Hula Girl by Lara Ward Cosio – Review by Shani Kenny

Hula GirlHula Girl by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ava is the typical workaholic, married to her career type. She doesn’t ever think about vacations, taking time off or doing anything except work. That is until she’s forced into a time out and is at odds with herself. Since she’s being forced into it, why not go to where the sand is warm, the sun is hot and the water is the perfect temperature and head off to Hawaii.

Ford is the classic surfer dude, easy going, enjoys the waves, gets lost easily into his days while on vacation. His love of music and teaching is set aside for a quick vacation to recharge. What a better place to do that all, catch some sick waves and embrace the spirit of vacation and just relax than Hawaii?

Their chance meeting sucks them both in. Ava learns to go with the flow, finds a connection with Ford on many levels but knows this has to stay what it is and that’s a vacation fling. Together their agreement turns into some hot and heavy activities that will leave them with memories of a lifetime. What they don’t expect is when they go back to their regular lives, finding each other again (there goes that thing called fate!) and suddenly a predicament. Even though their relationship is “fake” it turns into something way more. Do they go with it and make it work or call it all off?

This book has it all, sexy surfer hottie, gorgeous lawyer beauty, a crazy chicken, engagements, chance meetings all started on the backdrop of one of the most beautiful sceneries in the world. I absolutely loved the emotional pull that the author captures between the two. it’s not hard to fall in love with their story and want so much more for them. It’s an exceptional read that will have you wanting more!

Hula Girl by Lara is a wonderful story and set in one of the world’s most beautiful locations, Hawaii. Throw in a hot and sexy surfer, a sexy and sassy girl on vacation and you are in for one great ride. This story is addicting and I fell in love with the characters and it was a pleasure to read their story. Well done Lara will this very emotive and well written characters. I loved this so much I read it in one sitting!

Ava finds herself at odds when she is forced to take a vacation from her highly stressful job. She doesn’t know how to do nothing, unwind and enjoy herself. When she narrowly misses a disaster due to a wandering chicken, little does she know her life is about to change and for the better if only she would take a chance. Now the vacation is over and was it just a dream?

Ford is more than he first seems and he is thankful for a chicken that changed his world not that he was looking for anything other than a vacation fling. Unfortunately that is all it can be because his life is complicated and his time has run out. Forced to attend a gala he once again finds himself face to face with his Hula girl and whilst trying to prove a point makes a mess of things. Now if she would only give him time to explain exactly how he is going to fix things.

This is a sweet and sexy love story that you are cheering for the best outcome for them. I loved the setting as I have always wanted to go to Hawaii and will get the chance on my next holiday.

Hula Girl by Lara Ward Cosio is a page turners for sure. I found myself saying ok, one more chapter before bed quite a few times. Ava is sent On a tropical vacation by her boss. She’s not used to sitting around doing nothing and is counting the hours until her unplanned vacation comes to an end so she can get back to work.
One morning she meets Ford as he’s going to do what he does best…surf!! They exchange a few words and she can’t help to stand there watching him for a few minutes. There is some sort of pull between them…They have an instant attraction to each other. They spend a few days getting to know each other and Ava cannot believe how easy it is to get along with Ford inside and outside of the bedroom. They decide since it’s just a vacation fling, they do not need to talk about the real world. They have a steamy and fun few days until Ava goes back home and faces her real world issues.

What will happen when their paths cross again. Will they be able to pick up where they left off or will it be weird for them? I enjoyed reading about Ava and Ford in LA just as much as Maui.
This book was a great read. The first I’ve read by this author and hope to read more by her in the future.

Lara Ward Cosio really hit this one straight to the home run. I absolutely loved everything about Hula Girl. That cover is bold and gorgeous drawing you in before you even know what it would be about. I loved that I wanted to read this before I even got to the nitty gritty. Then I found out that this book includes a lot of legal and lawyers stuff, a genre that I am partial to having wanted to always be a lawyer myself. I just connected with this fun and witty romance in every way possible.

We got to follow Ava on her hot sexy beach vacation and then we got to see how fate had her love life planned out well before she even knew what hit her. I loved the way this book didn’t fall into a predictable pattern. I had a blast seeing each twist and turn as they played out and when we get to that picture perfect ending it just really brings the book to a perfect close. I am anxious to reread this one it was that good! Can’t wait to see what else will come from the talented mind of Lara Ward Cosio!

