This story was difficult to grasp when I started, but once I truly got into it I was not able to put it down. Penny and Leon’s story was one you could not help but fall in love with. It was a beautiful take on this historical era, and the characters left a mark. They cross a threshold in which decisions that are made can’t ever be undone, and it reflects on the depths of love 2 people can share. Its a delicate subject and this author did a great job with the way it was told. This was not just about a plantation owner and a slave, but truly a man and woman in love. There were some deep moments that left an impression, but still that balance of love and steam in-between. I would recommend this book for anyone.

This novella was hot, steamy, and fun! It takes your imagination on a very indecent ride to Dr. D a Pediatrician loved by children and of course the moms, nurses, aunts, and any other hot blooded woman to grace his presence. The story allows you to see Dr. D as more than just a dreamy doctor but an actual professional who cares about his patients and colleagues. He and Emily had great chemistry and it was exciting to see things progress. This book was a short, but fun read and I am eager for the future books within the series.

Book 3 is here and was absolutely amazing! This series has been great and has taken Sci-Fi to another level. The character growth made me understand their plights even better than before. The way the worlds were still as complex but even more developed let me gain a better understanding of the societies themselves. Book 3 took us places we had yet to be, and I loved every moment of it. The author left room for later installments or possibly it leading into another series. Either way I was very excited with the way this book went, and I only hope that there is more ahead.

Any true reader knows the value of a box set, and how exciting it is! To have your favorites all collected together in pretty packaging is a feel good moment!
All 3 Journey books were truly amazing, and started each one devastated every time I finished because it was that amazing. Book 1 was an extraordinary introduction to the world and characters. This Sci-Fi creation takes your imagination on whirlwind of 5 different individuals as they navigate personal beliefs, personal struggles, and the overall connection they each somehow have. Its such a fun story that you cant help but want to read from start to finish with no distractions. The relatable characters and life lessons no matter the world they inhabit made the story even more lifelike. There were so many things about this book that can be said! James Talisman took us on quite the adventure with his Multiverse and the many different characters who inhabit it. The worlds were wonderfully crafted with the most well thought out characters and their intricately woven stories. This book was a complete page turner, and prepared me for me book 2. Book 2 really pulled me in!! The character development and the storyline advanced further in book 2, and it really captured my attention with the imagination and detail. You truly feel as one with each character, and can easily imagine yourself there. As we reunite with the characters from book 1 we become privy to their dedication for their beliefs and their different worlds. As the story progresses we are able to see more about each character and more in-depth views of the multiverse, and how everything connects. James Talisman is very talented and he is one of the reasons I am venturing out to read more Sci-Fi books. Book 3 left me speechless because it was the finale and the series end. No words can express how excited I was for the story, but sad that it was not going on any longer. The characters had developed into their own, and their worlds were now as familiar to me as my own. This book will consume you and make you crave more of what this author has to create..

Steampunk is new to me, and this was my first exploration into the genre. The story itself intertwined Sci-Fi/History/Technomancy which took my imagination outside of the box. I was delighted with all the characters and the world they were built into. This book had drama, mystery, magic, and a unique plot as a whole. The MC Arabella was strong and determined despite the adversity that surrounded her, and she had no doubt in the path she was choosing for herself. This book was an interesting read, and a good introduction to the Steampunk genre.

This was a short novella, and my first read by this author. It was a sweet and wholesome story and the characters had a genuine connection. Mary was sweet and timid. She had less than the ideal life, and everything with Noah was completely new to her. Noah is hard working and independent, and in order to not lose everything he has worked so hard for must get a wife to get his inheritance and keep his farm land. Together its a journey based on faith and seeing if love is in the cards.

Hockey Romance does nothing but make you smile and give you all the good feels. Sports and Romance go hand in hand, and the second chance trope only enhances the dynamic.
Levi and Brynn’s story spoke to the heart. A history in which they were high school sweethearts who would have been more had family not intervened. 10 years later the Hockey star and the Divorcee get their second chance. A story proving love never dies and second chances can be given anytime. You will feel this story and the character emotions until the very last word, and it does not disappoint.

This story was a dark fantasy with mystery/murder in-between that pulled you in completely. One decision in Adrijana’s life managed to change her entire future. New to the court and exploring the unknown she ends up being accused of murdering the Queen, and then events only spiral from there. Given the situation Adrijana the MFC was amazing and fearless. She has to endure a lot of accusations and uncertainty toward her, but she only prevails and soon learns she has magic of a higher power. There were so many twists and turns until the very end, and every character had an air of mystery to their true intentions. This book is one you will not put down until the end.

They are newlyweds are still very much in love, and have a deep belief in a strong family bond. As they navigate married life and business there are many things around that are creating a bit of havoc. Power struggles in the studio as well as with competitors around truly up the stress and tension between them. Bryce is the all around perfect book boyfriend, and he stole my heart as much as he did Gina’s. Gina was a lovable character who had a brave façade, but so much inner turmoil due to what she saw physically and remembered mentally. The bombing took away a large part of her, and Bryce is that that person to help her see herself and get it back. Her and Bryce had misunderstandings, drama, and much self doubt to each overcome to obtain their HEA. This was such a beautiful story, and it was more than just the typical romance of boy gets the girl. The amount of emotional depth and self acceptance in this book spoke volumes.

Luca and Aly were such a sweet couple. The chemistry and connection they shared could not be ignored, and on Luca’s end would not be denied.
Luca lost his innocence as a young child being neglected and moved foster home to foster home, but being taken in by Rossi family was that light in the dark for him. Luca was immensely loyal, and as the heir to the Rossi family he was also ruthless and cold when needed. Knowing each other since they were kids there was a great deal of history with Luca and Aly. Luca was always protective and possessive of Aly, and he always knew when she needed him. However Luca being a Rossi and Aly a Mancini they were sworn enemies, and truly a Romeo and Juliet in the making. When Luca takes Aly as his own on her arranged wedding day its a declaration of war for the families. As the story unfolds there are many twists that were not foreseen along with a great deal of drama, romance, and betrayal. This story was a good one, and a great way to start the series. I am eager for what’s next.

Initially starting the book I was not sure what to expect. I am a fan of this author, and as always I was not disappointed at all. There were a few twists and turns I did not see, but the suspense and action of the novel are what tied it all together. Lydia was a strong and fierce heroine. The question of what would you do or how far would you go to save someone you love who was in danger was answered the moment she began this journey to save Cam. When Lydia learns Cam was taken and to get him back she needed to deliver the artifact Theodore’s Ring she is all in with no hesitation. Upon this immediate declaration she also discovers that she will not be going alone, and her ex Sullivan will be with her. The pressures to find the artifact, deal with her ex, and bring home her boyfriend make for an interesting journey, and a tale you will not believe.

This was such a fun read! This Author truly does paranormal humor like its nobody’s business. Each story has you laughing, swooning, and wishing you had your own supernatural life to lead! This story introduces us to Katrina the Succubus and Gabe the Incubus. Katrina is doing all she can to be free from Hell and escape Satan by denying her Succubus ways and being abstinent. Gabe was freed from Hell by Satan, but has now become more peace and love than sex. A very unlikely pair with a humorous rivalry, but fierce attraction.

This book was a very unexpected surprise. Its my first read by this author as well as my first real dive into historical fiction of this type. I enjoyed every moment of it. There was action, romance, wonderful historical detail, and amazing vivid imagery provided. This book truly takes you back in time with the story, and gives you the account through Jacek’s eyes being young and in the military with optimism and excitement of what’s to come. This book was a great read, and It took me outside of my box.
