will do anything to help his little girl.

Natalie has her own past and demons she’s trying to escape. She was offered the job to be John’s exclusive speech therapist for his daughter. The more they got to know each other the closer they became until the past threatens to take over her life.

I absolutely loved this book and I’m so excited to read further into the series. Miss Koby writes beautiful stories that completely take a hold of you!

This was a short and sweet story for me. I knew it was a quick read when I picked it up but I didn’t think I would get so invested in the characters. Kim Koby packs this short story with so much emotion and just the right amount of tension that keeps you wanting more. I liked that this wasn’t a typical story line either, that each character was just a little different from what you would expect. This is the first book in her Clean Billionaire Romance Series so I assume that I may get another glimpse of John, Catherine and Natalie in the future which makes me a happy reader.

This is my second book by this author and I did enjoy it, maybe not as much as the first one I read but I did and can not wait for the next in the series.

I loved the characters, I loved the storyline and while the first book I read by this author was also quite short it felt smoother and the author was able to fit a complete story without any issue, this one in some ways felt rushed to me, there didn’t need to be a whole lot more but with a few more pages a smoother story might have happened..This is purely my feelings about it and others may feel completely different. Again though, in saying all of that I still completely loved this book and I guess in a nutshell would have liked more of it.

I love that this author writes clean romances and there are never any scenes I might need to skim through depending on my mood that day.

Honestly this book teeters towards a 5 star for me but it’s only the things moving a bit too fast that keeps me back.

This author is a must read, and I can not wait for the next, I have a feeling it’s going to include one of Johns brothers and I’m kind of hoping it is Mark…Mr. I’m going to be a bachelor for a long time LOL

Awesome and highly recommend.

The Billionaire and the Therapist is the first book in the Clean Billionaire Romance Reads series by Kim Koby. It is a sweet, clean, second chance romance that has some secrets, angst, and a little drama.
John Callahan lost his wife in a car accident a couple of years ago leaving him a single father to their daughter Catherine. Their loss has changed them both, especially Catherine who has gone from a happy, talkative child, to not speaking altogether- and John just doesn’t know how to reach her. When speech therapy is recommended, he isn’t convinced, but is willing to try anything if it means helping Catherine.
Natalie Ross is a Speech therapist who has had her life turned upside down by a traumatic event a few years earlier. She moved states and started over- but is still looking over her shoulder, stuck in the past and not really living. She’s exhausted by it all and all she really wants is to feel safe. When she’s offered the job of working exclusively with John’s daughter, she isn’t sure about working for an arrogant rich man- but when she hears Catherine’s story, Natalie wants to try to help her. As she starts working with Catherine, she becomes closer to John and he makes her feel safe. But what happens when her past threatens to destroy everything? And what kind of chance does a paper plate kind of girl really have with a silver spoon kind of guy? You will need to read the story to get all the intriguing details for yourself.
If you like a lovely, sweet, short and easy romantic story- then this is definitely the book for you!

Thank you, Ms. Koby!

THE BILLIONAIRE AND THE THERAPIST is a “clean” take on the typical male billionaire/beholden female story.

This is a quick story that was filled with absolutely every cliche… From the protagonist’s family to the size of his plane (and no that is not a euphemism for the size of his – well, you know), this story had it all. The story moves between events seamlessly with each chapter setting up the next.

There are secondary characters who help move the story forward and some are super annoying while others are interesting. Some of them just ticked me off based on their hypocrisy against events and people.

The cool thing about this book is that because it’s a clean/Christian romance (no sex, limited swears, not afraid to discuss Higher Power) I would have no problem recommending it to an elderly ladies’ book club or a younger person who was interested in exploring different styles of writing.

By Kim Koby
Rated 3 stars

This started off great a trauma, mystery then possible romance. I enjoyed the characters and it was easy to get into their story. It was near the end that it started to skip around and become rushed. Maybe even the last two chapters could have been an epilogue which would help some. Other than that It actually was a lovely story. I can’t even imagine the world the male MC lives in. Billionaire!? Wow! I didn’t care for him at first because of his attitude about the price of things. He got a little looser as the story moved forward. The female MC seemed legit. A therapist who works with horses and children. So cool!
The secondary characters were different. The brothers, the parents, the child, and the bodyguards all had different personas. From raging mad to aggravatingly polite. Some of these were useful to the story…others not so much.
Overall it’s a good story. It was easy to follow along and the characters were interesting.