I absolutly loved this book. It gives the feel of a fun romantic read but there are some serious moments in it that totally pull at the heartstrings. This was a read I’ve been needing lately! This was one of those books that gave you way more than what you were expecting. The character development was amazing and you couldn’t help but fall in love with the characters. Its one of those books that you will lose all time because it will suck you in and even at the very end you want to stay. I have to say Lara Ward Cosio has definitely made it on my list of automatic one-click authors!

HULA GIRL is a contemporary romance that was an easy breezy read.

Told in dual POV, this story takes place in L.A. and Hawaii and at times it reads like an Island vacation guide and I’m totally in.

I really enjoyed this story and was able to escape into it on a cold and rainy Sunday afternoon.

I absolutely recommend this book.

I loved this book. This is a romance story that kept me turning pages until the end. I loved being pulled into the story right from the beginning. This is an engaging story that heat up the pages. What happens when a workaholic meets the beach bum on vacation? Than they run into each other after vacation and pretend to be engaged. Are they really pretending or is there more to it? They are great characters with a strong chemistry. This is a must read.

The story Hula Girl by Lara Ward Cosio is a new adult/romance book. It pulled me in from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until I finished the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Ava and Ford. Ava is a woman who works hard at her job. She is not one for vacations and relationships seem to not work out. She finds herself forced into a vacation and that it is there that she meets Ford. Ford is a man who has decisions that he must make. He has taken time off and loves to wake up and go surfing. Then he meets Ava. There is an attraction, connection, and a pull toward each other. They are comfortable talking to each other which surprises Ava. It was only to be a vacation romance. When she returns to work there is a surprise reunion and Ava finds herself talked into a fake engagement. Ava believes that even though they have feelings for each other their relationship will never work. Can Ford change her mind? What does the future hold for Ford and Ava? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down. I grew to care about Ford and Ava with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. I also enjoyed reading about the other characters introduced. Some of them are friends and family and are helpful to Ford and Ava. Others have their own agenda and plans. This is a book whose storyline, characters, and dialogue many times had me with a smile on my face. Don’t miss out on an amazing romance story. I highly recommend reading it.

A sexy vacation/fake fiancée stand-alone romance with a guaranteed HEA from the author of the Rogue Series.
What happens in Maui, stays in Maui. Unless you run into your vacation fling back home . . .
Much to her annoyance, workaholic lawyer Ava Ruiz is forced to take a vacation to a tropical paradise. Unable to tear her mind off her cases, she’s counting down the days until she can go back to work.
Until she meets Ford.
Admittedly, she has nothing in common with the gorgeous surfer. She’s type-A and he’s the definition of laid-back. But for a few steamy days, that fails to matter thanks to their instant and undeniable attraction.
Inevitably, all good things must come to an end . . . or do they?
Once back to their “real world” lives, Ava and Ford come face-to-face in a surprise reunion that takes a turn when he asks her to help him out by playing along with a fake engagement. Reluctantly going along with the ruse, Ava soon finds herself wondering if either of them are pretending, after all.

Problematic Love (Rogue Series Book 8)Problematic Love by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It is my opinion that this should NOT be read as a stand-alone. I think the series needs to be read in the order it was written to fully grasp the story behind the story of these characters. There are a lot of characters that precede this book who play an intricate role in PROBLEMATIC LOVE.

There is a huge world to this series. In each of the previous books, there is a realistic take on events happening and at times I have enjoyed reading the stories and other times I’ve been on the fence about them. This is one of those books that was just a little too realistic, a little too “problematic” for me. There are boundaries crossed, characters that I wanted to shake and tell them to step away to take a breath, and complex issues that I think were handled in a way that leads me to believe the author has some experience in.

I don’t want to recap the blurb or give anything away so it is difficult to explain what I am feeling. I’ve sat with it for a little bit hoping for the review to become clearer to me, but it’s not. It’s an entanglement of real life vs fiction that I sometimes struggle with – so I will simply say…

Read this book (after reading the others, of course).

