Ellawyn and Beckett have a sweet story. Boy meets girl at the most opportune time. Beckett’s love for his grandfather brings him to try to save the shop and Ellawyns love for the shop brings her right by his side to help. Small town love story but it takes on some tough topics that only love can help navigate and conquer. This was my first read by this author but she hit the mark and I truly enjoyed it.

This was a very fun tale. 4 friends and their tales. All showing how similar but also how very different these friendships are. Friendship and adventure lead through each tale, as well as the strength of each individual. This was an interesting read and I love anything Greek Mythology. The road it takes you down is one of fairy tale and myth all in one. I would read this and other tales again.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This author was amazing and told a hell of a story. Grace proved to be a strong and resilient woman who’s success was well earned. She loved her family, loved MMA, and she proved she could conquer the world. She did so much to overcome the way she grew up and her mom and sister were very much her world, and when she got her MMA trainers in her life they become family as well. This is a story for everyone to read and relate to about following dreams and becoming the best they can be.

This was a great story with relatable and lovable characters in it. My love for this book is prompting me to explore the rest of the series and meet the other characters.
Levi was a guy on a higher mission. He wanted to lose his party boy ways and find his happily ever after, but was fearful of the rejection. As the story develops Kindle is introduced and our party boy starts to find his way and live his life differently. Kindle and Levi together are quite the pair and the connection and dynamic between them both will make it difficult for you to put this book down.

As Close to PerfectAs Close to Perfect by Maria Jane
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I adored this book! I feel like everyone can relate to string of bad relationships and then guarding your heart to protect it from future disappointment. This author told a wonderful story that was heartfelt and light at the same time. From the outside looking in you truly wanted all the characters to see where they should be, but its not how it works in the book world. Lol

Bree has picked one too many bad men in her life and decides rules are now needed if she will ever find anyone to be happy with. Upon these rules 2 men appear and 1 catches her eye more than the other. As she navigates through what she believes to be the perfect man who checks all the boxes she soon finds that her Mr. Right may not be what she wants and the boy on the sidelines just might be,
This story was cute and I loved all the characters and the dynamic they shared. Its well worth the read and I will definitely pick it up again.

Thorfinn and the Witch's Curse (The Forerunner Series #1)Thorfinn and the Witch’s Curse by Jay Veloso Batista
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was an amazing start to the series. This author is a hidden gem and this book proves it!! The story is set historically and we are met by the Norse, Vikings, and descendants of old England.
Thorfinn our main character is only a young boy being just 10, but he truly cements his place in the story. He develops so much within the story and his transformation of boy and ghost send him on many adventures. The supporting casts and multiple POV mixed in with the the vivid details really feed the readers imagination. This was a book I think all would enjoy and book 2 is already on my TBR.

I could not put this book down. Its been a long time since I fell this in love with a book, but this one hit the money spot!
Sera was an amazing female lead, and she did not back down in her professional life or personal. Together she and Cassius take you on an emotional and mysterious rollercoaster ride in which you don’t have a clue where you will end up. Cassius is this successful billionaire who likes to leave on the edge, and had quite the past . Together they had insane chemistry with perfect mixtures of drama, angst, lust, love, deception, and twists that you never see coming.

I love every piece of work this author puts out. She has me hooked and in tune to her MC world. Each story takes you inside their world as they find the better version of themselves and love along with it. Dwarf and Raven take you through an emotional ride as they conquer fear and low self esteem. You see Dwarf as more than his outside appearance, and Raven as the strong woman she is revealed to be. This is a story of angst, drama, action, honesty, love, and the family life of the MC.

I have always loved Greek Mythology and everything within it holds a special place in my heart. This trilogy was one of my favorite reads of this year. Each story was told each within a female voice and POV. A modern tale touched upon with a classic feel. As you read through and the stories come to life it transports you to back to the tales itself, and gives you that hidden glimpse. This was a wonderful read and If you love Greek Mythology then this is for you.

However Hailey is no stranger, and when he becomes involved striking a deal with her it turns the pages quickly. Hailey has always had a crush on Trey and now together under 1 roof it opens both their eyes to the love they could share. Phoenix’s Ascent (Hera Force Book 2) by Winter Austin – Review by Lauren West

Phoenix's Ascent (Hera Force: #2)Phoenix’s Ascent by Winter Austin
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a book that had everything you needed to draw you in, and a happy ending to cement it all together
Both the MC’s were independent and strong. Throughout the story you felt how in sync they were, and their force and strength alone became magnified the more they were together. As the story unfold its clear that Nadia and Mitch have a history that was hot, heavy, and way more than just a fling. While Mitch is determined to relive it….Nadia’s brain injury has erased any traces of it. Teaming up to clear Mitch’s name gives Nadia a glimpse of the man who knows her inside and out. Physically a stranger but emotionally a feeling that this man makes her whole.
This book gives you action, intrigue, suspense, romance, and a love story that even lost memories cannot hold down.

Exit Strategy (Nite Fire #5)Exit Strategy by C.L. Schneider
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Dahlia is a fierce force and this final book shows her full strength and how she has truly become all that she was meant to be. The growth and development over the series has cast her in many lights but this is the one where we literally and figuratively see her spread her wings as she was meant to. The support system around her of trustworthy and supportive friends allow her to grow in ways she did not see and that was one of the best parts of the series itself.. As it all winds down you get one last epic adventure with action, suspense, drama, excitement, and magic with these delightful characters and epic Heroine. The author truly took this series above and beyond.

