My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a great addition to the series! The Longest Run: a Ski Patrol Rescue Romance is the fourth book in the Lawson Family series written by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. Carly only wanted a winter fling but instead is falling head over heels for Chris. Will they be able to continue their relationship after the winter? Their chemistry is amazing and is very steamy. Don’t Worry, I Still Hate You by Marie Skye – Review by Melissa Agena

Happily Ever AfterHappily Ever After by Piper Rayne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a great short story! Don’t Worry, I Still Hate you is a story written by Marie Skye. I just absolutely love this author! In this story, which I wish was longer by the way, we meet Perrie and Ash. These two have known each other since they were in high school. By mere chance, they reconnected in Las Vegas while Perrie was at a Bachelorette party! Perrie thought that this was the last time they would see each other, however fate had a different plan. Perrie needed a roommate and posted an ad about it. Low and behold, who shows up? Ash! This was an awesome story with lots of steamy moments as well as lots of comedy. These two characters have a lot of great chemistry and balanced each other very well. Like I said earlier, I wished this story was longer but it was great nonetheless. It was definitely a story that I could not put down! I can’t wait to read more from Marie Skye!

Second Chance eX-masSecond Chance eX-mas by N.D. Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a feel good book! This book was the epitome of a “second chance” novel. Second Chance Ex-Mas is a book written by N. D. Jackson. Ally is a single mom trying to build her business from the ground up. The only problem is that Glory, Ally’s daughter, keeps trying to find out more and more of her father. Archer left home and the only girl he’s ever loved. Ally. Now, he’s home and looking to rebuild what was broken. There is one big problem though and hopefully he can win Ally back. This story was so cute and so heartwarming. I loved the characters and how well they worked together. The steamy scenes were excellent. They give you the right amount of imagination to keep you hot. This is not a long book but, it flowed so perfectly that it worked really well. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who loves second chances and holidays. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

Grumbler's Ride (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #2)Grumbler’s Ride by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I simply adore this author and with this book she’s done it again! Grumblers Ride is Book 2 in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series. This time we take a look in to Grumbler’s life. Being one of the older members of the MC, he has never had anyone special to call his own and not to mention that he never wanted to either. He also never had or desired having kids. His Harley Davidson is the love of his life, that is until he meets a young girl and her mother. Mary is raising her 17 year old daughter Alicia on her own since her husband passed. When these two meet they form a friendship. When things start taking a turn for the worse they get closer until one day it just clicks for Grumbler. Now that the situation that they found themselves in, Grumbler decides he wants Mary as his own. This story was so great because it reached to those who are older. It isn’t about a young guy and girl trying to find someone. I was able to connect to the book in that way. However, I do have to mention that in Manda Mellett style, this book was so incredibly good. I love all of her MC series and continue to want to read more and more of her books. I recommend this book to anyone who loves MC books!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you love short stories you will love this book! Big City Heat: A High-Rise Romance Anthology is a book of short stories written by 12 amazing authors. I liked this book because of the multiple authors. Every story is written differently and the plots were definitely all different, but it all amounts to the same thing, Hot Steamy Romance! However, all the stories have a common scenario, which is that the romance blossoms inside high-rise buildings. That being said, all the stories are based in large metropolitan cities. Some of these stories will make you laugh and others will make you swoon. All the characters were wonderful. All the sexy scenes were on fire! I thoroughly enjoyed reading each and every story. I couldn’t put this book down! I can’t say enough of how good this book is. I would definitely recommend it to all romance readers out there. These stories almost make me believe in romance fairytales.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Book 9 in the Rogue Series, Rock Star on the Verge by Lara Ward Cosio was simply an amazing adventure! I truly love this series and the depths that it goes to. This is not your typical “rock star” book. This story follow’s Donal, a 17 year old on the verge of turning 18 that has no care in the world except going to clubs and his following on Instagram. He wants to be a musician but doesn’t want to put the effort into it. Donal is also Martin Wheeler’s of Rogue’s son. Conor, the guitarist of Rogue is on a downward spiral of depression. Having just lost his father, he doesn’t have any enjoyment out of life anymore. So what do they do? Go on a motorbike trip from Ireland to Spain so that Donal can finally meet his girl and to find a sense of adventure. It will also help Conor do a bit of healing too. It was a really good book, as I couldn’t put it down! There are so many elements and emotions to this book it made you connect with it on a different level. I can’t say enough about this book and this series. I would definitely read the books from the beginning so you can have a background to place it all. However, I’m sure you get away with reading this by itself though. I can’t wait to read the next one to see where Donal’s career as a musician has taken him!