Problematic Love (Rogue Series Book 8)Problematic Love by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have read a few books from this amazing author and she continues to blow my mind. This is the eighth book in the Rogue series. I absolutely love Rockstar romance but this author exceeds my expectations. This is the continuation of Danny Boy’s story. You will have to at least read the fifth book Looking for Trouble to understand what is going on this book. This has grown to be one of my all time favorite Rockstar romances ever. I was so excited when this book came out. I stop everything and started to read this book right away. I was so invested in this story it only took me a little over one day to devour this incredible story.

This book starts a little bit after the first one ends. Danny Boy is so shocked but he got the woman he wanted the lovely Ms. Paterson. He knows that this is going to be the first real relationship he has ever had. Danny Boy had a bad childhood and he is still trying to heal from it. He was an addict and sometimes he still feels the temptation. Danny Boy is trying to become the man he needs to be for Amelia but it is easier said than done. He keeps on making mistakes that takes a toll on him and he quickly figures out that Amelia wants a lot of different things that he might not be able to give her. Will Danny Boy be able to find the man he truly is or will the darkness take over once again?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, heartbreak, healing, forgiveness. You will have a love and hate relationship with these characters. Danny Boy as we all know is a the perfect bad boy. He doesn’t care what other people think of him but deep down he wants someone to love him. Danny Boy is a very raw and real character that I grew to love. Amelia is a beautiful woman that has a good head on her shoulders. She knows that this relationship could turn out ugly but she feels something for Danny Boy that she can’t get away from. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This talented author will keep you on your toes until the end. I hope there will be more stories of this amazing band soon.

Problematic Love (Rogue Series Book 8)Problematic Love by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Problematic Love (Rogue Series Book 8) by Lara Ward Cosio is another fantastic look at Danny and his first proper relationship. He has had a rough time his whole life and turning to drugs trying to deal with it but in this book he has kicked it all and is desperately trying to find himself and learning to love someone who makes him better. When all you have known is tough times it is hard to look at yourself and not put yourself down and assume people think the worst even if it isn’t true. The pain, the self doubt could either make or break him and his fledgeling relationship with Amelia.

Amelia went to Danny with the hope of breaking out of herself, the self she is willing to let loose and try a relationship with the man she has feelings for. It’s not all hearts and roses and Amelia finds that the one thing she desperately wants is the one thing he is not willing to give her.

It is a story of the grittier side of life and the raw emotions of someone who never believed he could be loved. You need to get your hands on this series and start it today.

Problematic Love (Rogue Series Book 8)Problematic Love by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Problematic Love was a great 5 star read and book eight in the Rogue series.
This is Danny Boy and Amelia’s story.

Amelia had struggled with her feelings for Danny Boy, being that he was a patient of hers. But she decides to come to the United States to try and make things work with Danny Boy, although he’s not sure if he can.

Danny is a recovering addict who has laid out his past to Amelia, he can’t help but wonder if he’s good enough for her. Can they really make it work? Can he lower his walls and let her in?

There were so many emotional pieces in this book, make sure you have kleenex. We get lots of twist and turns. They will be pushed to make some hard choices in order to move forward. I was hoping that these two would get it figured out and I wasn’t disappointed. I have to say I think they are one of my favorite couples in the series. I loved seeing all of the other secondary characters, it’s fun to see others from the series. I believe you can read this as a stand alone by I highly suggest you start from the beginning. I can’t wait to see more from this series.

Oh Danny Boy, or now Daniel. Hes been through so much and finally when things are going his way, hes waiting for the other shoe to drop to ruin it all. Hes lost and doesn’t know how to function with being sober.

Problematic Love is book eight in the Rogue Series by Lara Ward Cosio. I have missed so.e books in this series and would recommend reading all the books before to maximise the reading pleasure this author provides. The story was still amazing even though I was slow on the uptake. The masterful way this author serenades a reader with the moving and tantalising content is enticing and addictive.

Daniel and Amelia err on the side of unethical. They cannot deny the inevitable pull toward each other, so they don’t. In theory, they should not ever be. But the reality is the love they share is undeniable. Their passion is uplifting, their connection deep. Their story was everything. 5 stars.

