I had the ability to read Intentional by M.K. Harkins. Let’s just say that I was impressed with the authors’ ability to create a beautiful – yet painful world. \ We get to meet Mattie – a woman who thinks she has everything she needs, until she finds out about her fiancé’s betrayal. I think it hurt the most knowing that their love came from such a young age. I was intrigued with the way in which the story flowed and developed. I sat on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what decisions each character would make. I definitely enjoyed this book, and am excited to see what the author will do next. This was a definite 4 Star Book for me!
Intentional (Intentional Series Book 1) by M.K. Harkins is a romance with a twist and is quick and fast paced but enjoyable read where betrayal is the name of the game. I knew something was building and lurking in the background but I was unable to work it out. MK’s writing is simple but packs a punch in just the right places. The storyline flows and the characters were interesting and believable and their stories were told in their POV’s, which I love, and kept me engaged until the end. Can’t wait for book two.

Through Ivy, Angela starts to find a side of herself she has never known and realises just how little money can make you happy.
Lurking in the background is someone out for revenge. A plot has been hatched to kidnap Tiffany and make others suffer. While Tiffany thinks she is out for a day of fun, everyone else is trying to find her after receiving a ransom letter.
Will Tiffany be found in time and who are her kidnappers? Will Angela be able to face her past and make amends for all the bad she has done?
M K Harkins has done it again with the next instalment of this series. I love the characters and enjoyed the stories of Tiffany and Angela. You will love this story and won’t want to put it down.
Jain Parker has devoted her life to research to find a cure for ALS. A disease that took her mother from her life. She has also spent her life hiding the real her just to be taken seriously and to hide her true self from men.

Will Braydon change his mind and help out the team or will he stick to his guns? Can Jain overcome all her insecurities and a secret she has keep silent about for years?
All these questions and more are answered in this great story. M K Harkins is a very talented writer. Do yourself a favour and read this book you will not be disappointed.
The Reader by MK Harkins is not your typical YA read. This is a mix of paranormal and suspense. The story is about Ann, who is fantastically feisty and smart. She wakes up alone on the beach in the Pacific Northwest with no memory. She has been shot and doesn’t remember a thing about herself or the life she lives. In walks two young men, Devon and Archer, who claim she knows them. She does not remember them. Should she trust what they say? Suddenly she has to believe their story for the safety of their lives. She goes with them to a remote, mountain location. There she meets people she did not even know existed. These people claim to be mind-readers and she is supposed to be one of them. Not only one of them but The Lost One. The story is fantastic and takes all sort of twists and turns. The people turn against one another. Can civilization be saved? Can the people find a way to unite? I enjoyed this book because although set in a different setting tackles matters that are currently relevant. Can people learn to live together peacefully despite their differences? I was instantly taken with the character of Ann. She is a strong, opinionated, feisty female. I would have loved to have had more background into the characters, but ultimately enjoyed this book. It is a fun fast-paced read for any age with lots of twists and turns and interesting characters.