Road Tripped (Satan's Devils MC Utah #1)Road Tripped by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a great way to start a spin-off series! Road Tripped is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC Utah series by Manda Mellett. In this book we start off in Tucson with Roadrunner aka Road. Drummer, the President of the Tucson chapter sends Road on a little road trip up to Utah to visit that chapter to clear his head and see what they are up to. Road was at the point of tasting victory when one accident cleared him of that. That one accident took every bit of his dream, so where does he go from here? Now, the Utah chapter is pretty different from all the others. Here he meets, Swift and boy does she take him for a loop. Not only does she take him for a loop, but so does the entire Utah chapter. Will learning about this club put him in danger of life or will it be just what he needs in order to find his way again? This book was better than I thought it would be. I was pulled in from the get go and couldn’t put it down. There was this constant mystery of who this Utah chapter really is and whether or not Road will leave alive. Not to mention this attraction to a woman that he has no business being attracted to. All of the characters and their back stories were amazing. There were so many twists and turns to make me want to continue to read the book. I cannot wait for the next book to come out!

The storyline is quite dynamic and believable to the point that you think you are in the story. There are so many twists and turns that keep you engaged and involved in the book. Trey: European Redemption (Russian Mob Chronicles Book 7)Trey: European Redemption by Shandi Boyes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The only word I can say on this is WOW! Trey: European Redemption (Russian Mob Chronicles Book 7) by Shandi Boyes was intense! Trey is book 7, so I do recommend reading the others first but you don’t have to. You can read this as a standalone novel. Trey is a part of the mafia world. So needless to say that he has demons and is quite broken in his own right. Kristina, who was a part of the sex trafficking world has demons of her own and is also a bit broken. Trey sees that in her and understands her kind of hurt. This book is very raw and dark. The sex scenes are quite explosive. It is a very in your face kind of book. Like I said before it is quite intense, which will have you turning pages continuously. For me, it was so very good! I have no problem recommending this book to someone who likes gritty and dangerous books. This book will suck you in and become intoxicating. I truly hope there are more to this series and can’t wait to read more!

Being Lost (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #1)Being Lost by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another home run for Manda Mellett! Being Lost the first in the series of the San Diego Chapter of the Satan’s Devil’s Motorcycle Club. The first set is based on the mother chapter in Tucson. You don’t have to read that series in order to read this one. But you know me…I always suggest you read everything from the beginning so you have a knowledge base. In this story we meet Lost. Lost is the President of the San Diego chapter. One of the main problems with him is that he doesn’t feel like he deserves to be prez. He constantly questions everything because the chapter was betrayed once before. Next we meet Patsy, she had to flee her home to save her son. The Tuscon chapter has asked SD to help watch over and her son. These two have both been hurt by people, which means that they don’t trust easily. So when it comes to each other they don’t know how to love easily as well. These two are such relatable characters in that sense. Like all of these author’s books, this book was such an easy read and it drew you in from the beginning and you just couldn’t put it down! I love this author and cannot wait to for the rest of this series! I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who love’s MC series! Well done Manda!

But you know it came down to fight or flight and when those two got together, let me tell you the heat was scorching! The sexy scenes were down right hot! The chemistry the two have together is simply amazing. This book has so many twists and turns and honestly, you have no idea who the stalker is until the very last minute and it mind blowing who it is! But I’m not telling you! You need to read for yourself! This story is so entertaining and I couldn’t stop flipping pages! You don’t have to read the first two books to read this one, but once again I always say to read them all in order first. Well done Ms. Mitcham!