I have loved reading the Rogue Series since the beginning and I am ecstatic that the author keeps on going because I can’t get enough of them!! This book is no different, it is full of raw emotion, friendship, laughter, and so much more. This is Danny boy’s and Amelia’s story, and there is a lot of stuff for them to figure out, so you will find yourself on an emotional rollercoaster. If you want to find out if they are able to work through the past, their insecurities and other issues that they have then this is a must read. This has been one of my favorite series of all time and I find myself completely enthralled and invested in all of the characters. I highly recommend this book, I would give it more stars if I could.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Problematic Love is the 8th book in the Rogue Series by Lara Ward Cosio. The Rogue series is centred around a rock band called Rogue and their families in Dublin. This book is not designed to be read as a stand-alone. The author recommends that you have read Looking For Trouble and Felicity Found before reading this one. I had read Looking For Trouble but hadn’t read Felicity Found and did feel that I was missing some essential information so I would definitely recommend following the author’s recommendations and read the other 2 books first. However, this did not affect my enjoyment of this book. I loved Daniel and Amelia in Looking For Trouble and thoroughly enjoyed catching up with them again to see what their future held.
In Looking For Trouble Amelia is Daniel (or Danny Boy)’s therapist. Daniel is very broken and is a recovering heroin addict and Amelia has stepped away from her career after crossing the line and becoming too closely involved with Daniel.
This book continues their story as they try to work at becoming a couple, with all the trials and tribulations that being in a relationship bring. Every time it looks like they are getting somewhere another twist is thrown at you and the story goes in a different direction.
Just as it seems that all is going well, Amelia makes a confession that makes them both realise that they want totally different things. Can Daniel and Amelia make their relationship work?
I’d definitely recommend that you read this great book to find out. The characters are fantastic and so well written, you are really drawn into their story. You will go through a roller coaster of emotions when reading this book, It’s not a glossy romance, it’s hard hitting and gritty and this makes it more realistic.

Problematic Love by Lara Ward Cosio is the eighth book in the Rogue series. You do not have to have read all of this series you really do need to have read Looking For Trouble and Felicity Found inns order for you to get full enjoyment out of it.
At first I struggled s but with these characters – I’m not sure if I struggled to get back into their story or if I wasn’t as keen on this book. However as the book went on I found myself becoming invested in them again and wanting them to find a way to make it work.
I really enjoy this authors writing style as well. Everything feels so gritty and intense. This alone would be enough to make me read her books however the stories and the characters she creates are always done brilliantly.
If you haven’t already you should definitely read this series.

Problematic Love (Rogue Series Book 8)Problematic Love by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you haven’t read this series you need to start from the beginning. The reason I say this is because not only is this series really really great, but it is intense and in depth. You cannot miss anything. Especially these two characters, Danny Boy and Amelia. Danny Boy is Shay’s brother and is the bad boy that Shay continues to try and keep out of trouble due to his drug addiction. Amelia is Danny Boy’s therapist. So the conflict goes without saying…How do these two match up? How is Amelia able to be everything that Danny Boy needs, the girlfriend and the therapist? Danny is also struggling to be worthy enough for Amelia. He is so wrapped up in his own self-worth that he may mess things up. However, let’s not forget how when these two get together how they connect and know how to steam things up. This story is definitely intense and so good. You get sucked in and trapped just like you do with the rest of the series. Needless to say I loved it! I wouldn’t change anything about it at all!

Wow! Just WOW! This is a wonderful story. Danny Boy has been portrayed as a bad boy in the past. Problems? He has them. You name it. Once he conquered a few of them his brain/attitude became the problem. He met the lovely Ms Amelia Patterson. He became Daniel to her. He was always trying to be better (Daniel) but sometimes the Bad boy (Danny Boy) takes over. Not sure if he can reconcile both.

Danny Boy has been one of those characters you love to hate. He really added some trials and tribulations to the previous books. This one shows him in the raw. Trying to come to terms with who he is and where he is at in his life. Many times I *felt* for him watching his struggle. It was interesting being Inside his head.

Amelia has the patience of a saint! Actually that should be added to her title :-). She believes in Danny Boy. Bottom Line. No matter what happens she knows in her heart he will overcome. But she wants something out of life and doesn’t believe Danny Boy is capable of giving it to her. She really is as strong as Sophie! Again I am impressed with her and her choices.