The Anthology as a whole was amazing! It was everyone you expected and more. I started without stopping until the end!

**Louisa Bacio/ Witch Switch**
My first read with this author and I immediately added multiple books to my TBR after. This tale was spicy, magical, full of old fashion revenge, and proof of the power of love. Rafe chooses love with Cheyenne and the tale starts from there. They must ward off the jealous and vengeful ex-witch who really goes above and beyond to try and keep her man. The story is short, sweet, and well worth the read!

This book was very emotional and I shed many tears as I read. Some sad and some happy. This woman endured many struggles and feats, and its a story that is well told and not to be forgotten. It has immense strength of a 1000 women type vibes, and its an emotional yet beautiful story in itself. I loved the book, but felt emotionally drained along the journey.

This Night Has EndedThis Night Has Ended by Alexander Charalambides
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

So I am starting this series a bit lost because I am starting at book 5. This was truly a great story and a fun read, but I need the back story as well. The concept of vampires and humans is quite common but this story takes it to a fun and new level.
Rowena is an amazing character who I found to be a bit complex but she really sticks with you. The story as a whole has danger, romance, action, twists and turns, and a plot that kept you going until the end. I will for surely be going back to book 1, but I still recommend book 5 as well.

Bake OffBake Off by Cori Cooper
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I originally started the series listening on Audiobook. I fell in love with audiobooks because of the first book. I knew I had to read book 2 once it was out. This is a great kids book and I think it will show kids the fun of reading, and just the fun of being a kid/teenager. A lot of relatable things happen, and I can myself remember being a teenage girl with hormones and angst.
Cat and Robyn are a lot of fun and as Cat explores this new gift more we see her developing into a whole new girl. They of course have hijinks, crushes, drama, and of course delicious food as they navigate these newly teenage years.

I loved Greer and Theron. The push and pull between them, and the undeniable chemistry made the story magnetic. Greer was a strong and fierce heroine, and you cant help but fall in love with her character. Theron was very much a dark and broody soul with bad boy vibes. Together they are dark, intense, and fearsome. This was a dark tale I will not forget, and I am eager to continue to see if they couple thrives.

A Veil of Gods and Kings (Apollo Ascending, #1)A Veil of Gods and Kings by Nicole Bailey

This book was nothing like I expected. I went in blind because I did not want to make judgements, and I ended up loving this book! The author did the Gods and the multitude of drama plenty of justice and more.
Apollo and Prince Hyacinth were interesting together. Powerful men each trying to navigate what was thrown there way as well as adjusting to the mentee and mentor relationship. The way they were able to work together and the transition from enemies to lovers played out well. This story was a fun read, and I would read this author again.

I have fallen in love with everything Fae. The fantasy world of the Fae has become quite popular and amazing stories like this one are on the rise. I enjoyed the way the world was introduced and the amazing characters within it. The story pulled you in slowly and kept my full attention until the end. Fantasy, romance, action, and steam all within this magical realm with its delightful cast of characters. Ember and Gravyn our MC had a connection and chemistry that truly drove the story. There were unseen twists and turns but it only enhanced the storyline. This was my first read by this author and I cannot wait to pick up another book of theirs again.

Targeting Dart ( Satan’s Devils MC #4) Audio Book by Manda Mellett- Review by Lauren West

To start the narrators of this story were amazing. The voices fit the characters to the T! The story itself was full of action, suspense, romance, and of course an amazing HEA. Dart was a man who just lived his life with not much thought on up or down or more or less. He was a simple man who came across Alex who was a complex woman. Alex was strong, loyal, fierce, and a complete bad a**. Together they were everything and had a connection that no one else could rival. This author has rocked the MC world as usual and given us a great story that is not easily forgotten. Loved this book and loved the audio even more.

This was such a cute story with lots of valuable lessons attached. Caspian was a great kid and he definitely gave some food for thought after he received the pencil for his birthday. The illustrations were beautiful and the story itself left quite the mark. You learned the importance of doing for others as well as just doing good things in general. My 7 year old enjoyed the story and she was able to pin point the lessons right away!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was a fun and amazing read. My imagination was stimulated word by word with vivid descriptions and all the character interaction. A story very much outside the box and immensely engaging. I started the books out of order so I read book 2 first and then moved to book 1, and that is where I gained a great deal of insight.. This is story that is relatable and has a pandemic type feel. There is angst, drama, deception, mystery, deceit, intrigue, and a twist at every turn. It starts with 2 fisherman who unleash a worldly nightmare and the story begins from there. It will truly keep you on your toes and have you guessing.

This is a fast paced yet fun story that really keeps you guessing and ups the ante every chapter. I started backwards so book one is next, but this is definitely one you need to pick up.

Saving Marvel (Satan's Devils MC Second Generation Book 4)Saving Marvel by Manda Mellett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This series never disappoints. Each couple brings new life and and a new experience to the MC and the series. Marvel and Virginia tell a story that few can understand.
Despite Marvels lifestyle he is a good man who is a bit intense by loyal. Betrayed more than once he is distrust of women and relationships. Sweet Virginia is a woman who has gone through too much too many times and she lacked faith and trust due to bad choices one too many times. Marvel and Virginia are both broken souls going through life but not truly living. When they finally come together they find a home within each other. This story is an emotional and heartfelt journey where you feel their angst, fear, and desire all at once. This story hits every mark and stays with you long after the end.