Humiliating Revenge: Contemporary Young Adult Romance by T. Christensen – Review by Melissa Agena

Humiliating RevengeHumiliating Revenge by T. Christensen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OH MY GOD! What an amazing book! Humiliating Revenge is written by, T. Christensen. This is such a great story of rekindled love. Olivia is the Mayor’s daughter and lives by a severe set of rules. Calum has such a great heart but doesn’t come from the right kind of breeding. These two met in high school and after a very public and very humiliating break up, Calum HATES her for what he thought she is, which is a spoiled rich B*****! Olivia basically lives a nightmare that she believes will never end. That is until five years later when these to meet up again. Now, Calum who has achieved fame and success wants to humiliate her like she did him so many years ago. However, that completely back fires and the real truth comes out. This was an amazing story with so many twists and turns and all you want to do is keep on reading! The steamy sexy scenes are fire hot! And of course, the happily ever after makes you warm and fuzzy inside. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone! It’s going to be one of my go to books when I want to read something that most hated character becomes one of your favorites and where a true love occurs. I can’t wait to read more from this author!

Hawk’s Cry (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #2) by Manda Mellett – Review by Melissa Agena

Hawk's Cry (Satan's Devils MC Second Generation #2)Hawk’s Cry by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow! What an emotional roller coaster! Hawk’s Cry is book number 2 in the Satan’s Devils MC – Next Generation Series by Manda Mellett. Eli aka Hawk is the Vice President of the Satan’s Devils Motorcycle Club. Olivia aka Ollie or Liv (only used by Eli) is Hawks wife. They have been brought up by birth together, so it was only inevitable that they were to get married. Though they were somewhat pushed together, this is definitely true love. That is until Hawk has some serious doubts about his life with the club and with his wife. Then with the blink of an eye…No club, No family and No Friends. What happens when all you’ve known is club life and it’s all been taken away and you finally become a citizen? This book shows a woman who fights for her baby, her marriage and her life. It also shows a man who struggles with a disease and is shown full blown support. With that support he starts the road to recovery. This book has lots of twists and turns that no one is expecting. Like I said before, this story is an emotional roller coaster that leads to a very happy ending. It is book number 2 but you can read as a standalone, which I always say don’t do. I haven’t read such a great story in such a long time!

Love is What You Bake of it (The Meraki Series Book 1) by Effie Kammenou – Review by Melissa Agena

Love is What You Bake of it (Meraki, #1)Love is What You Bake of it by Effie Kammenou
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

What a delicious way to read a book! Love Is What You Bake of It is written by, Effie Kammenou. This is the first in the Meraki series. This cute little Greek book follows Kally and Max. Kally loves to bake and it shows through her café. She also hasn’t had the best love life and is kind of scorned by it. So what would any baker do but throw herself into her work. Then Max happens. Max is a police officer, who has just moved back to his hometown after a really messy divorce. Along with him, comes a 6 year old daughter named Athena. The moment Max walked into the bakery, there was no question that there was a great deal of attraction between the both of them. However, Kally’s reluctance has put a halt on anything happening between them. That is until Max decides that he wants to prove to her that they would be good together. So what other than baking do you think might happen here? This book really is great and I would definitely recommend it to others. Plus there are special treats in there for everyone! I won’t spill the beans, you will have to read and find out! I know I will be a happy camper the next time I step into my kitchen!

Jake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggy Daycare (Jake the Growling Dog Book 2) by Samantha Shannon – Review by Melissa Agena

Jake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggy DaycareJake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggy Daycare by Samantha Shannon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What an adorable book! Jake the Growling Dog Goes to Doggy Dare Care by Samantha Shannon and Illustrations by, Lei Yang. This wonderful children’s book is about a dog named Jake, who tends to growl a lot, who gets to go to day care for the first time. The story talks about fears and anxieties. Also, how to overcome some of those fears and anxieties. I think it was a great way for kids to understand that it is going to be okay for their dogs to go to day care as well as for them to go to day care as well. The illustrations where fun and colorful. There were portrayed the story very well, which I think made the story just that much better! I was thoroughly impressed with this book and will definitely suggest it to people with little ones!