It makes me smile seeing(reading) about these guys again. I realized how much i missed their crazy brotherhood. The relationship between Conor and Gavin, Shay and Danny Boy. They have been through some stuff but still came out the other side and remained friends or brothers.
These guys have all grown up and it was quite the ride but a joy as well.

This is a wonderful read! If you enjoyed the Rogue Series pick this up! If you haven’t..give it a go!

Excellent as usual Lara Ward Cosio!

Problematic Love is the eighth novel in the Rogue Series from Lara Ward Cosio, and I would have to say these just keep getting better and better with each book. They could be read as standalones if you really wanted to but I would highly recommend that you go back and start at the beginning with Tangled. The stories do have recurring characters and it is kind of like visiting friends each time you pick up a new one in the series. I just know that you will fall in love with the entire group.

In Problematic Love, Danny Boy’s story continues on a bit in the sense that we now find Amelia and him searching to find their footing in this new relationship that they have managed to forge. When roadblocks come up will the couple’s love be strong enough to withstand it? There is also updates in this book about past fav characters that I adored… maybe even some more angles for new novels to come? I sure can hope! I can’t wait to see whatever it is that Lara Ward Cosio gives us next!

Problematic Love (Rogue Series Book 8)Problematic Love by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Problematic Love is the eighth book in the Rogue Series by Lara Ward Cosio. The Rogue books are part of a really great Rockstar romance series. These are not your ‘typical’ Rockstar romance stories, there is so much more going on in each book. They are not hearts and flowers romances- as the books delve much deeper, and are somewhat raw and gritty stories that will work their way under your skin.
If you haven’t read the rest of the series, you are seriously missing out. This book needs to be read as part of the series, as there are relevant details and important information contained in previous books which you will need to know in order to fully appreciate what this book has to offer. At the very least, you will need to have read ‘Looking For Trouble’ (Book #5), and ‘Felicity Found’ (Book #6)- as this is the continuation of Danny-boy and Amelia’s story.
Their relationship hasn’t been a bed of roses, as addiction isn’t something that will let you just walk away, never to be heard of again- and loving an (ex) addict isn’t always easy. So, there are struggles, obstacles, and turmoil to deal with- and we witness all the emotionally charged, and sometimes unsettling details and revelations.
As with the other books in the series, this took me on an emotional journey full of all the highs and lows I have come to expect from Ms. Ward-Cosio. This is ‘life’ in its truest form, and Ms. Ward-Cosio didn’t shy away from giving us a warts-and-all experience. There were scenes that made my heart ache, and there were quite a few tears along the way.
Having the characters from the previous books make appearances in this story was great, I love their connection- and it was like revisiting old friends- and I loved catching up with them too.
I am really looking forward to Ms. Ward Cosio’s next book!

Thank you, Ms. Ward Cosio!

Problematic Love by Lara Ward Cosio is the eighth book in the Rogue Series and I hope not the last. I love this group and after eight books I feel like I have a real connection with them even if I’m not married to a rock star.

This is the book about Danny Boy and I’m so glad he got to tell his story to me. Danny Boy has been a drug addict since he was a teenager and quite honestly lucky to be alive and thankfully clean.

He does so much growing up in this book and it makes my heart happy. He deserves all the happiness the world can bestow on him and Amelia helps with that and shows him so much about himself.

As much as the romance between Danny Boy and Amelia is the story, I think this is one that has more than one important storyline. I loved this book and as much as I loved the others in this series I think this is my favorite. Something about Danny Boy that just wrapped around my heart.

Problematic Love is the eight book in the Rogue series written by Lara Ward Cosio and I have read all eight books in this series. Ms. Ward has done an outstanding job in writing Danny boy and all of his struggles and what he has overcome. I also loved how she made Amelia go out of her comfort zone. You know the saying opposites attract well this is defiantly Danny boy and Amelia. The characters are well written and I loved their quirks and the way these characters play off of each other.
Danny boy is screw up and he knows it he is a recovering addict and he is barely getting his life together. He has nothing to offer a woman like Amelia. And now he has done the impossible he got the girl. Now he has to figure out how to make a woman like Amelia happy or so he thinks.
Amelia has thrown all caution to the wind and decided the fact that she was once Daniel’s therapist is not a big enough deterrent to keep from having a relationship with him. So she took a chance. Because she couldn’t get him out of my head or her heart.