The story The Billionaire and the Therapist (Clean Billionaire Romance Reads Book 1) by Kim Koby is an amazing romance book to read. I loved every minute of it. The story is not a long one, it is beautifully written and full of powerful emotions. I loved reading about Natalie and John. Natalie is kind-hearted, caring and a wonderful speech therapist. She is also overwhelmed at the prospect that the man who once stalked her could be released. It is dealing with this knowledge that she is hired to help John’s daughter. John is not the man he used to be. The one thing that is for sure is the love that he has for his daughter and the helplessness he feels in not being able to help her. Then he meets and hires Natalie. There is an attraction between Natalie and John. Their past shapes the way they live their lives and they come from different worlds. Can they both open up their hearts to the possibility of a relationship? What does the future hold for John and Natalie? Will Natalie be able to help John’s daughter? Read this book to find out. Natalie and John are characters that I couldn’t help but care about and I wanted them to find happiness. There are sad moments and also moments that warm your heart. This is a story that you won’t be able to put down until you have finished it. It is the first book in a series and I am looking forward to reading the next one. There are additional characters that are introduced and would love to learn more about them.

The Billionaire and the Therapist (Clean Billionaire Romance Reads Book 1) by Kim Koby is
an easy read romance story. I really enjoyed this really short story but would have liked to
see it fleshed out more in a novel. It was well written and I enjoyed the short journey with our
main characters that have been brought together after tragedy and fear.
John’s life was turned upside down the night he tragically lost his wife and almost lost his
daughter. Now he needs to do everything he can to make not only his daughter but also
himself whole again.
Natalie is living in fear of the man who ruined her life, but when she is offered a job that she
tried to turn down, she realises she has found so much more.
This is a sweet romance read that is a little scandalous and intriguing. I am excited to read
more about the rest of the clan.

Small Town Hero: Small Town Brides (Book 1) by Kim Koby

Small Town Hero by Kim Koby is a clean romance following Rebecca after she discovers her fiancé in bed with her best friend. She leaves and just drives until the point of exhaustion. After pulling off at a gas station to fill up and rest she wakes up 4 hours later to a car that refuses to start. After harassing her for loitering Ryan takes it upon himself to help her. After discovering that the nearest hotel is closed down for remodeling he offers to let her stay at his place in the guest room. Little does he know how much this small gesture would impact both of their lives.

I was amazed at how well Rebecca handled everything. If I were in her place I probably would have shut down and fallen into a world of despair. I loved how she was able to move past everything and even bring new joy into Ryan’s life. This beautiful novel was well written and clean. It focused mostly on n renewal but also shared how important the main characters faith was. I really enjoyed this novel and give it an easy 5-star rating.

Small Town Hero by Kim Koby a four-star read that will restore your faith. This is the first book in the Small Town Brides series and it was sweet, and romantic in the best possible ways. This was a great opposite attract, with some added drama as well the pages just flowed from each other with a great flow. The way we see Rebecca with her tough façade (with good reason, with a bestie like hers who needs enemies) and soft gentleness that we get to see when she shows her true self. It was a great development to the story, it wasn’t just this is a scorned woman ohh she met a man and now she’s happy there was detail and structure and a trueness to the flow, It just made it that much more of a stronger story.

Small Town Hero (Small Town Brides book 1) by Kim Koby – Review by Lisa Boltiador

Small Town Hero (Small Town Brides, #1)Small Town Hero by Kim Koby
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Small Town Hero is a sweet, whirlwind romance. Ryan seems mostly down to earth, sincere, and sweet. I do feel he’s a bit impulsive, jumping into things the way he does in this story. Rebecca has just gotten blindsided and lost everything that defines her in this moment. Even though it’s for the better and her personality even shines brighter after it all, I kind of wish she wasn’t so fast to jump in both feet with Ryan. It’s like running from one relationship to jump into another fully formed, super serious commitment. But these two do fall hard and fast and it’s worth it all in the end, which sneaks up on you.

Small Town Hero
Kim Koby
4 out of 5 stars

Small Town Hero is my first experience with Kim Koby’s writing and it also happens to be Small Town Bride book one. I wasn’t sure entirely what to expect with this book but overall I found that I enjoyed it. I was drawn to the storyline fairly quickly, I liked how the book started with a lot of emotion and kicked off right away. While the book wasn’t slow to kick off, I did feel like it took quite some time for me to connect with Rebecca. If I’m
being honest I am still not entirely sure how I feel about her character.
As far as characters go, I did really love Ryan from the start and despite my feelings toward Rebecca, the chemistry between the two in this story was really sweet and undeniable.
Small Town Hero was short and fast paced and honestly kept me on my toes emotionally. I liked that the obstacles Ryan and Rebecca faced were realistic and relatable, really showing that “Trust was vital when it came to love.”
I would recommend Small Town Hero to anyone that enjoys short, clean romances and after the way Kim Koby ended this book I am looking forward to reading more in the series. This doesn’t have a cliffhanger ending, Kim Koby just sets us up well for who will be the next to share their
story.