Is Amelia crazy for taking a chance on such a damaged man? Does she want to be with a man who requires a lot? Will Danny boy’s insecurities destroy any chances with Amelia? Can Danny boy overcome his insecurities? Can they separate the professional relationship from the personal relationship? Is this one of those patient therapist romances or is it the real deal? You will need to read this book in order to find out…
I highly recommend this book/series

Problematic Love (Rogue Series Book 8) by Lara Ward Cosio – Review by Katie Matthews

Problematic Love (Rogue Series Book 8)Problematic Love by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Danny Boy is one of those characters who throughout this whole series has intrigued me, he has definitely had his ups and downs, and some of those downs were particularly low but what I love about him is how he has come through everything and I loved that we got to find out more about him in the second part to his story. The author really has delved into some dark situations with her characters and I do find that I am hanging on her every word, I truly feel like I am living everything with them. The depth of her writing is amazing. I was so excited to catch up with other characters from previous stories too and see what is happening in their lives.
I really don’t want to spoil the story for others but I have to say I was so willing Danny and Amelia to find a way to make their relationship work and for Danny to realise that recovering addicts do deserve a second chance and do deserve a chance at love. There were some very emotional times in the story and some heart-breaking moments which had me reaching for the tissues. This really was an amazing conclusion to Danny Boys troubled life and story.
From book 1 to book 8 I have fallen in love with these characters and I absolutely adore this author. She has written some amazing stories about some wonderful, albeit broken at times, characters who I have truly taken into my heart. I cannot recommend this series enough and I will always look forward to reading more from Lara Ward Cosio in the future!

5 out of 5 stars

The story Problematic Love (Rogue Series Book 8) by Lara Ward Cosio is an awesome book that I loved reading. It pulls you in right from the beginning and I found myself hooked. I loved reading about Danny Boy and Amelia. Danny Boy is a man that is very attracted to Amelia. He is someone who seems to always think the worst of himself. Amelia is a woman who is looking to take a chance. She can’t get Danny Boy out of her head or her heart. Danny Boy and Amelia’s relationship is complicated. Will they be able to make it work? They find that they both want different totally different things. Will they be able to work things through? What does the future hold for Danny Boy and Amelia? Read this book to find out. I have loved reading about Danny Boy and Amelia ever since they were first introduced to the series. They are characters that I have found myself caring about and want them to be happy. This book had my emotions going up and down right along with theirs. The story also does include some steamy scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. I enjoyed reading about how Danny Boy and Amelia interact with the other characters in the story, many of which have been brought forward from the previous books. Don’t miss out on a story that will have you not wanting to put it down until the last page is finished. This is a story that should be read after reading Looking For Trouble and Felicity Found. Highly recommended reading.

Problematic Love (Rogue Series Book 8)Problematic Love by Lara Ward Cosio
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book and series! This is not a standalone book, I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series. This is a well written, creative story that kept me turning pages until the end. We get to see Danny Boy and Ameila’s story. They are great characters, Danny Boy is a love to hate character but it makes him real. I love how they pop off the pages. Just when I thought they would get together, life throws something else in their path. Their story is a must read.

Danny Boy
I’ve somehow done the impossible: I got the girl I wanted.
Only, I have no idea how to make a lovely person like Amelia Patterson, my former therapist, happy.
She’s a respectable woman.
I’m a recovering . . . everything. Just barely getting a life together.
Though she may claim I have something to offer, it’s only a matter of time before she recoils from the reality of what I am.
At least, that’s what the old me – Danny Boy – keeps thinking.
The new me – Daniel – has to figure out how to make this work, even when it turns out Amelia and I want totally different things.

Amelia
I’ve thrown all caution to the wind and decided the fact that I was once Daniel’s therapist is not a big enough deterrent to keep from having a relationship with him.
I never should have crossed that line.
But I took a chance.
Because I couldn’t get him out of my head.
I couldn’t get him out of my heart.
The thing is, for all the work I did with him, and for all the progress he’s made, he’s still incredibly damaged. Is this really what I want? To be with a man who requires so much?
It’s a question I have to figure out, especially when it becomes clear that Daniel and I want totally different things.
